- De Amerikaanse overheid geeft een exportlicentie aan Nvidia en AMD om hun chips te verkopen in China. Daar staat wel wat tegenover: in ruil daarvoor geven de bedrijven 15% van hun omzet van deze verkoop in China aan de Amerikaanse overheid. Het is voor het eerst dat een bedrijf een deel van zijn omzet afstaat in ruil voor zo'n exportlicentie.
- VVD-leider Dilan Yesilgöz heeft haar excuses aangeboden aan Douwe Bob voor de tweet waarin ze hem beschuldigd van jodenhaat. Ze heeft de tweet ook verwijderd. Douwe Bob had vorige week aangekondigd een kort geding te starten tegen Yesilgöz wegens smaad, laster en belediging. Die zaak is nu van de baan.
- De accu's in jouw volgende telefoon of elektrische auto, zouden zo maar eens iets duurder kunnen worden. Want de prijs van Lithium zit in de lift. China heeft namelijk een belangrijke mijn stilgelegd, die goed is voor 6% van de wereldwijde lithiumproductie.
