On this episode, I sat down with former NBA player & activist Mahmoud Abdul Rauf. Mahmoud was the 3rd pick in the 1990 NBA Draft. We start the interview off by discussing his college recruitment process. Then we move on to Mahmoud’s thoughts on the NCAA (8:45). Of course, we had to discuss his decision to sit during the national anthem (14:30) and his thoughts on Colin Kaepernick. Mahmoud shares his mindset on playing against the top players in the league (18:55), scoring 32 vs MJ & the Bulls (22:00) and Kevin Durant joining the Warriors (26:25). Finally, we close out the interview with Mahmoud’s thoughts on having the courage to be an activist. You can follow Mahmoud on Instagram at @mahmoudar123.
