you should say bye, right.

Wilson (00:20):
Yeah, all right, see you later.
Goodbye, thanks for coming forcoming.

Jay (00:25):
Windows say goodbye to you.
I think you've got malware inyour system.
Run that virus scan.

Captain (00:34):
Who would say that?
Somebody would say that.

Wilson (00:36):
Somebody would say bye.

Captain (00:38):
Yeah, goodbye.

Jay (00:41):
Oh AOL, oh my gosh.

Captain (00:43):
Man.

Wilson (00:43):
I'm blasting the press.
Yeah, sorry, yeah, it was AOLDate yourself.
It's been 84 years.

Captain (00:51):
Yeah, who is that?

Jay (00:53):
The woman from the Titanic?
Oh, no, oh, who's talking?
Oh, that's AOL.
Yeah, who's talking?
Oh?

Wilson (00:59):
we have Jay again this week.
Yeah, oh.

Jay (01:02):
We've got some little clapping noises.

Captain (01:07):
What Are you Austin Powers?
Over there, what's he say yeah, baby.
Oh yeah, austin Powers mostlyholds up.

Wilson (01:14):
There are some things that are like ooh.

Captain (01:17):
Yeah, but the movie, you know, is a comedy, so you
kind of know they're leaning in.

Wilson (01:21):
You have to look at it through a lens.

Captain (01:23):
They're leaning in purposefully like austin powers
is not supposed to be a guy youlove they do some wonderfully
goofy stuff yeah like when he'sfirst, is it the first movie?

Jay (01:30):
when he's on frozen, and he's like austin powers, the war
is over.
He's like oh yeah, hell yeah, let's show those capitalist pigs
.
And like the communist loss.
He's like, oh, right on, yeah, but there's like um I think the
third one or maybe the secondone.

Wilson (01:46):
There's like, there's like a joke.
I was like I don't think youcan do that anymore um, there's
these two um asian twins andit's fook me and fook you.
Oh yeah, I don't think thataged super well, but that's fair
but I yeah, for me.

Captain (02:05):
I remember I watched those movies way too young and I
remember when I watched themand I and there was like fat
bastard character and at schoolwe were talking about like
movies, whatever, and I was like, oh yeah, and the fat bastard
character, and everyone was likeand I was like what?

Jay (02:22):
and like I?

Captain (02:22):
didn't know bastard was a bad word.
They were like bastard is likebitch, but like for boys, and I
was like, oh yeah, and I I mean,I don't even know how old you
were- 11 or something oatmealjust douses, I think I told this
story on the shut up dude.

(02:43):
I think I told this story in thepodcast already.
But when we were even younger, when I was really little, I
remember being like.
I remember somebody in thebathroom was saying like oh man,
the B word is so bad, and I waslike what?
But I was like you can say butlike, but it's fine.
You can say but but yeah, that's how how much I didn't

(03:07):
know.

Wilson (03:07):
I also got in trouble with that movie because I also
watched it too young and Iremember it was like the third
one whenever Austin Powers' dadis in it and he's telling that
story in like British, britishand he says like shat on a
turtle.

Captain (03:18):
But at that age I didn't know shat was a bad word,
I mean, you would never hear it.

Wilson (03:22):
No, and I was going around saying it and, like my
brother heard me say it and thenhis friend was over and they
were laughing at me saying itand I was like what is wrong?

Captain (03:30):
with saying Shadow and the Turtle.

Jay (03:36):
Yeah, my parents only watched Speed when I was really.
I watched a lot of actionmovies when I was a kid, but
they're kind of talking about it, so I was like should we let
them watch this?
I, they're like kind of talkingabout stuff.
Should we let them?

Captain (03:43):
watch this.
It's like, well, it's not toobad.
What's Speed about?
You haven't seen.

Jay (03:45):
Speed oh man.

Captain (03:47):
You're in for a treat.
Tyler Reeves and Sandra Bullock.

Jay (03:48):
You're in for a treat, I'm not going to say anything.
It's so good.

Wilson (03:51):
All right, but anyway.

Jay (03:51):
There's a scene it's the bus and they're like ah, she,
let him watch it, he's a littleyoung.
They're like it's fine, it'smostly an action movie and
there's a scene where someone'sgetting run off the road and
they're like oh shit, shit, shit, shit, and they crash the car
and like.
Immediately after I hear that,I'm like ha, ha, ha shit, shit,

(04:13):
shit, shit.
And I just keep saying andthey're like oh god.

Captain (04:19):
A lot of this sounds pretty good.

Wilson (04:21):
Yeah, there's a bomb on the bus, and if they stop it,
the bomb explodes.
It's so good.

Captain (04:24):
Yeah, you can't go below 50 miles per hour, keanu.

Jay (04:26):
Reeves Sandra Bullock.
Who's the oh man?
I can't think of his name rightnow.

Captain (04:30):
I love Sandy, the main bad guy.

Jay (04:31):
It's also got From Dumb and Dumber and the newsroom.

Captain (04:37):
The blonde guy.

Wilson (04:38):
Yes, it was Dave Coulier .

Captain (04:41):
Yeah, and that's fair, that's fair.

Jay (04:43):
Oh yeah, not Jeff Bridges.
No, isn't it Jeff?
I think it is Jeff.

Captain (04:48):
Not Jeff Goldblum.
What is?

Wilson (04:49):
that Jeff.

Jay (04:51):
Jeff.

Captain (04:52):
Jeffy Jeff.

Wilson (04:52):
Come on, I'm going to be so mad.
Okay, jim Carrey and Jeff, blank in Dumb and Dumber Buckley
.

Captain (05:02):
Bezos in Jeff Jeff.

Jay (05:03):
Jeffers, it's Jeff Daniels, jeff Daniels.

Wilson (05:05):
Yes, thank you, thank you.

Jay (05:07):
Jeff Daniels.
And the bad guy is also afamous Jeff Daniels.
Jeff Daniels is a wide range,95% of Rotten Tomatoes, by the
way.
Speed is a banger, just so good.
Dennis Hopper.
That's what I was thinkingDennis, just so good, dennis
Hopper.
That's what I was thinking, dennis, I know that name, hopper
not Hoffman Dennis he does acouple villain roles in the 90s,

(05:29):
I think.

Wilson (05:29):
I mean I don't want to mitigate, he's probably been on
this up too, but this guy ohyeah, he looks like a villain
pop quiz hot shot that's fromSpeed.
I've heard that before why arewe here?
Why are we oh?
Yes, anyway, sorry the only theonly discussion I was like we
neither of us have.

Captain (05:50):
None of us have seen weapons yet oh, we're gonna do a
monthly thing where we likeboth talk about things that one
of us have seen and the otherperson hasn't, and we're just
like you should watch that wehave, but neither of us have
seen this yet.

Wilson (06:01):
Neither one of us have seen weapons, but we, neither
one of us have seen weapons, butwe're going to see it tomorrow
Or-ish maybe it was rocking 100%on Rotten Tomatoes.
Yeah, we're going to talk theshit out of it.
Next episode.

Captain (06:12):
And it's about Sorry, I know.

Jay (06:14):
I, I don't hear what it's about.
Yeah, don't, don't do that.

Captain (06:17):
Well, I mean, how are we going it?

Wilson (06:21):
You're going to have to fucking kill me.
And also everyone's quoting hercharacter from Fantastic Four.

Jay (06:28):
Oh yeah, I held your end, or whatever.
Yeah, I held your end.
Oh yeah, she's Silver Surfer.

Captain (06:36):
That was so good.
I love her.
Her, and what did you say?
That guy's name was Housemaker.

Wilson (06:43):
Oh, Paul.
Paul Walter, paul Walter Hauser, yeah, did you see, wolfman,
that was the other movie.

Captain (06:49):
Yes, yeah, we did see that.
How was that?
I heard she carried the movie.
She does, yeah, she does carrythe movie.
It was so it was fine, it wasmid.

Wilson (06:59):
That's with Kit Harington right.
Or is that totally off base?

Captain (07:03):
I'm thinking of another movie.

Wilson (07:05):
I'm thinking of another movie, I guess.

Jay (07:07):
He's in the Eternals, that's not what I'm thinking of.

Captain (07:13):
He's in something called Game of Thrones.
He's hairy like a wolf.

Wilson (07:15):
What he looks like a wolf he is in a movie that has
something to do with wolves.

Captain (07:22):
Wolves are out.
The side set Wolves are likeout.
Oh my gosh.
Besides that, the Beast Withinfrom 2024.
Oh, you know, speaking ofwolves.
A couple of episodes ago I wastelling you about an alien
necromancer that raises children.

Jay (07:36):
As one does and you were like what the fuck, that old
chestnut?
And I the Austin Powers line,an alien necromancer on an alien
planet that's raising kids, andI, the awesome powers alien
necromancer on an alien planet.

Captain (07:48):
That's raising kids.
Anyway, you were like blown andI was like I don't fucking know
, and anyway it's called raisedby wolves yeah if you want to
watch it.

Wilson (07:56):
It's not like a like a, an english class book.
What am I thinking of?

Jay (08:01):
it's probably some book, but it's you think of red riding
hood.

Captain (08:04):
No, there, what am I thinking of?
It's probably some book, butit's You're thinking of Red
Riding.

Wilson (08:07):
Hood.

Jay (08:07):
No, there's some English like ninth grade English class
book about like wolves and pigs.

Captain (08:10):
You have the three little pigs.

Wilson (08:11):
He huffed and puffed.
It was like a kid that wasraised by wolves and it's like,
oh, literary classic.

Jay (08:17):
Oh yeah, I mean that's.

Captain (08:17):
I mean the Jungle Book's based on a boy who was
basically raised by baloo baloo?

Jay (08:24):
no, it was a boy who was basically feral.

Captain (08:29):
He was raised by wild animals um are you thinking of
the childhood classic of like hecried?

Wilson (08:41):
well, no, it was like a uh, I have.

Captain (08:46):
I can't say I love that one um like walked no, no, I
think of tarzan, I think of him.

Jay (08:57):
There's a scene where he fights a gorilla.
I'm like bruh never, asilverback.
You're fighting a silverbackfor dominance in the group.

Wilson (09:07):
Really Well.
I tried to search high schoolbook wolves.
I think I'm gonna need to giveit a little more information
than that, probably.

Jay (09:18):
Anyway, that's all I got 90s anime or early aughts anime
called Wolf's Reign, with abunch of boys that can turn into
wolves.

Captain (09:25):
Look at who you're talking to.

Wilson (09:26):
And dystopian feet.
It was on Adult Swim.
Now I'm wondering if they werejust like wolves that had
sentient thoughts and there wereno humans, I don't know.
Are you just thinking ofTwilight that?

Jay (09:35):
sounds pretty good.
Yeah, you know what you got methe skin of a killer.
Bella I still haven't seen thatmovie.
I feel bad.
You should watch it.

Wilson (09:43):
It's not good, like watch it.
I still want to watch it.
It's like a good fall movie.
Okay, I'll do that.

Captain (09:48):
Oh my gosh Sorry, I just Sorry.

Wilson (09:51):
Where is this leading you?
I just had a brain blast.

Captain (09:54):
No, this is unrelated Entirely.
I was thinking about Dexter.

Wilson (09:57):
Okay, yeah.

Captain (09:59):
And the Gemini Killer.
Oh, what a great episode.
I don't know, I mean by thetime this comes out.
Anyway, gemini, yeah you hadyour chance.

Wilson (10:06):
Actually, the season might almost be done when this
episode comes out, but I loveBecause I was upset.
I love 9.5.

Captain (10:13):
It's pretty good.

Wilson (10:14):
Yeah, it was a pretty good episode.
Do you know how many episodeswe're getting?

Captain (10:26):
Are we getting like 8, 10, 12?
Anyway, I just realized.
I, like the last time I saw theguy that plays a gemini killer.
It's in a night of night withthe devil.

Wilson (10:30):
What's that called the the late night with the devil?
Oh, that was a good movie.
Yeah, and he does that role.
He's got the meaty little eyesand yeah, he's good at those
like skeevy looking he has alook, you know he does have a
look he's getting roles.

Captain (10:42):
It's not bad.
Yeah, he can.
No, it's not bad at all, buthis face gives like a.

Wilson (10:47):
I can really easily play a creepy character.

Jay (10:49):
He plays into it, he knows his role.

Wilson (10:51):
Oh yeah.

Captain (10:52):
He's not going to tan salons, he's found his spot.

Wilson (10:55):
Yeah, he's not tanning up.

Captain (10:56):
Yeah, he's not getting bronze, he's like you also said,
you saw 28 Days Later.
I know I haven't seen it.

Jay (11:03):
Oh yeah, how was that Weeks ?

Captain (11:04):
later, sorry, years later, years Nothing.

Jay (11:08):
I mean, I did see it 28 Days, what's?

Wilson (11:10):
that I mean we did the podcast episode two.
Yeah seriously.
But yeah, 28 Years Later, Iwon't give you any spoilers.
I did like it.
To me it felt like a Disneymovie story with blood and guts.

Captain (11:26):
What Did you re-watch the other movies?

Wilson (11:29):
No, but I watched a 10-minute recap video See.

Captain (11:32):
I think I need to re-watch the other movies.
28.

Jay (11:34):
Weeks is kind of out there.
It has really nothing to dowith 28 Days.
It really doesn't.
And this one, neither you don'tneed to have seen the other.

Wilson (11:41):
You just need to know they exist.

Jay (11:43):
Okay to have seen the other .
Like you just need to know theyexist.
Okay, but um, it is a goodmovie.
It's just a weird vibe,interesting, the trailer's weird
.
I don't know if you've seen thetrailer.
Yeah, weird, yeah, so I wouldrecommend it.

Wilson (11:53):
I mean, they're gonna do like two more oh really yeah,
they already have like 28decades later letterbox.
Like the titles are in therelike oh my gosh, yeah, okay 28
decades later, it's just uh, thesilo tv show that's it's

Captain (12:09):
a prequel?
Yeah, it's like, yeah, oh yeah, centuries later is alien and
then I know that um, I meanwe're seeing freak your fr
Friday.

Wilson (12:22):
I'm sure you're jelly.

Jay (12:26):
I would rather see Weapons than Freak your Friday
personally.

Wilson (12:29):
Just do Double Feature tomorrow.
Drive four hours, watch aDouble Feature, go to work the
next day.
Jesus Christ, you can pull itoff.

Captain (12:42):
And then the one other thing I wanted to mention is
Wednesday started WednesdaySeason 2.
You watched Wednesday Season 1.
You could pull it off.
And then the one other thing Iwanted to mention is um,
wednesday started wednesdayseason two oh, yeah, you watched
wednesday season one I did.

Wilson (12:49):
Okay, I did hear um there was a review that like
this season.
People are like, oh well, wednesday's not really the
central character in thisanymore and they're like, well,
that's okay, it's like it's moreof an adams family, right
season rather than just like allWednesday, which sure okay yeah
these are mixed reviews.

Captain (13:09):
How?

Jay (13:11):
many episodes are out.
There's only like four, right,I think they split it.

Captain (13:16):
They almost do that now .

Jay (13:18):
I think so I'm starting to appreciate that again, I'm
watching weekly, but at the sametime I hate it.

Wilson (13:23):
I love it.
I like watching Dexter weekly, but I also hate it.

Jay (13:26):
I have noticed that, like Netflix, when they split seasons
like the reviews are like thisseason split like Squid Games,
they're like like oh they reviewbomb it yeah like Squid Games

(13:47):
season another season, oh yeah,um, but like they get dinged for
that because it like I mean, Ialso hate it.

Wilson (13:50):
I don't I don't hold it against the show.
I think I'm annoyed with um.
Honestly, I'm most annoyed withstranger things.
This final season they're doingthree releases I, that's I'm
like we have waited a decade.
Just please provide all alsowhat the last episode or
whatever comes out on new year'sday or something like that, or
new year's eve and I'm like,wait, really, yeah, there's
something stupid like that.

Captain (14:11):
I mean, there are probably a lot of people that
just sit at home and chill, which well, yeah, but like if
you have stuff to do and thenlike the like the biggest
episode everyone's waiting for, yeah and they're like okay, well
, when you're busiest, we'regonna release it and then you
can see spoilers.
I think you read aboutWednesday splitting, wednesday
splitting.
Well, I wasn't doubting him.

Wilson (14:32):
Yeah, it's like four episodes.

Captain (14:33):
Yeah, currently this season's ratings are a little
bit lower than last season'sratings.

Wilson (14:38):
It's also like this whole thing with like shows take
forever now to get a secondseason and it's like you forget
about the show you have tore-watch, like we started
re-watching.

Jay (14:47):
Yeah yeah, and I don't know if it's just because the actors
are so busy that they have tolike, plan around their schedule
or if it's just the directorssometimes are busy.

Wilson (14:55):
Um, I don't know I did see for um silo, like the actors
pushed, like they alreadystarted filming.

Captain (15:02):
Season four and season three is not out, yet they like
finished and they're, just likeyou're caught up on silent I am
caught up oh, love that show.

Jay (15:10):
I wonder, if the studios have any part in that.
They're like really slow toapprove a new season of the show
.
I think they are more cautiousthese days of like approving
stuff because they've lost a lotof money.
I mean post-covid everythingkind of changed, um.

Wilson (15:21):
So I I get that, but I just you know there's just
there's too long between seasons, like I don't want to wait two
years for the next season.

Jay (15:28):
So for Stranger Things, each episode's almost a movie
yes, but it's like it needs toend now.

Wilson (15:34):
Yeah, they can, I've loved every season, but like we
need to, we need to close thisup yeah, visually actually.

Jay (15:41):
I kind of don't mind that.
So the gap lets you like kindof forget about it, like like I
forgot all about the show andthey're like, hey, season five.
So I'm like, oh yeah, strangerthings, I really like that show.
How much I like that show likeit's like yeah almost game of
thrones level.

Wilson (15:54):
When you're watching it, you're like, oh damn, this is
good, I'm gonna, I'm gonnarestart it again, because I
re-watched all of it wheneverthe last season came out, we
might have to.

Jay (16:01):
We haven done that, but we might do it because it's the
last season we haven'tre-watched anything.
For the last I'm going to ohyeah, we haven't watched the
first season since the firsttime we watched it.

Captain (16:07):
Yeah, we never re-watched any of it.
Almost like yeah, 10 years ago.

Jay (16:17):
Because it's like such a commitment.
I'm like, okay, it's a lot for.

Captain (16:20):
Yeah, but that's easy.

Jay (16:22):
I mean, the episodes are kind of long.
It's a 10-episode season, thefirst one, I believe.

Wilson (16:27):
I mean, if you're trying to watch Walking Dead or Lost,
you can blow through StrangerThings, but that was months we
were watching these things.
Well, you have time.
If you start now, you can justcoast along with Stranger Things
.

Jay (16:38):
Walking Dead is good.
In the beginning we werechewing through that, yeah, that
tv.

Captain (16:42):
Well, the first season sticks up at peace like we're
gonna get through, yeah, yeah,um.
One other thing, and this isjust reminding me because you're
not fully done watching it, butfrom season three you're almost
done, almost yeah, I'm gettingthere love that show.
They have started filmingalready, because I I followed
them on instagram so I see whenthey start filming.

(17:02):
They started filming back inJune, so they're already filming
season four.

Wilson (17:05):
I'm curious how the show's gonna end yeah, I can see
it getting you gotta go back, yeah, I don't?

Captain (17:12):
yeah, very yeah, like I'm trying to figure out what
story they're trying to telllike yeah all of them, it's like
is this gonna keep going onforever.
They're gonna end this thingsome things you know, the fact
that Michael's still in thereand the fact that if they answer
a question, six more questionspop up.
It's giving Lost a little bit.

Jay (17:33):
I don't mind that right now I mean the creators of Lost.
We'll see how the next seasongoes.

Captain (17:37):
It should come out in 2026, but they're already
filming.

Wilson (17:41):
It's in the works.
It'll probably take me an extrayear to even start on that.
The main character, the sheriff, I still hate him from.

Captain (17:47):
Lost.

Jay (17:48):
Like I hated his character in Lost Well he's Walt.

Captain (17:50):
No, no, his son was Walter.

Wilson (17:52):
His son was Walt, yeah.

Captain (17:53):
And he was Michael, but his new role?
What's his name in this show?

Jay (17:58):
Sheriff McStupidhead.

Wilson (18:00):
Burr, Burr, Burba.

Captain (18:02):
Boyd Boyd.

Wilson (18:03):
Yeah, I got there.

Captain (18:06):
He's giving Boyd honestly, he's despicable.
He's giving Boyd.

Wilson (18:09):
Oh my goodness.
And again has like a weirdrelationship with his son.
I mean I guess he's not stolenthis time.

Captain (18:14):
But yeah, but the estrangement.
Yeah, they were like scoot inhere.
We'll just switch your namearound.

Wilson (18:26):
Overall.

Captain (18:26):
I think I haven't watched other.

Wilson (18:27):
So mgm shows I've only seen the institute.
And from I don't know what theother ones are like.
The acting is generally prettygood.
And from yeah, besides, um,what's her face?

Captain (18:34):
tabitha.

Jay (18:35):
Yeah, you don't like she have an accent or not I feel
like sometimes it's there andsometimes I don't know it's kind
of giving like um Gadot.

Captain (18:43):
Yes, oh, people do not like that lady's acting.

Wilson (18:47):
No, it's not good it's really not good.
It's very not good theInstitute acting's not so good,
I don't know.

Jay (18:54):
I thought it was like halfway through the first season
.
I was like wait, does she havean accent or not?
I can't tell which one she'strying, like she's either trying
to have an, I'm trying not tohave one, but either way it
comes in and out, yeah.

Wilson (19:03):
so I can't tell what what's the actual, but it's also
just not like.
Accent aside, her acting's notgood.
Yeah, I don't know if anyone'sacting is that great like, like,
I mean her boy's good and herhusband's good well, boy doesn't
have it.

Captain (19:17):
He's basically michael.
There's not a lot of rangethere.

Wilson (19:19):
You think jim's good I think he's pretty good, the
daughter's's good.

Captain (19:22):
I like Jade the son is annoying Jade the guy that goes
crazy.
I like his acting.

Wilson (19:26):
And the lady that runs the colony house?

Jay (19:29):
Yeah, she's probably the best, oh, the older woman yeah,
she's good.

Captain (19:32):
What's her name?
I feel like I've seen her inother stuff.

Jay (19:34):
Colony house lady Donna in the show.
Oh yeah.

Captain (19:46):
But she's Elizabeth.
Um great show the, the girlthat does.
I think it's the girl that runsthe clinic that um kind of had
a thing with the kenny um,before her actual wife came back
into the picture.
You know right um dude thatgirl's hot as fuck like dude.
Seriously, I went to from castthe blonde or the the short hair
brunette, I forget who's theshort-haired brunette okay yeah,

(20:07):
um, I went to the cast and herphoto is like her modeling like
I can't really show thesemodeling like, but she's like a
model I can kind of see thatshe's like a model um it's like
when you're watching any koreanshow and you go to look at the
cast oh my god, and they arelike literally it's like are you
guys professional models on theside, like basically

Wilson (20:29):
the headshots are insane yeah, one of my gripes for that
show is or maybe it's just theydidn't provide a good recap,
but they keep referencing thingslike oh, are you okay after
what happened, and I'm like yougotta be more specific about
that.

Jay (20:45):
What?

Wilson (20:45):
happened with you guys.
Again, I don't yeah I you know.

Captain (20:48):
One last thing at victor, who plays an uh old man
that like stopped being aroundhumans when he was he?
He?
He plays that role of likebeing a stunted child.
So well, that's a really goodhe does.

Wilson (21:01):
Yeah, I've like I was for a while I was like what is
the age difference between himand the guy who plays his dad?

Jay (21:06):
Because I'm like I kind of thought they were like yeah,
they're kind of close in age.

Wilson (21:09):
I thought Victor was kind of old, but maybe he's not
as old as.

Captain (21:11):
I thought.
I just don't think he wastaught grooming well, so I don't
think.

Wilson (21:15):
Victor, he just looks old and frail.

Captain (21:18):
Yeah, I think.

Wilson (21:19):
Do you recognize his dad ?
It's interesting because I'mwatching the Institute and from
at the same time His dad's inboth shows.

Captain (21:25):
Oh really, which one's his dad?

Wilson (21:28):
His dad plays the doctor that Mary Louise Parker is like
kind of hooking up with in thelike.

Captain (21:35):
Oh, ok, yeah, Wow Interesting.

Wilson (21:38):
I was like I know that face.

Captain (21:40):
Weird, weird to see them at that.
I would hate to watch somethingwhere somebody's in both shows
at the same time.
Yeah, I was like that's weird, but at the same time I was like
well, from's been out for awhile.

Wilson (21:53):
So yeah, no, I mean it's not their fault, it's yours.
Okay, okay, all right.
Well, let's go in.

Jay (21:56):
Yeah, let's google henry's dad and from, and I got some
interesting fan it's victorvictor's dad and from, and I was
like oops, some theories spoilmyself.

Wilson (22:05):
I don't want to hear it spoil that okay, give it to me.
What do we got, uh, yeah uh,we're yeah, during a surf side,
I'm drinking surf side.
I'm not drinking surf sides.
I love this.

Captain (22:20):
I actually okay, we need to give this company money
blueberry honey money prairieartisanal ales and they make
blueberry boyfriend.
Ah, love this beer so good doesit give off blueberry boyfriend
?
It does and the artwork on thecan is so fun it is a fun, fun.
I don't think I've seen thesein our living situation what we

(22:41):
don't have, I have a raspberrygirlfriend, but well, I have a
blueberry boyfriend and um, it'sreally good good he's hot oh no
wow, that's a great reference.

(23:02):
Okay, give it to me, to me.

Wilson (23:04):
Yeah, let's bop in here.
So welcome to the 176th episodeof the Red Rum Podcast, where
we review horror movies whileenjoying a little beverage or
two.

Captain (23:13):
And I'm Captain.

Wilson (23:14):
And I'm Wilson and we also have Big Pod Energy, aka
Jay.

Captain (23:19):
I thought you were going to be like big boy.

Wilson (23:23):
Jay and week we're reviewing the 2019 horror film
the Cleansing.

Captain (23:29):
Hour, I'm sorry, directed by Damien Levesque,
yeah.

Wilson (23:34):
So he also did.
A Creature Was Stirring from2023.
I don't.
I'm not familiar with that.
It sounds intense.

Captain (23:40):
Particular feature.
Is that a Christmas movie?

Wilson (23:43):
It sounds like a Christmas moviemas, oh it could
be a good uh holiday film if youdon't have one picked out yet
yeah, I love.
I think you already do a littleholiday jingle dang, oh yeah
and now I have them saved, so Ican just slip them in there and
like look every year um thismovie started sorry.
Oh yeah, yeah so, uh, thismovie started as a short film in
2016, um, and it's a shutteroriginal yeah, which is unusual

(24:06):
um but and what I'm not?

Captain (24:08):
I mean I don't really watch much of shutter, yeah
unusual in the fact, like thefact, like the shutter has even
had originals.

Wilson (24:15):
Make them, yeah, okay, yeah because I kind of thought
for a long I mean maybe it'strue for the longest time they
mostly just showed movies thatalready existed.
I didn't know.
This was like shutter networkmade this bitch existed.

Captain (24:24):
I didn't know.
This was like shutter networkmade this bitch made it didn't
um.
It was like shutter plus usaa,or sorry usaa did dexter nope,
nope, sorry, chucky wasn't, itwasn't what happening Wasn't.

Wilson (24:43):
Chucky like a Shudder and USA combined show.

Captain (24:47):
That sounds like that.
Oh, the actual TV show that is,oh yeah, the recent TV show.
I thought you were talkingabout Child's Planet.

Jay (24:54):
I was like man.
No one of those existed, no Ithink you might be right.

Wilson (25:00):
I never finished that show.
Oh, apparently Shudder did.
We didn't finish the secondseason.

Captain (25:03):
Shudder did.
Vhs Beyond Shudder did that.

Jay (25:06):
I don't.
I haven't seen VHS.
I think I just saw VHS 1 and 2.
I saw 1 and 2, yeah, it was the2024 one.

Captain (25:11):
I don't think it had good reviews.

Jay (25:13):
Yeah, vhs 2 was, I think, the one I liked.

Wilson (25:25):
It has that like did apparently that that was a
shutter film.
Oh oh, really well, it's prettygood quality.
That was a pretty good.

Jay (25:28):
I hate that movie it was very like goopy and like it was
very, but it was very wellexecuted.
I thought oh yeah, it was.

Captain (25:32):
I think that when they say, like I'm on the google,
that or the wiki, that's likeshutter original programming.
I don't know how much they'reinvolved, like I don't know what
this means.
Like it says shutter originalfilms, but it doesn't really
give like specifics about likedid they goop?

Wilson (25:45):
it was, I think they distributed.
This says there's oh, theproduction company was scuba on
scuba.

Captain (25:53):
I don't know what that means yeah, like I don't know
what this involvement means whenit says original film shutter
probably just like bought therights okay, but this one
actually like, said like shutterI don know what to tell you.

Jay (26:05):
Was it Shudder Studios?
That's the question you'reprobably asking.

Wilson (26:09):
Do they have a development?

Jay (26:10):
studio that actually produced it, versus just buying
this from a different studio.

Wilson (26:13):
I'm going to do a deep dive sometime and figure that
out.

Jay (26:15):
I think it was.
It felt like a horror-y TVchannel movie kind of In terms
of the scale of it, um, but itwas pretty good they have a lot
of exclusives like a lot.

Captain (26:29):
What does that mean like?

Wilson (26:31):
I guess you can only watch the movie or show on oh on
shutter, yes that's all I gotum yep, so people about um.
That brings us into the cast.
So we have ryan guzman whoplays max um.
He was a martial art mixedmartial arts fighter and a print

(26:52):
model um he was in this step-uprevolution.
I didn't watch the step-upmovies.
Is that like a sequel?

Captain (26:59):
okay, I didn't watch them either.
I can't.
I mean magic mike's the onlydancing movie I've spent any
time watching, and I don't knowif I'd watch anything else.

Wilson (27:06):
Okay uh, he was in pretty little liars and he was a
main role in a 911.
The show is called 911 yeah, the.
Yeah, it's called 9-1 okay um,then we also have kyle, gallner,
I think we know him.

Captain (27:20):
He looks familiar.
Yeah, he's in a lot of stuff weknow he's like a scream king.
Oh, I think um he's in a lot ofstuff.
We know him.
He's like a.

Wilson (27:26):
Scream King.
Oh, I think he's in Wet, hotAmerican Summer.
Colin in Jennifer's Body.
He was in the remake ofNightmare on Elm Street.

Captain (27:33):
He's in the 2022 Scream .

Wilson (27:36):
He's also in Both Smiles .

Captain (27:38):
Yeah, he's the main boyfriend, I think to the girl,
or.

Wilson (27:42):
How is he in both?
Was it like archived footage or?

Captain (27:44):
what I don't know?
He's Joel.
I don't know.

Jay (27:46):
I think the boyfriend survives, and that's how the
second one starts.

Wilson (27:50):
It's following him, oh, so he's like not really in the
second one, or he's like in thesecond one, I don't know.

Jay (27:55):
He's in it for a little bit , oh, okay.

Captain (27:59):
I really like the Smile movies.

Wilson (28:00):
They do them great that you had no business being as
good as it was for a sequel.

Captain (28:04):
They put way more money into.

Jay (28:06):
When I saw this coming, I was like, oh, here we go.
Did you send me the?

Captain (28:08):
behind the scenes or I sent you the behind the scenes
for that who knows it was creepylike I was.

Jay (28:13):
Like they did a good job.

Wilson (28:14):
Yeah, it's not like a lot of its practical effects for
that, for that monster at theend, which I think is.
But that entire movie issponsored by boss water like
yeah, she's chugging yeah but uh, yeah, so he's the most known
person.
He is yeah, um, we also havealex angelus as lane, also known

(28:35):
as sabrina she they're called.

Captain (28:36):
She calls.
She's called sabrina for thecleansing hour youtube video,
but her name is lane in themovie oh right, like she has two
characters, they gave her acharacter name.
Inside the movie she getsanother character name.

Wilson (28:49):
I have not watched Imaginary, but she's in
Imaginary.

Captain (28:51):
Yeah, the 2024 teddy bear movie.

Wilson (28:54):
I don't think it did very well, but I do want to
watch it.

Jay (28:56):
It's like an evil imaginary friend or something Okay.

Wilson (28:59):
And then we have Joanna David as Schoolmarm.

Captain (29:03):
The older lady that is haunting them Schoolmm.
The older lady that is hauntingthem School Marm?
I don't know what's the namefor it.

Wilson (29:09):
Like a Catholic church teacher.

Captain (29:12):
Marmy, oh yeah.

Wilson (29:14):
Lots of theater and British stuff is what she's
known for.

Captain (29:18):
Okay, when I typed on her.
There was so much on there andI didn't recognize any of it Is
that what nun teachers arecalled School Marms, it seems
derogatory.

Wilson (29:27):
I've never.
Is that what nun teachers arecalled School marms?
It seems derogatory Marm, Idon't know, oh, school marm.

Captain (29:31):
It says school mistress in reference to a woman that's
usually regarded as prim, strictand brisk in manner.

Jay (29:39):
Yeah, that's not a compliment.

Captain (29:41):
I guess it says alternatively school ma'am.

Wilson (29:44):
School ma'am.
Oh, marm is fine.
School ma'am.

Captain (29:47):
School ma'am.
Oh, marm is fine.
School ma'am.
Yeah, like your whole, like whoyou identify as is like just
school woman.
School ma'am.

Jay (29:57):
I love my plane.

Captain (29:58):
Yeah, exactly, it was at Jurassic Park.
This lady is plane.
Yeah, he's just like that, butno one touch my plane.
Okay so we got school marm.
Uh, okay, I think that's thelast of the.
That's mostly a small cast.
Yeah, it is very small cast.
It was like the guy that thevoice actor for sabrina was

(30:18):
somebody, but I was like I don'trecognize I saw that too.

Wilson (30:20):
I was like they're in stuff.
But yeah, but it's all voiceacting yeah uh, but it was good
voice acting um great sobasically the premise of this
movie is there is a, this guyruns a tv show a youtube show,
basically that, um, he doespossessions, um, I think the
first scene of this, the thingyou don't realize he's doing a

(30:43):
show just yet but I love the waythey did that.

Captain (30:45):
You're in the middle of a scene where they're like
throwing holy water on a vampireand he's like, ah, and it's
like smoking um, and what ademon or this person oh, that
was a oh.
No, sorry you're right when Ifirst saw that, I was like is
this a vampire?
No, you're right, it was thisperson.
But um the the like, there'slike some acting that's

(31:07):
happening in there, with likethe seat shoving around like oh
yeah, shot up and yeah I don'tknow something about that action
sequence was giving like theaction you see in a steven
seagal movie.
It was like very punchy, likevery like choppy?
I don't know um, but yeah, itlike pans out and it'd be like
it's like we're.

Wilson (31:25):
You know it's like a computer screen yeah, video
playing and the scene like kindof wraps and they're like oh,
good job on the stunts.

Captain (31:32):
Don't forget to like and subscribe.
Yeah, punch that like button orwhatever.

Wilson (31:36):
Yeah yeah, so this father max guy is basically,
he's like pretending to be like,oh, I'm doing these actual live
exorcisms yeah, possessed,possessed people get
exercorcised every week on theiror whatever every episode.

Captain (31:51):
And then we, I think shortly after that, we meet Drew
, who's the guy behind thescenes, and they've been best
friends for a little while andhe, like, does all of the I
don't know directing, scripting,I don't know all of that stuff.

Wilson (32:03):
The editing, that kind of stuff, yeah, so they're like
planning their next episode andthey hired, like a, I guess, a
drag queen to be the possessedperson.
Oh yeah, scarlett VanCock, yeah, and.

Captain (32:15):
The thing is, max really wants to be verified.
He doesn't have the blue checkmark and they want to get more
than 50.
They've been like basicallyhitting 50K subscribers and they
like they've been sitting still, so like they want to do
something that is gonna like getthem more and go viral max was
like let's just hire my friend, this drag queen um drew.
On the other hand, was like no,we need to like branch out and

(32:35):
do other stuff like ghostseances, um, but you know they
don't agree.
I, I don't agree on that and Ifeel like max has the final say
because he's like the face ofthe yeah, it's like his show
basically yeah, um, and.

Wilson (32:50):
But the drag queen gets like killed in an alleyway by
like some demon thing, yeah.
So I mean, yeah, it's, I don'tknow, yeah, there's some
criticism on this of, likethey're like, why did they the
whoever wrote this movie pick, like let's just pick a drag
queen and then just kill them,oh, online.

(33:11):
It was just like, why did youhave a drag character and then
choose to have, like, thatcharacter die a very miserable?

Captain (33:19):
painful death.

Jay (33:21):
I could see criticism for that, yeah, and the whole setup
is kind of, you know, questionable because it's like,
hey, let's get this drag queenon here so we can get a bunch of
, you know, a bunch of morelikes.
It's like kind of I don't know,like I mean, they're not trying
to, but it's a littledehumanizing and a little like I

(33:41):
read that into like yeah, buthe did it's entertainment.
He's not.
He's not portrayed as like somedeep thinker or some like very
socially conscious person.

Captain (33:48):
He's just like max doesn't say him, he himself does
not say anything no, no, he'slike my friend, oh, yeah, yeah
whatever you know their dragname, scarlet van cock.

Wilson (33:58):
I you know we should bring him on, yeah, so um,
obviously the drag queen doesnot show up because they are
dead um so as a last-ditcheffort they're like.

Jay (34:08):
Drew asks his fiancee girlfriend to lane yeah, to be
the possessed person it's likethese creepy monsters are
outside.
I guess that's the same entitythat ends up.

Captain (34:18):
Yeah, they kind of talk about it in the later on in the
movie, but it's basically like,um, what she's saying.
You know you, you poke the bull, you eventually get the horns.
So it's like you know the factthat they keep like pretending
to exercise him.
They're like, well, you'regonna get a demon if you keep
like trying to get a demon yeahum, but so I think that's what I

(34:38):
think it's kind of the samekind of entity but it's all one
evil entity.
I think so, yeah, but um, wealso get more personality, like,
yeah, max is not a good, he nota priest, he's not a good guy
Like we before this showing Well, he did go to divinity school.

Wilson (34:52):
Yeah, exactly.

Captain (34:53):
Before this showing he well, yeah, but he's like having
one night stands with womenpretending to be a priest.

Wilson (34:59):
He did quit, or he got ousted or something.

Captain (35:02):
Yeah, so we hear about that that he goes home with a
woman named desiree and hetaught he.
She says, like you're not apriest, right, like they were
fucking.
And he was like, no, but I didwant to be a priest.
But they, he tells her I wantedto be a priest.
I went to school but basicallylike I wanted to do exorcisms
and they were like, nah, youcan't do that, we're not doing
that.
So he quits to do exorcisms, solike I don't know, and he

(35:26):
basically said like he taughthimself how to do it.
Then he also makes a weirdreference that he wants to be
like another archangel, likemichael.
That's on the front line of likesome religious war with it with
like evil and I was like allright, sir you, literally just
pretend to do exorcisms formoney like relax, yeah, um, but

(35:47):
yeah.

Wilson (35:47):
So then, yeah, skylar vancocke rip, and then they go
to taping the next production, but she's not there yeah, so so
they bring lane in, and veryquickly it turns out like she's
not following the cues of the,the lines when they start
recording, and then like veryquickly you find out okay,
lane's possessed yeah like thisis a real possession and they're

(36:09):
like you know what.
What's going on?
Why aren't you following thecues?

Captain (36:12):
and then they start to realize it's like oh, this is uh
and even like chris the boomguy, he's affected like he
thinks that he just had like badpills from the party night
before.

Wilson (36:22):
I don't know what's going on with him, but he's like
vomiting.

Captain (36:24):
He's ill.
He like faints, he like seessome like a demon in the
bathroom mirror that like chokeshim out.
At one point the sink waterruns red.
I think it's all like the sameentity, but it's affecting him
too and he's like missing in thebathroom for like half the
movie.

Wilson (36:38):
Yeah, oh yeah, he's like passed out in there, um.
And then I think there's likeanother like sound guy.
Well, basically, the demonslike has these rules so it's
like one you can't stopstreaming, um you can't leave
the stage or, like somebody else, can't come on, and um one of
you can't enter the shot if youdon't belong in the shot.
Yeah, so one of the guys thatworks on the set like runs I

(36:59):
think his name's max.

Captain (37:01):
Yeah, no, that's the past.
That's the priest, yeah ohsorry, no, you're right.
Yeah, I can't remember what hisname was.

Wilson (37:07):
I don't know he runs off when he's not supposed to and
he's just immediately killed.

Captain (37:12):
Yeah, she does that cool thing where she burns.
He has a phoenix tattoo and shebasically starts burning it
like a phoenix burning and hethen just combusts into flames
that guy.
So that's the first death andthey're all like, okay, this is
real.
I really like that scene thatDrew grabs a fire extinguisher
and the fire extinguisher justmakes the flames worse.
It's like a flamethrower, yeah,it's like literally he just put

(37:34):
gasoline on the man and so thisdemon's having like fun this
entire time and they can't call911.

Wilson (37:42):
They are getting more views while it's happening.
Yeah, but yeah.

Captain (37:45):
I think she, yeah.
Then she yeah I don't know ifshe.
I think she might have laid therules down after that guy tried
to run off.
And she's like you cut the feed, I kill the girl.
Max, you go off screen, I killthe girl, anyone runs, I kill
you.
And then she's likecongratulations, you have 49
minutes to lift the veil ofwhat's.
You know what's happening.

(38:12):
Yeah, oh yeah, because theyalso need to.
They need to find the name ofthe demon because that's like
the premise.

Wilson (38:15):
You gotta find the name.
You can like exercise it.
Yeah, you gotta find the scriptthat goes along with that demon
for exorcism.

Captain (38:18):
Yeah, yeah, so um, uh, I think it cuts to.
I think around this scene yeah, you're right, the numbers go
but it cuts to people from likeall over the world watching like
a little kid and like, uh,people, you know, police
officers in korea.

Wilson (38:28):
Yeah, I was very confused what they were doing
with this.

Captain (38:30):
It makes sense later, but yeah, yeah, that person that
, like you know, she's likeletting her boyfriend's, like
fixing a car in the middle ofthe desert or something, and
she's yeah, so it's just showingdifferent perspectives of
people watching the show it getslike 300k.

Wilson (38:43):
Uh, like you know, people streaming, which is like
a lot for them and so the demonstarts like torturing the person
that it's possessing, um likethat she can't breathe or
something like that, and they'rerealizing that like to stop the
torture.

Captain (38:58):
Um max the priest or drew have to confess something
yeah, you get that scene wherefirst the demon's just still
fucking with them, or she waslike you know, um, do something
that the audience is telling youto do, and maybe I'll like let
her breathe.
So of course they're all likevulgar, disgusting things yeah,

(39:18):
well no that's the lightest one, yeah, that like, like they got
to choose, but the demons thatyou've got to pick something
from this dream and you know, people know, people are like,
yeah, you know fuck each other.

Wilson (39:28):
Yeah, whatever the fuck yeah.

Captain (39:29):
Just crazy shit.
And like the least, like themost PG one was like get naked,
so Max takes all his clothes offand then they do that thing
with the light and the ceilingthing the fan falls.

Wilson (39:41):
Yeah.

Captain (39:42):
So they make him play hokey pokey.

Jay (39:44):
Oh yeah, he has to stick his hand out into the fan.
Yeah, into the fan.
It's very.

Wilson (39:50):
I mean the whole thing was like you have to play hokey
pokey and like Well, yeah, butcouldn't you back up and then
play hokey pokey, like, do youhave to do it just so your
favorite?
The demon is not gonna.

Captain (39:59):
The whole thing is the demon wants you to hurt yourself
and he's like stepping on glass.
It's nasty, but they basicallylike regroup and they're like he
gets to kind of clean up andthen they yeah, then they I
think he decides that he wantsto really try to exercise, like
I think he tries.
Oh yeah, then the confession,yeah.

Wilson (40:18):
Yeah, so they realize like, for example, Max decides
to confess to the camera.
Like look guys, guys, I'm not areal priest I've been telling
you so prayer cloths, yeah, theydon't do anything.

Captain (40:30):
And then they're like, but then they realize, oh, that
wasn't what they wanted you toconfess yeah, because sabrina's
still or whatever lane is stillbleeding everywhere and like not
being able to breathe um, andthey realize at some point that
the demon wants more views.

Wilson (40:43):
Um, but then it comes out that max and uh lane had
hooked up once before.

Captain (40:52):
Uh lane and drew were together okay, but neither one
of them said anything about itand max had like videos of them
together yes, I do think thatdrew um Drew was a little too
mad.

Wilson (41:07):
I mean, yes, it's sleazy that he kept videos, but I feel
like he was angry enough as ifthey had actually cheated.

Captain (41:15):
Well, it's not that they cheated, but it does feel
like your best friend and yourloved one that you're going to
marry lied to you Straight toyour face.

Jay (41:24):
Yeah, For a long time.

Wilson (41:26):
And they're like in cahoots about it yeah, I mean I
don't think they were likeactively in cahoots, but it
feels that it would feel thatway, like it would feel that way
I can see both sides of it.

Jay (41:37):
I didn't like sometimes I I felt a little bit at first.
I was like, oh, that seems kindof like no, he reacts a little
too, but I mean the whole thingStressful, I don't know.

Wilson (41:47):
Yeah, but then the team's like I found a video and
we're going to play it.
Yeah.

Jay (41:51):
Yeah, the video's great, yeah, the video's like great,
and his excuse was just like Ithought I deleted it.
I was like oh my God, dude, yeah you know that man.
You know that man knew hebecause it's such a flimsy, just
like it was real fun, I thoughtI did it's like.
Oh, and earlier in the movie itshows him filming his encounter

(42:11):
with one of the groupies thatset that up too, like he films
her and he shows a video topeople on set of like you
remember that he like showed up.
Yeah, but he's hooked up withdesiree and that like sets up
the like oh, he keeps.

Captain (42:22):
Oh, I didn't realize he .
Yeah, he did so.

Jay (42:25):
He like films, all of his encounters, and then it's like
oh well then yeah, youdefinitely didn't delete this
video I before they confess likesome of the big stuff, like
that.

Captain (42:33):
Max also, um, like they don't, the demon doesn't like
his commission so he like bitestwo of his fingers off.
Max is so much more reluctantto admit that he is a big fat
phony, like he cares so muchmore about not admitting that.
And I'm like, sir, you lost twofingers.

Wilson (42:49):
Yeah, your life's entirely changed forever you
have a dead guy on the floor.
You have eight fingers.

Jay (42:55):
There's a dead guy on the floor and he's like it was like
his index and middle finger,it's not like just some fingers
on his dominant hand.
Yeah, and he's not that worriedabout.
Yeah, he really wasn.

Captain (43:05):
He really wasn't, and I was like sir, I don't think you
understand that matters so much, Aren't you?

Jay (43:09):
in a band you can't count anymore.

Captain (43:11):
Yeah, play instruments.

Jay (43:13):
I can still count if I lose two of my fingers.
This scene is not messingaround.
No, definitely not.

Wilson (43:18):
And all this time the views are rising and rising.
Yeah going crazy and they'rethe demon.

Captain (43:22):
oh, it likes this yeah, and the guy that got caught on
fire.
He hired his niece to comeintern.
She also tries to run off theset and the demon chucks a mary
statue and, like impales, herskull oh yeah, she's, she's also
yeah and I think you're right.
Yeah, they got like to amillion views, um, and then like
something about the bandwidth.

Wilson (43:41):
I don't know, I don't hack into the mainframe like
some people do, but somethingabout how they can't yeah, but
the demon was like activelydropping the yeah, but like, but
like I think they hit a million, oh, with that little monster
thing yeah, I don't know whatthat's about.

Captain (43:56):
I don't know if they just wanted a temporary
distraction or not I don't know, but drew, you know, hacks the
mainframe and like fixes itbecause they're about to like.
If they drop the stream, heknows that demon's gonna kill
lane.

Wilson (44:06):
Yeah so I think, through some context clues, they like
do some searching, they findwhat they believe is the demon's
name and they like there's thiswhole scene of like trying to
recite the exorcism for thatdemon, um, and like you know,
it's tough, they get throughthrough it.

Captain (44:24):
I think it's Amon is the demon.

Wilson (44:26):
It seems like it was depossessed.
It goes into the guy that gotburned.
Oh yeah, it does depossess thegirl.

Captain (44:39):
The biggest confession which I think happens before
this is we get these cut scenesof Drew and Max's childhood and
there's a school, marm, as we'vetalked about right then that
like abuses them, especially max, like throughout their whole
childhood.
Like they guess they went tocatholic school together and I
don't know, maybe they boththought about going to seminary.
They're both altar boys but umthe I don't know if it says in

(45:05):
the wiki, but Drew, at one pointafter long abuse he stabs the
school mom in the eye with apencil.
I think.

Wilson (45:14):
I think he accidentally did it, because a pencil fell
off the table, but he was justpushing her away.

Captain (45:20):
Oh, that's right, he just pushes her hard.

Wilson (45:21):
And she happened to fall straight onto a pencil.

Captain (45:25):
Okay, true, I forgot about that, but that woman's not
dead, right?

Wilson (45:29):
I mean, I think she's dead.
I think she died.

Captain (45:32):
So the biggest confession really was that he
killed somebody.

Wilson (45:34):
It was an accident, but yeah.

Captain (45:36):
Okay, yeah, and while he's reluctant to confess that
there's something happens inthere about he's going to kill
himself.
I think when there was like 15minutes left and this is before
they figure out, the demon, sabrina or whatever, like the
character says like you got 15minutes If you unburden

(45:57):
completely, 100%, you know, oryou have to kill yourself at the
end of this.
So like the demon puts up thelittle counter circle that's
like percent, and he just likekeeps confessing until it's out.

Wilson (46:10):
Yeah, I think the audience also has to.
I guess in the comments be likedon't oh, the audience is.
I think there's an interactionwell, no, I think like there's
supposed to be audienceinteraction yeah, I thought the
demon was like I think the demonwas like the audience needs to
collectively 100 agree that youshouldn't right kill yourself or
something, right, yeah?

Captain (46:28):
Oh, I thought the little counter was him
confessing 100%, I think he wasgaining their trust or something
by confessing oh.

Wilson (46:36):
Or like swaying their opinion.

Jay (46:37):
Yeah, to not have him hang himself.

Captain (46:39):
Well, he was almost going to kill himself At this
point I wrote down.
They had 11.5 million watching, which is crazy.

Wilson (46:45):
Yeah, and he got to like 97% and then it wasn't enough.

Captain (46:49):
That's when he confesses the non-killing, yeah,
but yeah, I think he almostgets to 100, but that's when
Lane and Max confess that theyslept together and that gets
them, I think, everywhere, yeah, and then I think so they do the
exorcism or something, confessthat they slept together, and
that gets them, I think every, you know, everywhere, yeah, and
then I think this, so they dothe exorcism or something.

Wilson (47:10):
But at some point they do realize that, oh, the demon
wants to be watched.
Yes, it was right around this.

Captain (47:15):
They unplug drug yeah, drug drew cuts the feed.
Basically to try to get thedemon to interact.
Because the demon stoppedinteracting.
It basically was like about tokill lane and then like she's
like passed out half it's likemostly dead my bluff yes and
yeah.
Cutting the feed.

Wilson (47:30):
Yeah, she was mad as hell so then, after this like
failed exorcism, it comes likeit turns into this big horned
lava demon and it's like, oh,that's not the right name.
I am like lucifer, like I'mlike the big bad, yeah, um, and
this whole time they were tryingto figure out like why, why

(47:51):
does he want to be broadcasted?
Um, so like the scene there iskind of solved, but then it cuts
to like I guess well, so theytry an incantation for amon,
which doesn't work right, because it's lucifer, yeah, and
then basically, lucifer giveshis own incantation to the
audience Because he's mic'd up?

(48:11):
Yeah, because he now has like 11million, I think he might have
had more.

Captain (48:15):
Yeah, he had 11.5 whenI was marking.

Wilson (48:20):
Yeah, so that incantation anyone that was
watching, like all these peoplewe saw throughout the movie.
They basically get these whiteeyes and then they kill
whoever's closest yeah, theybecome the white eye crazies
yeah and then I guess, after theworld's fine, after all, these
people die.
But one of them one of them isa kid that's been watching this
the whole time.
He goes in and you find out hisdad is actually the president

(48:40):
and he you see him like, oh yeah, he kills the president ofs.

Captain (48:44):
Yeah, um, I, I, I do like so.
When the clock goes down tozero at the 60 minute mark, the
lucifer disappears.
He's gone, um, but obviouslythe people that were during this
filming they don't really getpossessed like, they don't get
the incantation that lucifergave I don't know.

Wilson (49:02):
That's because, like it wasn't through a screen or
whatever the fuck, I don't knowyeah, and my take is everyone
that got possessed, they did akill or something and then they
got deep.

Captain (49:12):
Maybe they did a kill.

Wilson (49:14):
Well, the people that killed all the people around
them after they possessed.
Do you think they stayedpossessed and just kept killing,
or they just did a kill.

Captain (49:24):
Did you not watch the credits?

Wilson (49:28):
There was a post-credits scene.

Captain (49:29):
There was scenes kind of spliced into the credits.

Wilson (49:33):
Maybe I didn't.
Okay, fill me in.

Captain (49:37):
Okay, so the people that are there don't get
possessed, which I just said, because one of the last scenes
of the movie is Max smiling athis phone because he finally got
his blue verified checkmark.

Wilson (49:49):
Okay, so I remember that scene.

Captain (49:51):
Just like the least of yours.

Wilson (49:52):
Oh yeah.

Captain (49:53):
Like, sir, you have eight fingers.
There's like multiple deadbodies in front of you.
It's bad, but anyway, in thepost-credit scenes it shows the
mayhem that's caused from whatwhat they have is.
It's like there's news articlesthat say the white-eyed crazies
are like out released orwhatever, and it says that like

(50:13):
um, you know it's causing likechaos everywhere, um, they
declared martial, martial, martial law um, which is like,
clearly from my understanding,is that, like you know, they
just kept killing and they keptlike, like, like zombies, like
it's like here's.
Here's how the walking deadstarted.
Okay, is what is what I wasgetting from that okay, yeah,

(50:34):
yeah, I missed that then.

Wilson (50:35):
Okay, so that answers that it says around the world.

Captain (50:38):
You know, wiki says oh yeah, all those people that
watch it like yeah yeah, yeah, and I think that's that's why
they gave us those cut scenes ofpeople watching, which is
really helpful.

Wilson (50:47):
Yeah, now it makes sense .

Captain (50:48):
It was like when we were watching, I was like yeah,
even those cops that you weresaying Was that in Korea?

Wilson (50:52):
you said yeah, Something like yeah.

Captain (50:54):
Yeah, like that.
One cop just points his gun andshoots at the guy next to him
in the car.
Yeah, the US president getskilled and yeah, all the other
people we see watching, theyjust yeah, um, I really like
this movie, yeah, so like Ithink the idea sounds really
stupid, but like the ratingswere really good.
So when I watched it I was like, you know, I I was expecting a

(51:17):
good movie, but I was notexpecting how no, this movie was
hard to find.

Wilson (51:21):
It was a shutter original.

Captain (51:22):
I was like this is not gonna be good, but they the
execution, the, the story itselfof like we're a youtube channel
, but you know everything's fake, and like we're just, you know
whatever gets us money.
Like yeah I don't know.
They did that well, they didthe.
I don't know.
They explained the backgroundof the main characters the
effects were pretty good thespecial effects were great.

(51:42):
The demon at the end or luciferat the end, where he has like
um, I don't know, he's got likethose smoke wings that come out
like.
It was really cool looking yeahum, actually, apparently a lot
of that was, yeah, it wasn'tspecial effects, like almost all
of it was practical effects.
But, um, yeah, I really yeah.
And him, like coming out of thedead body of the fire, you know

(52:06):
the charred body on the ground, like they go through that very
slowly where I hit, like thishuman skin breaks apart and like
a demon leg starts shooting outof it, like all the limbs it
does them like slowly, individually, and then his, like
you know his back opens up,like this carcass, you know a
human body carcass like, yeah, spine like cracks open and like
demon come out.

Wilson (52:26):
You're like it had no business being this good, so
good.
I was like this is a sleeper, hit honestly.

Captain (52:34):
Yeah, when the notes slow down, that's how you know
it's a good.
Yeah, it's a great movie.
But yeah, it's a lot of goop.
But they did that gooping scenereally well, I don't know.
What do you think, jay?

Jay (52:50):
it was really good.
I mean, I was.
I don't know what I wasexpecting, I didn't really see
any of the reviews beforehand, but um, it's just really fun.
I mean, you've seen a lot ofhorror movies and it just they
take an idea that's been done alot and they do something new
with it, which you wouldn'texpect is really possible, but I
haven't really seen anythinglike this, almost like it's.

Captain (53:11):
It's similar to like our found footage, but it's not
like shaky camera right, yeah,it's like we're watching a film
of a like, a like something, something filmed in a movie.
But you know, they just theyexecute really well yeah, I was
like.

Wilson (53:24):
You know, I feel like naturally, if I hear a movie's
gonna be like about streaming,I'm like, but no, this was yeah
I feel like we've done a few ofthose, but not too many the one
where there's the time, something about we just did
stream, yeah, so let's say ohyeah, hashtag horror um no, yeah

(53:44):
, oh yeah.

Jay (53:45):
Hashtag horror no.

Captain (53:47):
Yeah, shame, hashtag horror.
What a terrible film.

Jay (53:48):
Oh man.

Wilson (53:49):
That one that got a weirdly large amount of listens
on our.

Captain (53:54):
Oh yeah, I mean, it's bad, it's entertaining, but it's
not so bad, it's good though.
Yeah, it's just bad.
It's like slime below a rama.

Jay (54:03):
It's just bad.

Captain (54:04):
Before we go any further, though, do you want our
sponsor, jay, brought us?

Wilson (54:08):
a sponsor.

Jay (54:10):
Every time we have Jay on the podcast he's like I'm going
to bring you my sponsor.
I've not personally used thisservice and I've not heard back
from anyone that has, but itsounds good.

Captain (54:22):
Okay, so here's a quick word from our sponsor.

Refreshed.

Captain (55:30):
Okay, so there is some numbs and some goose.
I don't know if you what.

Jay (55:38):
Nothing.
There's just so much slang.
Eventually it's just going tobe all jibbity jab Jibbity gab.

Captain (55:44):
I mean, I do like the numbs and goose.

Wilson (55:46):
Numbs and goose Numbs, goose jab, I mean I do like the
num-nums and hot goose Num-numsand hot goose we have a mug.
Yeah, I got myself one of thosemugs too.

Captain (55:53):
I kind of like it, I love it.
So yeah, Wilson, what do we got?
What do we got?
Num-nums Rotten Tomatoes 73critics 64 audience, which is
pretty good.
That's pretty good.
That's kind of what I saw.

Wilson (56:07):
Yeah, it's pretty good, um, uh what.

Captain (56:11):
I don't think we have like box office, because it's
like streaming no, I, I mean Ijust yeah, I all I really got
was people talking about howit's they consider it refreshing
.
Take on a well-traveled conceptis what they said okay, yeah,
so.

Wilson (56:25):
So what would you give it?

Captain (56:26):
While we're talking about ratings I gave it a 4 out
of 5.
On Letterboxd, did you do thesame?

Wilson (56:34):
I think I did.
Yeah, it was like a 75%.

Captain (56:36):
Wait, you gave it a 75?
.
Yeah, I think I'm going to givethis an 80.
A solid 80.

Wilson (56:43):
Jay, how about you?

Captain (56:44):
Jay Day.
Are you Loud Snack initiating?

Wilson (56:49):
over there, it's the Loud Snack Initiative, qsi.

Captain (56:53):
That's a LSI QSI.
Are you giving me Uncle Impyagain.

Jay (57:02):
Well, I'd say this is about a real Vietnam.
I would say 70s and 80s isright.
Where you want it to be dependson what your bell curve is what
is your rating?
This genre of movie simple, funhorror, I would say like 80
this hits the spot.
This does what it sets out todo and does it well and with a

(57:28):
budget that's probably likecrazy small, like yeah, like I,
I like that's better than likesome big budget horror movies
that have come out recently.

Wilson (57:35):
Yeah because it was like basically one set yes, like a
small yeah for the most partyeah, um, the this movie's 2019
right.

Captain (57:45):
And then, yeah, drew is the most famous person and he
didn't.

Wilson (57:48):
I don't really mostly know him from smile, which was
after this, so like yeah, thecast didn't cost a lot of money
yeah, which is nice for them, but oh yeah, I mean.
So I think all the budgetprobably went into, like the
special effects oh, definitely, but still yes yeah, yes, um, all
right, well, so hot, hot goss.
Oh yeah, throw some stuff inhere.

Captain (58:08):
Yeah, I just looked up Amen because that's who they
thought it was Like.
There's a lot of Like.
Basically throughout the moviethere's hints about who this
demon is and about how like youknow, I can't remember all the
things she says Something abouthow she knows, you know, about
like the bible, and she was likeI was there when it was written

(58:29):
the ancient laws, yeah, oh yeah, and there was something.
There was like two or threeother things they said about how
, like that they used for amen.
But anyway, I just looked uplike amen or amman, I don't know
it sounds like it says both.
it says also known as but indemonology, which is hysterical,
he's a grand marquise of hellwho governs 40 infernal legions

(58:53):
and the seventh spirit ofGautier.

Jay (58:57):
That's a good resume, so he's kind of a big deal.
He's like a regional man youwould hire him.

Captain (59:02):
Not everybody's a grand marquise.
You would hire him.

Wilson (59:05):
I mean, I don't know what I'd hire him for.
He's the king of Karens.

Captain (59:09):
It says he's the demon of life and reproduction is what
it says.

Wilson (59:14):
We didn't actually meet him.
He'd be fucking.

Captain (59:17):
We don't meet him, but they talk about him a lot, the
incantation that we hear how areyou a?

Jay (59:22):
demon of life.

Captain (59:24):
And reproduction.
What does?

Jay (59:26):
that even mean Babies.
Is he a gynecologist?
I don't understand.

Wilson (59:30):
Maybe he's the one that terrorizes humans most often he
just deals with the life stuff.
He's like a stork from hell.
Yeah, there we go, okay.

Captain (59:43):
And then, yeah, I cut in some questions here.
So somebody that really likesthis movie got this damon.
What's his name?
levec I think damian damianlevec on an interview and he
just put some stuff in.
I just put some stuff in herethat I thought was interesting
about like, um, you know, likeis he critical of staged

(01:00:05):
paranormal shows and and youknow, is there anything you want
to say about those?
And he was like I've actuallyworked on unscripted TV, like
reality TV, even working onopportunities of paranormal
shows, and he's like I've neverscripted them, but he knows a
lot of them do Like they edit, they script it.
You know it's a bunch ofpoppycock.

(01:00:25):
It's not real.
And like he said you know I'mnot saying haunted houses aren't
a real thing, he said, in fact,I believe that they are, but we
just live in an entertainmentdriven culture and the power of
editing is just very, you know,it's just very powerful, um
let's do a sequel where they doa haunted house show you know
it's funny.
He talks about a sequel, or nota sequel, but a movie he wanted

(01:00:47):
to work on after this.
I think it's kind of like thatI would watch that um, and then
he talks about some influences.
Like you know, obviously theevil dead and exorcism, he said,
were big ones.
Um, he said it's kind of acop-out but the exorcist is his
favorite exorcism film.
He said the tropes reallywouldn't be what they are today

(01:01:09):
without that movie.
So he was trying to dosomething different and I think
he executes that.
It's unique.

Wilson (01:01:17):
Oh yeah, oh yeah definitely.

Captain (01:01:19):
But that really was his favorite thing.
And then, yes, he said he'sreally proud of the practical
effects.
He said we wanted to use morepractical effects in the movie
but you know they had a budgetbut a lot of people who were
mistaken that the creature atthe end was all CGI.
It's not.
He said 98% of it is practical.
The only thing we couldn't dois like they went in and
enhanced the glowing eyes andthe mouth at the end.

Wilson (01:01:42):
That is actually really cool.

Captain (01:01:43):
That's like so cool.

Wilson (01:01:45):
I want to see like behind the scenes for that.

Captain (01:01:47):
Oh yeah, true.
And then they asked him youknow, what did you decide to
keep?
What did you change from theoriginal 2016 short that this is
based on?
And he said overall, the plotis the same, the ending's the
same, but he's expanding an18-minute short movie into a
90-minute feature film.
So he's like I had a lot moretime to expand the characters,

(01:02:13):
their relationships.
We could just bring focus todifferent people at different
parts of the movie.
But the biggest thing is thatthe girl in the chair in the
short movie is not like in arelationship with the other
characters, so like picking laneas being like you know a fiance
to drew.
He said that's how they couldreally expand.
Why people would care so muchabout this.

Wilson (01:02:36):
It changed the stakes are higher, basically Sure oh
yeah, yeah.

Captain (01:02:42):
But yeah, he said I think that's the most thing that
they changed.
And then, yeah, he could justexpand a lot so he could really
work on how he wanted thefeature to look and feel
compared to just a 15-minuteshort.

Wilson (01:02:55):
Right, I just looked up the director's Instagram and I
feel like there's probably somegood stuff to see on there,
because almost all of his postshave to do with the cleansing
hour, so I'll have to digthrough that later.

Captain (01:03:08):
Damien Levesque.
What a great name.

Jay (01:03:11):
I know he sounds like a vampire.

Captain (01:03:14):
He does sound.
Yeah, irma Beth is what I'mgetting, yeah.

Wilson (01:03:18):
I really wanted to go in here to see if he had behind
the scenes for the Lucifercharacter.

Captain (01:03:22):
Wait is his thing, damien Levesque, because why is
it not showing up?

Wilson (01:03:25):
Yeah, did you spell it right.

Captain (01:03:27):
Yeah, no, I probably didn't.

Wilson (01:03:31):
I can send you his profile.
Thanks, alright, I probablydidn't.
I can send you his profile.
Thanks, all right.
And then was that it for HotGoose.

Captain (01:03:40):
Yeah, that's what I found, Did you?

Wilson (01:03:43):
I mean I don't have anything else, I didn't.
You did all the research, so Ialways do all the research.

Jay (01:03:48):
You already said he did.
He directed a movie.
A creature was starring.

Captain (01:03:51):
Yes, that was in 2023.

Wilson (01:03:57):
What's your razor glass for this one?

Captain (01:03:59):
Wait, I'm clicking on this link that you sent me first
.

Wilson (01:04:02):
I mean, we don't have time to deep dive him right now.

Captain (01:04:04):
I know, but I want to look.

Wilson (01:04:06):
Yeah, that's fair.
I want to follow, I want tolook too.

Captain (01:04:08):
Oh yeah, creature Starring is on here.
It's like what he's got Onthere.
Okay, what is my rag.
What is my rag?
I would like to raise my glass.

Wilson (01:04:21):
Um.

Captain (01:04:26):
I feel like this is such a cop out.
But I mean, the devil showinghimself morphing from a dead
fire body to full lucifer waspretty, was pretty cool.
Oh well, I can say that one,but if that one is like stupid,
if that was somebody else's, Ican have something else so

(01:04:48):
you're gonna say something elsethat could be somebody else's
okay, well, you go.
What's yours?

Wilson (01:04:52):
raise your glass clink, clink um I mean it's along the
same lines like I, I expectedthere to be some hitch, like the
exorcism's not going to go asplanned or like something's
going to happen.
I didn't expect that and also Ididn't expect like the mass,
like possessions, at the end oh,I saw a couple of the reviews
were like they love the twist ofthis movie yeah, so that was

(01:05:14):
fresh.

Captain (01:05:15):
I like that yeah, what about your razor glass?
Are you loud stacks?

Wilson (01:05:20):
no, everyone go back to their seats um, what's my razor
glass?

Jay (01:05:26):
so there's a lot of moments I liked in this movie.
It's hard to pick just any one,um.

Captain (01:05:33):
You said you, oh no, that was the other movie.

Jay (01:05:34):
No, that was the slime polarama, that one.
There's so few that.

Wilson (01:05:38):
The highlights are shining, yeah, the highlights
are very apparent.

Jay (01:05:43):
Yeah, I mean there's.
I mean this isn't like a hugemoment, but very early in the
movie it's pretty creepy wherethe Shayla Vancock Scarlett.
Vancockcock, scarlett vancockvancock.
She's going showing up to thislike I don't know where they're
filming, but it's like a crazyabandoned warehouse super
sketchy alley.
She's in the alley, are they'rein the alley?

(01:06:04):
they're walking towards, I guess, where the filming is going on
and there's like a lost unhousedperson in the in a sleeping bag
onto the side and they're likehello, hello, have you seen?
This studio, okay, walks, alittle bit more super shady.
They're like man, fuck this.
And they turn around and theunhoused person is gone.
They're like start walking alot faster.

Captain (01:06:25):
They're like you get a crispy rice krispies treat
person and the creepy crawlycrawling around crunchy crispy.

Wilson (01:06:33):
I like how she sees it the first time.
She's like absolutely notperson.
The creepy crawly crunchycrispy.
I like how she sees it thefirst time.
She's like absolutely not.
She's like it's wrong.

Captain (01:06:40):
We do get a crispy crunchy, creepy crawly person.
We get those a lot.
It's actually been a whilesince, I feel like we've seen
one.

Wilson (01:06:46):
Yeah, I haven't seen one in a while.

Captain (01:06:48):
The crispy crunchy crawly people are always creepy.
Actually, that was the otherone I was thinking about as well
.
So that was a good yeah, thatwas a good movie, a good moment,
um, um, but yeah, scott van coxlike reaction is pretty funny
oh yeah great.

Jay (01:07:08):
Huh, it's like that would have been great as a possessed
person.
Oh, scott van, oh my god uhwatching a drag queen do a
exercise.

Captain (01:07:12):
I don't know if I could take it possessed person.
It's like that would have beengreat as a possessed person.
Oh, Skylar Vink.
Oh my God, Watching a dragqueen do an exercise.

Wilson (01:07:16):
I don't know if I could take it seriously.

Captain (01:07:18):
No, oh no, it would be so entertaining oh yeah, it
would be so entertaining, Likeyou'd get the views you want.
The verification check it'scoming, you'd be like mother.
Yes, Like pop.
Yeah, exercise, she's motheringright now yeah, no, that's
definitely what it would give,so I mean you'd get it.

Wilson (01:07:39):
Max was on to something he was, he was serving possessed
what else we got before weclose out with the uh wait.

Captain (01:07:48):
Do you know what you're doing next week?
Uh, no, um, supposedly we'redoing something called the
commuter the commuter from 2018,next week.
No, supposedly we're doingsomething called the Commuter.

Wilson (01:07:54):
The Commuter.

Captain (01:07:56):
From 2018.

Wilson (01:07:57):
That sounds like a Jason Statham movie?
It definitely does.

Jay (01:08:00):
I think it's the Beekeeper.

Captain (01:08:02):
I think it.
Is it not the guy that does theNaked Gun?

Wilson (01:08:06):
Sounds like a sequel to Speed, liam Neeson.
We're watching a Liam Neesonmovie.
I think it's Liam Neeson.
That's a horror movie.
Yeah, it's like we're watchinga liam neeson.

Captain (01:08:14):
I think it's liam neeson that's a horror movie,
it's a thriller.

Wilson (01:08:16):
A thriller, oh, I mean, we can fuck it off if you want
me to, but, uh, maybe I'll watcha trailer like if it's, if it's
like just a thriller skills Imean that cast is good though,
vera and patrick wilson, exactly, I mean it's a good, sam
neill's in there.

Jay (01:08:31):
Okay, I'll watch the trailer I'm gonna talk about
this earlier.

Wilson (01:08:34):
But also I know we're excited for like weapons, but
like the final conjuring iscoming out, I believe this year
oh yes, I hope that's betterthan the devil made me do it,
but we'll see what's that calledlast rights?

Captain (01:08:45):
I think, wow, I really pulled that out of my ass.
That sounds right wow this castis like fantastic it's fire
right, so like I mean we do.

Jay (01:09:03):
Yes, really, it's liam I guess they use all the money.
I mean, this is a stacked castokay, so we could do it.

Wilson (01:09:12):
Did it not do well?

Captain (01:09:14):
What?
No, I think it's our good movie.
Oh wait, is it?
That's a 55%, oh no no, this isnot our good movie.
No, no, this is bad.

Wilson (01:09:24):
I mean it could be worse .
That's sad, given how manypeople are in here.

Captain (01:09:28):
It's not good, jesus.
Okay, so that's what we'redoing next time.
Advice wise Is that me, that isyou.

Wilson (01:09:40):
But you can ask for.
I can phone a friend.

Captain (01:09:45):
Yeah, do you want to phone a friend?
We?

Wilson (01:09:46):
can phone a friend.

Captain (01:09:47):
What do we got over there, jay?

Wilson (01:09:49):
Um.

Captain (01:09:55):
Well.

Jay (01:09:55):
Based on this movie.
Yeah, and the advice I need togather from these people based
on a different movie, based onany movie you give a fuck about
no I would say if you happen tobe filming a possession and it
turns to a real possession andthe demon's like if anyone
leaves, we're gonna kill them, don't just immediately sprint
towards the door, don't playaround because immediately she
was just like all right, I'mgonna instigate this person the

(01:10:18):
statue mary statue impaled inthe head.

Wilson (01:10:20):
She probably had the most pleasant death out of.
Yeah, it was quick.

Captain (01:10:23):
Yeah, she probably didn't realize it unfortunately
oh my god we didn't even talkabout chris and the demon dogs
that attacked him and he's boxcutting his own nut, his own
jugular open yeah, talk aboutbrutal death.
That and the guy that's lit onfire.

Wilson (01:10:39):
Um, oh, my gosh sucks bruh, dude, I can't even do
anything.

Captain (01:10:43):
Dude, that scene dude, we totally forgot about that
scene.
Like, okay, a poor one out thatthe box cutter to the neck.
Yeah, I hate it.
It was all him I hate it, yeah, and he's, yeah, he and he's,
yeah, he's thinking that he's,he's cutting the dogs that are
attacking him.
He's like demon dogs, but he'sjust cutting himself and it's.
You know, what's interesting islike he's like screaming
because the demon dogs are likebiting him in his head or like

(01:11:04):
scratching him, but it's justhim cutting himself with a box
cutter, like really cool, likelike I've never seen it, like I
don't know.

Wilson (01:11:15):
The movie really did do new stuff.
It did that I haven't seenbefore everyone should watch it.

Captain (01:11:17):
Sorry, yes, highly recommend is where I want to end
that, but um so your advice?

Jay (01:11:21):
we already gave it yeah um, don't run don't run from an
evil possessed woman who tellsyou nothing, yeah yeah, it's
like in a demon voice, Likedon't run or I'll kill you.
It's like it's dead.
I'm like, what did you just say?

Captain (01:11:42):
Oh yeah, listen to the demon.
Yeah, okay.
