Speaker 1 (00:15):
Breaking news, and today the Lego group is giving us
a sneak peek inside look at something new coming for
twenty twenty six under the Batman umbrella. Let's go ahead
and kick off into this. So we're going to talk
about five different sets I believe five different sets a
number of different sets here that are coming on in

(00:38):
January of twenty twenty six. Huge big deal stuff, right,
I can't I Some of this stuff looks really really cool.
The first one we want to talk about is the
Batman logo. So all of this falls under DC Batman. Obviously,
the set number for this is going to be seven
six three three zero, is going to have six hundred

(01:01):
seventy eight pieces. Price is going to be eighty bucks US,
eighty bucks in Euros as well eighty euros, eighty bucks
in euros, eighty euros, and it's going to be seventy
bridge pounds.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
This is coming out on the.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Third of the new year in January. This thing looks wicked,
so let me read through this real quick for you.
So send out the Ultimate bat Signal with this Lego
DC Batman Batman Logo building set gift for boys, girls
and kids aged twelve and over. Celebrating the twenty years
of Lego DC Batman. This collectible piece of room decor

(01:39):
features the iconic symbol with two minifigures and a host
of accessories. Display the Batman signal on its stand or
mounted on the wall using the built in support. The
model is decorated with well known items from the DC
universe which can be detached and repositioned, including batter rags
and the Harley Quinn Hammer. The set comes with a

(02:01):
Golden Batman minifigure and a Golden Anniversary coin, plus a
traditional Batman minifigure which can fit into an opening hatch
at the center of the model designed to look like
the Batcave suit vault door. The set contains we already
talked about that there is a bonus digital unlock feature.

(02:21):
You can reteem redeem a golden character to play in
the video game Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight.
Scan the QR code on the building instructions and follow
the directions.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
How cool is that? Huh?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
So I'm looking at some of the press photos here
and this thing looks cool. Not the biggest DC fan
never have been, but some of this looks really, really,
really sharp. So you have the batter rang some of
the griebling stuff that they talked about. You have black
handcuffs in here. You have the batter rags. You have
like a fire extinguisher. You've got the little the batgun

(02:58):
that he shoots that the little three hooks that you
can get on top of buildings. There's a paint roller
in here. There's a megaphone in here, there's a flag,
there's a I see a little propeller that goes on
top of like a minifig hat. There are what do
we got in here? We've got some binoculars to got

(03:21):
just a bumper from a Lego city vehicle. You got
a walkie talkie in here. It looks like there might
be a microphone. Is that I don't Maybe that's not
a microphone. Some really cool stuff in here, But the
vault door is really wicked neat in the way that
that is done. To be able to open that and
be able to you know, have have that experience as

(03:43):
well as really cool. Now I do have the big
bat logo that they did. Oh my goodness. At this point,
it was probably five or six years ago. I think
it was pre COVID, and I don't have that on
my wall in the studio. In this studio, I had
it in a previous house that we were in. So
this is it looks like it's gonna be a obviously

(04:03):
it's gonna be a much smaller version, but this is
gonna be sharp in its own right. So you do
get the two Batman. Two Batman's the Golden Batman, I
think is kind of neat. That's kind of fun in
its own right. Of course, just a sawid gold Batman,
you know, face and all. I think that's kind of neat.
It's it's just sharp. There's just something about it. It's

(04:24):
pretty sharp. So the next product we have to talk
about is the Lego Batman Versus Superman Batmobile seven six
three three one is the set number has two hundred
and twenty pieces, so that's gonna give you a rough
ideal already on size and scale. But it's going to
retail for thirty bucks and thirty euros and your twenty

(04:46):
five British pounds. It is coming out again same time
of the third of the New Year, and it says
join Batman for high speed superhero adventures with the Batman
Versus Superman Batmobile. Building set a great gift for boys
girls in a in kids age nine and over. To
celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Lego DC Batman, this collectible

(05:08):
piece of Batman merch features the iconic car plus a
commemorative armored Batman minifigure with a fabric cape. The Batman
Batmobile Model Kit features a front mounted non functioning shooter,
opening cockpit and headlight details depicted with graphics stickers. A

(05:29):
commemorative Golden coin again is built into the car's interior.
The Batman minifigure can be seated inside the vehicle's cockpit
and with the Lego Builder app, kids can zoom, rotate
three D and track progress as they build. Bonus digital
unlock feature redeem the Batman versus Superman Batmobile and Golden

(05:53):
variant of the Batmobile in the video game Lego Batman
Legacy of the Dark Knight again. So scanning QR code
on the instructions, so you're getting content for the game.
It's a big way of them to be able to
sell the game, is what I'm hearing now. The Batmobile
is okay, it's meant to look a certain way. It's

(06:15):
not the Batmobile that I love. Two hundred and twenty
pieces here, so it is not going to be super
highly detailed. You've got to keep that in the back
of your mind. This is meant to be a kid's toy, obviously.
You have the armored Batman or whatnot. He's got some
stubble on his face. It's pretty cool looking. I don't
hate it. The minifigure actually looks pretty cool. The vehicle

(06:38):
is it's going to be what you expect for the
price point, let's just put it that way.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
But it's pretty pretty cool. It's pretty cool to be
able to get something.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
The gold variant they do have in the press photos
actually looks really cool looking for the game, obviously, but
I really love the way that it looks. I would
love if we got a gold Batman vehicle. That'd be
pretty sharp. Canna lie, that'd be pretty sharp. This the
scale of this almost reminds me of something like Speed
Champions esque. Maybe probably wider two four six. Yeah, it's

(07:12):
gonna be a maybe a little bit wider. Uh, probably
not as long I would imagine, or maybe I'm not sure.
They may have stretched the frame on this pretty good,
but it's a it's a nice addition to the Batman universe.
To the toy universe, to the Lego catalog for people
to be able.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
To enjoy that. Maybe maybe you don't want.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
The big Batmobile, or maybe you can't afford it. You know,
there's a lot of people out there that cannot afford
these crazy prices of things. And I'm not just saying,
you know that Legos prices are absurd or anything. I'm
just saying things get expensive, and they get expensive fast,
especially when you got a pick and choose priorities. But overall,
I think it's gonna do pretty well.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
I can.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
I can foresee this being an interesting item for people
to pick up, especially you're getting in game stuff. I
think that's gonna be a seller for parents to kids.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I could.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I can really see that being the case. Well, before
we move on any further talking all the Batman craziness,
we'll be back in a moment. So then we're gonna
move on to the next one here, and is the
Batman Batmobile. The set number is seven six three three
to two. It has three hundred and thirty pieces and
it's going to retail for this same exact price that

(08:28):
we talked about, thirty bucks, thirty euros and twenty five
bridge pounds retails or retails it's coming out the same day.
The retail launch date is still the third of January
twenty twenty six. Batman fans can bring action from the
twenty twenty two movie to life with the Batman Batmobile Toy,
a model car building gift for boys, girls, and kids

(08:50):
age nine and over. It's gonna be beaten into my
head by the end of this I swear celebrate the
twentieth anniversary of the Lego DC Batman with this collectible
merch featuring the iconic car and the Batman minifigure wearing
a fabric cape. The play and display Batmobile toy is

(09:11):
authentically detailed and features a removable roof, which provides access
to the vehicle's cockpit, where the Batman minifigure can be seated.
A commemorative twentieth anniversary golden coin fits beneath the removable bonnet.
Where have we been hearing this stuff before? It's like
I just read something like this. And with the Lego
Builder app, kids can build with confidence, zoom, rotate and

(09:34):
three D and track progress with easy to follow building
digital instructions. Your bonus digital Unlock feature for this you
can redeem the Batman Batmobile and a golden variant of
the Batmobile in the video game Lego Batman Legacy of
the Dark Knight. Scan the QR code for building instructions

(09:54):
and follow the directions.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
There we go. Now you know, now we already know
what we're walking into.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Right. The Batman, I think, is okay looking. You know,
he's got a chisel jawline here, so that always works.
I guess you know, this is a handsome looking dude.
The fabric cape is okay Batman kind of stuff. I
almost prefer the rubber capes more so. This Batmobile definitely
not my favorite in the wave of Batman movies in

(10:24):
that universe.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
It's okay.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Again, you're probably looking at something roughly speed Champion size.
If you're trying to get an idea of how big
is this thing going to be. That's pretty much what
you're looking at here. I don't have dimensions on any
of this that was not provided, but that's pretty much
what you're looking at. I would imagine you got some
stickers for the hubcaps here, the wheels and stuff like that,

(10:49):
but all black really build up. Not a whole lot
of studs on the side here. Not a ton, so
that's kind of that's kind of nice. Just a few
sticking out so you get flat surfaces, you get some
nice angled surfaces. In general, some of these newer pieces
that have come out in the last few years are
in this build, so that is nice to see again

(11:11):
just kind of your little simple car. But again seeing
the gold variant, Oh my goodness, gracious, I had looked sharp.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
I why can't we get a gold variant? Darn it?
How come would that be?

Speaker 1 (11:26):
But yeah, I guess it's I guess it's just a teaser, right,
They're just trying to tease us with this stuff, and
you know at some point that, you know, maybe maybe
they released one. I think they should. Honestly, I really
think they should. It would probably do pretty well as
far as being sold off, especially kids. Kids would love

(11:47):
that kind of stuff. Moving on to the last one here,
So it isn't five. I lied to you. I'm sorry,
Please don't beat me up too bad. The last one
is the Batman and Robin Batmobile seven six three three
three triple reason there. That is the set number. The
piece count for this is two hundred and seventy two
and it's going to retail for thirty bucks, thirty euros

(12:07):
and twenty five British pounds. Same launch date of the
third of January of twenty twenty six. So with the set,
you can play out iconic superhero adventures or create an
impressive display with this Batman and Robin Batmobile. I've read
that sentence. I know this is a tangent here. There's
a typo in here. It's supposed to see. It's supposed

(12:30):
to say an it says, and create and impressive display,
I said, And because I can read on the on
the fly, I'm not a dumb dumb but somebody make
a mistick. It's okay, where were we the Batmobile? It's
building toy gift for boys, girls and kids age nine

(12:53):
and over.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
I'm gonna be speaking that in my sleep.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Celebrating the twentieth anniversary of Lego DC Batman, this collect
merchandise features the iconic car, plus a Batman minifigure with
a fabric cape and a commemorative twentieth anniversary golden coin.
This is the authentically detailed replica of the Batmobile from
the Batman and Robin movie. The Batman minifigure can fit
into the cockpit and the commemorative coin fits beneath the

(13:18):
cars removable bonnet, and with the Lego Builder app, kids
can build with confidence, zoom, rotate and three D and
track progress with easy to follow digital instructions. Bonus digital
Unlock feature redeem the Batman and Robin Batmobile and a
golden variant of the Batmobile in the video game Lego
Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight. Scan the QR code

(13:40):
on the building instructions and follow the directions. Hah, imagine
that this is my favorite Batman. I like scruffy Batman.
The gold Batman is kind of cool. I like this Batman.
It's just sharp. The print on it is kind of simple,
not anything crazy. I believe, if I'm not mistaking, I

(14:03):
believe this is this Batman and Robin. I believe this
is from the I think it was nineteen ninety five,
nineteen ninety six. I believe with Val Kilmer being the Batman.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Am I correct?

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Am I not correct? Batman and Robin. I think that
was it. I think that was it right, Batman in
Return it was Batman Batman Returns. I think it was
Batman and Robin because he had poison ivy in that
movie and you had on Shortzenegger is mister Freeze. I'm
pretty sure that was it. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, whatever,
But this batmobile is pretty pretty slick looking. Some stickers

(14:39):
on here on the front with your hardened bat logo
on there, that's kind of cool. Some red streaks down
the side, stickers yet again, the bat wheelwell covers. I'm
wondering if those are two by two printed tiles. Now
that I look at it, I think they're probably stickers.
I don't think they're printed tiles. But you have a
number of different stickers and stuff like that. But you
have the big old wings in the back that kind

(15:01):
of stick up slightly angled to each side. That is
kind of cool. I do like this. It's a much
longer vehicle than some of the others. Probably a little
bit more slender maybe, but definitely longer, a little more
fierce looking, more of your traditional Batman. And I know
some of you are gonna say traditional, what about sixties Batman?

(15:22):
I get what you're saying. That is traditional Batman. I
get it when we talk about traditional movie aside from
that talking Batman from eighty nine ninety two, when Batman returns,
I swear this is ninety five or ninety six Batman
and Robin and then so on and so forth. So
you've got your more modern Batmobile type vehicles that are

(15:47):
introduced in those movies, and that's kind of what you
have here. But overall, I really don't hate this. I
think it's kind of neat open cockpit, you know, Batmobile,
so you don't have you don't have this closed, you know,
make it look in like a real kind of car.
Like with the last one that we talked about. This

(16:07):
is just a little bit different. It's nice, it's kind
of cool looking, and you know, you've got your Golden
coin in here. How could you not like the Golden Coin.
I love it. The front looks pretty cool, the back
looks ferocious man, just really cool looking. I just I think,
I think what really needs to happen with this kind

(16:30):
of stuff with DC Batman.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
I know it's the twentieth anniversary.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
They need to continue to bring some of these sets,
like stuff to do with Mister Freeze, you know from
like movie stuff, do that kind of stuff. The Riddler,
you know, those are some really good movies. The Batman
Return stuff you know, we've we've seen. I think the
Batmobile from that. I don't know if there's a difference
between the Batmobile from nineteen eighty nine and ninety two.

(16:58):
Maybe there is, maybe there isn't, but they look pretty
similar to me as a kid. I don't know the
last time I saw It's been probably five years. But
you know, hey, there's a way that you could get
the penguin with Danny DeVito's you know, kind of make
the makeup of him in minifigure form. That'd be kind
of cool. His little rubber ducky. There's some that movie's

(17:21):
awfully violent with a number of things, but it'd be
still kind of cool. You know, you get some of
the penguins and stuff like that with the rockets on
their back. Hello, that'd be pretty neat. But overall, I'm
I don't hate this. It's not my favorite, but for
what it is, I think it's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
This.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
This to me feels more Speed Champions modified. This would
look cool. I think sitting with Speed Champions in your
home wherever you might have it on a shelf on
your desk, playing on the ground on the floor, I
ain't outside in the dirt and the grass. I don't
know either way. I think it works pretty well, I

(18:05):
like it.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Frankly.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
I think it looks pretty darn cool, and of course
the golden variant even looks better. Yet it looks a
thousand times cooler just because it's gold. There's an awesome
powers line in there somewhere from Gold Member. I'm not
going to do it because my accent for that is
that characters are horrible. It's horootious. Anyway, that is your

(18:29):
breaking news. It's a long breaking news. I hope you
enjoyed it. I had fun bringing it to you. I
am looking forward to some of these sets. Are you
going to pick up any of these when they are
available come twenty twenty six?

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Or you again to sit and wait? Are you not
into it at all?

Speaker 1 (18:46):
I think the last one that we talked about is
something that is something that I'm I have interest in
to be able to add to my Speed championshelf shelves.
At this point, I think it would look kind of
neat just in there, even though it's not Speed Champions.
But you know, you could do some stuff to the
wheels to make it look even a little bit more slick,

(19:08):
maybe even some stickers, put in some take some of
the F one logo stuff and stickers and put it
on there of sponsor stuff.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
That'd be pretty pretty funny.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
So that'll wrap it up. You guys, be nice to
each other out there. Be kind to everybody out there
in the world, especially all the Lego people. Be nice
to the Lego people especially. It'll wrap up breaking news.
I'll talk to you guys next time.
