Whether it’s speaking up in a meeting, advocating for yourself, or sharing your message on a larger stage, the fear of speaking is something that affects 75% of people. But what if speaking didn’t have to feel so terrifying?

In this episode, we’re talking with Linda Ugelow, a speaking confidence and vocal coach, about overcoming the fear of speaking, embracing your voice, and taking up space with confidence. Linda shares how past experiences shape our fears, how to rewire old stories, and why play, creativity, and self-compassion are the keys to unlocking your voice. If you’ve ever felt nervous about speaking—whether at work, on camera, or in personal conversations—this episode is here to shift your mindset and give you practical tools to step into your power.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • Why most speaking fears are rooted in past experiences—and how to uncover yours
  • The impact of childhood conditioning on our ability to use our voices confidently
  • Techniques like emotional freedom tapping (EFT) and self-compassion to clear speaking anxiety
  • How to reframe negative feedback and handle criticism without internalizing it
  • Why play and creativity are essential tools for finding your authentic voice
