(00:33):
You know, there's really onlyabout three types of people that
you're gonna encounter in life.
And each and every one of youwill have to make a decision which
one of these three people youwill be.
And the first person that kindof sits in this seat, this person,
if you're taking notes, thisis the natural person.
This is the self directed life.
(00:56):
Matter of fact, if you're inchurch right now and you're watching
this, you probably aren't oneof these people.
But you work with thesepeople, you go to school with these.
These people are your familymembers that you see a couple times
a year, you know, when youhave holidays together.
So these people, they have notreceived Jesus Christ.
They.
(01:16):
They have not received him.
As a matter of fact, self ison the throne, and self directs all
their decisions and actions.
And often it results in frustration.
I'm gonna read a verse.
First Corinthians, chapter 2,verse 14.
And it says, the naturalperson does not accept the things
of the spirit of God for theirfolly to him, and he is not able
(01:41):
to understand them becausethey are spiritually discerned.
Now, if you look at FirstCorinthians, chapter 2, verse 14,
this word folly, everybody sayfolly, okay?
It means foolishness.
But I want to go deeper.
Can I go deep today?
Is that all right?
Okay.
Foolishness in the originallanguage means being ridiculously
(02:04):
or wildly unreasonable.
So what this means is, youknow, these people, they're living
their life and they're justtrying to get by.
You know, I know that youdon't have anybody smoking marijuana
here in Michigan, but in NewYork, we have that problem.
And these people are goodpeople, but they use it to get by.
(02:27):
And it's THC and caffeine and nicotine.
And when they're driving towork, they turn the music up real
loud and they're just tryingto survive.
I want to rock and roll all night.
Oh, you guys probably knowthat song.
And party every day.
I.
Okay, only a few old schoolrock and rollers here.
(02:48):
Probably you all are Beyonce fans.
And so, you know, they turn upthe music and they're just trying
to survive.
You know, it's as manyphysical experiences that you can
create at the same time.
So taste, touch, smell.
It's everything through theirphysical being.
And it's like, how high can I get?
How drunk can I get?
How loud can the music get?
(03:09):
And I just have to survive allof the pain and anxiety and depression
and brokenness of this life, and I am in control.
No, the thing about 1Corinthians chapter 2, verse 14.
It says, the natural person, they do not accept the things of
the spirit of God, for theyare false foolishness.
They're absolutely ridiculous.
(03:29):
It's unreasonable and wildly unreasonable.
So the fact that you woke uptoday to go to church on a day you
didn't have to go to work andyou decided to take a shower and
put on nice clothes and comehere is wildly unreasonable to them.
And as a matter of fact, thisChristmas, when you're with them,
(03:49):
they might even tell you howcrazy you are for giving your finances
to the local church.
Now, never mind the fact thatthey spend their money on weed, alcohol,
thc.
Never mind the fact that theygive huge portions of their money
to Panera Bread and to thelocal Applebee's.
But heaven forbid you supportthe local church.
(04:10):
Oh, come on.
We're gonna get sassy today.
We're gonna.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend.
I'd rather cut you with thetruth than kiss you with a lie.
Amen.
Isn't it funny?
Doesn't it reveal that they'rein this seat, that they're mad at
you for giving your money tothe church, but they support Bud
Light.
(04:33):
Okay, I'm amongst friends, butthis is a natural person.
So when you give yourfinances, that's a spiritual decision,
and it says it's wildlyunreasonable to them.
Some of you are serving onteams today, and you say, not only
am I gonna go to church, butI'm gonna stay extra long and serve.
(04:54):
They're like, you are crazy.
You're a psychopath.
But see, they'll go to work, and they'll work overtime to get
more money to fund more addictions.
But the natural person can't understand.
So they turn up the Beyonce.
Oh, the single ladies.
Oh, I don't know.
I just embarrass myself.
(05:16):
I don't know Beyonce.
But, you know, they turn upthe music, they vape, they drink
more alcohol.
They're trying to do whateverthey can to survive.
And some of these people havegreat hearts.
They want to do the rightthing, but they're lost.
Okay?
Many of you here are like, okay, Pastor Mike, that's not me.
I'm not that person.
Well, maybe you're the next person.
(05:37):
Okay, now, don't get tooexcited yet.
This is the carnal person.
Now, this is a carnalChristian, though.
And this.
Okay, now, am I your friend?
Do you promise to still loveme when this is over?
Cause some of you might belike, pastor Dwayne, please don't
ever bring him back.
(05:59):
This is a carnal Christian.
And the reality is, most ofyou are sitting in this seat.
Now, I say that out of love.
I know.
My name's Mike Signorelli.
You can call me Papa Siggsright now, because I'm gonna have
to give you some uncomfortable truths.
But I'm doing it in love.
And the carnal Christian, thisis one who's received Christ, but
(06:20):
they live in defeat becausehe's trying to live.
He or she's trying to livethat Christian life in their own
strength.
So Jesus is in their life, butnot on the throne.
Self is on the throne and selfis directing the decisions and actions.
And it often results in frustration.
(06:41):
Okay, I got a verse for you.
First Corinthians, chapter three.
First Corinthians, chapterthree, verse one through three.
And I, brethren, I could notspeak to you as spiritual men, but
as.
Okay, can I read it the waythat I think the apostle wrote it?
Cause you know, the older Iget and I've got a 16 year old here,
(07:01):
Bella.
And you know, when you haveteenagers and I pastor a multi site
church and I'm raising upleaders and pastors, I started reading
the Bible differently.
So I'm going to read afamiliar passage with an unfamiliar
revelation.
And I brethren, I couldn'tspeak to you as spiritual men, but
as to men of the flesh, asinfants whittle babies in Christ,
(07:26):
I gave you milk to drink, notsolid food, for you were not able
to receive it.
Indeed, even now you're notyet able.
I have a 16 year old.
You're not ready to drive a car.
I can't even trust you with acell phone.
You're just a widow teenager.
Bella, do you hear the language?
(07:47):
I wanna give you a car, but Ihave to learn to trust you with other
things first.
You need to clean your room first.
See the apostle, he's speakingto the church and he's saying, I
want to entrust you more, butI can't.
Now watch.
This is.
We're gonna go there.
O. I feel like y' all areready for this.
(08:08):
Indeed, even now you're notable, for you are still fleshly.
Say the word fleshly.
Why?
For since there is jealousyand strife among you, are you not
fleshly?
And are you not walking likemere men?
Oh, this is so good.
In churches all acrossAmerica, we have made the milk and
(08:31):
the meat.
How intellectually profoundand articulate and deep can.
How much Greek, Hebrew,Aramaic and authorial intent and
historic background can yougive us?
That's the meat of the word.
No, that's not the meat of the word.
And people have even leftchurches and then said, I'm going
to another church because thischurch doesn't teach the meat.
(08:52):
You know what's so ironicabout people who say that they're
taking that scripture out ofcontext to say that you can't leave
this church saying, well, wedon't teach the meat of the word
because according to theapostle, the meat of the word is
not how articulately youcommunicate it and what kind of verbal
linguistic gymnastics you cando with the language.
(09:14):
And wow, people, the meat ofthe word is how obedient to the spirit
you are.
And so if you are surrenderedand submitted to Jesus Christ through
the person of the Holy Spirit, living a spirit filled life, now
you are living the meat.
Does that make sense?
And so milk, because this iswhat it says.
(09:35):
For since there's jealousy andstrife among you, are you not fleshly
and are you not walking likemere men?
And so milk and meat, it's notdeep preaching and shallow preaching.
It's spirit led living orcarnal living.
Oh, come on.
We're going there todaybecause the carnal Christians, they're
(09:56):
no different than the unsaved people.
We have our music too.
We're just trying to get by.
How can I do it in my ownstrength that we turn up our music,
shout to the Lord all the earth.
Okay, that's old school.
You unravel me with.
And so, oh, that's my jam.
(10:18):
I'm no longer a slave.
Y' all know that one.
See, what happens is thecarnal Christian who's sitting in
this seat, they're turningtheir music up too.
And they're saying, I needthis music to get by.
I'm no longer a slave to fear.
And they're just turning theirmusic up.
And then the person over herewho's not a Christian is like, I
wanna rock and roll all night.
(10:40):
And they're saying, oh, Iunderstand why you're doing that.
We're doing the same thing.
And you're telling them, oh,no, no, no, you can't sing that music.
You gotta sing our music.
And they're saying, well, yourmusic makes you feel better and my
music makes me feel better, sowhat's the difference?
Oh, come on.
Oh, I'm going there today.
(11:01):
And then this person says, oh,you know, your unsafe friend.
They say, well, you have yourchurch, I have the Kiwanis, the Key
Club, the local ymca.
I have a community.
There's a lot of communitiesout there.
Oh, help me Lord, help me preach.
This I have aa.
I have.
(11:22):
You have your group, and Ihave my group.
What you're doing is nodifferent than what I'm doing.
And then you say, no, no, butthe church, it's different.
The church, it's special.
We should all come together.
We should worship and singthese songs.
And they're saying, yeah, wedid that at the Taylor Swift concert.
You give your tithes and offering.
(11:42):
We buy tickets.
It's the same thing.
Oh, come on.
Do y' all still love me?
Okay, now watch.
And I, brethren, could notspeak to you as spiritual men, but
as to men of flesh.
As infants in Christ, I gaveyou milk to drink.
Not solid food, for you werenot yet able to receive.
(12:06):
In so many churches acrossAmerica, we have people that are
still milk Christians.
Not because our worship's not good.
We have the best productionwe've ever had in human history.
Not because our sermons aren't amazing.
We have the best communicatorsin human history.
It's because we don't know thethings of the spirit.
(12:30):
We've taken the spiritualthings and we've dialed them in and
made them as carnal as possible.
And the people of the worldare saying, I don't want that.
It's not attractive to me.
Oh, parents, can I just tellyou that Gen Z is not becoming more
atheistic.
Gen Z is spiritual, but not religious.
Did you know they have amobile app on their phone called
(12:51):
TikTok?
And one of the most viralcategories of it is witch talk.
Did you know that?
Because Gen Z is looking forthe supernatural, they're looking
for the spirit.
If you go into the grocerystores, if you go into the stores
where they buy clothing, theimpulse buy at the register is tarot
cards so that they can learnhow to read tarot cards.
(13:14):
Did you know this?
And so Gen Z is telling us,they're saying, we don't want dead
dry religion, but we do wantthe supernatural.
And how many of you know thedevil shows up parading as an angel
of light, and he says, oh,I'll give you the supernatural.
And he gives them acounterfeit power.
And then here's the thing.
(13:35):
How many of you know that evennetworks of demons work together
and they trade and exchange information?
And so even a psychic mediumwill be accurate not because they're
hearing from God, but becausethey're hearing from a false spirit.
And so now we have carnal.
We have carnal.
We have carnal, fleshly people.
They're dead in their spirit.
(13:56):
They haven't accepted Christ, and they're just experiencing as
many physical things as possible.
And then see, some of them aresaying, but maybe the spiritual realm
is real.
How do I access it?
And they love shows aboutghosts and ghost hunters, and they
love shows about the spiritualand the supernatural.
And they're getting intooccult practices that.
(14:16):
And Pastor Duane mentioned influencers.
But how many of you know thatthere's influencers even within the
realm of occult practices now?
And there's people that wouldhave never heard about all of these
other things.
But now because of theInternet, your kids are in their
bedroom doing spiritual practices.
And then you have thisChristian that's saying, I wish you
(14:39):
would just go to this, and Iwish you would just listen to this
music and I wish you would gowith the program.
But the problem is, to thosewho are spiritually dead, it looks
the same.
Are you with me today?
To those who are spirituallydead, it looks exactly the same.
And so what must we do?
(14:59):
What's the next level?
We must learn how to operatein the spiritual realm.
Let me tell you a story fromwhen I was a teenager.
I remember my mom, she's asingle mom with five kids.
And she raised us and we struggled.
She got married multiple timesto what became abusive stepfathers.
And so my childhood was spentbetween a trailer park in South Chicago
(15:23):
and, you know, just subsidizedhousing in northwest Indiana.
And I remember we were justtrying to survive and we weren't
these people, but I think in alot of ways we were these people.
And my mom said, well, wegotta go to church every week cause
that's gonna help our family.
But then all of a sudden, westarted learning the supernatural.
And when we started learningthe supernatural and how to live
(15:45):
a spirit filled life, thingsbegin to change.
And I remember my mother, shegot a diagnosis and I was a teenager
and.
And the diagnosis she got wasthat she had tumors and cysts and
that she needed to go into asurgery and they were gonna remove
the tumors and cysts and shewas gonna be bedridden.
And then that meant that ourfamily was not gonna have any provider.
(16:05):
And you all know what happensnext in those situations.
And so I remember saying, ohLord, we're gonna lose our place
where we stay.
We're gonna lose our house.
Everything's gonna be really,really bad.
We need a miracle.
How many of you know thatimpossible situations will force
you to move out from being acarnal Christian to a Christian led
by the Holy Spirit?
(17:33):
There's an activation thathappens, you know, in those types
of situations.
And I said, oh, God.
This is truly a test of what Ibelieve and what I don't believe.
So something began to rise upinside of me as a teenager.
And we were at MasonicHospital in Chicago and they were
prepping my mom for the surgery.
And the surgeon came to meetwith us and he said, hey, I just
(17:54):
want to tell you it's going tobe several hours.
When it's over, we'll come andget you and we'll give you an update.
I looked at that doctor and Isaid, when you open up my mother,
you will not find any tumorsor any cysts.
Oh, come on, you're clapping already.
So there must be some spiritfilled believers in this place.
How many of you know thatfaith speaks and fear jumps?
(18:17):
How many of you know that thepower of life and death is in your
tongue?
How many of you know thatspirit filled Christians know how
to change an atmosphere by thewords that they use?
And I was just new to this, Ididn't know what I was doing.
And I just said.
And he goes, what did you say?
And I said, mm.
I said, when you open her up,you're not gonna find any tumors
(18:39):
or any cysts.
Well, all of a sudden, hourswent by and a person who worked for
the hospital said, hey, thesurgeon wants to speak with you in
another room.
Well, here in America, whenthey take you to another room, that's
often an indicator that yourloved one passed away and they wanna
prepare you to tell you they died.
So I was immediately filledwith fear.
(19:00):
Have you ever had a momentwhere you say the right thing when
it's time to say it, but thenfear starts to creep in afterwards?
See, when you're sitting inthis seat, there's gonna be a tug
of war.
That's why the Bible says I dowhat I don't wanna do and what I
don't wanna do.
Tug of war in this seatbetween the spirit and the flesh.
(19:20):
And see, I was in that momentwhere I was like, oh, Lord, I feel
so much fear right now, thinking that they're bringing me
into this other room toconsole me because my mother has
died.
Instead, I come into the roomand this doctor looks at me and he's
like, tell me again what yousaid to me before the surgery.
And I said, well, I told youthat when you open up my mother,
(19:42):
you're not going to find anytumors or any cysts.
And he goes, okay, can we takea seat?
Come on, somebody.
And it was me and him, andhe's sitting in the seat and he's
like, Okay, I want to tell youwhat happened.
(20:02):
I went to go make the standardincision where we always make an
incision.
And when I went to go makethat incision, I heard my head nurse.
The head nurse said, no, don'tcut her there.
You have to cut her in anotherspot, this other spot.
And I did it.
And when I did that, Irealized that there was a main artery
running another direction.
And if I would have cut yourmother in the standard way we do
(20:24):
all these surgeries, she wouldhave hemorrhaged and bled out and
died on the table.
So then I went to my headnurse and I said, hey, thank you
for that information.
You really saved me today.
And the nurse looked up to meand said, I never said anything.
That's when they knewsomething was changed.
(20:46):
See, the atmosphere begins to change.
Something begins to happen.
There's worlds start collidingbetween the physical and the supernatural
dimension.
You probably can feel theatmosphere changing right now.
Some of you are going to behealed even before this sermon is
over.
God's about to do something inyour body.
God's about to touch you.
I know that you came from allover today.
Expect God.
(21:07):
I feel the anointing.
But then he said, I gotta tellyou, the next thing that happened,
I open up your mother, and I.
And he goes, you understand?
I have all of the scans, I hadall of the information, all the data.
But when I opened her up,there were no tumors and no cysts,
and I had to close your motherup and send her away.
(21:28):
Can somebody shout Hallelujahif God is good?
And I said.
I said, well, it was JesusChrist that did that.
And he said, well, I'm a Muslim.
You mean Jesus the prophet?
I said, no, Jesus the Messiah, the savior of the world, not Jesus
(21:49):
the prophet.
Come on, somebody shout.
And I said, today I'm going toget you a Bible.
And I'm coming back with aBible today for you.
And I gave that Muslimdoctorate mistake, Masonic Hospital
in Chicago, a Bible and said, welcome to the winning side.
(22:11):
This is when I started toreally learn and understand that
man.
Let me just tell you, youngpeople, being one of these Christians
is boring.
If you don't like being aChristian, you're doing it wrong.
The Christian life is an adventure.
It's a wonderful adventurewhere you wake up and Eugene Peterson,
(22:34):
in the message translation, hegives a translation that you wake
up and you say, what's next, dad?
What's next, Papa?
I mean, the life of aChristian is not the life of survival.
It's the life of thriving.
And when we turn that musicup, it's not to drown out anxiety.
It's to say, in Grand Rapidsas it is in heaven, hallowed be your
(22:55):
name, your kingdom come, God,today, what's gonna happen on the
Spirit break out.
And carnal Christians, theysimply don't understand this.
They don't understand this.
And I just want to tell you,if you're sitting in this seat, if
you found yourself growingcold, cynical, one of the biggest
(23:17):
indicators that you're sittingin this seat is you become a critic.
We don't need more bloggers.
We need more prophets andevangelists and shepherds and people
flooding the streets.
We don't need more blogs.
We need more prophecies andwords in the street.
And we need people to rise up.
But when you're sitting inthis seat, you always have a complaint.
(23:38):
You know, I would rather be achef than a food critic, I'd rather
be an author than a literarycritic, and I'd rather be a burning
one than a lukewarm Christian.
Anybody with me on that?
Because when you're.
You know, when I first movedto New York and I want to honor Pastor
(23:58):
Duane, he really believed inme in a time where probably not many
people believed in me.
And I remember when I moved toNew York City, I was.
You know, the pastors there, they told me the average Weekly attendance
is 30 people.
And they thought they werehelping me.
They said, we just want toprotect your expectations.
I said, protect my expectations?
What kind of language is that?
(24:19):
I saw Moses stood in front ofthe Red Sea and it parted.
I serve a God that does the miraculous.
What do you mean?
And they said, well, we'vebeen out here.
You don't know New York.
See, carnal Christians willput Saul's armor on you before you
fight Goliath.
And it was David who said, Idon't prove that armor.
I know he delivered me fromthe paw of the lion and the bear,
(24:42):
and surely this uncircumcised Philistine.
And see, what they didn'trealize is I was going to New York
City, where there's a wholebunch of Muslims, But I've already
seen God save a Muslim innorthwest Indiana and Chicago before
I moved to New York City.
How many of you know that?
You've got a radio referenceyour past, to know your future.
God gave you a victory back then.
He's going to give you avictory again.
He's going to do it again.
(25:04):
He was faithful.
He healed you back then.
He's going to heal you again.
He saved you.
Surely he can save your family members.
But carnal Christians, theycan't understand this because the
warfare and the battle of themind, that's why the apostle is saying,
I really wanted to speak toyou as spiritual men, but you're
really men of flesh.
(25:25):
You're infants in Christ.
And I really feel like this isa wake up call for many of you who
are sitting in this seat.
You know so much, it's time toactivate it.
I moved to New York City andall of a sudden, you know, these
pastors, they told me whatcould and couldn't happen.
And we're having movietheater, church, and that was the
only venue that I could get.
(25:45):
And I was one sermon, I wastalking about God as a father.
And I said, if you want toreceive God as your heavenly father,
just raise your hand.
And I look all the way up intothe balcony and there's this beautiful
big brown man waving me downlike he's trying to land an airplane.
And I was like, well, that'snot necessarily the Christian way
to do that.
Usually we just raise one hand.
(26:07):
But that man really wants God.
After the service was over, and I had led everybody to Christ
through Romans, chapter 10,verse 9, Confess with your mouth.
Believe in your heart, youwill be saved.
All of a sudden, I met him onour mezzanine and he said, hey, it's
so nice to meet you, Pastor.
My name's Ayush.
I said, ayush, where are you from?
He's like, well, my family'sfrom India.
(26:28):
And he said, we're multigenerational Hindus.
And I said, well, today reallymessed that up for you, didn't it?
I said, what happened?
Because when I said, who wantsto accept Christ?
You were waving me down.
And he said, oh, he goes, recently my dad died.
And in Hinduism, we watchedthe body burn for hours and hours.
(26:51):
And it's a form of mourningthat we go through.
And he said, the whole time Iwas watching my dad's body burn,
I kept thinking to myself,I'll never have a father again.
I'll be fatherless for therest of my life.
(28:15):
And he said, when I came tochurch, I've been severely depressed
and I've been grieving, I'vebeen in a mourning season.
And one of my friends said, you've gotta come to church, just
try it.
And I got into church and youwere saying, you can have a father,
you can have a heavenly father.
If you're orphaned, if you'rebroken, if you come from abuse and
trauma like I did, you canhave a father.
(28:35):
And he said, you were speakingright into the pain.
And that's when I knew, I need Jesus.
So that Hindu became aChristian through the adoption of
Jesus Christ.
And Ayush became saved.
Weeks later, I baptized Ayush.
And I just love seeing peoplewho've never been a part of church
do some of our church stuffbecause they don't even know how
(28:57):
to do it right.
And it's amazing.
I baptized him and I put himunder that water, and when he came
up, he shot up 8ft like freeWilly out of that water.
And he just screamed, woo.
This is amazing.
This is the best feeling of my life.
The joy of my salvation.
Some of you have lost the joyof your salvation when you sit in
(29:22):
this seat.
Oh, Lord, help me.
I'm gonna turn this way so Idon't offend you.
When you sit in this seat, youwill exchange the joy of your salvation
for the criticisms of being aprofessional Christian.
I don't want to be aprofessional Christian.
I don't want to ever getbetter at Christianity.
(29:42):
I want to get better at beingsurrendered to the Holy Spirit.
I want to submit and surrenderto him and say, God, whoever you
want me to be, however youwant me to live, I want to live that
way.
I don't ever want to be a professional.
Matter of fact, for as manypeople as I lead to Christ on the
stages of V1 church, I alwaysgo into the streets and say, God,
(30:03):
without a piano player behindme, can I still lead them to you?
Oh, and they cuss me out inNew York City and I say, oh, I love
being persecuted.
I know Peter doesn't respectme yet, but he will one day.
Why do I say this?
Because I want to move you outof this seat today.
(30:25):
This is not why you submittedand surrendered your life to Jesus
Christ to sit in this seatfull of.
I hope they come out with anew song.
I hope Bethel and Upper Roomand Hillsong come out with a new
song.
I hope Elevation Church comesout with a new song.
I hope we have another conference.
I hope that they hype me upwith another feel good message.
You did not sit in this seatbecause this seat is all about emotions.
(30:46):
It's all about feeling.
It's all about your mind.
It's all about what you canexperience through that realm.
And it makes us not that muchdifferent than these people.
But there's one more seat, andthis is the seat that I came here
today to move you into the seat.
And can I just tell you, whenthe scriptures Say that broad is
(31:08):
the road and many people willwalk on it.
Do you see now that there'seven gonna be people who cast out
demons in the name of Jesusand they're gonna do these amazing
things and the Lord's gonnasay, depart from me, for I never
knew.
You see how broad this road is?
And very few people will everget to this seat.
But I think that we can get awhole auditorium, people and everybody
(31:31):
watching online in this seat today.
Because in this seat, it's,try harder, be a better Christian.
Oh, I messed up.
I can't go to church and showmy face because I was vaping and
smoking and drinking with this person.
I have to try harder.
I have to fast, I have to pray.
I got a dear woman in mychurch, and she came to growth track
(31:52):
after church one day, and shesaid, pastor Mike, she said, I've
been fasting, I've been praying.
I've been reading my Bible more.
She said, I've been giving.
I said, praise God.
She said, I've been serving more.
I said, praise God.
And she said, I've been doingall these things as much as I could
because I want to receive thegift of tongues.
And I haven't received thegift of tongues to speak in other
(32:13):
languages according to the Spirit.
Why is that, Pastor Mike?
And what she was revealing isthat she was sitting in this seat.
I said, if you did all thatwork, it wouldn't be the gift of
the Spirit, it would be thereward of the spirit.
It's not the rewards of thespirit, it's the gifts of the spirit.
(32:35):
If you can earn it, it's a reward.
But you can't earn it.
You only receive it.
Can I just tell you, if you'resitting in the seat, you're always
trying to earn it.
You're always trying to tryharder, push harder.
But there's another way.
Can I show you the last andfinal seat?
See, this seat, you actuallydon't sit in it at all.
(32:59):
This seat you reserve for theking and you get down on your knees.
Oh, I'm talking to the bluecollar construction working men whose
knees hurt from laying tile.
I'm talking to the mothersthat are changing diapers and raising
kids.
And I'm talking to the whitecollar professionals in suits right
now.
You don't sit in this seat.
(33:20):
You bow before the one whodoes and you say, jesus, you're worthy
of praise.
I worship you and you alone.
God, you are the true andliving God, and I worship you.
Like Abraham and Isaac andJacob, I have an inheritance and
God, if you can do anythingwith my family, do it.
God.
In this seat, you say, I'vebeen grafted in.
(33:41):
And God, I want to be thatbloodline generational curse breaker.
There's some things that runin my family, but I am where they
run out.
Come on.
Can somebody shout if you knowwhat I'm talking about?
This is how you win the war,by waving your white flag and saying,
(34:03):
I was an enemy to God.
I was against everything thatyou stand for.
But my family name is going tomean the name of Jesus Christ.
There's no more Signorelli.
There are just children boughtby the blood of the lamb.
In this seat, they're fighting addiction.
In this seat, they're fighting addiction.
(34:24):
But on your knees, addictionis broken.
In Jesus name.
In this seat, it's, oh, how.
How much medication can I have?
In this seat, it's by hisstripes I am healed right here.
There's something about this.
First Corinthians begins tobreak this down.
(34:45):
It says, but the spiritualman, the spiritually mature Christian
judges all things, questions, and examines and applies what the
holy Spirit reveals.
Somebody say the word reveal, yet himself is judged by no one.
The unbeliever cannot judgeand understand the believer's spiritual
nature.
(35:06):
For who has known the mind andthe purposes of the Lord so as to
instruct him?
Another scripture says, hisways are higher than our ways.
His thoughts are higher thanour thoughts.
Can I just tell you, if youwill step into the spiritual dimension
and say, jesus, take me by the hand.
He will teach you to walk bythe spirit if you will let him take
(35:32):
your hand.
There are some things thatyour mother never got freedom for,
but you will.
There are some things thatyour grandmother and great grandmother
never got freedom from, butyou will.
There's some things that runthrough the bloodline on your father's
side that your father andgrandfather and great grandfather
never got freedom from.
But you will be the firstbecause you say, God, I submit and
(35:53):
surrender my genetic code, mybloodline, my inheritance.
And I want to be saved, switched into a new inheritance by
the gospel.
And I want to be what you wantme to be.
God.
There's no other explanationfor why a trailer park welfare kid
is standing in front of youthan the blood of Jesus.
(36:15):
Oh, we're getting ready topray in a few moments.
Recently I did a genealogy andI spent money to have them trace
my line back because I said, surely there's got to be something
redeemable on one of the sidesof my family.
Do you know That I got thereport back, and when I got it back,
premature death on both sides.
(36:36):
When I got it back, all kindsof dysfunction, jail, all these kinds
of things.
And I said, lord, I thought inmy bloodline I was gonna find something
significant, clear as day.
The holy spirit said, oh, you did.
It was me.
You thought that yourancestors were gonna make you feel
special.
(36:56):
But I actually am.
What is uncommon?
I'm what's uncommon.
And God will take the commonand make it uncommon.
The Bible says he takes thefoolish things of the world to confound
the wise.
He'll take somebody simple andgive them the gift of knowledge.
He'll take someone that'sunlearned to give them the gift of
wisdom.
Why?
So that Jesus receives all ofthe glory.
(37:17):
And so here's my question toevery single one of you.
Who's next?
Which one of you are gonnasurrender and say, okay, Lord, I'm
ready.
I'm ready to burn for you.
I'm ready to live for you.
I'm ready to submit andsurrender to you.
I'm ready.
Now watch.
Galatians, chapter 5, verse 16.
And just for a moment, couldyou just stand to your feet, because
(37:38):
I want to pray over you.
Galatians, chapter 5, verse 16says, but I say walk.
Everybody say that with me.
Walk by the spirit.
Come on, say it again.
Walk by the spirit.
Come on, one more time.
Walk by the spirit.
This is your destiny.
(38:00):
It says, walk by the spirit.
And you will not gratify thedesires of the flesh, for the desires
of the flesh are against thespirit, and the desires of the spirit
are against the the flesh.
For these are opposed to eachother to keep you from doing the
things that you want to do.
On the V1 church livestream, months ago, my friend EJ was leading
(38:24):
worship, and he was singing, and I thought he was singing in tongues.
And I said, oh, this is so beautiful.
What an incredible experience.
So I came on stage as the leadpastor, and I said, ej, keep singing.
Keep singing, keep singing.
When it was over, he came to me.
He said, pastor Mike, he said, thank you so much for that moment.
I never sang in tongues before.
I said, tongues?
(38:45):
I thought you were speaking Spanish.
He said, no, I was singing in tongues.
I thought it was Spanish.
I thought he was singing in Spanish.
And all of a sudden, while wewere still talking, his sister sent
him a message and said, hey,ej, since when did you learn Portuguese?
And he said, I don't know Portuguese.
(39:07):
He said, I'm watching the V1church livestream, and you're leading
worship and you're singing aphrase in Portuguese over and over
and over again.
He said, I thought I wassinging in tongues.
I'm here with Pastor Miketalking about it.
What was I saying?
And she typed him back thephrase you were saying.
I give all of my adoration to you.
(39:29):
The gifts of the Spirit arereal, but you've got to know the
gift giver to receive the gift.
You know what I want more thana healing.
I want the healer.
Do you know what I want morethan deliverance?
I want the deliverer.
Because when you have Jesus, you have it all.
And when you know him, he'lldistribute gifts to you and things
will begin to unlock andyou'll go into the job and suddenly
(39:52):
you'll have a knowledge aboutsomething to say, say to somebody.
And the tears will begin tofall down their face and they will
begin to accept Jesus.
We need to open up into thespiritual realm.
And how do we do that?
Somebody say it with me.
Walk by the Spirit.
I want to do this witheverybody's eyes wide open.
(40:15):
If you're ready to commit yourlife to Jesus Christ, just lift up
one of your hands right now.
Is there anybody here?
Like, ayush.
Is there anybody?
I want to live.
I want to lift my life up to Jesus.
Just lift your hand.
Come on.
I see you.
Wow.
Seeing a lot of men, it's amazing.
Yeah, come on, we cancelebrate that.
(40:36):
We're going to pray in amoment all over this auditorium.
Now, is there anybody elsethat says, I don't want to sit in
the seat.
I don't want to be a carcarnal Christian.
Just lift your hands, both ofthem, to heaven.
Right now, we're going tobegin to pray.
And I believe that as I prayand you pray with me, that not only
are you going to be ignitedwith the fire of the Holy Spirit,
(40:57):
but you're going to rededicateyour life to Christ.
You're going to join withthose who are making the decision
right now for the very first time.
I believe that physical bodieswill be healed.
I believe that minds will be restored.
I believe that purpose will berealized and the chaos will be broken
and turn into clarity in your life.
Everybody just say this with me.
(41:18):
Say, heavenly Father, I giveyou my whole life, my past, my pain,
my trauma.
I give you my physical body.
I hold nothing back.
Wash me with your blood.
Forgive me of my sins.
I submit and surrender to you.
(41:40):
Have your way in my life.
And Father, right now, I giveall to you.
Come on, let me pray for youguys right now.
Father, I pray for everyphysical body touch and heal their
body from every pain.
Father, I thank you for tumorsand cysts and cancer dying in the
name of Jesus right now.
(42:01):
For deaf ears opening andhearing increasing right now.
God, that you would just touchtheir backs and all arthritis and
everything that they'restruggling with.
And I thank you for miraclesright now in Jesus name all across
this place.
Can somebody just shout Amen?
Amen.
Come on, let's give 20 secondsof praise to the Lord.
(42:21):
Let's celebrate what he did.
So saved, bodies healed.
Come on, shout unto Jesus.
