Streaming-audio giant Spotify recently shelled out USD$337 million to acquire Gimlet Media, the maker of Reply All and other popular shows, and Anchor, the company behind an app that allows anyone to easily create their own podcasts.

And the company is not done — Spotify says it has other podcast acquisitions in mind and that it expects to spend up to $500 million on deals this year. With these deals, Spotify is now fully in the podcast content creation business, a move it has interestingly yet to make with music.

In this episode, we talk about Spotify and their bold ambition to take over the podcasting world. Is it a good time to get into podcasting now?

Ling & Raven, both established and seasoned podcasters, will help answer your questions about podcasts and podcasting. So you don't have to wade through mountains of content to find what works for you and your podcast show.
