Old hands are the only ones invested enough to get into discussion boards (failure to assimilate new players into core of deeply-invested players).

Back In My Day

The only way to play was as a subscriber

There was no cartel market

Sprint was only available at level 14

No creature mounts, basic speeders only, Speeder 1 at level 25 - Had to run everywhere until well into Tatooine.

Could not dye gear, and no color sync

No outfit designer, tough to move between sets.

Fights vs key golds were harder (Baras, Thanaton, Sazjin the Hutt)

Mastery was Aim, Cunning, Wisdom and Strength.

No group finder.

Friend I played DA:I with said hey come play this game.  It's based on KOTOR.  I love KOTOR so I said cool.  But I really don't like MMO'S

Started Memorial day weekend 2015 I think. There was a 12 xp event on.  Could be turned off with a crystal. SOR out for a year. Right before 4.0 dropped

Larry Everett did a stream with Redna, Heather from CCR and Vulkk talking about the game.  Through Heather I found my guild.  Great folks great times

4 of us ran KP so I could get the hat

Haven't finished all the planetary story, class stories, datacrons, raids, kaon under siege, lost island, all the quest related speeders (not willing to do EC to get the one)

Don't really have a favorite companion because they are pretty much interchangeable

4.0 was my good old days

Never did planet quests or bonus

The most magical thing that happened near the beginning of the game was the addition of the “sell trash” button. Most people take it for granted but us old foggies didn't have it! We clicked each piece of trash to sell. Haha

I also love that we no longer have planetary comms! I hated having one single Dromund Kaas comm that I could do nothing with. Lol

My things that I do not like are the loss of Trek’s epic heal tanking. She is just as worthless as the rest of my 50 other companions that I can only send 8 at a time out on crew skills. Equally annoying is the fact that HK-51 can no longer use the ability “Assassinate”. No one shotting silvers for me! Some of you may not know this but back in the day these two companions were DA BOMB!

The other change I hate that noobs don't know about is that I can no longer do Ilum dailies. One freaking heroic and that is it. -.- thanks Obama!! JK JK!
