(00:00):
Hello, killing Nash. Hey,what's happening? Getting ready for Friday?
Okay, hopefully we get back heretomorrow morning. We'll be celebrating the first
of the game Cocks victory over Tennessee. Oh, wouldn't that be lovely?
The chant clear is getting ready toplay, Marshall. That first pitch is
at six, and there's the weatherlooking good out there. I think it's
a little dicey down near the coast. Okay, anyway, um, and

(00:24):
then Clemson Tigers play. Gosh,I knew this, but it's been five
six hours ago. When I lookedit up, I forgot looking up.
We got a lot of Tiger fansand Tigers baseball is on fire. Yeah,
we hope Up put that out soon. I'm just hoping that they continue
to be able to fire on thegame. Cocks regained their footing, brother,

(00:45):
Yeah, we gotta well. Itseems like the injuries are starting to
get behind us now, So hopefullywe'll be good for this weekend, but
even better when we get into theSEC and then the postseason. Here.
Let's see. So if I goto the Clemson baseball schedule schedule, they
are playing Thursday, the eighteenth athome against the North Carolina tar that's right.

(01:06):
They're at home this weekend against theTar Heels. Yep, and they've
got six o'clock, six o'clock, one o'clock start. On Saturday. Gamecocks
are seven o'clock, seven o'clock, two o'clock. Okay, all right,
let's talk about what we've been talkingabout tomorrow morning. Well, Jonathan,
it's one of the most iconic thingsin American history. It's been around since

(01:29):
the nineteen thirties. I'm talking aboutthe Wienermobile. I just saw the wienermobile
in Ermo. Yeah, probably threeweeks ago. I saw it. Did
you ever have a Wienermobile? Youhad a little wienermobile whistle when you were
a kid? No, I haveone of those? You did? Yeah?
I bet you looked like a cutelittle kid running around with your Wiener

(01:49):
and to keep in your pocket.Brother, I wish the Hot Wheels.
Hot Wheels, to my knowledge, never came out with a Wienermobile, and
they should have. Oh, thatwould have been fun. I bet you
know something. I bet they did, and I just didn't get in on
it. Well, it's according toOscar Meyer, they have announced that they
are killing off the wienermobile. Thelast time I saw it, it was

(02:14):
in the drive through at Chick filA. Yeah, it's now going to
be called the Frank Mobile. Oh. They say this will pay homage to
their new hotdog recipe that they're goingto roll out this summer. And I'll
ask a permanent name change. OscarMyer said, it's quote trying to see

(02:36):
if it will cut the mustard withfans. It's never gonna break through.
The Wienermobile will always be the Wienermobile. And that's and I not only said
that, I said USC was neverU of SC. Nope, Weight Watchers
is still Weight Watchers. It's wwright, Duncan is still Dunkin' don't.

(02:58):
KFC was KF see before Kentucky FriedChicken decided the change at the KFC.
But it wasn't because we didn't wantto say the word fried because it would
somehow turn our stomachs away from thatgoodness. It's just that we're too lazy
to say Kentucky Fried Chicken. Wejust called it by the acronym. Yeah,
Mickey, it's still Mickey. D'salways Pearl Milling Company. Can you

(03:20):
even tell me what Pearl Milling Companyis? You know? And that was
the one that really just I meanwhen you when you got rid of Aunt
Jemima, You're now hoping we rememberthe shape of your logo, because where
Aunt Jemima was is now like ameal or a little little pearl milling company.
What do you call the paddle wheel, It's called it's the it's the

(03:43):
milling company. And I'm like, you guys should have come up with something
better. I can come up witha hard nope on all of those.
And I'm going to add the Wienermobileto that. I just call it AJ's
AJ's and get another face and putit on there. I'm still calling it
an Jemimah me too. It's alwaysgonna be an Jemima to me. And
I buy it because it's Aunt Jemimah. I love den't Jemimah. That was

(04:08):
good stuff. Did Missus Butterworth changeor is that no? She's still She's
still Missus Butter's Worth? All right? Good good, Let's hang on to
that. Make her overweight, makethe jar bigger. Oh did they get
rid of Uncle Ben's rice? Oh? Yeah, uncle Ben's gone. And
I remember when we were talking aboutthat. Uncle Ben was like a former

(04:28):
slave who then rose to be likeone of Chicago's finest cooks and had like
a five star restaurant, and thiswas an homage to the possibilities of America.
And they're like, screw it,we're not gonna call it Uncle Ben
now because he was a slave once. What I take it back, Uncle
Ben's is still in the market. It came back after I said he's gone.
That was just a regurgitated answer ofa political correctness. But I do

(04:54):
buy Uncle Ben's rice all the timeby particularly like the wild rice okay,
good, and the Spanish rice.I'm not big on the buttering garlic okay,
although I'm sure many people like it. It's certainly available. We'll see
if there's other companies out there thatyou're just not acknowledging. You're just I'm
not. I'm still calling them whatthey were. I mean, we're on

(05:15):
the podcast, so I mean maybe, Oh, whoa, whoa, what's
happening? Yeah, I was lookingat No, it's no longer Uncle Ben's,
okay, And I'll read from thepages of the Internet, the pages
of the Internet rice brand. UncleBen's changed its name and logo because of
racist connotations. The Uncle Ben's Ricebrand is getting a new name, Ben's

(05:39):
original. It's right, it's nowBen's original. I still buy Ben's original,
but I call it Uncle Ben's.And Sally says, we need some
Uncle Ben's. I said, great, you want the What do we get
in the wild rice? Yes?Of course, of course would in the
cast roll the chicken casserole. Igotta use Uncle Ben's wild rice. Uncle
Ben would love it. Well,we'll see what other companies are out there

(06:01):
that you're not going along with thecompany. I mean, remember there was
a brief period where they thought aboutchanging Facebook to Meta. Now they just
named the parent company Meta, butthey were actually trying to think of going
full Meta for the company. Thatdidn't work. Google changed their name to
their parent company from Google to Alphabet, but nobody's calling it at Alphabet.

(06:26):
If you're investing in Google, you'reinvesting in Google, not Alphabet. There's
all these types of companies out there. So, Johnathan, there's also a
story here that you and I weretalking about hot button reasons that college is
overrated. So unfortunately, for youpeople who are graduating right now, this
story not applicable to your life. But for those of you maybe you have

(06:50):
kids, grandkids thinking about going somethingto consider. It's just had a lot
of graduates. They probably got uponreflection of the past week. Was it
a good investment? Well, accordingto the internet, and I'm quoting the
internet now, yes, the Internetsays bad investment. The typical student will
graduate with three hundred thousand dollars instudent debt now which you can't make up,

(07:16):
meaning you'll pay it off, butyou can't make up for two reasons.
One, the just the amount ofmoney will never pay for itself.
Your increase in salary will not justifythe three hundred thousand dollars. And the
lost years of working is hot buttonnumber two. Those four years of working,
even at a bare minimum type ofjob, would have put you hundreds

(07:39):
of thousands of dollars ahead of acollege graduate. And I like this one
number four. Not going to collegeactually equals early retirement. Wow, for
most people. Most people retire earlydid not go to college. And that's
not even factoring in the rising tuitionthe ones that have been exploding the last

(08:01):
fifteen years or so. Sure, back when we went to college or would
have gone to college, because wedidn't, but we would have paid even
using today's dollars, it would havebeen about half of what it is.
That's day's dollars. So anyway,we'll see if people agree with that I
take, or if they're still ofthe mindset that, you know, you

(08:24):
want to be a millionaire, youbetter go to college. Other things that
we got coming out. What arethe summer movies that you're excited about,
Jonathan? You're seeing anything out therethat's coming out. Did you want to
see the new Indiana Jones movie? You do? Okay? Somebody mentioned that
they were going to go it wasalready out now, the new Galaxy U

(08:45):
what is it? Something of theGalaxy movie? It's Guardians of the Galaxy
that's just coming out like right now. Yep, yep, they were going
last weekend to see it. IndianaJones five, Mission Impossible. This is
not Mission Impossible late, this isMission I Possible seven. Well, it's
not got the number in it.Oh, according to this all and things
get really exciting in July with thehighly anticipated debuts of Oppenheimer Mission Impossible seven,

(09:11):
Barbie, and then August brings outthe teenage mutant Ninja Turtles and introduces
a new DC superhero, Blue Beetle. Okay, So either or there's a
bunch of movies coming out. Idon't know. Is movie Mission impossible?
Certainly on the list is movies. It seems like the luster is off it

(09:33):
is on the movies, and Ihate It's such a thing. Yeah,
I hate it because I love goingto the theater and we don't go as
much. Is it not better though? For people like you who like to
go to the theater that they're notcrowded. It is a welcome relief that
it's not crowded. Now. Ido like to go to the new theaters
where you buy your seat in theband, so it's going to be fewer

(09:54):
people in the actual theater and youget your full seat with a recliner and
all that stuff. Oh you gotdo we have the recliners around town?
Where's that? Two different places? The one at Sandteels there's a recliners in
there. I didn't know I've beento I went to see those. Or
is it the one that Dutch Forwardhas the big recliners? I mean Dutch
Dutch Square Dutch. Is that theone that's like right up the street from

(10:16):
here. Yeah, that's a kindof like a bad mall, isn't it.
It hasn't had the greatest reputation oflate Okay, well, and there's
like a Planet Fitness in that case, yeah, which took over like half
the mall now or whatever. Andokay, yeah when you go on,
Yeah, it did charge you likethree dollars more per seed. Maybe totally

(10:37):
worth it, Yeah, totally where. I love those recliner seat things,
and I also like it just tofeel fancy. Do they do they have?
They don't have the people who comeand take your order there, do
they No? But I've been toone of those. I've been one of
those in Nashville. I went toone in Virginia somewhere, and I just
thought that was awesome. That's greatbasically laying in a battle with the emergency

(10:58):
button and then you come on overand like, would you like a gourmet
burger that's way overpriced? Sure,I'll take one of those and your gourmet
steak fries and just through the wordgourmet in front of the sodas it's a
gourmet coke. That's great. Well, we'll see, if you know.
I'm searching my memory now, Ibelieve that Dutch Square one has the recliner,

(11:20):
but the other one has a largerseat. But I don't think they're
reclining the one out at um sandHills. Well, I do like it.
Sandhills is it's not as big asthe one that I remember in Charlotte,
but I like the I do likeImax experiences. I'm the reason I
go to the movies is because ofthe picture and sound, sure, and

(11:43):
so the bigger the picture, rightand the more the sound, the more
likely I am to want to go. But then, because that's why I
go to the movies, I willvery very rarely pay to go see a
picture that's like a drama or evena comedy. I'm not interested in seeing
that on the big screen. Iwant to see, you know, explosions

(12:07):
and jets flying and all kinds ofYou might as well just take me to
the Imax and show me. Oneof my favorite Imax experiences was years ago.
Jordan and I went up there justto experience like the three D thing
that they had and alls. Itwas was like a twenty minute or maybe
a little longer, I don't remember, but it was a It was a
film that they had made inside thenose of a bubble you know those like

(12:30):
bubble front helicopters. Yeah, typeof thing. Yea, and the guy
was just flying through the range whoeveryou looked, you were like in the
mountains, and the surround sound wasgoing on. I was like, this
is awesome. I feel like I'min that helicopter. Didn't have a rail
where you got to hold onto itbecause you'd fall over. That was that

(12:52):
was what Disney Disney, I guess, yeah, yeah, it's hold on
to the rail. And I thinkthat they get us wet in that one.
They might have even thrown a littleauto. I wasn't at Disney.
I've never been to Disney, notgoing to Disney, but it was I
guess it was at Caro Wins orone of those other amusement parks. I
don't know where it was, butI know I had to had to rail,
you had to hold onto because youliterally would fall over. I feel

(13:13):
like it's following your eyes. Ifeel like it was a Spider Man thing
where you were jumping from buildings.I don't think it was. Yeah,
yeah, yeah, yeah, itwas so cool that. Yeah, those
are good times and that's what that'swhat I pay for. Yeah, I
don't really care to see the youknow, Tom Hanks talking at you know,
Yeah, I'll wait for that oneto be on my TV. That's
right anyway. So there's some ofthe things we can talk about tomorrow when

(13:37):
we get ready for the weekend. We kick it off on a Frihead day.
