Sara is joined this week by Katie Hargrave and Brett Hunter, partners in the socially engaged art collective, Like Riding A Bicycle. Katie and Brett began the collective in 2014 and have been using their training as artists to facilitate public engagement using a variety of creative methods ,interaction styles, and capabilities. By starting with the assumption that the place is already made and that their role is to support the people, culture, and history of what already exists in a place, they design projects that listen to multiple perspectives, respond to local contexts, and nourish the ways communities have power.
