This week Eastern Michigan University Eagles head football coach Chris Creighton joins the show to discuss all things EMU and MAC  football. 

Coach talks about building his team for the 2025 season, spring practice and the spring game, and how college football has changed in the era of the transfer portal and NIL.

Shaq embarrassed himself by showing just how little he knows or cares about the best story in the NBA, the Detroit Pistons. His cavalier attitude wouldn't fly from a comparable NFL, MLB, or NHL analyst. But in the NBA, ignorance is damn near expected from their most influential talking heads.

JB Bickerstaff went HAM on NBA refereeing after a close Pistons loss to the OKC Thunder.

The Michigan Wolverines and MSU Spartans advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament. 

The tournament became beloved (and made the NCAA wealthy) thanks to underdog Cinderella teams making deep runs. But this year, only power conference (SEC, B1G, Big 12, ACC) schools made it out of the first weekend. In the era of NIL, will this be the new normal? Will this bode ill for the future of the NCAAs?

The Detroit Tigers signed OF Manuel Margot to help plug their Parker Meadows-sized hole in center. 

Kirk Gibson announced he's stepping away from the Tigers TV booth to concentrate on fighting Parkinson's. Meanwhile, Matt Shepard, the long-ago fired play-by-play man, claimed it wasn't Gibson's call and he was forced out. 

The Detroit Lions spent most of free agency bringing the band back together, only making a couple of notable signings in CB DJDJ Reed and NT Roy Lopez.

Going by past actions, Lions' GM Brad Holmes will likely attack the lack of a pass rush and an aging offensive line in the draft. Holmes has more than earned the benefit of the doubt.
