In Luke 13:31-14:14, Jesus receives a warning from some Pharisees about Herod's intent to kill Him, but He responds defiantly, expressing His determination to continue His work until it is completed. Then, on the Sabbath, Jesus heals a man with dropsy at a Pharisee's house, challenging the leaders with questions about the law and healing.
