Many times when a Christian gets a high-paying job or an elevated position they usually say, "God has blessed me." Which may be true. But what happens 6 months later when difficulties arise and hardships abound? Is it still considered a blessing?
Pain Points are actually more important than the money we're making. Pain Points help reveal what's really in our hearts. They help sharpen us, and we need to learn how to have the Biblical perspective of counting them all joy.
If you get passed over for a promotion, if your work goes unnoticed, how content are you? What are you focused on more, opportunities to share your faith where you're at, or the amount of money you will receive?
It's okay for Christians to want more, but we need to make sure we're demonstrating our faith in our business more than we're working to build our own kingdom.
