On this podcast episode, the founder of HBCU Week, Ashley Christopher, sat down with Todd for her first ever HBCU Grad interview, and detailed being a double HBCU Grad, Proud Howard Grad, Lawyer and founder of HBCU Week. Ashley spoke on surviving a stroke and outlining what it showed her about herself. She spoke very highly of her HBCU journey with highlights of pledging The Alpha chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority while also detailing her process of initially being rejected from Howard University and how she earned admittance. Ashley went on to talk about how she started HBCU Week in 2017 with 500 students and now its two weeks long with one week being held at Disney with multiple HBCU Bands doing a parade at Magic Kingdom.
