A few months ago, an Australian woman underwent brain surgery. What the surgeons discovered was a world first...a parasite living in her brain.

So how does a parasitic worm end up in your brain? The experts say it came from a carpet python, but she'd never been in contact with one.

In this episode of The Quicky, we take a look at exactly how this worm ended up living and infecting a human brain and find out whether we need to be concerned about another case of animal to human transfer.
