In episode 148, Robs Daniel and Wallis enter the Danger Zone with Top Gun: Maverick. How does this belated (and COVID-delayed) follow-up to the 1986 era-defining movie look? One of the Robs thinks it looks pretty darn good, and accomplishes its mission of providing thrills, spills and an afterburner of 80s nostalgia. The other Rob thinks it hits turbulence in terms of script, those vaunted aerial sequences, and the overall message. But, which Rob is which? And whose (volleyball) team will you be on?

Before feeling the need for speed, the Robs pay tribute to the sadly departed Ray Liotta, who died suddenly aged 66 on May 26th. RIP Ray...
