We all have goals and desires for the most important areas of our lives. We want the best for our health, careers, marriages, and relationships. Most of us set out to make positive changes with the best intentions. We hit the ground running, but over time the desires fade, we lose our motivation, and we don’t see the results we hoped.
What happened? We lacked consistency. Consistency is key to creating the results that we want to see. Yet, we struggle with it. We live in an instant-gratification culture. We want results quickly. We also get distracted, prefer comfort over discomfort, and know that there isn’t a high cost to miss a day here and there.
So, how do we get started and stick with it? Pastor Danny shares three insights:
1. Decide what you want.
2. Put it on your schedule.
3. Seek accountability.
