This Halloween Bri & Ber are having a blast from the past and redoing their very first episode, Bloody Mary! They cover the myth, possible candidates for the frightening spirit, and naturally get distracted by random details along the way.
After a long year away Bri & Ber make their triumphant return...UNSUPERVISED. They review the movie No One Gets Out Alive and explore the Aztec deity that inspired some of the lore used in the movie. All the while still getting distracted and somehow also reviewing other shows.
This week Bri & Ber are doing one final spooky episode and will be going on a long hiatus due to normal life stuff. So naturally they are ending on Halloween reviewing a horror movie about religious doubts, demonic possession, and attempts to get out of college loans, The Rite. They go over it's plot, theories on psychological trauma that can cause lack of faith, and of course Anthony Hopkins iconic acting skills.
This week Bri & Ber watch the straight to DVD movie, Population 436. They discuss it's wild plot line, their odd choice of main/hero character, and go over theories as to the town's process about deciding how they keep their number at 436. Sprinkled with some Brendan Fraser love and reliving their emo days.
This week Bri & Ber learn about a banshee like creature from Scottish folklore, the Bean-Nighe! They go over the meaning of her name, how she makes laundry more sinister, and the different rewards you get if you can get the jump on her. All while they reminisce about 90s commercials and song lyrics.
This week Bri & Ber review a Canadian made found footage film, Grave Encounters. As a personal favorite of theirs, they do a deep dive on the plot, discuss the solid special effects and contemplate some elements that could have made the movie better if left out. Sprinkled of course with Austin starting a conversation and then forgetting that he was the one that brought it up.
This week Bri & Ber watch a new horror movie just released this year, The Seventh Day. They go over it's plot, how it compares to almost a detective movie, and go over their theories on who could have truly been the root of the evil happening in this film.
This week Bri & Ber do a multi-topic episode learning about some lesser known doll hauntings. First is the story of Okiku, a doll that is thought to be possessed by the spirit of her deceased owner. Then the ladies discuss the unsettling Doll island, which is said to be covered in dolls to keep a spirit of a girl that drowned near by at bay. They also discuss why gifting children collectable barbies is just ridiculous.
This week Bri & Ber head to England to learn about the interesting case of Bill Ramsey, or as the media called him, the Southend Werewolf. The ladies learn about his first instance of potential possession in his youth, then the repeated episodes as an adult, and how the famous demonologists the Warrens intervened to potential give him a chance at a normal life. With a sprinkling of the creation of a new action movie franchise featu...
This week Bri & Ber make their triumphant return! ...With a mediocre psychological thriller. They discuss the Johnny Depp led film, "The Secret Window". The ladies go over it's plot, how audiences received it, and their personal feelings after watching it. As well as being distracted by Fairly Odd Parents anatomy questions.
This week Bri & Ber are back on their horror movie kick, and they're discussing "The Thirteen Ghosts"! They go over the movie in its entirety, how it differs from other horror movies, and go into detail of each ghost's back story. All the while lamenting how horror movies tend to run painfully short.
This week Bri & Ber discuss a lesser known goddess/nymph in Greek Mythology, Melinoe! They discuss her origins, her rolls as a goddess in the Orphic tales, and her ties with Persephone. With Ber & Bri occasionally pausing to fangirl over Kikyo from the Inuyasha series.
This week Bri & Ber explore the stories behind multiple paintings that are rumored to be haunted. The haunting range from as small as causing bad luck to being the suspected cause of fires in multiple homes. All while Bri & Ber stand by the phrase "If it looks and walks like a duck it's probably a duck" or in Ber's case a Kelpie.
This week Bri & Ber discuss a found footage movie from 2018, The Devil's Doorway. They go over it's plot, their thoughts on the movie's execution, and the background of Magdalene Laundry. As well as getting mildly distracted by the inaccuracy of Disney's Hercules.

This week Bri and Ber head under the sea to learn about one of the worlds most well known mythological creature, the Mermaid! In part one they discuss the origins of the mermaid and go over the different European and Slavic folklore, which cover their kind and not so friendly nature.
This week Bri & Ber discuss a demon known through multiple cultures, Abyzou. They discuss her origins, the many name she goes by, and the multiple ailments she is said to be responsible for.
This week Bri & Ber examine and review another horror movie from the early 2000s, The Descent. The discuss it's phobia inducing scenes, gruesome death scenes, and the ideas behind the creepy creature designs. As well as briefing referencing other horror movies throughout.

They tell their story, going over France's history of sending young women to new colonies, and breaking down why this tale is very much a myth.
