Our returning special guest this week is John Wing, a Canadian stand-up comedian, podcaster and author who also has opinions on Detroit and Toronto sports. John has appeared on The Tonight Show and America's Got Talent, written several books and hosts a podcast called The Bad Piano Player, which is an exploration of American popular music from 1900 to 1960.
In the second half of the show we discuss the Detroit Lions surging to the top of the NFC behind MVP level play from Jared Goff and despite a season ending injury to Aiden Hutchnison, the Detroit Red Wings struggles to start the season, and the Detroit Tigers stunning playoff run and and how they could build a 2025 team that wins with a more sustainable style of play.
