Speaker 1 (03:04):
Oh yes, for sure, yes, yes, So of course we
have to.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Chat about the new album, which I love. You share
your renditions of so many favorites that I grew up
listening to and I know so many loves. So the
album's called Songs I Missed. Can you tell us about
this album for those who have not heard about it yet.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Well, I went back in the studio and recorded. Over
the years of Whitey Schaeffer wrote a lot of my songs,
and so we had so many of them coming in.
I passed them some of them, some of the Texas
song because I'm doing a lot of Texas stuff anyway,
and I passed on these songs. Well, about ten years later,
(03:46):
George Strait come along and cut them and had monster hits,
earned several of them.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
So I.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Went back and recorded these songs that I passed. And
then while I was in there, I cut a lot
of my old standard favorites that I used to sing
when I played the bars back in Texas for I
had a record. So really had a good time some
of my favorite songs.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yes mine too. Was it challenging picking and choosing which
songs to put on the album, because I'm sure there
was a lot that you could that you could have
put on the album, you.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yes, it was.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
I mean, there was just tons of songs that I
love and I just had to pick it down to
these and it was just fun playing those songs again.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
And we just had fun in the studio.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Oh, I'm sure you did. And you worked with so
many incredible people in the studio, you know, including you know,
the produce. It was produced by the late Jimmy Capps,
which is incredible.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Tell us about that, well, Jimmy.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
It did about my last four albums he produced, and
he was my dear friend. We lost Jimmy and we
also after Jimmy passed, we went in and and recorded
a gospel album and uh with but Michelle Caps his wife,
(05:11):
and I produced it and so but Jimmy had so
much to do with all my records and not only
produced them, but playing on them, you know, And it
was just a thrill. And this is probably the songs
I miss is probably is the last album that he
did with me, and so it's very special.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
It's very special. That's incredible. And for people who want
to check it out, it's on Spotify. It's all. It's
all over the place where you find your music. Are
there any hard copies yet or will there be by
any chance?
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (05:45):
Not yet, but we're going to. You know, now, you
drop songs. If I drop one, I might break it.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
You might, you know, So we drop them. We dropped it.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Yeah, we dropped it. It is, it is, It has
been dropped. I'm so excited about it too. It's doing
so well so far, and I absolutely just love like
I said, you know, growing up, I listened to all
of these songs. I love them all so much, and
you just did them so much justice there. It's just incredible.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
I have to say, well, thank you.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
I took my band in, my band, my road band,
and I took them in and so I blended my
band with the session players and we just had a
ball doing that.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Oh I'm sure, I'm sure so much fun. I love
I love that. That's the best part about music is
having fun with with with your band, your friends. You know,
it's it's just always it's it's the coolest experience ever.
And you know, over the years, I have to say,
You've had so many incredible experiences, released so many songs
that fans love to this day. Is there a career
(06:51):
highlight moment that you can recall.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Well, there's so many.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
I you know, I had the opportunity, of course to
go in the Grand ol Op back in seventy five
was and uh I should know that, you know, but uh,
I had the opportunity of going to Grand Old Opera
and looking the wings and there you know, it was
Ernest tub and Roy Acuff and far and Young and
(07:16):
all these great people that were there, and I was
the young guy coming in right.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
And so that was one of the biggest thrills in
my life.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
I'm sure. Wow, that's incredible. How many people could say
that they uh that that happened in their life for sure?
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Well, that was uh, that was the opportunity people. You know,
I'm sure I'm telling my age here. But I had
the opportunity to do some shows with Ernest Tubb and
several of the real greats that were my heroes, and
I had that opportunity, and so that's that's so I'll
(07:56):
never forget it.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
And I do want to say, you have some shows
coming up, the fans can check out and then they
can check out where you're playing on your website mo
bandy dot com, so everyone can do that. Is there
a song that really gets the crowd going? What is
that one song that you know is going to get people.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Usually Bandy the Rodeo clown sing along with me? And
this is the fiftieth year anniversary of that song. I
record it when I was two years old, saying, but
it's the actually the fiftieth year anniversary of that song.
And that's the one I get a lot of credit
until I'm too old. That I young is one that
(08:36):
I get a lot of recourse for all songs.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Still getting such traction to this day. People still know it,
they're playing it for their kids now. It's just generational,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
I know it's amazing and I'm singeing it a lot
of my shows.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
The younger people singing every word in the kids and
everybody of course, the kids were always attracted to that
song because it's about a clown, right, so the kids
always loved that song.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Absolutely. How fun is it? That's pretty cool looking out
in the crowd and seeing kids with their parents and
you know, dancing along.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
To your music.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
That's a great feeling, sure is.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
And I wanted to ask because you know, of course
you worked with all the you know, you work with
so many greats.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Well, there's a bunch of them.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
There's a guy named Zach Topp who is very good
and I just met him recently, and yeah, I guess
we need to cut a do out.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
That's what I need to do.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
We do you do? You do you really do?
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Because I think that would be I think that would
be incredible. Yeah, for sure, absolutely I love that. And
for those who want to check out all of your music,
it's all on Spotify, like I said, and all of
your albums really are and What's really Neat is also
on the website mobandy dot com. All of your past
albums are all on the website as well. So if
you want a hard copy, which I do, I always
(10:00):
love a hard copy, you can get those as well.
The whole merch section everything which is really really nice.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Also, we have a I have my own app. You know,
not many people have their own app. No, and it's
mo Bandy app. It's free app on if you've got
a smartphone. And now my phone's a smart alec a smartphone.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
Yeah, right, right right, look about technology. You are in
the technology that is pretty neat.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
I know I'm right in the middle of it.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
You really are.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
You're right in the middle. Not a whole lot, but
I'm in there some, I guess.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
Yes.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
Absolutely, You're on social media as well, so you are
definitely in it. You know, you're on Facebook and all
of those all of those other great sites, so people
can keep up.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
With what you're doing.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Yes, well, sure, yes, yes. And are you working on
any other projects that you could tell us about? What
are you doing of late? Can you tell us?
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Well, I'm just touring. Uh, we're out touring and promoting
this album.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
And uh, I wrote a book called Lucky Me, and
we've been we've had the book has been one of
the big successes I've done. We've so we're in the
third printing right now, and uh, I've got uh it's
called Lucky Me, and we've we've been promoting that a
(11:25):
bunch too.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
That is so cool now a people can say that
they've done a book. I mean, was that something you
always wanted to do, is write a book? Or did
it kind of just come the opportunity out of nowhere?
Speaker 4 (11:36):
A guy named Scott England who has written several books,
uh for the artist. He came to me and, uh,
talk to me about it, and we've got together and
spent a lot of time and uh he's a dear friend.
So we was talking amongst friends there and wrote a book.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
That's incredible.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
We know, Scott.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Good.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
That's awesome.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
Yeah, he's done so many great books for like William Lee,
Golden t. Grim Brown. That's awesome.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
I love it, love it.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Yes, Oh, then you know it's good. You know it's good.
He's incredible and I hope everyone checks it out.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
It's called Lucky Me, Lucky Me. I love that. I
love that.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Is there anything still? You know, you've had such an
incredible career and you've done so many different things. Is
there anything that you would love to still do? I mean,
because you've even done a book, So is there anything
that you would love to still pursue?
Speaker 4 (12:31):
I guess well, I've done so many things, and I'm
very very grateful for the things I've done, and whatever
comes up, well, I'm sure it'll be good.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
But I'm kind of touring and enjoying what I've done
in the past.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
Absolutely absolutely when doing any shows, have you ever had
any sort of embarrassing on stage moment that you could recall,
anything that just did not go as planned?
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Uh? Well, I don't have to think about that one,
but not really that I would want to expose. I
guess right, you want to.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
I hear you, I hear you.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Oh, I'll tell you.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
I'll tell you when. Okay, I did. I did a
show and I had the haiccups. Oh, and I couldn't
get rid of them. And I went on stage and
I did about three songs and it was funny, and
I finally had to cancel the show and I rebooked
it and went back when I didn't. But that was
one of the weird moments, trying to sing with the
(13:40):
hack cups.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
See that's see, that's interesting.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yes, it did.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Yeah, that must have been interesting to uh handle, And
I wish I was in the audience for it, because
that sounds like funny.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Oh God, I sing a line, and all of a sudden,
here it comes right in the middle of a sentence.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
You know, right right, listen will do what the body
will do. You can't help it. But the thing you're
a schedule and do it again, yeah, right, right, right right.
I love that. I love that, And I wanted to
also ask do you have any really cool fan moments
that you could recall, anything that happened when when meeting
a fan? What have your fan experiences been?
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Like, They're just great, and they're just while I'm here,
and so I do every show.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
After the show, I'll sign autographs and meet with them,
and it's just kept my career alive all this time.
But I've had all kinds of stuff happened. But you know,
I really love the fans.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Yes, and the fans love you too. After all these years,
you know, You've had so many great experiences, so many
great fans that has followed you throughout your career, and
like I said, even new ones generational, which is pretty neat.
And I just can't wait to see what is next
for you. You you are Tora and you are still
doing your thing, and I'm so excited about that. And
(15:03):
I hope everyone goes to your website, mo bandy dot
com checks out where you're going to be next. What's
your next show? Can you tell us?
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Uh, Well, I'm going to Kansas.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
I'm doing a couple of shows Kansas, Nixll a couple
of weeks, and I've got some dates in Texas and
just all over everywhere. But I'm being uh, I'm Maleen
Kansas on the third and whichitel Kansas on the fifth
of July, Kurt, So I'm going there. And then I've
(15:38):
got all kinds of dates in Texas. I got one
in New Mexico and all around. So I'm just touring.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
That's pretty neat and one of the fun one of
the fun parts I'm sure about. You know, in music,
you're able to travel, like you said, you know in
New Mexico. I'm sure you've been all over the world
at this point. So I'm sure that's just such a
you know, really cool highlight.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
I still enjoyed traveling.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
I do.
Speaker 4 (16:04):
I'm not I don't do it as much as I
used to, not near what I used to, but I'll
still enjoy it.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Yes, I think that's just so so neat and I
hope everyone goes and checks out your performances, check out
songs I missed right now, everybody on Spotify all over
the place, go and check it out and also share
it with your friends and family. And I want to
thank you so much for joining me. It was just
so wonderful checking out you know everything that you have
(16:33):
got you have going on, and I hope you come back.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Well. I appruciate a lot and I enjoyed talking.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
With you, but oh, it was a pleasure. Please come
back anytime you have anything to promote. It was such
a pleasure talking to you. My husband and I are
big fans, so I've been really looking forward to this interview.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Thank you so much. I'm telling him, I said, hello,
I definitely will.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
Thank you so much. Mo Bandy, everybody please welcome to
the Josie Show. My friend and Jet Jurgensmeier.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Hello, how's it going. I'm glad to be back.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
Oh I'm always so excited when you're back. I'm just
I've been looking forward to this, so thank you so
much for doing a little catch up sash with me.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Of course, of course, I'm glad we could make it work.
We've been doing this for so long now, it's almost
like a family reunion. Every time we get back.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
On a call, it is, it really is. And you
always have something new, you know.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
I got to stay busy, you do.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
You keep so busy, which is so great. And I'm
just so excited for you because you have a new
single that's doing so well right now titled Red Yes.
Tell us a little bit about the inspiration behind this one.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Of course. So I don't know if people know this
about me, they might not. I am a huge Cody
Johnson fan. I've seen him in concert back when he
was opening for Marinda Lambert at Bridgestone, and then I
have seen him twice headlining at Bridgestone. So I'm a
huge Kojo fan. And he's got his song Human, Uh
that was really kind of the same idea of Red.
(18:04):
You know, we're all human and and I remember just
feeling like he's saying everything at his shows and in
his music that that I feel and that I believe,
and that I say it my shows. I want my own,
my own version of of that, because I want to
show people, uh, not just who Jet Jergensmyra is, but
who Jet is and what what Jet believes. And so
(18:26):
I was going in I was driving to my right
with uh my two friends, Eric Olatza and Kaylee Clark,
and I was like, I don't I don't know. I
kind of had this melody maybe I had. I had
the one single title Red, and I was like, there's
something there. You know, there's red dirt, everybody bleeds red.
There's there's something that we can we can kind of
(18:47):
play around with. I'm not smart enough to do it
by myself, but I'll bring it to.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
These girls, and uh, funny, we brought it.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
I brought it to them and we started writing it.
They really liked it, and it kind of fell out
on the page like it kind of wrote itself, if
that makes sense, which was really cool to see because
I thought it'd be I thought it'd be one of
those where we're sitting there scratching our heads trying to
think of ways to play with the title. But instead
it was like God knew what the message needed to
(19:17):
be with it, and it was just was there. So
we wrote it. I sat with it and I wasn't
sure if I was going to record it. It was
kind of gonna be one of those out you know,
we'll do a demo and pitch it and you know,
who knows somebody might cut it. The more I played
it at rounds and stuff, I just kind of fell
in love with it and I was like, all right,
I kind of want to be greedy for a change
and record this. And now it's, you know, my fastest
(19:41):
growing song, and it's doing everything I never imagined it would.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Absolutely, it has such a great message to it, which
is why I think people love it. I mean they love,
you know, songs that have such a great message to it,
and this Bed Boys like so frigishly close to three
hundred k streams right now on Spotify.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Is it's so close, We're like, like not even two
thousand away, Like it's ridiculously close just on Spotify too,
so on everything altogether, I think we're either close or
over five hundred thousand streams, which is really really crazy.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
Mind blown. I mean it deserves it, but mind blown.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
That is so cool. That's so neat.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Yes, congratulation, that's amazing, and please everyone's stream share, then
stream some more, all the things, all of the things.
It's just such an incredible song, like all of your
other songs. I mean, you know, have there been any
discussions on perhaps maybe like an album or EP on
the Horizon because I know you released Midwest Sunset and
(20:39):
then Going Next and now Red. I just feel like
you're on a roll, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Yes, so there is there is discussion of it behind
the scenes. You know, we're we're in the process of
trying to decide if I should do a full, you know,
twelve song album, or if I take this other song
that we have recorded that we recorded when we did
Red that isn't out anywhere yet, right we take you know,
(21:06):
Going Next, Midwest Sunset, we take Red, We take this
other one and maybe two more that I'm really really
trying to record within the next month and maybe just
put a little EP out there and kind of you know,
these songs are slightly different than everything else I've recorded.
They're kind of back to my roots. We've got fiddle
on there. I'm really kind of talking about how I
(21:26):
grew up, and so I think it might be kind
of neat to test the waters with an EP and
see if people kind of like seeing this side of me,
and then maybe twenty twenty six, twenty twenty seven, that's
when we do a full album. So we're kind of
trying to decide right now and play around with ideas.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
For sure, you have plenty of time. We're just happy
for the new music, trust me. But in the meantime,
you know, we're of course going to be streaming all
of your great music that you have out on all
of the platforms that are out there. You could hear
all of the music, honestly, which is so nice. So
if you want to go on a binge, a jet binge,
please please, that'd be awesome, right, yes, and please please
(22:06):
tell your friends as well. But I have to ask,
you know, I feel like I always ask this, but
have you ever you know, have you been working on
anything like on the acting side that you could tell
us about or are you solely focusing on music at
the moment.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
You know, at the moment, I feel like God's really
pushing music in my way and making that kind of
my journey, and I'm embracing it. You know, when auditions
come around, I'll still throw an audition out there, I'll
still do stuff like that voiceover work from home. But
everything comes in waves, and I think right now, I'm
I'm really just supposed to be focusing on the music scene,
(22:40):
and so far it's working. You know, we've been able
to just start the summer by traveling everywhere from South
Carolina to here in Tennessee. Will be in Idaho next month,
will be in between Idaho and like Iowa, I think
in between there. So we're gonna be all over the place.
So it's working.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
Yes, follow your horror, follow where the music takes you.
Because you're just such an incredible artist, you really are.
And I just love everything that you have put out
and you continue to put out. Everything just has such
a great message to it. I just feel like, you know,
music is just doing so so well for you, and
I'm just so glad that you're following what you love
to do, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
Yes, and you mentioned some shows that you have and
some you know, live appearances that are coming up, and
I hope everyone goes to your website as well. Can
you share your website and also your social networking sites
for us?
Speaker 1 (23:33):
Of course? So literally everything. I'll keep it super simple
for y'all. It's my name, Jet Jurgensmeyer, Jet with one
T like a plane. Fun way to remember it and Jurgensmeyer,
like I always say, have fun with it. Do your
best at spelling it. If you type in Jet and
then a jay. I'm typically the only one that comes up,
and that's my website. That's my social media everything from
(23:53):
x to TikTok to Instagram, Facebook, you name it.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
Perfect check them out everybody so you can see what
is next I have. I love getting the updates. Your
mom is just such an amazing supporter of yours, and
she really is, and like she'll like send me like
a new song of yours and I'm like, yes, here
we go, here we go, and so and so. You know,
when I listen to it, I just I'm blown away
every single time. And you know, you have such a
(24:17):
great supportive family, and I'm sure that's helped you, you know,
on your on your journey. I'm sure.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Of course. There's nothing like having people that you can
count on. And I also have been very fortunate. You know,
you can be blood related to people, but I think
you select your family. And I've found my friend group
as well that's always there for me. And I know
that if everything went away tomorrow, you know, they'd still
be there for me. And that's really really important to me.
So my family, my friends, they're they're my rock, they're
(24:46):
my foundation, and uh, they're always there. When I need them.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Absolutely absolutely, And I'm sure you made so many great
friends you know at school as well that are very
like minded individuals, you know, really because it was Belmont, right,
it's Bellmont.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
Yes, Yes, I'm going to Belmont about to start what
I say about in August, I'll be going into junior year.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Nice, Oh my goodness, that's so so exciting. Well see,
I think that's such a great opportunity for people, you know,
to go to school learn the craft, and you know,
also you get to learn, you know, you meet new people,
and I'm sure you're able to write with you know
people as well.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Oh yeah, yeah's some really close friends at Belmont.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Yeah, I think I think that's so important. And are
you studying kind of like the business side and everything
as well.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
So I kind of throw people for a loop when
I say this. I'm a lad studies major. I'm pre low.
My minor is music business though, so I think I
like to make the joke that I won't get screwed
out of a contract. So that's kind of that's kind
of the idea that that came from.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Listen, that's a good thing to know. Okay, trust me,
I've seen a lot of problems with people with contracts
and and that's that's so important. Really.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
Oh yeah, absolutely, I know we both have and I
was like, you know what, I'm gonna be a little
bit different. I don't want that to be my story.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
No, absolutely, absolutely, I recommend everybody learning that. That's awesome.
I'm so glad you do. You're doing that, and you're
very welcome. You're very welcome. And what's next on the horizon.
I know that you you, like you said, you have
some other songs that you you know, haven't haven't recorded yet,
so those are probably you know, definitely coming and in
the works. So yeah, anything else going on in your
(26:26):
life that you could tell us about?
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Songwriting?
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Yeah, songwriting is like crazy, uh, writing multiple times a week.
The tour is really going to be cool. We're everywhere,
you know. I just named a couple of dates, but
they're constantly getting added and updated and changed. So if
people want to go to my socials, you'll see me
posting about on my website. There's a little tour drop
down you can see where I'll be playing, and who knows,
(26:51):
you might be coming to one of your all's hometowns.
And that's just that's that's what is kind of up
and coming for me, is this summer. We're trying to
kind of hit it hard with the band.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Yes, I love it.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
Can you give a shout out to your band by
the way, because you have such a great team behind you.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
I do.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
So.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
We've kind of got our core group of guys that
have been playing for me now pretty consistently with Interstan
on the drums, got Daniel on the electric and we've
got my boy Dylan on the bass, and then also
one of my best friends in the whole world, Jack,
He plays guitar for me whenever he can as well,
and we just like to have a good time. All
these guys are guys that are really like within a
couple of years of my age. We're all kind of
around twenty twenty two, I think is as old as
(27:31):
we get. And we just like to have fun because
we're all young musicians that love music and love performing
on stage and kind of you know, love what we
are blessed enough to be able to do for a living.
So we like to have fun on stage and we
have a good time.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
Oh good, that's what it's all about, trust me, that's
what it's all about and is there a venue that
you guys haven't played that you would love to Is
there like a dream venue for you?
Speaker 1 (27:55):
The Ryman Auditorium.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
All that is you don't even have to think about it.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
See, my career could end tomorrow, but if I got
to like mark off all my like hometown venues in Nashville,
I would be happy. And I love the grand Ole Opry.
I can't wait till the first time I get to
step into that circle. But the Rhymen Auditorium was the
grand Ole operation. Yeah, so like I I would love, love,
(28:22):
love to be able to check the Rhymen off of
my bucket list, and I could die a happy man.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
Yes, goosebumps even just thinking about it. You know, I
would be there like front row like screen of course,
not even joking. Oh my gosh, that would be so
that would be so insane. And I could see it happening.
I really can, because you're just doing so many incredible things,
and you're persistent with your music, you know, and consistent
I should say. You know you're you constantly are putting
(28:48):
new material. You know, you're not letting it kind of
like die down at all, you know, which is that's.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
On key You've got. You've got to keep people interested
because people are going about their lives and they're growing
and they're changing, and if you wait, you know, a
year and a half to drop something, they don't know
what's going on in your life in that year and
a half. So as I grow and change, I want
to keep writing and keep writing about what I'm doing,
what I'm thinking, what I'm feeling, and then keep putting
that out there for him to see.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
Oh for sure, I love that. And you know what's
really cool about your music is I think that it
could be relatable to just pretty much anybody, you know
what I mean, which is really nice. But then also
you talk to your generation as well, you know what
I mean, So it's kind of like going.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
One, Yeah, I love that you said that. That's always
been my goal And I don't know if you and
I've ever talked about this, but I talk about it
as much as I can. My goal with music is
to write the most relatable music because I'm just a
normal dude that gets to write songs for a living.
So if I'm just a normal guy, then every normal
guy in gal that's out there, which is everybody, No
(29:50):
matter what you think of yourself, you're normal just like
the rest of us. Yes, I get to write about
what I'm going through and at least one person out
there can feel a little bit less alone to know
that they're not the only person that's going through that.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Absolutely, Absolutely, that's what it's about. I think I think
you succeed in that. I'm just saying I think you're
little biased because we just love you. But it's true,
you're doing it. You're very welcome, You're very welcome, and
I can't wait to see what is next for you.
Please let me know when you have any new music
coming out so we can have you back on. Like
I feel like I tell you this every time, but
(30:24):
it's like my excuse to get you back on. Of
course a heartbeat, perfect, perfect, And I want to thank
you so so much for joining me. And before you
go one last time, can you please give out your
website for everybody.
Speaker 1 (30:40):

Speaker 3 (30:42):

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Thank you so much for having me. I can't wait
to see y'all in person next time.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
Yes, you know it, you know it.
