Lisa, Absolutely, Tamra. Thisis a conversation, not a dissertation.
Right. No scene by scene breakdownshere. We jump around a lot,

(01:29):
and of course huge boiler alert forevery show in the world through yesterday's episode.
So if you're cool with that, this is the place for you,
and let's jump to it. Episodeeight. What did you think? I
didn't like it? You didn't?I did not. Okay, I'm like
kind of relieved to hear that, because I mean, I didn't hate it,

(01:53):
but I was laughing through most ofit. And I'm like, the
crazy writing, the idiocy of thedecisions and the things coming out of people's
mouths, I was like laughing throughmost of it, Like you gotta be
kidding me. Okay. To beginwith, so, you know, what's

(02:14):
what's her name? What I hate? Madison sends off, you know,
son off, help me out,Charlie Charlie, you know, you know,
for revenge for her son whatever.Yes, so, but then she
feels bad. She gets her onthe fucking radio. Sorry, and then

(02:34):
you know, and she's like,no, come on back, and Charlie's
like, no, can't come back. I can't. I'm mute around it
here. And at that point,Madison should have gotten off the radio and
back to Louisianna, you know her. I guess Okay, guys, I
just got back from New Orleans andI'm a little hazy. You're all gonna

(02:55):
have to deal, okay, Butyeah, she should have immediately handed that
mike back to her because at thatpoint, you know, it wouldn't have
gone white as badly. At leastthere wouldn't have been that direct connection to
Madison. Yeah, I agree. As soon as she figured out she was

(03:21):
trapped, she should have stopped talking, but instead she says her name again,
and I'm like, what are youdoing? Are you trying to get
her in trouble? Like it didn'tmake sense to me. I'm gonna after
watching this episode, I have noticeda theme. Okay, what's the theme?
Every time these people go to anyother community, they destroy it.

(03:47):
It doesn't matter if it's good orbad. If any of this main group
from Fear of the Walking Dead showsup at your doorstep, just assume your
community is going to be wiped out. Yeah, basically because trouble follows them,
right and you And part of itis just because they're doing stupid,

(04:10):
stupid stuff. Yeah, and youknow, Okay, so they go in
to get the oil or the gas. Make sure this is the place.
Yeah, this is the place. And they go in and the first thing
Madison does, you know, whenshe sees that walk or without an arm,
bang bang ban bang ban bang ona glass door. I know,

(04:32):
it's like, what is wrong? She does a lot of dumb things like
are you kidding me? Right? And and that was just the beginning of
the dumb thing. But it wasn'teven just her because once you know,
Louisiana, no, Lousiana, Yeah, Lusiana comes on the scene. Yeah,

(04:58):
you know, they save their buttsand then basically say, hey,
I need to protect my people, which I think was a smart move on
her side because the destruction that theothers do. Yes, but instead of
respecting that, you're bargeing on it. Bu No, We're not going to
stay where we're told we're not goingto do what we're told, and everything

(05:21):
turns well, yeah, there's youknow, how her son died, you
know. And it's it's interesting because, you know, yes, when she
found Victor again, things went kindof crazy really quickly. So it's not
like he had a chance to belike, hey, wait, let me

(05:43):
tell you something. But on theflip side, I think maybe he should
have told her. But well,I mean, she knows he died,
and yes, and I think partof the reason he didn't say any thing
was because she had brought Charlie inand Charlie's the one that killed her son.

(06:04):
And I don't think Strand or anyoneelse wanted her to feel that guilt
that it was kind of her fault. I didn't think that deep into it.
I just thought that that he like, he literally said, I thought
she was dead, dude, Ididn't know she was alive. It didn't
matter. Charlie was dead. Itdidn't matter, right, Charlie was dead,

(06:26):
her son's dead. You know, all people are gone. But and
the fact is this, The factis is up to this last episode,
you know, everyone had already knownthat her daughter was dead. Yeah,
so now, but it's it's almostas if they're making it a a as

(06:46):
she had died just yesterday when whenshe took off walking into the sunset and
left everyone, you know, leteveryone else stroll on down the you know,
the river on their own, thestrand trailing behind. The fact is
is they all assumed that she wasgoing to die. Yeah, they did.
That was the whole point. That'swhy she stayed behind because she knew

(07:11):
she wasn't doing well and she didn'twant to turn while you know, they
were stuck in those boats. Yeah. But I've like, after last episode,
I've really come to the point offeeling if I don't see a body
or a walker, they are totallyalive. Right. Yeah. I didn't

(07:31):
even like the fact that they broughtCharlie Brack. So look when they showed
Charlie. So when the girl startsstepping out the truck, I'm like,
who the hell is this? Andthen when I saw Charlie, I'm like,
oh my god, this girl survivedradiation. She was on dust's door,
she was going to die, yeah, and miraculously here she is just

(07:53):
to die again. In the sameepisode, I'm like, what the iway
they could have thrown anyone else inthere. Honestly, they couldn't. I
mean, any other character that theyhad thought was alive. They could have
thrown June in there for God's sake. Look, the writers, in my
opinion, are all making drama forthe sake of drama. Yeah. It

(08:13):
doesn't even really have to make sense. We just want Madison to go through
this huge range of emotion. Althoughit's kind of stupid to me being that.
Okay, so she's not been agood person for the last seven years,
right, she's not been doing goodthings. She's been kidnapping kids.

(08:35):
But yet they want to put outthis vibe that she's like, really a
good person and above reproach. Butshe's not. She's just as bad as
everyone else. Yeah, she hasdone some absolutely bad thing. Yeah,
so I don't feel bad for her. It's like, yeah, your son
died, but you should have grievedhim by now, you know what I

(08:56):
mean. When Morgan met you,he told you they were dead, right,
that they were both dead, andhe gave the detail her, some
details, But he wasn't there whenthey died. No, he was going
off of what he heard. Butby that time, that was seven years
ago. How could you not evenlearning new information, right, learning new

(09:18):
information. Of course it might haveshocked you, right, but can we
not act like you just learned theydied yesterday? Right? And the fact
is she had thought that entire timethat she was a collector, that her
kids were dead. Yeah, soshe never went looking for them. She

(09:39):
never went, you know, nothing. So it just she had already greathed
their loss, right, and shewas trying to do something good with Padre
and lou of her kids, youknow, for her kids, right,
And you know the fact that sheshe sent Charlie out, and and just

(10:01):
and the fact that Charlie went outso quickly, just none of that,
none of it made sense. Bythe way, her hair looks really fake,
I'm like, that's her hair sodark? Like what the heck?
What must be rady? I don'tknow. And again Madison went and honestly,
Charlie made a really good point thatMadison really should have understood. I

(10:24):
was eleven years old. Yes,I was being manipulated by all the adults
around me, and that did includeher. And you know the irony,
I actually remembered how old she was, Like before she said it, I
was like, give her a break. She was a child, she was
like eleven or twelve, and she'slike, I was eleven. I'm like,

(10:45):
oh my god, I actually remembered. She wasn't a kid. Yeah,
and you know this had been youknow, she had lost all her
both of her parents and yeah yeah. Uh. Drina just said she had
radiation. We saw before her hairfallen out. So well it's been seven

(11:07):
years and they fix the radiation.Does it not grow back? Yeah?
Or is it supposed to be awig? What is it? I don't
know. They never got into that. I guess it doesn't really matter in
the scheme of things. I mean, maybe she has a wig on.
I don't know. Uh, butyeah, it just the whole the way
Madison is reacting as if these herkids had just died yesterday. It's aggravating.

(11:33):
It's aggravating, and the fact thatshe is making everyone do all of
these things to more or less avengeher children is just a waste of everyone's
time. And you know what Danielsaid it perfectly in the end, you
haven't changed at all. Yeah, you're the same person. She's literally the

(11:54):
same character. All this growth, supposedly she's done all this you know,
process and trying to do the rightthing. And be better. It's all
trash, like you see Troy andyou go ape shit, you know what
I mean? Like, she justloses it and can I just say so,
we're talking about Madison doing dumb stuff, right, So she, you

(12:16):
know, after they have that littleconfrontation, she goes you know, they
go to rescue Charlie, and ofcourse I'm like, of course they're going
to rescue her, right, Soshe goes to rescue Charlie, and then
you know, after they're out there, she's negotiating for her and all of
this huh not doing well, no, not doing it well. And of

(12:37):
course then Charlie does what she does, which I'm like, oh my god,
really are okay? So I waskind of annoyed with that. But
that happens and then all of asudden, Madsone's like, yeah, deals
off, no problem. You know, they're fighting again. And then they're
fighting. He runs off to lookfor Tracy, his daughter, and she
goes to like help him. Soit's like she's got polar or something.

(13:01):
It's like, now Towl's involved,Yeah, it's a child, so let
me go help. But then theminute he figures she figures out that he
was cutting off limbs. She goesape shit again and she's like trying to
like knock his head off with asledgehammer again. I'm like, okay,
this girl is so bipolar. I'mlike laughing when she swings the sledgehammer at

(13:24):
him. I'm just dying. I'mgiggling. I'm like, what is this?
Are we doing this or what?Like? I don't I don't know.
I don't find it good. Ifind it laughable. Okay, I'm
gonna okay, so Mattison, thedaughter's name is, help me out.
Who's oh Tracy, No, Madison'sdaughter? Oh Alicia Asia? Thank you?

(13:48):
Uh huh, all right, I'mgonna go out on a limb here
on a crazy theory that Alicia isgonna be Tracy's mom. No, no,
hell no, hell no. Okay. You know, I'm not saying
that it is right. I'm notsaying it's a good idea. I'm even

(14:11):
possible how I don't know. Wedid say, you know that she was
or there were people that have saidthat the reason that she was so sick
was because she was pregnant. Butyou know, you think that someone she
would have mentioned Troy to somebody.I don't know, anyway, I don't.
I okay, So how long wasseason seven? How long was it?

(14:33):
I don't know because we're humans andit only takes like nine months to
have a maybe, right, sotechnically it's ten. But okay, well
we're apocalypse, right. I beteverybody's having babies a little early. Let's
let's give her that. Let's evensay she has an earlier pregnancy. No,
how like what time frame? Wherewould this fit? I don't quite.

(14:58):
I don't know. Yeah, cretassay she hated Troy, and I'm
not, okay, and I'm notdisagree with your creator what. I didn't
watch any of that season. Ihave no idea what happened. I don't
know why all these people are madat each other. Okay, really don't
and honestly don't really care. Ididn't like that particular seat or that part
of it. But I'm gonna I'mjust gonna go out here and live because

(15:22):
they're already doing stupid stuff. Youknow, the the whole overreaction with Madison,
you know, bringing up Alicia, the whole. You know, Charlie
killed my son and I assumed itwas an adopted daughter, Like, oh,
I found this kid now she's mydaughter, right, which again,

(15:45):
if it's adopted daughter, could stillbe alicious. I will lose my shit
if that is what it is.I cannot I will not be a happy
person at all. I will belike they literally just throw stuff on the
wall and hope it sticks. Likewhat kind of plotting is this? Like

(16:07):
it's not even it doesn't even makesense that And the things that they were
having them do to me looked soforced that the actors you could tell they
were acting. Yes, it wasvery comical, it was very cartoonish.
I'm like, it didn't It feltlike I was watching a bad play,
right exactly. And and you know, and part of the reason, this

(16:30):
is part of the reason I didn'tlike the previous seasons it had Madison in
it. It just seemed over theMadison's reactions to everything. So it's the
very first episode that she was inwere always over the top, yes,
and she was. She was alwaysall over the place, and she she

(16:52):
was she never had loyalty and evennow so and again it has been over
seven years, and you know, since you know, she she's lost her
kids, she's had time to creeve, she's had time to let them go.

(17:14):
She knows that they were you know, Morgan told her that they had
both died. She knew the detailsdoesn't matter because you know, it's the
apocalypse. And I mean, Iunderstand, like I said, I understand
your arch nemesis. You know, someone you actually hate claims to take your
responsibility for killing your daughter. Yes, you would be pissed off, Yes
you might even want revenge, butlike you said, the reactions are just

(17:37):
so over the top. It's somuch. And like thinking about this woman
who can barely go like a bunchof minutes, like what twenty minutes without
having like all kind of breathing problems, and she needs to carry an oxygen
tank everywhere. Where does she getoff swinging sludgehammers? I'm just figure out

(18:00):
where she gets all the all theair tags, that's okay, Yeah,
First, where are all the airtakes coming from? Second, Like,
why the hell would you not justpick a knife? Why are you swinging
this heavy ash slugchance, you know, sledghammer. And he's like, oh
my god. So Victor even comesand he like gives her some oxygen.
I'm like, this is the dumbestthing I ever saw, Like, why

(18:22):
is she doing that well, andyou know her and Victor are back to
being best a buzz Oh my god. So and that's another problem I have
with this this episode. Everything likeit's like season seven didn't happen, right,
Like, let's just erase it.Because everyone was pissed at Victor.

(18:44):
They were mad at him for actinglike a dictator basically, and everyone's just
got to see Victor, yeah, and to hit him. The reason he
went with the Germans is because theyhad just completely snubbed him. Yeah,
and now I was like, hey, how's it gone? Which does you
know? I mean, all right, Madison coming back? All right?
Fine? But strand that's the waythat he left everything with everyone, even

(19:11):
after seven years, there would besome hesitation. Yes, he's just back
in the mix, like no problem. It's like even though like I don't
and I did not go back andwatch, so the details may be a
little marky, but even that wholesituation between Daniel and Luciana, like,

(19:32):
yes, she did save his lifeby kind of volunteering to you know,
protect you know, I'll do thisif you let him go, But what
about her lying to him and howmad he was? Yeah, and so
we're just bygones, I've been lookingfor you. Hey, we're for a
family again, bygones, let's justforget it, don't even discuss it.
Well, and after seven years, here's the thing. Why didn't she ever

(19:55):
on the slide, because she apparentlywas doing a whole bunch of things on
the slide, reach out to Danieland just say here's the deal. Yeah
she could have, Yeah, butshe didn't. No, she didn't.
And then like what about Daniel andhis like memory problems. You know,

(20:18):
it's like all of a sudden,it's fixed, just seven years later,
fixed, end of story. I'mlike, it doesn't make sense. I
don't know. I don't like it. It's like they just are ignoring these
are like clear plot holes to me. Well, and here's the other thing.
And this is the big thing Idon't understand. Oh, we need

(20:38):
fuel so that we can fight Troy. Why even fight him? He has
no idea where Padrey is. Noone's been able to find Padre. Why
not just go and hold up inPadre? Yeah, why he can't find
it? Because and part of itis is if even if he does find
Padre, it's a fortress, sostid And that's the reason he wants Cadre

(21:04):
is because he knows it's a safelocation. Well, that and because it
belongs to Madison. That's the bigreason. We all know. Because Charlie
did point out, you've got aplace right here. M hm. I
also want to point out that theytook it. What was a really nice
place, really nice had electricity andchickens and food and alm up makers.

(21:30):
And they're sitting there in the darkin this I mean they they have destroyed
it, you know, like youknow, like it's a some kind of
den And from the first episode, from the you know, from yes or
the last episode, you know, they show this whole place and it's I
mean, it's beautiful and it's airyand it's light. It's like a resort.

(21:53):
Yeah. Well it only took uson afternoon to take it. But
that's also it makes sense. IfTroy has this daughter that he cares about
and he's trying to imply that hewants Padre for her, you know,
and not just to be mean, then why would you wreck someplace that's perfectly
good if you have kids with you, why are you doing that? It

(22:15):
makes no sense. I mean, they destroyed it and with the with not
I mean, they had no lightin there except for candles. Did you
notice that. I didn't really noticeit, but I knew it was wrecked.
You know, everything is by candlelightright now, which means that they
and when they took over the place. It's not like they did a big

(22:36):
shootout thing, you know, whichdoesn't make sense. When Madison and her
group left, there were still lightson and there was still food, you
know, there was still a garden, you know there, it was still
you know, protected, And ifhe was really concerned about people coming in
and taking the place, he couldhave just had sentries posted. Because the

(22:59):
big problem was that place was theydidn't have any centuries. That's why they
took it that. Ultimately, that'spart of the problem with the writers on
this show. There's no common sensewhen it comes to writing the story,
right, none of it makes sense. And I would honestly just really like
one just once this you know, the core group from you know on fear

(23:26):
to approach a community and not destroyit. Yeah, because again, good
community back to me, you knowmatter. You know, these Germans had
been surviving since the beginning of theapocalypse in this place and had built this
beautiful paradise, which other people apparentlyknew about because you know, they would

(23:52):
bring people in and you know, and others would find them. So they
had had absolutely no problem until Madisonshowed up. Yes, and the minute
her footsteps place in there, youknow, is placed in there, everything
goes to help basically, and thatshe's the driver, right. They want

(24:15):
her to be the star of theend of his and it's not really working,
no, because they're having everyone doweird, weird, out of character
things. And as far as again, this group with Troy, why did
they take basically what was a paradiseand destroy it. What was the point

(24:37):
They could have lived there very comfortably. And if their gripe was with Madison,
why touch that place? Right? That's not her place? Yeah,
she doesn't live there, that's nother people. They just picked her up.
They didn't know, and you know, just to like kind of piggyback

(24:57):
around, like you know how wewere taking about how Madison and Victor and
them were like, we need gasto help fight Troy and his people the
boats. Yeah, but Troy isso big and bad, you guys need
to like get all these supplies theywrap up. One minute, you're thinking

(25:18):
like this big, you know, military style, we got to do all
this stuff. And then two secondslater you're like, hey, let's send
Charlie to kill him. What whatthe That don't make any sense? So
you think this girl can just strollup in there and just kill him like
Madison's and Madison's raising as well. You know, you strolled into my place,

(25:40):
you know, into the stadium anddestroyed it, and then you know,
you killed my son, so obviouslythis is something that you should do.
And that's just dumb. And Idid you notice that there were the
parallels of Charlie. So Charlie wentinto the stadium as an undercover, and

(26:00):
then the stadium ended up going upin fire. And here we are again
in another location with the fire andand I'm I'm gonna be real truthful.
I'm a little irritated that they destroyedParadise in this show. Yeah, I

(26:22):
know, I don't know. Maybewe'll come back around to that, maybe
we won't, because everyone just theyjust put all the people on Padre right.
They just told the people to goto Padre right. So and so
all of you know, all ofVictor's people are safe. And I don't
know that it'll be as as luxuriousas what they had there and there on

(26:45):
their you know, resort. Butagain, as I understand it, they
can pretty they're pretty much self sustainable. They're on the island, they only
need a few things, and theyhave all the cargo containers except for apparently
the twenty seven that Louisian Luciana,Luciana has not Louisiana. Okay, guys,

(27:10):
I'm sorry anyway, but you know, yeah, Brina just said Madison
sent Charlie on a suicide mission. That's what I said. Yes, Karina,
I said, that is a suicidemission. And she took it.
Yeah, and she rigged her tankers, you know, because she expected to
die in it. Yeah. Yeah, which is like another one of my

(27:34):
problems. I'm like, wait aminute. You do all of this,
you survive all of this, youpush through, you persevere, you're doing
good stuff, and you just agreeto just go off and die. Yeah.
Well, and even and it turnsout that, you know, she's
helped build this network, this huge, sprawling network, to help a lot

(27:57):
of people. I don't get it. It doesn't sound right to me exactly
that this entire episode was a wholebunch of people doing things that we all
know a normal person would not do. Apocalypse or not people act in particular
ways because I know if I wereCharlie. She said it herself in her

(28:19):
own dialogue, I was a child. I felt bad, you know,
she took ownership of what she did. She was not in a place where
she felt depressed about that anymore. She'd moved on, why the hell would
you say I'm gonna take one forthe team like that. I just don't

(28:40):
understand that at all. Well, and not just that, but you know
I took you know, I feltso bad, and you know, things
happened, and I recovered my lifewhen I thought I was going to die,
and now I'm helping other people tomake up for what I had done.
I'm saving lots of lives. Werethe one I took, I would

(29:06):
have preferred if that scene had wentdown with Madison showing her own growth and
saying, you know what, Charlie, I see that, and you know
I don't like you anymore. Ifeel guilty for letting you in because this
is what you did. But let'sjust part ways. You know, that's
all she had to do. Well, and especially after being told that,

(29:33):
you know, everyone knew what Charliehad done, and everyone had forgiven her,
you know, including Alicia. Yeah, she was the first to forgive
her. And at that point, you know, again, Madison doesn't have
to be your best butter or anything, but she can say, you're right,
you were eleven years old. Yeah, and if my daughter was mature

(29:56):
enough to understand this exactly, Ishould be exactly. But again I don't.
I don't even care. If Madisonsaid she never wanted to see her
face again, I would have beenokay with that too, right, But
don't send the girl off to die. Well, and here's the other thing.
Since apparently no one had told Madisonwas going on, they could have

(30:19):
kept it sickret a little bit longer. They didn't have to say didn't nobody
had to say they didn't. Theydidn't have to say it all. But
that would have been willfully lying toher at that point. Yeah. But
you know when they could have toldher is after they were away. Yeah.
Oh, by the way, Ihave to tell you something. I

(30:41):
know you're gonna hate me forever. But yeah, you know, they could
have completed the transaction, they couldhave gotten the gasoline, they could have
you know, gone or probably it'sprobably diesel, honestly, because it kind
of looks like everything's running on dieselnow, which is easier to refrying.
But uh, you know, theycould have just waited, and you know,

(31:06):
Charlie could have pulled Victor Aside oranyone, anyone from that group.
You know that he knew and said, hey, you know now that you
know that Charlie's alive, to keepit under wraps, and you know,
once you're away, let her knowwhat happened, mm hmm, without Charlie

(31:29):
being right there. And then ifshe wants to talk to Charlie, we
can make arrangements. But no,everyone has to go. And and again
you know when when they were askedand and and even after she explained,
listen, we we've we've built thisentire community and and this network, and

(31:53):
we're using these trucks and we're usingthe supplies that you know that uh,
Padre forgotten they had or didn't knowthey had, and we're using it to
actually fulfill the mission that Padre wassupposed to fulfill, which is to get
these supplies and help new communities andestablish places and so on and so forth.

(32:14):
They're doing it. They're actually doingthe thing that Madison is claiming she
wants to do, which is whythey went and looked for those cargo containers.
It's why they went and killed allthose walkers, It's why all of
this. It's not just to reunitechildren, it's to rebuild civilization using the

(32:35):
container ships. Right. And it'sbeen, however, many years between taking
over Padre and now, and shehasn't done that. Apparently they have not
done that. They're just focusing onrebuilding Padre. But you know, Lucianna

(33:00):
and her group have been Yeah, they've been doing it. In my opinion,
at this point it should be herand her group that are in charge
of Padre and actually fulfilling the missionof that place, right, because obviously
that is an aunt. But youknow, Luciana has some valid points.
She wanted to keep her people secret. She wanted to keep what they were

(33:23):
doing secret, Like more exposure meansmore trouble, right, more everything,
which is what she didn't want, and which is why at the end,
she's like, yeah, we're done. You got what you got. We're
done. Yeah, you are notgetting any more fuel from us, Yeah,
because now we're all at risk becauseof you. So I'm not even

(33:46):
mad at her. She got toprotect her own people. And even Daniel's
like, dude, I'm out,Yeah, I'm done, and and I'm
with you know, I'm with herbecause this is just a t and she
should not be the face of thisplace. She should not be in charge
because she was part of the problem. But I also think that her choice

(34:09):
to leave at the end was alsostupid, because I do not feel like,
Okay, so if we go onwhat Troy's reasoning was right, he
pretty much said, why do youthink we wanted that place? Blah blah
blah. You know, we findout about his daughter. Sounds like there

(34:30):
may be other kids there, basedon when the guy came up and started
telling him about what happened and whyTracy ran off. It doesn't seem like
they're gonna just leave Padre alone andfollow her off. They're not gonna do
that, right, They want Padre, so that's not gonna her walking away

(34:51):
is not stopping anything. She owesit to them to protect the place,
right well, And Troy's like, you know, I don't care about people.
They can leave. I just wanta safe location, but one that's
kind of a dick move. Becauseeverybody wants that exactly. And two they
were given a nice place that wasrelatively safe because it had been there since

(35:15):
the beginning of the apocalypse and itwas thriving until they showed up. Well,
you know what else is stupid iswanting all those people to leave Padre
because guess what all that gardening andcooking and that's not done in a vacuum,
right, and it's apparently it's peopledon't know how to do it because

(35:37):
they're sitting in the dark in candlelight. And I'll let you by the end
of the week starving, mm hmm. And we know for a fact that
when you know, last episode, when that one new guy came in and
Victor showing him around and like, you know, we're gonna fix your hand
or your arm, and here's somemedicine, and here's some deep fried food

(35:59):
or your fritters or whatever. Oh, and look at the omelet bar,
you know. And we walked throughthe courtyard and there's chickens and there's goats,
and there's all this food being grown. I mean, how they're out
there playing soccer game? Yeah, you know, there's a soccer game,
and apparently there are teams and aschool. Yeah, and it's a correct

(36:21):
that place. And you know,so I mean for it to be dark
in desolate, I mean they puta cage in that main room. That
just happened. Yeah, you know, so that he could chop off the
arms of the walkers just by theway was a whole another Like he seems

(36:44):
like a walking idiot, Like youwant to waste time cutting off arms of
walkers just to harass Madison. Likewhat in the hell what are you doing?
How can you be trying to protectpeople but you're doing this. It's
really counter into it, right,Like I said, all of these people
are acting in ways that real, live human beings would not be doing.

(37:13):
Yeah, I'm confused. I'm confusedwhy people in general seem I feel like
online it seems like it's Team It'sgreat this season and Team it's shitty.
Yeah, I'm team Season eight bea shitty so far. I don't like
it. Well, they really think, you know, and they really hyped

(37:36):
it up. Oh this is gonnabe like the best season finale and we're
gonna wrap up things and ye orwhatever. They would have been better not
to bring him Dixon Dickerson back orwhatever. Her name is Dickens, don't
bring her and like I mean, like I said, I hate Madison and
that's why I don't know who Troyis. I could not stand her.

(38:01):
You know, the other characters ain'twhatever, but her, and I legitimately
like Victor at that time better thanI liked her. She drove me nuts.
And I gotta tell you, ifI was in a zombie apocalypse party
now a woman liked that was inthere, she would have had an accident,

(38:27):
like we're gonna oops, I don'tknow, shame she walked right off
that cliff without looking. Yeah, all right, seriously because in the story,
so can I just like insert this? So this whole story about this
kind of also annoyed me a littlebit because again, I'm not going back

(38:52):
to try to figure out the timingand try to figure out how this works.
But it sounded like the dumbest thingever. When they explained that they
went back and up Nick's body andcremated him what was left, I'm like,
what, what? Why? Whyhaven't I heard of this before?
Well, and and Victor was going, we were in a really dark place,

(39:15):
we were on our way to findammunition. And but I also I
do remember that episode and the flowersbecause Nick had been talking about there was
some memory he was sharing, mhand he was talking about this these flowers.

(39:35):
So in theory, honestly, hewould have been comfortable there because he
he liked what he was seeing andthat's why the story was told, and
it reminded him of his mom.Why would they go back and I mean
and dig him up? I dounderstand that there was other pressing issues.

(39:58):
How many people are long this wholeroute from the beginning to where they stand
right now? Have they buried orleft out exposed because they were in a
bad situation? Mm hmm. It'snot like they have big funerals. So
Charlie thought that he deserved a betterplace and that Madison will be able to

(40:24):
pick the will be the right personto pick the right place. How everyone
thought she was dead? Yeah, well I guess she left the ashes.
I guess Charlie had been carried themaround. It just decided to leave a
her to figure out what to dowith. And honestly, at this point,

(40:45):
the boy's been buried, he's beendug you know, dug up,
set on fire and put in ajar or it can I'm sorry, and
what it takes to cremate a bodywho is doing that? Yeah, because
you know in the apocalypse effort.Oh, I guess mostly what they have

(41:07):
in there is wood ash but sostupid. Yeah, but honestly, why
even find a good place for him? You know, if you want to
carry this dead, you know,if you want to carry Nick around,
fine, you know, Madison canhold on to that. It's it's her
last connection with her son. Keepit in whatever. Mm hmm. But
you know this whole he needed tobe picked up and taken somewhere else.

(41:30):
We'll fine put you know, puthim in a nice jar and put him
on the mantel whatever. And Iknow that sounds really mean, but again,
it's been over seven years for Madisonsince she's seen her kids. It's
been what ten at least it's beena while because it was there was a

(41:52):
seven year jump, and then youknow she wasn't with him for two seasons,
three seasons, right, so youknow, just going by you know,
a year season a year, andI do believe there's a couple other
time jumps, you know, smallones anyway, m hm. So it's

(42:12):
been what at this point twelve yearsprobably since she's seen her kids. I
don't know, it's been a verylong time. At least it's around there.
Even if it's been like just adecade, it's been a long time.
And I just the rage, thelevel of rage coming off of her

(42:34):
is like, uh, unbelievable.Like this old woman basically swinging around this
heavy ass weapon who can barely breathe. The comedy, Yeah, what is
this? Get the bitch a gun? Sorry, just say I don't I

(42:55):
don't get it. I don't understandit. You know, her absolute indignation,
you know, pulling out the armto compare it to this. Oh
my god, you're just gonna stickit on that? Yes, that is
the dumb Are you serious? Like, get out of here. Let me

(43:17):
just see if this matches like ajigsaw puzzle right. Well, and here's
the other thing she could She shouldhave been obviously able to see that this
was an old walker. But evenso, even so, she should have
she should have been able to tellif it was her daughter or not that

(43:37):
walker. The arm was cut waydown. Yeah, that didn't even make
sense. Like that arm is solong, she's trying to match it up
and it looks like ridiculous and Victor'slike, that's not her, it's not
her, it's not you know, and and and even so, even with

(43:58):
the missing arm, has she alreadyforgotten what her daughter looks like. I
know her daughter would not look likethat, even as a walker, she
would not look like that. Exactly. It's traumatizing, lady. It has
been a decade. And even ifyou thought your children were alive per se,
you had already buried them in yourheart because you never went looking for

(44:22):
them. Now she is, though, she is. Now she's gonna go
look for Alicia. Alicia. Andhonestly, I'm fine with it. Gone
girl, get out, because thisis only two episodes on the back half
of this season, and I'm likealready tired of Victor yank and Madison off

(44:43):
of people kicking and screaming. I'malready tired of that. He's like holding
her bag, dragging her away, like he's done that a lot of times
already. She's Madison's keeper now, right, And they never should have brought
her back. They never should AndI know that there were fans out there
screaming for this woman to come back, but they've got done. She'll be

(45:07):
back. This is temporary. Youknow, I mean they and and like
I said it, I don't wantthis to be the case. But with
the way they're coming up with theseridiculous stories and plotlines and twists quote unquote,
I'm gonna say that kid of Troy'sis either Alicia's daughter or some variation

(45:31):
thereof Oh God, And that waythey can really just screw the knife into
her chest that this is her granddaughter. Make it make sense, because I
am gonna like have a conniption.I just can't how. I mean,

(45:52):
the only thing, okay, hearme out on this one. The kid's
not actually kids. It's that oneguy we were talking about last episode,
you know, the one that hadbeen living in the car that Alicia had
found, you know, and therewere rumors that she was pregnant by him,
and that's why she was so sick. You know, it wasn't so

(46:15):
much the zombie, it was herbeing pregnant. No one caught it or
whatever. Now along comes Troy, and either she is pregnant and in distress,
or she is in labor, orshe's just had the baby or something,
but she's in desperate need and Troyquote unquote saves her. Well,

(46:39):
maybe I don't know. I justthought that, you know how they make
families, it's made families nowadays,So I just thought, maybe he rescued
this kid from somewhere and this islike his adoptive daughter, right, not
his blood daughter. And we don'tknow how old she is. We don't
know anything right now. We knowthat she is old enough to wander off

(47:02):
to look at a taker, butthat could be six or s could be
fifteen, right, it could beseven, it could be seven, it
could be five. Well then maybenot a five year old, but a
six year old, a seven yearold or a twelve year old. It
could be anything exactly, and that'swhy. And we never even see her.

(47:24):
So yeah, like I said,I'm I don't want this. I'm
just saying the ridiculous levels that aregoing on right now. This is gonna
be my guest. So that kidis her, is Alicia's mm hmm,
because you know, if that's thecase, I am. I hate plot

(47:45):
holes with a passion. I hatethem. And last season, you know,
when Alicia walked off, she wasdoing all these monologues and thinking about
life. It's just tap to tellpeople where to go or whatever. She

(48:05):
never mentions how could you think you'reabout to die and not mention a child
you had? Right? That doesn'tmake sense. I mean, there are
a few cases every year of womenactually delivering babies that they didn't know they
were pregnant with. It doesn't happenvery often, but it does happen.

(48:30):
And so the the fandom theory isis the reason why she wasn't healing,
why she was supposed to, andwhy she was so sick. She was
actually pregnant and didn't know it.So when she wandered off, she didn't
know. And so are we talkinglike we have another like possible child.

(48:55):
They could be the savior or anotherchild that was born to someone was bitten.
God, I don't know, isthat what we're doing now? I
don't think they're going to do thatif that's the case, I don't think
they're going to do that with withthis kid. Because while Alicia was bidden,
she did cut off her arm,all right, and YadA, YadA,

(49:15):
YadA. The fan And again, like I said, the fan theory
is is the reason. It wasn'tthe zombie bite that was making her so
sick, It was just her beingpregnant. And oh no, she was
looking like death. Oh well, you know, without modern medicine, a
lot of women look like that whenthey're pregnant. Okay, I'll take your
word for it. I don't havethe energy to argue it. I'm just

(49:37):
saying no. Well, I mean, I'm just saying, I mean,
she could have had, you know, a dozen different things wrong with her
that, you know, under moderncircumstances, a doctor would give you a
prescription for or a medic you know, something, you know, some kind
of treatment for, and so onand so forth. And because she had

(49:57):
been bidden, she thought it wasbit and it said it was pregnant pregnancy
related issues. Okay, somebody, anybody out there listening, do me a
favor and tell me how long seasonseven was? How long was that supposed
to be from the time that shecut off her arm to the time and

(50:20):
she walked off into the sunset? How long? It wasn't that long?
It wasn't I think they I thinkit was just a couple of months.
Mm hmm, a couple weeks evenmaybe. Yeah, I don't know,
it wasn't that long. Unfortunately,so who was Okay, So there was
another part though, when Madison waslike, who did I take for what?

(50:43):
Did I take from you? Right? And he says something like I
should have wrote down the quote,But I'm like, what what did you
say, Lisa? It basically said, it doesn't matter. Well, that's
what I'm thinking. Maybe someone thathe she somehow took or killed or inadvertently
and directly, maybe that's the babyMama could be or and maybe it's not

(51:08):
something that she directly did, butlike it was a byproduct of something she
did. Right, I don't know, like I said, the only one
that, like I said, becausethey're all about the surprise twist right now,
that would be a surprise twist.A surprise twist to me would be
that Madison killed one of the baby'smothers that she was trying to steal and

(51:30):
they left another kid behind. Yeah, maybe he found the kid or something.
I just don't really want it tobe this Alicia thing. I just
really don't. I don't want it, Like I said, I don't want
this storyline. I don't. Butwith the way that they are branding these

(51:53):
characters around and having them do allthis weird stuff, and yep, the
fact is bringing Troy back after allthis time, I heard you on the
radio, Well, how far outdoes that radio go? My god,
that was another thing me. Youknow how I feel about these stupid radios,
and even with repeaters and stations andblah blah blah, this is over

(52:17):
the top. Yeah. They areanywhere at any time, and they just
use a radio to contact whoever theywant, wherever they want. But they're
not hearing anybody else's chatters. Soyou know, they're using it like their
own personal cell phone. Right,Oh, I know. Well, and
here's the other thing, so asI understand it, Lusitania who Lusiana?

(52:45):
Luciana, I'm ever gonna get ittonight. I'm just now. So she
has a network that, as shesays, goes from where they're at all
the way to Arizona. Hope they'relike going around Texas at this point.
But whatever they have, they havea network. That is what four states,

(53:08):
five states, Louisiana, Texas,uh, New Mexico, Arizona,
course states. That's still a lotof ground. Mm hmm. Troy would
have been coming from California. Howdid he not encounter any of her network?

(53:29):
How did not a single person inher network encounter his group? Right?
Because even if they're trying to keepthemselves somewhat a secret messages could have
been sent to Padre that said, you should be aware Troy's coming for you,

(53:51):
right and yet and yet, somehowwith her giant network with four states
and you know, apparently you knowwhatever, didn't know or never encountered these
people. And they remind me ofLocus that they come in and they just
you know, they take what theywant, they destroy whatever's left, and

(54:15):
then move on. Because again, they took this place that was beautiful and
nice and sustaining and turn it intoa you know, Hyena is dead.
And if they're leaving, if they'redoing every place they come in contact with
like that, oh my gosh. She would have been aware of them just

(54:37):
because of her network, even ifshe didn't come in direct contact with them,
and she would have made more skinin the game at that point because
if he was actually going across thecountry killing things and destroying things, you
know, she would have wanted tostop them. Well, you know,
I guess we'll never know if somethingdifferent could have happened if they had given

(55:00):
up Madison right away instead of tryingto keep her a secret. We'll never
know if he would have done somethingdifferent. Maybe he might have left them,
or maybe he was just talking messand he would have done that anyway,
Right, it's hard to say.And you know, and Charlie made
the point, don't do it becauseit doesn't matter if you give him Padrey

(55:22):
or not. It's not Padre hewants. It's you miserable. Yeah,
you know, it's your You know, it's you to suffer. And the
walker's without arms is proof of that. He just wants to torture her,
right, and because he could haveguilt her on at least two occasions now

(55:45):
and he has not, Because thepoint is is he wants her to suffer.
And he told her, you know, when they were all tied up,
of first, I'm gonna kill Victor, but I'm gonna kill all these
other people. I'm gonna leave youalive. Well, you know what after,

(56:05):
you know, Charlie decided to makeher choice. Right after she did
that, Madison was standing so closeto Troy. If she had a weapon
that she could just slide out ofher pocket like a knife, she could
have attacked him right then and there. Yeah, stab him a couple of
times and be done with it.Right. Well, and here's the part

(56:30):
I don't understand why didn't they justset up some sharpshooters and wait for him
to walk outside and just kill him. Yeah? Were that the simple solutions?
Because it's too easy. They wantus to see all this drama,
even if it's stupid drama. Yeah, I'm for the sake of drama.

(56:52):
Yeah, I'm just letting you know. I'm going with snipers. And Madison
doesn't get to live in my apocalypse. She gets mixed up in the mass
oops. Yeah, oopsy, damnshame. I don't know. I can't,
I cannot, I don't know what. I sat down for yesterday's episode.
I was kind of like excited tosee what was gonna happen, and

(57:14):
I'm literally sitting there just talking outloud, laughing, making rude comments about
it. There was a lot onmy part of are you kidding me?
Yes? Like really, are wereally okay? Seriously, this is where
you decided to go mm hmm. This is the final thing. This is

(57:36):
a big finale, the you know, the coody grass of this, of
this entire show, and this thisis where we're at. You're kidding?
They are not, they are not. Unfortunately, so we have what four
more episodes, so we know nextepisode is like Dwight and Share are like

(58:00):
the forerunners of that episode. Andof course June. I think we saw
June in the preview, and thenMadison's back. I saw the little artwork
for episode ten. So, likeI said, Madison is really not gone.
She back. We're not gonna They'renot gonna let her just walk off.
No, she's gonna have some grandfinale appearance thing. I don't know.

(58:24):
And again, now how to findAlicia, though, if you're gonna
make us do deal with all thisextra garbage, at least find your daughter.
Make it worth it. Yeah,I don't know. I mean,
it's I don't know. I don'tknow. It's all just dumb, it

(58:44):
is though it is. Yeah,I don't know. I have nothing else.
Well, and here's the thing. After after Jerald Dixon, I was
actually pretty hopeful for Fear of theWalking Dead, because you know, they've
they've had their ups and downs, but you know, once they got out

(59:04):
of the Apocalypse, it's better. And you know that they've had some really
good, strong seasons prior to theApocalypse or the New Nuclear one. Sorry,
yeah, I should say, right, you know, so I was
hoping that they would they would goback to that kind of storytelling, and

(59:29):
apparently with Madison there, they're not. They're going backwards a little bit.
Well, they're bringing back all ofMadison's garbage, all of her baggage.
Every episode here has been oh,look at all the trash that Madison didn't

(59:51):
take out. Mm hm. Youknow, these are all of her worries
and disappointments, four decisions, andall of this season so far has just
been look at what a terrible personMedicine is and all the way she has
scared up because she could have madeI mean, you know, she says

(01:00:15):
that, you know, she goeson, you know, if I hadn't
brought in Charlie, I could havesaved my kids, and that's probably true,
but there's other things that Madison hasdone that could have saved her kids,
and she was she made a lotof dumb decisions that put her in

(01:00:35):
that position anyway, right, Butyou know, like Victor said, you
never know what you'd make the bestdecision that you think you can at the
time. And if it wasn't that, if it wasn't Charlie, then it
could have been something else. BecauseMike was an idiot, right, wasn't
it, So it could have beensomething else. You did say, well,

(01:00:59):
how did you? And he says, I really thought, you know,
Nick was going to be a survivorbecause you know, he wasn't so
good in the life before, buthe was made for this. Oh and
he was kind of I mean,I guess, you know, little you
know, the little heroin attic wasyou know, built for wandering. Yeah,

(01:01:24):
I guess it's blended. Yeah,he did. And he was one
of the first ones in that inthat side of the show that figured out
that if you just don't emote, you know, you can blend. Now.
He he often covered himself with blood, but there was a couple of
times where he was high and hejust because he was out there, you

(01:01:49):
know, flooding along. He justfell in with the walkers. They didn't
even notice them stumbling around, stumblingaround because he was one of them,
you know. So yeah, insome way, he was just kind of
built for the apocalypse more so thanthe others. And but you know,
Madison threw out the seasons from betweenthe time she was there until she came

(01:02:13):
back, just made bad decisions evenwhen she wasn't on screen and she was
off the Faundry. She was stillmaking bad decisions, which was part of
my problem with the last episode,Like you're again you're calling out Victor for
changing his name and not telling everysingle thing about him. But do you

(01:02:36):
go around saying, Hi, I'mMadison, I stole kids for seven years,
right, No you don't, so, like, what why are you
riding him so bad? Like lethim be? Yeah? I mean,
just his character is such a hypocrite. I mean, and she could have
said, you know when she's like, no, it's Victor, No,
you're mistake, and he said,no, you're mistake. She's bad.

(01:02:59):
Yeah, oh okay, you looklike someone I knew, right, And
she could have then slid up tohim later and went, okay, what
the hell going on? Yeah wtf? Yeah? And you know, and
honestly, if I was in herposition, I would have gone, you
know, I may not agree withit that you're not telling the truth about

(01:03:22):
yourself, but I haven't seen youin ten to twelve years, and I
guess you get to make life choiceswithout Yeah. You know, yes,
Madison is such a hypocrite. Icannot Please fix her, fix her before
the end, do something about abouther dying that would make me happy.

(01:03:45):
I don't think they'll do that.I mean, that would be really mean.
I feel like they went through allthis effort to get her back on
this show. They're not gonna lether go out dead. I don't think.
I don't know, they brought inCharlie and then blew her up or
you know, yeah, ower headoff. So you know, so that
was a wasted reunion. Yeah,I don't know. It's like, why

(01:04:09):
did they do that? Just moredrama, more drama. Well, and
it also got what's his name outof Madison's grip and into the other.
Oh yeah, Daniel. It gothim to move, you know, it's
made it gave her a excuse toleave the group. I guess. I

(01:04:31):
suppose at this point, Victor's probablygoing to try and be in charge.
Bet you bet. You know what, he naturally tries to take charge,
even though at the hotel he wasnot the one in charge. She looked
like he was a part of acouncil of some kind. So now if
they took that council and they putit over there on Paudre, I'd be

(01:04:56):
okay with that because I think theywould make better decisions and make it a
lot better there than what they had, than what they have under Madison.
And plus, you know, Victorall already tried to be the dictator.
He already tried to be in chargeand it didn't work right, And supposedly
now he has this family that heloves, so for his personality to just

(01:05:16):
flip again, that would be soasinine, right. You know, we
had him, you know, savinga bird at the beginning of last episode
to I'll be dictator again. No, no, Victor, sit down,
just sit down. So I don'tknow, I mean, there's just a
lot of things going on. Ijust I don't approve. Yeah, I
mean either, I don't know.I guess we'll just have to see what

(01:05:41):
shakes out. But yeah, thisisn't ending so great for me, so
but we will persevere, we willcontinue. Yeah, we'll be here next
week. Yes, we will behere next week talking about episode nine.
We'll see how that goes. I'mdone with eight, Are you done?
