Rod?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Look, I want to start. I love this series, but
I want to start with a quick story. So for
the last twelve years, I got spos.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Tibile Booker teen walking at Reality of Wrestling, kind of
his right hand man, and there.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Was a time of two years ago where he was
doing something in the ring. We wanted to document it
and film it a little bit. So I'm in the
office with Booker.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
There's an old Texas Wrestling veteran named black bardin there
I'm recording. He keeps giving me the side eye, and
then finally he grabs my arm and leans in and
says one of the greatest things in the world to me.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
He says, are you protecting the business? Brother?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
And Uh, it's such a And you laugh because you
know exactly these kind of guys from back in the
day who.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
I have feel much respect for. You grew up obviously
around the Cult of k fab.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
How do you feel personally about kind of the cameras
being exposed, exposing.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
The business as some people might say.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Oh, man, well, I think for me personally, having this
opportunity to kind of share the person behind the character
and really connect with the fans on a whole new
level and maybe they understand where I'm coming from, or
the or the reasoning behind Charlotte's passion and dedication and

(03:06):
why she's you know, always winning titles.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
It's it's been great for me.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I didn't realize how in depth you know, the show
was gonna be. I mean, I still feel a strange
saying like, oh, you know in Gorilla to someone like
you in an interview, But but I think it's great.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
I think the business is evolving.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I think, you know, Total Divas was such a hit
and this is Total Divas on a whole different level.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
So I just I think it's great for me.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
It's been great getting to you know, humanize the character
and just be you know me for not me like
because I'm playing a character, but to be understood.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Yeah, yeah, and to get that perspective have like people
look at when you talk about mentioning things like Gorilla.
I was also surprised how in depth they went into
when they talk about Gorilla, because again, it's working at
Reality Wrestling. Bruce Pittcher was with us for a few
years and seeing Bruce sit there and Gorilla, yeah, kind
of gives me some flashbacks.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
But there's two great feelings. There's the feeling.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Before you go out through the curtain in Gorilla, and
then there's the feeling coming back through Gorilla and looking
for the approval from Vince at one point now from
Triple H. If you kill it, you love walking back through.
If it doesn't go the way you wanted to, you
almost want to come through with your head down. But
do you have a favorite Do you like going out
or you like coming back? What's the better gorilla feeling
for you.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Oh, I like going out, but I mean, I mean
you always want to come back. But just that anticipation,
the adrenaline, thinking what it's going to feel like, what
you have to do. I mean, there's nothing like it.
There's nothing like performing. I feel like when you're leaving,
it's like, oh I want it to be longer.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
I don't. Yeah, so completely different feels.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Yes, we know.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I've been in the building when you won your first
Divas title. I was there for your first Mania main event.
I was there for your first WrestleMania, when you won
the Royal Rumble. For the first time you verse Ria
thirty nine. I was there for which I thought was
the best match on the cord that whole weekend. Which
of those moments are any from your career? Would you
have liked for the unreal cameras to be rolling it?

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Maybe the first Royal Rumble because it was so last minute.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
The call for you to win with so last minute.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, it was like I think the decision was done
like maybe two days before.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Oh wow, Yeah, seeing all the things that happened leading
up to that.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yeah, for sure, I think that would have been especially
you know, I had Maine invented Wrestle Maania thirty five
the year before that rumble, and had I not won
that rumble.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
I could have gone from the main event to maybe
not even.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
You know on the show.

Speaker 5 (05:57):
So yeah, that's just to think so.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
And then yeah, and then the idea behind choosing I
was the first talent to choose someone from an XT
and started that trend.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
So it's been interesting to see.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
I think that would have.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Been that that because I'd had a couple of years
under my belt by then.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you knew, you knew more
about yourself the character.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
And then you and Rhea at thirty nine was so fantastic.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
But Charlotte, you are one of the all time greats
I think male female in different there You're gonna be
able to rush more conversations when we have them down
the road with all a sudden done. So I really
appreciate you taking the time. Congrats and all your success.
Keep winning those titles.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
He's waiting seventeen.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Well, hopefully win the tag titles this weekend at Summer Slams.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Yeah yeah, I can't wait to see it. I can't
wait to see it.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
Charlotte.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Thanks so much,
