Kind of a weird show considering the timeline for me,
I have an hour of the normal show, and there's
gonna be a lot of mixing in with some of
those personalities that have been a part of the fan
golf outing today and presented by Franciscan Health. It has
been awesome, and I've told you this before. It being
(01:23):
what eighty seven degrees with high humidity and sunny out,
this is like where I did my wheelhouse. I love this,
absolutely love it. It has been a great day I have
And really I will say this because I know Michelle
Andrey are right across from me right now. This has
been the greatest golf outing I've ever been a part of.
(01:44):
And here here's the big reat because I got to,
for the better part of seven hours hang around and
shoot basketball at this golf outing. It was in tense,
insane and awesome all at the same time. Now, and
it's all for a great cause. So many of our
partners have been out here with us, many at our
(02:08):
multi station facility have been here working so hard, much
harder than me. Over the course of the afternoon, They're
going to be a lot of people to think. But
I mentioned the whole dynamic of this show. I go
an hour and then I will host the Colts pregame
huddle as we get started with preseason game number one
(02:31):
with the Colts and the Ravens in Baltimore coming up
a little bit later on tonight, Hey, Ted, come over here,
Ted for a minute. I know that we're waiting on
a couple of friends of the show. What money get
Ted Bishop on here really quick? If he has a
minute because we have played here at the Legends Golf
Club down in Franklin. Hey, Ted, I want you to
say a couple of things there really quick. I wanted
(02:51):

Speaker 3 (03:09):
It's going good. Should be close to wrapping up.
Speaker 5 (03:11):
No, man's got great food.
Speaker 6 (03:13):
The legendary tenderloins is what we're talking about today too.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
That's correct.
Speaker 6 (03:18):
Yeah, well man, Well tell everybody about the play so
we can get them here at some point sometime.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Well, twenty seven championship holes designed by Jim Fazio. We're
in our wow thirty fifth year of being open.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Man.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
So's still a lot of great weather coming up this fall.
Hopefully we're going to get a break from this next
heat wave. But fall golf Johns the best best time
to play, there is no doubt. See I just mentioned
this a moment ago. I love this weather out here
right now. Now it's not for everybody.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
Now, it's easier for me because I'm here and a
tank top and basketball shorts, right but I love this weather.
It has been a great day today. Thanks for allowing
me with the guys to bring the basketball goal too.
I shot that literally at probably a seventy seven percent
clip out there to day. I felt really good, felt
really good out there.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
That's good.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Well, there wasn't much wind. That makes it.
Speaker 6 (04:07):
He wasn't much wind, and I got used to the terrain.
I mean know, sometimes you're outside and everything's naughty. Even
I kind of felt like Jimmy chip Wood behind Hickory
when he was shooting sometimes.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
But you get used to.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
It, you know. I guess you playing off of a
grass basketball court would be similar to the Wimbledon experience.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
Exactly like Wimbledon or kind of how I grew up
in eastern Green County right there.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yeah, but the ground was a lot flatter here that.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
Hey, remind people your number how they can get a
hold of you and get.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
A tea time ted sure three one seven seven three
six eight one eight six, or you can always book

Speaker 6 (04:46):
This is the legendary Ted Bishop at the Legends Golf
Club here in Franklin. That thank you, Ted for having us.
Darren Andrews. If we grow here ady dot com, you
better are set up. You're on deck in your neck
right here, You're next, man, is how they work in
New Zealand.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
You just.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Look at them. Oh my god, when was that taken?
Right there? That looks like the kid from teen Wolf?
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Right here?
Speaker 5 (05:11):
Am I going to eat a butterfinger? Or I'm playing
on the floor?
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Right?
Speaker 5 (05:14):
Is that really me?
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Right there?
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Look at that transformation?
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Lord have mercy? Twenty seventeen?
Speaker 5 (05:19):
Was that twenty seventeen? I just think it was Holy crap?
Speaker 1 (05:23):
You have them in now.
Speaker 6 (05:24):
Man, feel much better because I'm recognizing you and I
have always talked about this and this is Deren Andrews.
I mentioned this if you want the option of your
real and I mean truly real growing hair. Uh, Deren
Andrews is who you need to talk to. UH five
two twenty nine ninety five Area code three point seven
or we grow hairindi dot com today and I wanted
(05:44):
people to talk with you about that today thanks for
being a part of the golf outing. Thank you for
being a part of our station. Whether it's me or Kevin,
you have been a significant part of my life for
the past nine years and I can't thank you enough.
Speaker 5 (05:56):
Well, thank you appreciate the support.
Speaker 7 (05:57):
It's uh Philly's mutual wonderful Juny and obviously helping you
with a multi unit haircrafting procedure we did, and we've
talked about how technology has changed over the years, and
it's of course the technologies around preventative hair loss as well.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
An early stage hair loss.
Speaker 7 (06:12):
So over the twenty years we've been in business, I
think one of the significant changes we've seen is we're
seeing a younger person coming to the clinic and that's
because we can now get the hair loss earlier. So
you and I have both had hair transplants. Yes both
had multituded aircrafting procedures, but not everyone needs to hear
transplant right, so that global approach is really important. Even
after you've had a transplant, which we've talked you about.
Speaker 6 (06:33):
And if you catch it in the early stages, and
believe me, most every dude out there is going to
go through this at some point unless you're incredibly fortunate
it's going to happen to you. And if you can
really catch this thing early, you can get a hold
of it. You know, you're already kind of battling from ahead,
so to speak. We are, and you guys give them
that great opportunity obviously to have that option of your
(06:54):
real growing here again we.
Speaker 7 (06:55):
Do, and that's you know, when you need to hear transplant,
the follicle has physically gone on it, yes, and so
when it's gone, you got to replace it with a
hair transplant. Ye days gone by, that was kind of
the only option nowadays if you can get to the
follicle soon enough. And keep in mind, you lose fifty
percent of the hair in an area before you notice it.
So think about that that first moment when you see
(07:15):
I know, for me, I was actually in a shoe
store getting a pair of shoes. I looked up at
a mirror and I could see thinning and I thought,
who's that guy? Yeah, and it was me in my
early twenties here. Well, back then, there weren't options to
control the heir us like there are today. So growth
factor treatment low level laser light therapy I FDA approved
approach part of the package that we're you know, we're
(07:35):
giving out today with our sponsorship here, so lots of
different things.
Speaker 6 (07:39):
And explain that really quick too, because I want people
that are listening right now.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
I want people that are part of the.
Speaker 6 (07:44):
Goal farting that are coming in here right now to
know a little bit more about what you guys are
offering up today.
Speaker 7 (07:48):
Yeah, so we're offering a complementary free level laser light
therapy package. Laser therapy is actually i FDA approved now again,
it's one of those things that is designed to work
with exis sing here follicles. So you and I did
laser therapy after a here transplant is pot of that
healing or recovery approach. But you can use it aside
(08:09):
from the transplant as a preventative. It's a thirty minute
treatment once two times a week. You can do it
at home with an at home device. Ideally it's done
with a medical grade device in clinic.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
Yeah, no downtime, you sit out of there.
Speaker 7 (08:22):
You can as you know, you can sit on the laptop,
you can wake away while you get a treatment.
Speaker 5 (08:25):
So it's very popular.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
I did want to ask you this and we won't
go into full detail because there may not be enough
time here. But you know, I started on a weight
loss journey as well. I'd mentioned this to you at
You were the first person I got with nine years ago,
and I said, by the time I'm sixty, I want
to have all new parts. And I'm well, my way
of having all new I'm looking for eyeballs and ears,
but I'm going to be like the six million dollar
(08:46):
man Steveston or that old sixty nine Camaro that farmer
finds in the barn and they just kind of redo everything.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
That's kind of how I want to be.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
So there is a dynamic that is interesting that you
have to be aware of when you start a weight
loss ay and your ars are doing this as well.
Speaker 7 (09:01):
Yeah, so the hair filicle and the blood supplying general
is a dumping ground for the body here, right, So
when you stress the body and you throw a lot
of toxins into the system, which when you go through
a weight last journey, that's what you're doing, You're getting
rid a lot of that. It can impact hair loss,
it can alter DHT production. So there's a lot of
things that I think come into play. So if there's
something you think about thinking about and you're dealing with
(09:23):
hair loss, take a global approach, So come and talk
to us about about putting a plan in place so
that you're doing everything and you're not being counterproductive to
one thing or the other.
Speaker 6 (09:33):
Thank you very much for coming, am, And you and
I have been talking about that here recently.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
So it is hey, give out your number, give out
the deal, give out how people getting into hold of
you right now, because I know I have people.
Speaker 5 (09:42):
Listening and also want to be upon the pine number
we do. You're impressed with about you.
Speaker 7 (09:46):
Know, I mean every time you've got it down so
in person or virtual evaluations. We're at the perimid Builder's
right a four sixty five Michigan Road. Then of course
we grow here at your dot com. Tons of videos,
exact pulls, different processes. Just give us a call, find
out if it's right for you and if it is great,
if it's not, it's not. But most people we can help.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Man.
Speaker 6 (10:07):
I'm riding home last night from ruoff after Toto and
men at work and Christopher Cross, and I saw some billboards.
Speaker 5 (10:15):
I gotta get back. I gotta climb back on a billboard.
Speaker 6 (10:17):
Now, I know, especially not with the fat meetings got
over there too.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
Well, I'm up there.
Speaker 7 (10:23):
My wife's there tonight for Cindy fair World to it,
so she's this.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
I'll give that one I missed.
Speaker 6 (10:30):
But buddy, thank you for appreciate what you've done our
relationship on you said ship. Thanks so much, nine years
and here's too many more counting.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Appreciate you. Thank you. Darren Andrews. We grow hairandy dot com.
That deal and if you want to start out.
Speaker 6 (10:44):
On your needing more hair option journey right now, you
can do that. You're real growing hair three one, seven, five, two, two,
twenty nine, ninety five. We grow hairandy dot com, Darren Andrews,
and we grow hairandy dot com apart of our fan
and golf outing today meantime the Andy Moore Automotive Group hotline.
Right now, let's go from CBS four and Fox fifty
(11:07):
nine as we get set for preseason game number one
later on tonight in Baltimore with the Colts of the Ravens.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
Mike Chapel joins us.
Speaker 6 (11:14):
Good afternoon, Mike, How are you incredible? I got to
go to a golf outing where all I did was
shoot basketball all day? How about that? That's a golf
outing in Indiana for you.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
That's like feel a dreams for you.
Speaker 6 (11:28):
Oh my goodness. I loved it. I could do this
every day, you know. I somebody had asked me. The
Butler guys Mike Freeman and the Gang and Nick Gardner
came by and I asked them to make a video
for Thad Mada. I said, I still have some eligibility
left bad you know, look at this, and we're kind
of joking around about that. And they said, well, did
(11:49):
you play in high school? And I tried to express
this all the time. I was the biggest wooss in
high school of all time. I wouldn't listen to anybody.
I was justified. And man, I am like the constant.
I didn't recognize it until it became really too late
to recognize, if you know what I mean. There's so
(12:11):
much more that I learned after high school that was
so important and going into it. So I have so
much admiration for a lot of guys.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Mike that wecover.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yeah, it's amazing how much you know, if you knew
then what you know now. And yes, looking back, how
either stupid, stubborn or naives we were when we were young.
Probably all of it, probably all of it. And sometimes
I look back and think, how and nehal did I
survive and come out the other end? So but you know,
(12:42):
you live and learn, and that's why with kids and
grandkids you try to tell them, and they've they've got
to they've got to be stupid on their own and
learn from their own mistakes. But I'm sure I made
more than my share of mind and love to go
back and do things different, but that's not the way
it works.
Speaker 6 (13:02):
It is not. As my chapel of CBS far and
Fox fifty nine, I'm sure there are a lot of
things that they have expressed they would like to do
differently with Anthony Richardson, So how about this year's path?
You know, this year where it matters ultimately the absolute most.
He like the path that they're taking. And what's your
expectation from what you see from Richardson in preseason game
one tonight as the starter?
Speaker 2 (13:23):
I want him to look like a competent quarterback. You know,
I'll be honest right now, in my bar is low
because I've only got two years of evidence to rely on,
and that's not very encouraging. He's he has played well
in camp, he has if Sunday is a season opener,
(13:46):
he's my starter, but he just he's going to go
out there, probably with most of it. I would guess
his offensive line starters. I wouldn't play Jonathan Taylor. I
wouldn't play Michael Pittman. I wouldn't play many of my
skill guys. Maybe Ady Mitchell a little bit, but they're
gonna go against most of Baltimore's backups number two defense.
(14:10):
But so what didn't go out then there shouldn't be
an excuse for not playing well. Complete third and seven,
you know, take some deep shots, but just act like
that that this is just a normal step for you.
I do. I disagree with Shansdyke and where he says
that everything's equal and you take everything into account for
(14:32):
the decision. I think games matter more. It does. I
just think it does. So how he plays this week,
and then how Daniel Jones plays against the Packers, it's
got to mean more. Yes, practice matters, and yes, you
know meetings matter and all that, but I just want
him to go out there and play well, get some
first downs, score sure, sure, but you know a quarter
(14:54):
and a half, that's what it is. That's probably I
don't know twenty plays, maybe a little more than that,
depending on how efficient you are. So just act like
you've been there before, which he really hasn't been there
a lot before, so he needs all this, all the
reps he can get.
Speaker 6 (15:11):
Mike Chapel of CBS four in Fox fifty nine, he's
on the Andy More Automotive groupile line and again Colt
Spree game huddle to start the season, me Casey Valier,
Bill Brooks and Rick Venturi comes up here at the
top of the hour here on ninety three to five
and one oh.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
Seven five the fan.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
I guess people have asked me this, and I just
don't think that there is a path to it.
Speaker 5 (15:34):
But people have asked, all right, so what would have
to happen?
Speaker 6 (15:37):
And I obviously mentioned injury, but it would have to
be just a catastrophic performance, would it not for him
not to end up being the starter in a week
number one?
Speaker 5 (15:49):
In your opinion? Is that accurate because that's how explited
to him.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Yeah, I sort of, because again, I just think in
the last time that crisp Out asked my advice has
been like never uh. I just think that this is
Richardson's job to lose and he's not done that, but
I just think that he needs to he needs to
not suck, to use your terminology and be better than
(16:16):
that thought. To be honest, he can't just go out
there and you know, as what was it, bulderm lolligag, Yeah,
You've got to go out there and play the position,
be efficient and and then sit down and then next
week you play a little less than that. So uh again,
I my bar is low, but the bar still is
(16:40):
played the position efficiently. And I don't think they're going
to do a lot of the run pass options and
get him out on the edge and run a lot.
I don't think, uh the boy in the passing game
be effective in complete more than forty seven point seven percent.
Speaker 6 (16:58):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
So again, I think it's there for him. He's looked
like that since since the pads have come on in camp.
He has played well. He had one bad day I
think it was a Saturday, but he's played well, and
Daniel Jones has played well. It's just that we've still
seen the ceiling that Anthony Richardson brings, and it's a
(17:21):
high ceiling, but he needs it's It's it's probably not
fair to him now because to not have a bad game,
a bad quarter and a half, but that's where they
are now. They put themselves in his place. He can't
have those bad moments. Uh. And this will be a
great test and that again against Baltimore's most of Baltimore's
(17:43):
number two is Mike.
Speaker 5 (17:45):
What we've seen in an Adie Mitchell.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Is this a transformation or is this kind of what
we saw in his rookie season where he looked glowingly
in spots and then dreadful in others.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Yeah, oh, I I need to see it. Uh tonight
whatever he plays, and then when the season starts. He
had a great preseason last year, he and Alec Pearis
has had a great you know battle for that spot.
Uh And after a slow first week, he's he's been
the best player in camp. He had a lot to
have been the best players in camp. Uh. So, you know,
(18:22):
do it, keep doing it. That's what Reggie Wayne always
preaches his consistency time after time. Uh So he Yeah,
he needs to he needs to show that he's put
last year behind him. I don't know what the problem
was last year, whether it was a maturity, which I
think was a lot of it. I don't know that
the game was too big for him, but maybe he
(18:43):
didn't comprehend what it was going to be like because
he just wasn't a second round draft pick that you anticipated.
There there were just too many issues. But boy, the
last couple of weeks he's just been gangbusters, which is great.
But then but then do it again. That's what the
NFL well is this not the moments. It's go and
(19:03):
look at Reggie Wayne's career. It was game after game,
year after year of consistency, some really great moments and
a lot of really good moments. And we've just seen
the beginning of Mitchell. He is their most gifted receiver.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
He just is.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
And what he could do for this offense is kind
of what Tyler Warren can do for the offense, although
I think Tyler Warren is going to be given more
of a chance reps in games than Mitchell will. We've
seen the best of Mitchell so far, but he needs
to keep doing.
Speaker 6 (19:38):
It's Mike Chapel of CBS four and Fox fifty nine,
and again we got the Colts Ravens pre game right here.
We're still with the coverage with the pregame huddle coming
up at the top of the hour. You mentioned a
lot too and his camp so far that is something
simply put consistently we have not seen since Robert mathis Uh,
(20:00):
do you make a correlation to where it's a possibility
for him to have that type of defensive edge rushing
effect consistently or is this you know some things we
have seen before that maybe not translate into the reg
of the season.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
We've not seen a lot of edge rushers in camp
just dominate. I don't think you know post matthis and Freey.
So this is encouraging. And then too, you know when
we talk a lot too as well, you know there
were a lot of near missus last year. Wards are
half a step slow. Maybe that comes as being a
rookie and you're thinking you're not reacting and now you're
(20:34):
just playing. You know what you're doing, you trust what
you're doing, and if that gives you that half a step,
then maybe he's poised for a big season. They need,
they need to have a guy. I think they've got
a lot of good players, you know, with Quitty pay
and the second round pick to Amla. While I always
(20:57):
mess up his name, Ebu kom Taekwon Lewis boy, you
just need you need that guy that's going to get
you ten, eleven, twelve, thirteenth tacks and they've got divorced
Buckter is gonna get you eight. But to have that guy,
and I think a lot two can be that guy.
And again he's been dominated at camp. He has, and
(21:20):
you just want to see it carry over to the season.
Speaker 6 (21:24):
It's Mike Chapel of CBS four or Fox fifty nine.
Speaker 5 (21:27):
Final thing.
Speaker 6 (21:28):
I mentioned this to Jake and the crossover conversation, how
do you think we're going to be viewing I'm going
to give it a little bit more time other than September.
We'll be viewing the place kicking situation differently than we
do right now.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Come October, well you hope to come October. You're not wishing, boy,
I wish they hadn't gotten rid of Matt Gig. I
wasn't I understood why they did it, because they simply
could not trust him on fifty yarders. They couldn't because
he was forty you know later after the big Baltimore game.
(22:05):
But Spencer Schrader, he's again he's got like eleven kicks
in when it matters, five few goals like spats and
that's just a small sample size when when you're in
so many one score games, Schrader's getting some groove in him.
During training camps, he had one so so Dannic Held
(22:27):
clanked to fifty yarder off the upright, which Matt Gay
was pretty good at that. But they better be right,
as I said, and I believe it is. I do
not want training camp competition and quarterback and field goal kicker.
I just don't. I want to know who my guy is.
I think they know who their guy is, and they
(22:48):
need to be right because again, miss a couple of
those when it matters, and you can go back to
Adavanitarian's you know, unfortunate last season in twenty nineteen. He
makes like three kicks in there in the playoffs. So
it's I hope it was a good decision. I'm I'm
sort of waiting to.
Speaker 6 (23:09):
See, hey, really quick Justin Wally Jalen Jones levels of
concern moving forward for.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Each uh sign Hi. I guess they described uh uh
Jalen Jones as more severe than juju brands. Normally a
coach doesn't use severe as a word. I'm concerned, and
I think they're concerned with Justin Wally uh, which would
(23:39):
be a monster loss, just a monster loss, because he
was If he wasn't starting, he was going to be
one of the first off the bench, and he was
going to push Jalen Jones. And until Jalen Jones is back,
Wally was going to be your starter. So maybe they'll
get some word tonight from Changetiking, But I think there's more.
(24:00):
I think there's more concerning with Justin Wally than there
is Jones, and there's concern with Jones.
Speaker 6 (24:06):
We'll catch up again soon next week. Mike, thank you
very much for the time. We appreciate it. Enjoy the

by the way, the posh effect. Hey, quick one, we'll

It is our golf outing with ninety three to five
and one oh seven five The Fan, and it's presented

Speaker 4 (25:09):
The Fan, The Ride with jmv Oh Boy BOYD ninety
three five and one oh seven five The Fan.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
Thomas Nicholas Band. He was one of the dudes in
American Pie.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
You know.
Speaker 5 (25:27):
He found the manual like the sex manual.
Speaker 6 (25:31):
And struggled with terror whatever reason, still struggled even with
the manual with Tara Reid.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
I don't know why he's.
Speaker 5 (25:37):
Got a band.
Speaker 6 (25:38):
He's at the Indiana State Fair on Saturday night, number
nine at two, three, nine ten seven. He can go
see the Thomas Nicholas Band coming up on Saturday night.
Our golf outing is ongoing right now at the Legends.
Speaker 5 (25:52):
We're in Franklin.
Speaker 6 (25:53):
Thank you all for joining us, Hey, all of our sponsors,
all of our partners, all of our friends. It has
been a great day with Franciscan Health today. I do
have a friendly wager for the Colts and Patriots better
record Chris Gaditis?
Speaker 5 (26:10):
Did I get that right?
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Man?
Speaker 6 (26:11):
I was going to butcher the hell out of that, Chris,
Chris Goaditas my favorite beverage? Or how much five hundred
dollars to a charity of our choice of what the
Franciscan Foundation is what we're doing better record Colts or Patriots?
Speaker 5 (26:29):
Is that what we're doing?
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Chris?
Speaker 6 (26:32):
You and I are going to do that, right, I'm
in I'm down right here.
Speaker 5 (26:37):
You got that? So huh, thank you very much?
Speaker 6 (26:42):
Wishing wishing him but five hundred dollars to the Franciscan Foundation. Awesome, dude, Ah,
I want to hear that.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
Hey, Brent, just really quick, can you passed up? Mike?
Speaker 6 (26:59):
I want to get this story really quick from Chris,
and then Chris, you could pass it right back. All right, Chris,
you're here with Franciscan Health and you have a story
to tell about what you've gone through.
Speaker 8 (27:10):
Yes, July twenty second of two thousand and twenty three,
I had chest pain and was not feeling well. And
called a friend of mine and they said called nine
one one. I was taken to a hospital. I'm not
(27:31):
gonna say which one, but second hospital. It was really
scary because as I was getting carted in, there were
seven people in the aisle, and the room that they
took me into there was five other people in there,
and they were all staring at me, and it was
like I didn't know what was going on. And I
(27:54):
decided like I got in there, I felt safe, and
then I was like, I want to take a nap.
The next thing I know, the nurse just kind of
slapping my face a little bit and going I'm like,
oh no, I just took a nap.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
We lost you. You were done.
Speaker 8 (28:11):
You were coded for two minutes, and I was rushed
up to the ICU, had a stent put in through
my arm all the way into my heart through a
cather five days in the ICU. Ever since then, I've
(28:33):
tried to maintain better stuff with my hearts and whatnot.
And it's scary because I'm a fit guy. I played hockey,
I played soccer. I was very athletic, and it just
hits and you never know. And the lucky thing for
me is I still have fifty five percent. As you
would know, I still have fifty five percent, which is
(28:54):
pretty good after a heart attack. They were kind of
impressed that I did not have more damage because I
had a major heart attack.
Speaker 6 (29:02):
Well, we're gonna do our little wager for five hundred
dollars to the Franciscan Foundation. Chris, thank you for being
a part of this golf outing and telling us and
sharing with us your story too.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Thank you, sir.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
I appreciate you. Guys do a great job.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
I love Thank you.
Speaker 6 (29:15):
Very much, Chris. Appreciate that. Chris gaddied us with his
story and a reason behind him being here today, which
is ultra special. And Brent Holverson joins us now from
heaven Hill Distillery. He's a part of this as well.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
That that hits home right there, that really does. I'm
happy he's here to tell us that story too. You know. Wow,
absolutely amazing. Well, I digress.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
We're great. Yeah, Chris is here.
Speaker 6 (29:43):
But to be here, you're playing golf on this particular afternoon,
you were out there with Noally and the gang. How'd
that go?
Speaker 2 (29:50):
The way?
Speaker 9 (29:50):
Now?
Speaker 5 (29:51):
Is looking good?
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Man?
Speaker 1 (29:52):
I tell you what, I had a great group guys today.
Nally Nick and then I mean all everybody, I mean,
Toddy was there. We you know, it was my first
time in three years, John playing golf. Isn't that crazy?
Speaker 5 (30:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Since anee surgery, I haven't haven't gotten out there. Played
the steer, got me out to top golf couple of
times and fell okay. And then they got back out
today and then struggled for a while and had a
couple of good shots. But it was good to be
back out there. Man, what a beautiful day there.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
I love this is my favorite weather.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
I know a lot of people disagree with me on this,
but I love it hot and humid.
Speaker 6 (30:22):
It was a little spicy. It was a little spicy.
I just for some reason, I just I kind of
dig the you know, the southern part. I just hot
and sweat. He speaks to the South with me, and
I dig that.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Well. You were over there, drained threes.
Speaker 6 (30:36):
Feeling so good. I was right out there to the sun.
I think I did get a little bit of sun today.
I've already had something, but I think I got even
more today too. Hey, did you see Harley d I
did see Harley Harley playboy shirt.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
That's awesome.
Speaker 5 (30:48):
I was trying to see which I pointed out.
Speaker 6 (30:50):
Let me point to you which one I probably rubbed
one out more to you right there, And there was probably.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
That one bo Derek. Oh yeah, I think.
Speaker 5 (30:57):
I some some self.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
Gratuitous love right there with that night. You know he
told me earlier he said he has shorts to match too,
he does. What need you see those next time?
Speaker 5 (31:10):
Did you send that video to Nicole and me?
Speaker 6 (31:12):
Oh and knock it down that thee Oh yeah, I
got dedicated it to Nicole and knocked it down too.
So we got some things coming up too, don't we, buddy,
We do?
Speaker 2 (31:20):
Hey.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Tavern Tour, which we went through a pretty good list.
We had a great list of people. Really appreciate everybody
sending out some accounts to look at. However, we decided,
due to the eightieth anniversary of them being open, which
is a tavern tour exactly what we're doing on taverntours,
we're gonna ended up at sids On all Yeah, where
at sids.
Speaker 6 (31:41):
Well, I'm gonna stop by there tomorrow night. Is there
eightieth Thanks Jason, good to see you, brother. I'll see
you this weekend. I'm gonna stop by there tomorrow night
on my way back because I'm up at Harris Hootia
Park and Anderson tomorrow. But on my way back, I'm
gonna stop at SIDS tomorrow night, and then I'm gonna
go back on Sunday from one until three and hang
out too.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
Man, eighty years the hell of it, right, that's pretty
special right there. And you know what's right after that? John,
I mean you know the week after that?
Speaker 5 (32:07):
I know what is that? The Labor Day weekend Bender?
Speaker 1 (32:11):
Well, that is right, if that were right.
Speaker 5 (32:15):
I was looking forward to the Labor Day weekend Bender too.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
We do have that. You're absolutely right. So the Labor
Day Weekend Bender, Mystic Waters Top Ground, We'll be there
and that that Friday, Saturday Sunday, So come on out
for that, and then we start our eighth season of
the Larceny Locks at Joe's Grill Castle Joe's Grill. Mister
Noally's gonna kick us off for us.
Speaker 6 (32:34):
So Aally was looking good. I saw Nally and Tommy
s last night at Toto. I heard, Yeah, how was that?
Speaker 5 (32:40):
It was good?
Speaker 6 (32:41):
I I am a big fan of when you have
multi acts and they all come out and do something
at the end, like earth Winded Fire in Chicago has
been noted for doing this in the past and it's
been great.
Speaker 5 (32:54):
So you had Commin Hay of min.
Speaker 6 (32:55):
At Work, and you had Christopher Cross come out with
Toto when Steve Lukather and do Africa at the end
for the finale, that was solid as a rocket. That's awesome.
And let me tell you this, Colin Hay. Colin Hay
still got his fastball he does. I mean, it sounded
like business as usual. The album nineteen eighty two, it
was an awesome sound. Whether you're talking about who can
(33:17):
it be now down under overkill it's a mistake. I
mean the catalog of men at work with Colin Hay,
he was.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
Accept for They Are They? That's absolutely were They.
Speaker 5 (33:28):
I mean just his voice is still as good as ever.
Speaker 6 (33:31):
Christopher Cross is one of the nicest human beings of
all time. And Toto still got it too. You know,
Joe Williams has been on the show before. He's the
lead singer, a long time lead singer. Now his father,
I believe his father was John Williams, who came up
with all the music for Jaws and Star Wars and stuff.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
So it it is pretty cool what they have with Toto,
a lot of guys, maybe not complete originals, but a
lot of guys have been with that band, and Steve
Lucather for a number of years was really looking forward
to it, but I was in San Francisco for the
Grateful Dead New Walks Teeth, and I got in late
Tuesday night, so Wednesday was more of a catchup day
for work and ketchup day for my personal well being.
(34:13):
So I was kind of bunned to miss that.
Speaker 6 (34:14):
But we should hear tell everybody too, because people have
asked the date the Larcenity Bourbon Locks and Luna's Want
the Kila Shots at the Upstairs in Bloomington is in September.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
It is in September. I want to say the eighteenth, Yeah,
so I will kind.
Speaker 6 (34:28):
Of verify so many people are excited about that. September
the eighteenth, for anybody that's asked, is going to be
our first time doing a live show at the Upstairs
Pub in Bloomington, which is legendary just like legends.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
Here, it really is, and it's the spot now too,
So you know what's cool we have We're doing a
big every Monday night at Upstairs Pub with Eric and
Mike the Boy's great, great guys there, and what they've
done is outstanding. But every Monday night we'll have a
little larceny lunazoul Monday night football thing going on too.
So we'll kick it off on the eighteenth there and
then we'll have we'll have some fun throughout. I'm just
(35:05):
excited to get back at it, man. I mean, we've
got a little studying to do. We got some football, right,
very con man. Now you're gonna go to j Laws
a little food bar alone. Yeah, I heard about that Sunday.
I'm gonna try to ste a little bit.
Speaker 6 (35:15):
I called it the Semen Pond and I forgot the
tea the other day and that it didn't sound like
a really good Yeah, I think I said Semen Pond
or something like that. Nobody really wants to go to that.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Didn't we do a show? We did a show. We
did a backyard barbecue there once. Yeah, that was great.
Speaker 6 (35:29):
Yeah, yeah, oh yeah, And it was like one hundred
and five degrees out.
Speaker 5 (35:32):
There that day. True story.
Speaker 6 (35:35):
Brent Oliverson of heaven Hill Distillery, We're not too far
away from you.
Speaker 5 (35:38):
Another year. What year is this of our large Stebourbon
locks shots?
Speaker 1 (35:42):
Eight? My friend year eight. Isn't that crazy? Closed my mind?
It really does. And they're you know, being able to
get out and enjoy it with the great accounts and
partners that we have that that bring us into their
homes on Thursdays, if you will. It's it's pretty special.
So looking forward to that. Man, really am brother. I
appreciate you, heyppreciate you.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
Brian Holverson heaven Hill Distillery, he is with us.
Speaker 6 (36:03):
We're at Legends right now, wrapping things up for the
golf outing presented by Franciscan health Man. So many good people,
so many great stories, and we rejoice together with a
day of golf and basketball, which is very hoosier esque
to say the least. All right, Colchs pre game huddle,
top of the hour. There's Martot to see him, my
(36:24):
brother from ld Smith Plumbing right there, quick break, we'll
come back.
Speaker 5 (36:27):
Don't go anywhere. Nainety three five, one oh seven five
the fan.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
The ride with JMV and.
Speaker 1 (36:36):
The beatleser here in the.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
Beatos ninety three five and one oh seven five the fan.
Speaker 6 (36:43):
All right, so we're back at Legends Golf Club in Franklin.
I got Colts pre game huddle top of the hour,
Brett Halverson rejoins, Hello, Brent, Hello John. Heaven Hill Distillery
is out here. I gotta think because I'm not distracted,
I may sound like it. I have been handed the
Green County phone book from nineteen ninety six nineteen ninety seven.
(37:07):
Evidently my mom had her number unlisted because her name's
Hell's her name in here?
Speaker 5 (37:13):
Did she ever number unlisted?
Speaker 6 (37:15):
I thought, as much as she wants to talk on
the phone, she would like have it in big like
number they call me right here. But I think her numbers.
What's the last time he had a phone book?
Speaker 1 (37:28):
It's been a few years.
Speaker 6 (37:29):
Yeah, probably there is she uh gladysh Glassford, Glasgow glass
Glass Cock Glaze, Glenn Brook and then it goes from
Global Motors to Gloria's Hair Service.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Somebody could have ripped the page out though Gloria's.
Speaker 5 (37:47):
Hair Gloria used to cut my hair.
Speaker 6 (37:49):
Actually I believe Gloria was Terry Pico's mom.
Speaker 5 (37:54):
And then Glorya used to cut my hair. That's where
I got back in the day.
Speaker 6 (37:57):
I got the party down the middle, feathered on the
side look because I was trying to look like Steve.
Speaker 5 (38:01):
Alford, like we all were back then it's bren Holferson
right there. Hey, Jeremy is here. Jeremy, did you bring
this too?
Speaker 1 (38:07):
Me?
Speaker 5 (38:07):
Did you guys bring this title? Not bring that to
you? You got the Indiana State ruler too?
Speaker 1 (38:11):
That is fantastic.
Speaker 6 (38:12):
I noticed the Indiana State Ruler only goes to a
foot here.
Speaker 1 (38:16):
Well, that's a good day.
Speaker 6 (38:17):
Oh, I was gonna say twelve inches. The Indiana State
Ruler only goes twelve inches.
Speaker 5 (38:22):
I'm a more.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
We go a little long.
Speaker 5 (38:25):
I'm next to Hi.
Speaker 6 (38:26):
I'm very apprehensive about saying things that aren't right because
Andrea is sitting right next to me right here, I go.
Speaker 5 (38:32):
Can I say twelve inches on the radio and make
it sound okay? Uh Ea?
Speaker 6 (38:36):
Carts correct? Jeremy, thank you for all your help today.
My brother tell us a little bit about it.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (38:42):
So hey, we've we started about a year and a
half ago. We're new to the golf cart company, but
we started with big in social media, so playing with Grant.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
Horbat live golf stuff like that. We just started out.
Speaker 9 (38:54):
We were in Carmel, Indiana, great place, but it's so
much fun. Like we're just building golf carts. We built
them back in our warehouse. Get him out to the people.
We got one out here today, the American flag. It
looks fantastic. I can get it.
Speaker 5 (39:06):
Actually it was a hole in one winner.
Speaker 9 (39:07):
Unfortunately, nobody here could manage to hit a hole in one.
Speaker 5 (39:10):
So nobody here could manage to beat me shooting. Yeah, so, hey,
we missed your basketball goal. I heard we were out there.
Speaker 6 (39:18):
Yeah, yeah, you should have came back because you could
also fall victim to the jumper.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
Two.
Speaker 5 (39:22):
I heard nobody gets to beat you, right, nobody's going
to beat me out there? Well, I mean, and part
of it is it's like playing golf.
Speaker 6 (39:29):
It's repetition. I sit at there all day and shoot right. So,
I mean it was standing at Hope. I wouldn't get
beat by somebody just like rolling in here half drunk
eating a tender loin.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
We haven't. We haven't drunk it all today.
Speaker 5 (39:39):
No, I can't imagine. I don't think anybody in this
bar has so far.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
I thought, now he was going to take it. He
hit a couple of big shots out there.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
You know what.
Speaker 6 (39:48):
Stroke I had no idea. Did he not go to
Perry Meridian? Now he went to Perry Meridian? I think,
didn't he nows So yeah, his stroke looked pretty good.
By the way, Niles is down like thirty peo. Right, Hey,
great dastic.
Speaker 5 (40:02):
Hey, how can people Jeremy get ahold of you? Hey?
Speaker 9 (40:04):
Check us out eacarts dot com. We're also at EA
carts and Instagram, so lots of fun stuff. We're in
Arizona right now with Sam's Club, so are you. Yeah,
have a great time out there and the.
Speaker 5 (40:13):
One you're a part of the live we have been
Jimmy Wilby.
Speaker 9 (40:16):
Will be out and live golf in Chicago as well
as live golf in Indy with the Rippers. Uh so
we're out there with Cam and giving out a golf
cart with them as well.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
That golf part was outstanding there. That was pretty smart.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
Right.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
Oh.
Speaker 9 (40:27):
So we did we do that Trump National in New
Jersey and we do that the fourth of.
Speaker 6 (40:32):
July out This Indiana State ruler that I have right
here has the presidents all the way up to roll away.
Speaker 5 (40:39):
Again on the back of it. I blank you non.
Speaker 6 (40:42):
We got to give a quiz to Jay Querry over
there about the presidents here.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
He knows he knows them all.
Speaker 6 (40:47):
Hey, Jeremy, many thanks for all your help. Brother, have
appreciate that. Come out again to and we'd love to
have you.
Speaker 1 (40:52):
That is Jeremy once again and the EA Courts that
he had brought here as well. Do you go by
badass golf carts too, because I'd ask golf carts man,
it's right there.
Speaker 5 (41:02):
Thank you Jeremy for that. Hey, who I won? Do
we know?
Speaker 1 (41:06):
Brent? Who don't know?
Speaker 7 (41:07):
No.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
I kind of rolled right in and I've not seen
the leaderboard. I think we finished at eleven. I know
that's probably not going to be in the sniff, but
I'd be anxious to see what it was.
Speaker 5 (41:16):
Yeah, so you right up to Ronald Reagan, who was c.
Speaker 6 (41:24):
Somebody asked Jay Querry who the fourteenth president of the
United States was?
Speaker 1 (41:28):
You think you would know? I'd be impressive if he
did so.
Speaker 6 (41:32):
Thirteenth president, fourteenth Franklin Pierce would never have guessed that,
and I would bet money you can't pull that out
Ky eighteen fifty nine, I believe to eighteen sixty two
was Franklin Pierce.
Speaker 5 (41:48):
Hey, listen, you're going to know this this.
Speaker 6 (41:50):
Again is why if you're thinking about going to college,
Indiana State's your place. This is what you represent knowledge
right here a rule. I mean, think about this as
a ruler. It goes back to Reagan, so sometime between
nineteen eighty and in nineteen eighty eight or so right here.
Speaker 1 (42:08):
That's impressive. Yeah, it is. Look at that. You got
a phone book, you got the India State Rule.
Speaker 5 (42:11):
I'm want to be.
Speaker 6 (42:12):
Stuck in this phone book all night. I'm going to
call my mom and go, why the hell's your name
not at here?
Speaker 5 (42:16):
Why you're going unlisted?
Speaker 6 (42:17):
You probably today she talks to so many people that
it would be in big block letters. Call me, this
is I'm g mama, this is where I live. Call
me today. So not doing that, that's pretty Thanks for everything, man, Hey,
thank you.
Speaker 5 (42:33):
And I know we're not.
Speaker 6 (42:34):
Too far away from really getting underway with stuff, and
I frankly cannot wait.
Speaker 5 (42:40):
But this has been absolutely outstanding by the way. I
shout out to.
Speaker 6 (42:43):
Ted Bishop of Legends, to all of our sponsors, whether
it's having Hill Distillery, and I know zinc I played
a significant role in this as well.
Speaker 1 (42:50):
