We're rereading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series of fantasy novels! Why? Because they're so much fun! We recap the events of the story as we go, so you don't have to read along unless you want to. These books are pretty great already, but what we add is a lot of jokes of varying hilarity, and a little insight. We have a great time recording these and we hope you'll have a great time listening. Rand must escape his captivity from the Amyrlin Seat. So he asks Lanfear for help. She helps by blowing up Cairhien. Then Rand, Moiraine, Lan, and Lanfear all team up to go to Falme. Oh yeah, and Moiraine wasn't really stilled, just shielded, and Rand fixes that.

We spend a lot of time watching Moiraine and Verin, neither of whom does much worth mentioning. So forget that sentence. Perrin meets Aviendha, who is pretty cool. Also Nynaeve and Elayne evade the Seanchan, but Egwene does not.

With time growing short, the party turns to the Ways to reach the Eye of the World in time. The Ways are quite nice, if you like pitch blackness and gibbering madness creatures hounding you to death. They do make it to Fal Dara, where they find out just exactly who this Lan guy is.

Their rest doesn't last long, as some Children of the Light arrive and inspire Perrin to turn some white cloaks red. Then Rand and Mat walk themselves into a trap and only escape via some lucky lightning.
