That's it - that's a wrap on the 2018/2019 New York Islanders season. The Islanders swept the Penguins in Round 1, only to be swept by Carolina in Round 2. But this isn't exactly how we pictured the Islanders season, as we've said over the past few episodes, it's not how we expected any of this really. From start to finish this season has been a fun one. From Barry Trotz to Robin Lehner and everything in between. That in between includes the latter as a finalist for many awards and the former a finalist for Coach of the Year. Accolades aside, the Islanders had a successful season, even if the outcome wasn't where we all had liked. In Episode 35, I talk about everything that's transpired in the second round, touch upon the playoffs as a whole and even talk about the entire season in summary. I also go into what we can expect with some pending unrestricted free agents, restricted free agents and the upcoming free agent pool. If that's not enough, I talk about the podcast season and what's to come. I mentioned the Walk that Super Jack's Mom, Lauren is setting up - you can donate to that by clicking here! Speaking of donations, did you know you can donate to the show? You can help keep the lights on, or just buy me a beer. Click here to donate! I will be updating regularly as things happen, which we should have plenty of to talk about if my experience has told me anything. Talk to you then!
