Speaker 1 (00:10):
And here we go here anything you have a chance
against us? Mister cowboy gay.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
What do you like us?
Speaker 3 (00:19):
School?
Speaker 4 (00:20):
Whener's play ship, they.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
Give off the Jonathan Taylor Chuck cunning gets way clock
to the goal line.
Speaker 5 (00:24):
He's in there, cut down and why Jonathan Taylor.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Were find.
Speaker 6 (00:34):
Here's Hanniker into the front court mishandled him against a shot.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
He hins it. John, I have never been bedroom to
be on the air with you here in Indianapolis, a
place where so many of my dreams have come true.
Speaker 7 (00:48):
With a ride with JMV on ninety three five and
one oh seven five.
Speaker 8 (00:53):
Fat good to see him back out there. We wanted
him to get all the team reps, so we're working
him back into.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
That good man.
Speaker 9 (00:58):
When they told me I can't throw for a few weeks,
definitely hit me hard.
Speaker 5 (01:02):
Just performing at a high level, my preparation, consistency on
the field, and my performance and it's a long process
and focusing on kind of what I'm doing day to
day I think is the best way to go about it.
Speaker 8 (01:11):
Met with him yesterday, sat down with them, just talked
about the consistency of the operation, just moving the football
up and down the field. Told those guys to no
timetable on this thing. Let those guys compete, let the
process play out.
Speaker 9 (01:21):
I think it's the same every year. You know, prepare,
you know, make sure I'm not the best of my
possible self, you know for this team. Just learning the offense,
master and the offense and just being available for the team.
I think that's the main thing. He let us know
every day it's a competition, so we both got to
work and don't compete for that job. And whoever wins
it wins.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
In the one position, we all know, we have to
get the quarterback settled. No, don't cut creator go Nathaniel
Finch putting together and opening right there in Florence. Well done, buddy.
Day two practice Scolts camp in Westfield. We are not there.
I shall explain why we're not there, why the hell
(01:57):
I wouldn't be there anyway. But I'll explain even further
why we're not there because we have something to get
to at our location and a big reason why you
need to motivate and join us. Because we have been
at the other Taylor's Pub locations in the past. This
is the first time we've done a show at this one,
(02:19):
and this one is Taylor's Pub. It's just a little
bit each east, I should say, of Ditch Road off
of eighty sixth Street. We are on the northwest side
Taylor's Pub location. It is awesome like the others, and
we are going to have a lot to do over
the course of the afternoon. Let me get you updated
before we bring on board Brent Holverson coming up in
(02:41):
just a second. Two Updated on the guest list, Updated
on what took place earlier today. Everybody's going to be
talking about Anthony Richardson and the pick. You have to
take all this in stride because again, it's not really
going to fully matter until there's actual games being played.
You know, not this being practice, But I know it's unsurprising,
(03:04):
and I know that all those opinions, those judgments are
going to be out there, and let's face it, we
know what all these judgments are going to be really
for both quarterbacks until they and I mean they either
Richardson or Jones, until they change your our mind, that
is going to be what everybody will be dealing with.
(03:26):
There's no way around it. We'll get you updated on
everything per usual. Make sure you know I heard Bernard
Ryman was on with Jake a little bit earlier something
else that he had mentioned about not being close numbers wise.
This is me paraphrasing how he answered a question that
was nicely asked by Jake about an extension on the horizon,
(03:49):
and evidently he and the Colts are not close. Let
me tell you this. I don't know Bernard Ryman very well.
He seems like a very smart dude, and I'm sure
you're surrounded by incredibly smart people. All you have to
do is kind of look at this operation right now
and go, all right, well, you have shown that you
are a good left tackle, that you should be able
(04:12):
to continue to grow as a left tackle. They already
pay a crapload of money to the dude right next
to you at left guard. Left tackles get paid handsomely
in the NFL. So at some point he's going to
like those numbers. At some point they're going to get
on the same page with those numbers. Let's face it,
(04:34):
you just don't jack around with some positions, and the
Colts have been jacking around with the quarterback and trying
this and trying that. That hasn't worked. If you got somebody,
you pay that somebody do you not. If you got somebody,
you pay somebody, and that is that. Bernard Ryman a
(04:54):
little bit earlier today with Jay Query, when I asked
the question about the possibility of an extension on the horizon,
his response was as follows.
Speaker 10 (05:03):
From my understanding is that the numbers don't always quite
add up yet, you know the way they might value
a position differently than my team thinks it is.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
You know, we're working.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
That's Bernard Ryman to Jake a little bit earlier, to
thank you. Nathaniel. Yeah, at some point, at some point,
if you believe in him as left tackle, and I
got news for you, I don't know who the hell
else you would believe in, right especially with the offensive line,
because you've got at least a cornerstone there at left tackle,
and you have the left guard, and now you have
(05:38):
the right tackle that is back with Braydon Smith hopefully
healthy and you know, stronger moving forward, and you're messing
around with the center position, you're messing around with the
right guard position. Yeah, you did not need to mess
around with anything else right here. And I think Jake
also had asked him whether or not he wants to
remain in a colt uniform for the long term.
Speaker 10 (06:00):
Oh absolutely, yes, yes, I mean, obviously we love it here,
would love to get things done. But I'm not involved
in this obviously. You have an agent that takes care
of this. From my understanders, they aren't on the same
page about things, so you said, they're not on the
same page as i've right now, and not exactly the
(06:21):
same page right now. So but I mean, as I said,
for me as a football player, I'm preparing for the
season because that's what matters.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Yeah, shout out to Bernard Rayman right there, the arc
of negotiations and making sure you get paid to the
level of your value. And again, you don't want to
have to mess around with the situation that you don't
have to mess around with. We've seen that over the
course of route how many years now. So you go
(06:49):
ahead and that's that in stone. Whenever you can, and
at some point here relatively soon, the two sides will
get together and you will have a left tackle for
the foreseeable future. By the way, I'm sure you can
check it out one O seven five thefan dot Com
The conversation Jacad with Bernard Ryman. A little bit earlier today,
(07:09):
Taekwan Lewis is going to join me. That's coming up
in the four o'clock hour. I didn't know a lot
of things about Taekwon Lewis other than he has fought
through really a myriad of injuries to get to where
he is right now to be back, and I do
know that he is a fun as hell conversation to have.
Taekwan Lewis a little bit later on on the show,
(07:31):
My Chapel with a second day of practice from Westfield.
Update for us coming up in the five o'clock hour
again Taylor's Pub. We're at Greenbriar here, just a little
bit east of Ditch off of eighty sixth Street on
the northwest side of Indy. It is a tavern tour
stop for the month of July, brought to you by
(07:51):
heaven Hill Distillery per usual, and it is awesome. This
is like the last Taylor's Pub for us to have
a show, and I mean us because Britt Holverson is
here from heaven Hill Distillery, my co host today for
this tavern tour stop. This is the last Tailor's Pub
that we have yet to do a show. We're breaking
(08:11):
the seal this afternoon. Here are we, Buddy absolutely not
a better place to do. We know, we love the
Taylor's crew and Kyle and Clinton. Thank you guys for
having us back.
Speaker 11 (08:19):
Great to be here at the Greenbrier location though, right
it's the first time for us and always a pleasure.
And you know, it's a little warm outside, so it
feels great. It's nice and cool.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
You don't even believe the only reason I have a
shirt on right now is because it's got our thing
on it right here, like it's our shirt, that's right.
Otherwise I'd be sitting here with no shirt on. Well, no,
I haven't water shirt all summer long. I'm shirtless. They
had to tell me last night it everwise, They said,
all right, yeah, I know you want to see earth
Win didn't five, but you got put a shirt on?
Did you have it off? Did you have your shirt
I had? I was pretty close. I kind of went
(08:49):
with the tank top. Okay, all right, I went with
the tank top. I actually was rocking a Ham's Premium
beer tank top last night, so I was about as
close to being shirtless as I could be. It was
a little bit of how was the show, by the way, awesome? Yea,
Philip Bailey is still an absolute musical genius. I think
two original members are still a part of Earth Wind
and Fire. Long ago we lost and this is a
(09:12):
really bad spot considering this last week of significant losses,
especially for us. They grew up as a member of
Generation X. We'll get to some of those in just
a second. But Maurice White passed away years ago. He
was I think the the original genius as far as
Earth Wind and Fire was concerned. But not only was
it a great show, but that venue is absolutely Brent spectacular.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
It is.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
It is I lovewise.
Speaker 11 (09:36):
It is one of the nicest additions to Indianapolis that
we've had, and not a better place to see a
show downtown than right there.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
So glad you had fun.
Speaker 11 (09:44):
Man, it was definitely a warm scorcher out as it
is today, but again good cool inside here, plenty of cocktails.
We got some samples kupan ry samples out there. Come
by and grab me, love to get you one and
we'll have some.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
I get a smile right there because stap here is awesome. Well,
I've been here a couple of different times. I had
to break this place in on my own around noon
a couple of different times, and I also went next
door to this grocery store next door. Holy crap, that
is awesome in there. Yes, right next to ye. I
was gonna go get some frozen squid and ewel before
(10:18):
I went home. I don't think I've ever seen frozen
squid does that with the with the Yes, it's high,
it's high protein. They have what are they called bowl
weavils that's very high in protein. I'm gonna go home
and eat some weavils. Okay, very high in protein. But no,
it was awesome. I love being up here and we
(10:39):
love you know, Kylin the gang at Taylor's Pub. They've
been so great to us, whether it's off of Westfield
Boulevard many times in the past or up in Ingles
with that location as well. And this is the first
time again just a little bit east of Ditch off
of eighty sixth Street, Greenbrier. It is Taylor's Pub and Brent.
It's just kind of more the same level of greatness
we have come to note and come to be a
(11:01):
part of with Colin the gang.
Speaker 11 (11:02):
It is and it's fun to you know, we surround
ourselves with great people do it makes it just what
we do that much more fun, right, So I know,
it's an hon to be back here. You know, you
mentioned Greatness, you know, quick little blurb. We had to
end this past week. We lost two big people in
the Greatness world, and Ozzy Osbourne and Hull Cogan too
as well.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
So Hull Cogan today. Okay, so we had Malcolm Jamal
Warner from the Cause of the Show for we had
Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic musician, the rocker, really the godfather
of heavy metal. You had Hull Cogan today. And yeah,
I think most people, especially if you're our age, especially
my age generation X, I mean, you grew up with
(11:42):
Hull Cogan, whether it was you know, WWF then in
the nineteen eighties or you know the cartoon that that
transitioned with in Saturday Morning. I first discovered hul Cogan
when he was Thunderlips even what nineteen eighty two in
Rocky three he was Thunderlips, you know, and and then
he just became a cultural icon from that point in
(12:04):
time on. And then we also lost today and that
was just breaking within the last hour. Chuck Mangioni, who
is one of the iconic musicians of really multi eras,
multi decades, and he passed away at the age of
eighty five, Chuck MANGIONI so well up. Obviously pay tribute
(12:25):
with some maar entries with that in mind over the
course of the afternoon. But it has been a rough week,
especially for those kids of the nineteen eighties. So you
grew up with all of this as a cultural background,
and it's been a tough week for that. It has been.
It has been.
Speaker 11 (12:40):
Hey, I'm gonna give a quick shout out to mister
Kevin Crinhagen, who speaking of growing up with Seymour, Indiana.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Kevin Crinagen, this is right out of Jackson County last day,
just kind of possible hang out with. Did he have
a nickname or you just call him Crinhagen. We did
call him something, chief chief. It was Chief Chief cranagg
because you just know, hey, crying egg. You know, that's
just too many syllables. You gotta call it something shorter
(13:07):
than that, don't you. Yeah, I thought maybe I crying
or Hagen or cray hay or something like that can
make up a new one here.
Speaker 9 (13:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
No, but it's awesome to see.
Speaker 11 (13:19):
I mean you speak of yeah, growing up in the eighties, right,
I mean, we were all into WWF and and back
in the day. And I you know, my buddy Clint
von Delligan oother Seymour Owl that I speak of here,
he sent he sent me a video earlier when he
was on he was the Rocks security guy and he
kept Paul coganhead of going into the Rocks dressing room.
Speaker 3 (13:39):
Really yeah, yeah, pretty wild that he sent clip of
that too. I mean, and and Hulk has had also
some some downtimes here certainly, but I I do like here.
Remember my first wrestling event was a w WF Saturday
Night Made event in nineteen eighty five downtown at Market
(14:00):
Square Arena. We got dropped off and that was and
that's why I don't want the era of downtown. But
coming to that again, it was nothing. You get dropped off,
I got, what are you gonna do? Well, you could
go to the hiat there's a McDonald's, or you can
just sit out on the street and that's about it.
There was nothing going on that was before you know,
clearly Circle Center and before what was a downtown renaissance,
(14:21):
before Union Station, back in the day. But yes, Hull
Cogan was the main the fronts of what was a
card of the Saturday night main event at Market Square Arena.
So that was my first time in nineteen eighty five.
That's pretty wild, man. Yeah. A lot of good memories there,
a lot of good memory way back right there. So
it has been a tough week. I do. I suffer
(14:43):
because I never saw I never attended an oz fest.
I never saw Ozzy do a live show. And that's
why I try to see so many different things now
because you just don't know when it's all going to end. Man,
you don't. I don't want to try to preach anybody
right now about that, but you know, there's a reason
why I love and discuss music and want to be
a part of it because you just don't know when
(15:05):
that person is going to no longer be with us
to perform live like that.
Speaker 11 (15:08):
So yeah, and I didn't realize, you know, when he
did that the final show, which was like a week
and a half, two weeks ago or whenever, that was
how bad he was at that point, and you know,
he really put all he had into it to make
sure he was able to do one last show. Money
went to the charity too, which was awesome, right, So yeah,
but just pretty amazing, and you know, again, a lot
of a lot of history there and uh, you know,
(15:30):
rest in peace to all the good guys.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
That's Brent all Ofison right there. Heaven Hill Distillery brings
a tavern tour stop to you Taylor's Pub. Now you're
going to look it up and you're gonna go, what
white man of you? Guys are always off at Westfield Boulevard, No.
Just a little bit east of Ditch off of eighty
sixth Street is our location today. We love to have you.
The free samples per usual are flowing from the roster
(15:52):
of great beverages with heaven Hill Distillery. Britt and I
have conversations about the NFL. I'm sure because now I
guess we're fully engolved into the NFL. Given now the
Colts are a couple of practices deep in training camp.
We shall get to that and more on the quarterback
battle with Mike Chapel coming up here in the five
o'clock now of the Fever. By the way, they're at
(16:13):
home later on tonight in the Stranger Things uniforms they'll
be rocking. No, Caitlyn Clark, seems like like the Stranger
Things Now would be Kaitlyn Clark's participation, So I'm not
gonna hold my breath, but at some point over the
course of the season, hopefully Caitlin Clark is back. I
know that they're suggesting. I saw this a little bit earlier.
(16:34):
There's no further injuries other than the groin situation she's
dealing with right now. So hopefully, let's just say, for example,
by August, Kaitlyn Clark is back, because even on the
season is not where they want to be and Las Vegas,
the aces they play later on tonight, Brenner kind of
(16:55):
right around that, even on the season situation record wise,
it'd be nice to see them get back. And that's
been without Kaylen Clark has been a great deal of
kind of up and down, lack of cohesion, which is expected,
but it's still, you know, nonetheless not disappointing with those
circumstances involved.
Speaker 11 (17:16):
No, absolutely, and she sees such the X factor, you know,
and I think we even saw that a little bit
for the w AB All Star Game, which we had
the pleasure you have a kicking off last Friday. We
were at O'Reilly's plub, great time and you know, we
had to some great things going on there. But I
think the crowd would have been a little bit more
if Caitlyn was even playing, right, I mean, we've drawn.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
Some more time. People were selling their all Star tickets off,
you know, and that's one thing everybody has to realize.
I mean, it does. It does start. The interest level
that has grown, Brent, that the w NBA has become
is in large part because of her, So you got
to play off of that. I mean, I hate to
say it. I mean it sounds weird to say, but
you gotta nurture it, cultivate it and whatever, because I
(17:57):
mean it can just as quickly go away and don't
want that. And you see the circumstances without her participation.
So hopefully she gets back and can stay healthy because
this season has not been it it has not been
and you know, again, get healthy, right.
Speaker 11 (18:11):
She came back maybe a little too soon than the
first time, and then now I'm going to arrest it out.
Get back and get in and you know, again, what
she's done for the sport, the WNBA has been astronomical.
But the Fever need her and they need her on
that court, So doubt about that she gets well soon
and back out on the court and getting some w's Taylor.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
Peter is somebody we discussed with his head coach from Liberty,
Richie McKay, a couple of weeks ago. If you remember,
he was a second round selection. He gets signed for
a two way. It looks like Enrique Freeman is on
the go and another is to surprise you because there's
a reason why they targeted Taylor and Peter. We talked
to Chad Buchanan about that going back a couple of
(18:47):
weeks ago as well what they liked in his game.
It's kind of interesting. Taylor Peter was a guy Liberty
and we talked to his head coach again, Richie McKay,
about this. That came off the bench. He was their
sixth man and a lot of people because they're a
team that I think now they're in the American the DOUBLEA,
I believe is where Liberty is located conference wise on
(19:08):
their affiliation now. But he came off the bench. He
was the sixth man, whereas he would be and could
be starting. However, he chose not to disrupt things that
were going on over the course of the season to
come off the bench. And I think we got a
little bit of a taste and I know that they
want to see more. I know Ryan Carr in particular,
(19:32):
that scouted him a great deal, was very impressed with
his skill set. He has an NBA level transferable skill set.
But you want to work him, They're going to work
him through it. And I really probably at a lower
level because it's Liberty and I know Brooks Barnheids are
a great deal, and I know what Oklahoma City did
(19:55):
in selecting him in round two and what they expect.
I think both he and Taylor Peter you are kind
of on a similar trajectory. Both organizations have in mind
what they could become and how they would like to
utilize them, and they're moving them along. And they were
both targeted in the second round for a reason. And
(20:17):
we got that news regarding Taylor Peter a little bit
earlier today. So, Brent, as far as our Tavin tourstop
is concerned, right here. Other reasons why people should join today.
Speaker 11 (20:27):
Well, again, not a better group of people to be
surrounded by than the Taylor's crew. And again, what Kyle
and Clinton put together all their staff, great food, great cocktails,
a lot of great people filling in here right now.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
So we've got a lot of good things going on.
Speaker 11 (20:39):
Some complimentary samples, get you some of the cool off juice,
if you will, from this hot, hot day outside, nice
and cool seventy degrees inside right here, right now.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Taylor Peter is another guy too that I wanted to
go ahead and put a bow on. That particular conversation
is he will surprise you with his level of athleticism.
I think so people in Vegas were kind of surprised.
I mean, he's been known as a shooter, but he
will surprise you with his level of athleticism. And that's
(21:09):
probably what gives you me even more interest in him
moving forward. And plus it's the type of season where
you you're going to be able, I think, still to
be competitive, but you want to also cultivate and grow,
and Taylor Peters is one of those guys that they
certainly want to look at in that capacity right there.
So that news a little bit earlier today, by the way, too,
(21:30):
if you want to hear more about him, that Richie
McKay interview is up somewhere at one oh seven five
thefan dot com. You can go track that down and
listen at your leisure with his head coach at Liberty
describe exactly what he coached up and what he saw
and how that could translate to the ultimate level in
the NBA. Right, two, three, nine, ten seventy is that number.
(21:52):
I should also mention Brent that our friend Matt Godbout's
going to slide by from Triple A a little bit
later on. He's got tickets to hand out. I just
don't know where the tickets are going to be yet
to what, but he's got tickets. And let me tell
you this. At rue Off and we've got some nice
shows coming up, you have early entry if you're a
Triple A member at rue Off, you have the Premiere
(22:15):
Lounge with Triple A. There's a lot of really good
reasons to become a Triple A member and to win
some tickets later on today. Absolutely, I'm looking forward to
seeing him.
Speaker 11 (22:23):
And you know, I've been a Triple A member for
many years, thirty plus years, I guess. But you know,
I guarantee whatever tickets he has, it's gonna be good.
There's gonna be great, great seats because I'm we did
this past we did and he well.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
They gave somebody four tires in the parking lot last summer.
To remember that with my pit crew somebody won four tires.
Are we're going to go ahead and slap him one
in the parking lot right I can't beat that service
right there, which is wonderful. We should also mention too.
I don't know if you've ever met Jonathan. I met
him in the back because I was going to the bathroom.
Some of my best relationships were built when I'm going
to the can. And what's amazing. I'm fifty five now
(22:57):
and I go to the can, uh so much more frequently.
It's like, and it depends on what size bladder I'm wearing.
I don't know yet. Like last night, I clearly had
the small bladder on. It was problematic.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
But today, hopefully because I'm back here in the corner,
I have the larger bladder on. But Jonathan Dougdale, I
don't know if you this is historically awesome. And you
know where I am with protein and quality meats right
here ken Kaid's Meat Market. It's a great spot locations
(23:30):
in and around in the Jonathan Dougdale, the owner is
back there right now.
Speaker 11 (23:35):
That's awesome hanging out. Great spot to go along with
with the meter too, you know, yeah, Jonathan man, you
guys have bison.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Oh geez, I almost slide by fifty six in Illinois.
The location nearest us about four miles away. I need
me a little high protein bison right there, right up
your l Jonathan Dougdale is in the house. All right,
we got samples and more, Brent exploit we do. Come
on out. Let's let's try some of these samples.
Speaker 11 (24:02):
Got some great brands like Larceny, Bourbon Evan, Williams of
em Williams Flavors, got the deep end vodka lineup, and
we've also got some Lunazoul and Tequila Ocho that are
now in the house too. So come on up here.
We'll get some samples in a cool down on a
hot day.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
To Brent Holverson haven't held distillery This tavern tour stop

of Ditch off of eighty sixth Street. We would love

Get your race updates here all month long and make
sure to enter for your chance to win five hundred
dollars by predicting the winner of this year's race. On
July twenty seventh, two to one oh seven five the
fan dot Com to winter. Now here's your twenty twenty
five race update, brought to you by bet.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Three six five. Allow me to update you this weekend
the Brickyard four hundred. I should also mention too tomorrow
nine over Lucas Old Raceway, the Truck Series. I love
the Lucas Old Raceway. You're gonna love that race too.
Xfinity Series Brickyard four hundred over last weekend. Denny Hamlin
was the winner. And you've got a Brickyard four one
(26:00):
hundred weekend coming up. And there's your update with Naughety
three to five and one seven fan.
Speaker 6 (26:05):
The ride with JMV. Not your the lemonheads, my dass both.
You won't go.
Speaker 7 (26:10):
Down coming ninety three five and one oh seven five
The fan.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Feels good man.
Speaker 9 (26:15):
When they told me I couldn't throw for a few weeks,
definitely hit me hard because you know, we were just
getting in the grooves, just getting started. You know, I
felt like I was making progress, you know, getting ready
to work with the team, but just being out here
day one. You know, it's always eciding, you know, knocking
off the rust and just being out there having fun
with the guys. I think it's the same every year.
You know, prepare, you know, make sure I'm not the
best of the best of my my possible self, you know,
(26:36):
for this team. Just learning the offense, master and the
offense and just being available for the team. I think
that's the main thing every day is. It's a competition.
So we both got a working gonnep for that job.
And whoever wins it wins it.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
Yeah, I'm master of that offense. Would you any for
the love of God, some somebody under center master the offense?
Come on, I'm telling you, I mentioned this and and yeah,
I guess it. I guess it is a shot to
a degree. I'm ready for another, Jeffy, if you're ready.
I'm ready to so many people. And I've mentioned this before.
(27:10):
Apathetic about the start of this season or early this
season in general. Somewhere and sometime you need a spark,
you need a little bit of juice because it is
not happening right now. And we can have all the
conversations in the world, all the sound we play back
(27:30):
for you in the world, but it will not matter
until that happens anything, all right. I don't think it's
a bummer that has taken so long, But if it
ever were to evolve and happen, who the hell cares?
Just otherwise the alternative is what we've been a part
(27:52):
of now for a while, and nobody wants that any longer.
They don't. My chapel gets us updated on day two
of practice coming up the five o'clock hour. From the
defensive side of the football, it is Taekwon Lewis could
have join us coming up at the four o'clock hour
the Faniels back of the studio. Dave and Ethan here
on side. We have a fifty dollars Visa gift card
(28:13):
to give away fellows over there too as we are
live at Taylor's Pub at Greenbrier location. More on that
in a second. Devs the onside engineer Brent Halverson rejoins
us now from heaven Hill Distillery and Brandon is a
very special guest in the house today.
Speaker 11 (28:28):
We do have we have Brandon Cass here who is
the founder and promoter for mudsock Fest six.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
That's a Fisher's Noblesville thing, that's mud Sock's what's this about.
Speaker 11 (28:39):
Well, I'm gonna let bring g take over here because
it's a big festival that's starting this Weekendstick Waters Campground,
so got some great stuff.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
I'm gonna let Brandon.
Speaker 11 (28:47):
Brandon, thanks for joining us here and tell us a
little bit about mud Soock.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
What's going on?
Speaker 12 (28:50):
Yeah, Mudsock fst started in Fisher's, Indiana, which it did. Yeah,
mudsock area, which before they built the reservoir, it was
like a little swamp lamp.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (28:58):
When the horses would walk through there, they would come
out wearing mud socks. So the first three festivals we
had were in Fishers, but then we outgrew our area
we were having it in, so I hooked up with
Brent and we're having a Mystic Waters campground for our
third year. So everything's going great.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
Well, And what's interesting now in Fishers there's not probably
ten feet of grass to walk for any longer without
something concrete or built there is there not right, pretty much? True,
pretty much true.
Speaker 11 (29:25):
Another cool thing though, I mean, and then all this
is for charity too, right, so it goes with the
if you.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Want to take over and tell us body about the charity.
Speaker 12 (29:33):
Yeah, all the money we raised goes to Children's therap
Play Foundation, which is only a couple miles from here
in Carmel. It's one of the nation's largest hippo therapy
pediatric therapy centers in the nation, which is therapy with horses.
So we sponsored two therapy horses up at their herd.
We also give out a scholarship. We also donate to
(29:53):
the Animal Protection League of Interry. So it's just a
bunch of good people getting together, having a good time,
raising a bunch of money and then giving it away.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
At Mystic Waters Campground. Were, by the way, our third
annual Labor Day weekend Bender here's coming off right around
the corner as well. Absolutely well Bran Mystic Waters Campground
this weekend. Right, that's right, this weekend.
Speaker 11 (30:12):
So mud sock Fest of Friday night Jansen is playing
from seven to probably eleven area and then Saturday.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Is pretty pretty awesome. Saturday's gonna be a lot of
games on Saturday.
Speaker 12 (30:21):
We've got stuff all day Saturday, a lot.
Speaker 11 (30:23):
Of fun things, I mean, starting at two o'clock, you
got the Obscene Sardines playing Corey Hill from three to four,
got love Sick moan for.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Sardines.
Speaker 11 (30:32):
Next door on the Frozen a little different, John Little Yeah,
sixty seven thirty Feel in Minnesota, which they were out
there last year and Why Store played out last year
and it was outstanding.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
And then and then this is a treat coming up.
Speaker 11 (30:44):
We have the American Fools Band, so John Mellencamp cover band,
probably the best that's out there, and a couple of
them speaking of Seymour Indiana. Mister Jason Stall and Brian
mckinna are part of the American Fools Band.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
They'll be out there playing and rocking to they forget
all about that much Old Blank and learn how to
play guitar. You got. They don't say they say the word.
They say the word, say the word.
Speaker 12 (31:04):
I know the guy that runs is he may have
already requested that song Old Blank.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
So that was always right, we discussed now like today,
Now it doesn't even go on whatever. So oh yeah,
it's kind of rolls off the tongue. Now, just right
right off the tongue. That's fine. Now the Feely Minnesota
band is it like sound Garden esque?
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (31:24):
Get that song is all you got?
Speaker 1 (31:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (31:26):
There there are guys from Ohio, Dela Ohio coming over.
They do nineties cover band Allison Chains. That's great, Oh
it is.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
You know how hard it would be to be a
cover band and have a Lane Staley or Chris Cornell voice.
How the hell is that work? Oh yeah, that's hard. Yeah,
darned to luck. Yeah yeah, not be like mad Season
or something like that from the nineteen nineties.
Speaker 12 (31:48):
That's sardines are actually going to be a very interesting band.
There are four high school guys out a month Sie
that got a whole episode one to play. So they're
making their worldwide festival debut at Fampground, all.
Speaker 11 (31:59):
Right, they're kicking day off bus. There's also what there's
cornhill cornhill tournaments.
Speaker 12 (32:04):
There are silent auction. We've got a silent auction going
on all day, cornhole tournament, fishing contests, We're going to
have an adult paddle board race. Be careful what we
get into on that one. Yeah, fifty to fifty drawings.
There's stuff going on all day and all this money
goes to a good calls, have food all day, love it.
Speaker 11 (32:21):
Plus John Usually I hope you can get a chance
to stop by because there's also the Volkswagen Bus Village
and that's what Brandon and a big group. There'll be
thirteen fifteen buses, Volkswagen buses out there, and so there's
a Volkswagen Bus open house house.
Speaker 3 (32:34):
Do a little giveaway for the best camp site and stuff.
Rents of the judge for that. That's right.
Speaker 12 (32:39):
That's actually how we got connected. Was I have a
nineteen seventy four Volkswagen so for a bug, mine's exactly
like his.
Speaker 3 (32:45):
His is a little nicer and he's got the what's
that called that you tow behind?
Speaker 12 (32:48):
It looks like, oh, the Areba puck. Yeah, sixty seven
a Reba puck. It's already out at your place. I
thought it's standing. I mean a camper. It's a little
tear drop camper made in nineteen sixty seven.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
Yeah, wow, it's all. That's awesome.
Speaker 11 (33:00):
It's really cool though, when you see everybody set up
and they decked these things out, I mean, it's it's
pretty special.
Speaker 3 (33:05):
And that's what that land out there is for. And
I'm excited to have you get You guys have to
put seat belts into your VW bus because there's zero
way they came with. Oh mine has one. That's a
really yeah, it doesn't or anything. It just me, you know,
right click it. Everybody's gonna bounce around. There's definitely not
an air bag in there, so there's a bag.
Speaker 11 (33:24):
The positive thing is is it doesn't go much more
than sixty five miles an hour, so you know you
can stay.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
Pretty stay pretty eventually, yea like stones to pick up
that speed, right, there's nothing better Brandon one more time.
So we're doing this for charity, a great cause, and
you're going to have some fun.
Speaker 12 (33:41):
Oh yeah, I've got a great time. We're going to
have food out there, we're giving away. We have a
donation breakfast Saturday morning, slow and low barbecue truck there
all day. Am I giving away about one hundred and
fifty grilled cheese Saturday night, which I think you had
won it Labor Day.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Yes, the last grilled cheese. That's probably the last grilled
cheese I have, right yeah. Matter of fact, I think
the last piece of bread I may have had right
there was that grilled cheese right there. Yeah. But do
remember now I remember seeing that VW bus when you're
out there. It's a great time. Oh it is.
Speaker 11 (34:11):
It is, And anybody can come out and again it's
a twenty five dollars and give you.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
It's all donation.
Speaker 11 (34:17):
That's just enjoy the land and then that money goes
all towards the charities too.
Speaker 12 (34:21):
So you can you can get tickets and find all
this information out at www dot Mudsockfest dot com. We're
looking forward to seeing everybody.
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Brandon, thank you very much for coming by. Good to
see again. You appreciate man. Looking forward to bandit cast
right there Mudsock Fast Mystic Waters Campground. That is going
to be a great time. I cannot wait to get
up there with you as well. Did you know that
we're doing a precursor to the third annual weekend Bender
for Labor Day at Mystic Waters Campground on the ninth
of August. I am doing a live JMV takeover inside
(34:51):
the tap room at the Indiana State Fair. Is that right?
You mentioned that? Is it official?
Speaker 1 (34:56):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (34:56):
It is the tap room at the Indiana State Fair
that Saturday night. I've never been in the tap room
at the Indiana State Fair, but I've heard good things,
so that should be awesome. And again, that is kind
of a warm up for our Labor Day weekend Bender,
which is coming up on the JMV Takeover B one
oh five point seven for those shows as well. This
is ninety three five one oh seven five the fan
(35:18):
of Reset Taylor's Pub, Northwest side our location just off
of eighty sixth Street, a little bit east of Ditch Road.
The first time we have been at this Taylor's Pub location.
We can count on. Thank you, Thank you, Brandon, I
appreciate it. Count On. Billy Jimmy's over there always count
on them and we hello on and the sports news
(35:38):
today is the battle of the quarterbacks that continues. Uh,
Taekwon Lewis, Who's going to join us at the top
of the hour. I don't believe practice today. I believe
it was a part of some of the defensive linemen
that did not take part. But it was kind of
interesting regarding Taekwon Lewis in a really good summer and
he's a guy that has just perseed through injuries and
(36:01):
they like him enough to keep him around clearly, But
he got to go home and celebrate a community day
in his hometown of Tarboro, North Carolina, And I was
doing a little bit of research on that, and Tarboro,
North Carolina has a number of athletes and celebrities. It's
(36:25):
a town of around fifteen thousand, I think, just right
outside of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. But a number of
athletes that you would know and an actor that you
would know, celebrities you would know from where Taekwon Lewis
is from. Todd Gurley, the former running back of the NFL,
(36:46):
and in Georgia, Kelvin Bryant, the former running back Old
school running back, is from Tarboro, North Carolina. Trent Tucker,
remember him at Minnesota and then with the Knicks. The
three point shooter is from true or North Carolina. Mike Caldwell,
the baseball player the right hit to pitcher, most notably
for the Brewers, is from that location as well. And
(37:09):
did you know Cooter from the Dukes of Hazard Ben
Jones played the role of Cooter is also from the
hometown of Taekwan. Lewis up. Brent's going to join us
coming up at the top of the year. That's outstanding. Wow,
small world it is. It is as incredible, and I
do have a great deal of admiration for Taekwan because
(37:30):
of all the injuries he has gone through. And normally
that's going to get you sent out the door immediately
if you can't count on or be counted on, if
you don't have that availability because of injury. I mean,
it's tough. Normally they go ahead and get rid of
you and go a different location, a different body, different personnel.
But with him, you know, they bring him back because
(37:50):
they like him. Clearly the cults have liked it for
a number of years now well, and you know, get balking.
Speaker 11 (37:54):
There's lots of changes as we all know, still waiting
to see how that quarterback situation is going to play out,
but it's gonna be dynamic. And hey, we're only seven
weeks away now, yeah, which is outstanding. So we've got
a pretty full schedule building as we talk right now
for our LARSI Locks, Old Shots, eighth year in activity.
It's gonna be going on and we've got a couple
(38:15):
of fun new editions and a couple of our old
favorites as well.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
Did are we going to? Can we hint on where
we're going to as far as because you have one
that's going to blow everybody away in September. There is
one in September. It'll be week two, Week two Larsity
Bourbon Locks and Luno's Old Tequila Shots.
Speaker 11 (38:35):
I will just tell you it's at the number one
bar in Bloomington, Indiana.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
What do you guys think might be the number one
bar in Bloomington, Indiana? And it's always been a great place,
but I don't think it's been number one. But now
man hitting big.
Speaker 11 (38:51):
It is rocket and rolling. I was there yesterday with
the guys. We're really excited to see Kevin. Great to
see you, bro, really excited. I mean this kind of
a new program where kicked off Monday Night Football with him.
We're gonna be doing a Monday night football program with
him throughout the year up there with Lunazul and Larceny
and Evan Williams too. So but we're gonna be there
for week two and again we'll bring that to a
(39:12):
little shed a little light on that as we go.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
But we do have some some news that just came in.
Let's tease this break, all right, but this is the
first time we've ever ever done this. So those of
you that own a bar or no a tavern owner
were we'll come back with this on the other sidide.
This is interesting news. This first time we've ever done this.
(39:35):
It's kind of exciting too. I mean it's a little
bit really cool.
Speaker 11 (39:37):
It's sad, but we're gonna pivot and add a little
excitement to it and see who's out there and might
be able to come up with a good spot.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
Take the way. Lara Overton, once upon a time was
the MVP of David Thornton's youth football camp. So and
thank you Lara for that. It is kind of full
circle for Taekwon Lewis. I think with Lara it also
is noted that Taekwon Lewis is just a really good
conversational dude who joins us coming up at the top
(40:06):
of the hour. Don't miss that interview. And uh, tavern owners,
got some news for you coming up on the other side.
This is going to be good for somebody, and sooner
rather than later, we'll get into that coming up in
just a moment. Brent John Taylor's Pub, Greenbrier location Tavern
tour Stop the month of July, do not go anywhere
(40:27):
the Triple A membership loud via YouTube live and ninety
three to five one oh seven five the.
Speaker 7 (40:31):
Fan the ride with JMV.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
Hey, my buddy, steam ahead over there.
Speaker 13 (40:39):
I want to go over there watching I'm.
Speaker 7 (40:42):
Driving Nutty three five and one oh seven five the fan, Miss.
Speaker 3 (40:49):
John, and I am damn glad you're here with us.
I love to see these familiar faces. Are tavern tour stop?
Is it Taylor's Pub? We've been at many a Taylor's
pub in the past. Westfield Bill hard end goals, but
never do this one. In Greenbrier, a little east of
Ditch Road eighty sixth Street. I'm John. That's Devin the engineer,
Dave Ethan over there with a fifty dollars Visa gift
(41:11):
card to give away. Matt god Bout on the inbound
two from Triple A with tickets to give away, courtesy
of Triple A. Brent Holver Centers across from us. We've
got news. We do have news. It's pretty exciting. This
is breaking news.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
Now.
Speaker 3 (41:24):
Everybody listen up. If you're a tavern or a bar owner,
or if you know somebody that is, this is important,
Brent share this is so.
Speaker 11 (41:31):
We had an account that we were going to be
at Benner for a long time and they unfortunately closed
this pat in the past few weeks. So just finding
that out and digging through some things, we thought, you
know what, hey, let's throw it out there.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
Let's see lit'll jump all there.
Speaker 11 (41:44):
Any interest out there, if you've got something, shoot us
a note. We'd love to see. We've got we've got
a tavern tour the end of August. So that will
be August twenty eighth. It's Thursday, be there from three
to six, and we would love to hear some of
your thoughts on where that might be. Yes, we'd like
to go and we will definitely announce this. John, you'll
announce this here in the next week when we get
it all pinpointed. But if you got any thoughts out there,
(42:06):
let us know. We want to throw up that jump ball, yes,
and see who's out there that would like to have us, cause.
Speaker 3 (42:12):
This is the first time we've ever done this. And
if you're the owner, if you know the owner, or
if you just want to see us at one of
your favorite places, hit me up at JAMV ten seventy
or JMV at one oh seven five the fan dot com,
or you can call it two three nine ten seventy.
Let Nathaniel know and we'll get you on and talk
(42:32):
whatever you're thinking about. This is the first time we've
ever done it. Your place is where we're gonna go next,
the place of your choice, Brent. That's right.
Speaker 11 (42:42):
I'm anxious to see what what some thoughts are out there,
and again we love to find as my boss. And
speaking of mister Randy Strand, his last days are coming up.
His effresial last day is next Thursday.
Speaker 3 (42:55):
Is a legend.
Speaker 11 (42:56):
He is a legend, but as he calls him, a
joint something that is, you know, a tried and true
It's been there for twenty plus years and it's a
place that you love to go, all your friends love
to go, and it's got some great history to it,
and we want to be there to celebrate with you.
So we'd love to hear your thoughts and we will
take these into heavy consideration and we'll see if we
can't even come up with something by the end of
(43:17):
the show, but if not, midweek, we'll let everybody know
where we'll be at.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
We will be somewhere August twenty eighth.
Speaker 11 (43:23):
It's a Thursday for our last tavern tour before the
NFL season starts it just right after that, so looking
forward to that.
Speaker 3 (43:30):
It's like an all Requests Thursday afternoon. Really, it's like
an all request Saturday night where you call up and
request what you want. You tell us where you want
us to go, and we'll see if that fits and
roll with it. Taylor's Pub for the month of July,
and that's our tavern tour stop. That's Brent. I'm John
Taekwan Lewis coming up Colster Fitsive Lineman after four o'clock.
Mike Chappell with a Day two practice update from Westfield
(43:52):
after five. We would love to see you here off
of eighty six, just a little east of Ditch Road
Tavern tour stop at Taylor's Pub with Nan, the ride
with jmv oh and you on in front of the
school with I M to have a few words with
you by.
Speaker 7 (44:06):
God ninety three five and one oh seven five the fan.
Speaker 3 (44:10):
Back at Taylor's Pub. I'll explain more in a second.
Hul Cogan passed away earlier today at the age of
seventy one. And we know this is from the first
WWF album. I want to say this is like nineteen
eighty five or eighty six. And here's where I guess
(44:31):
it's interesting. From the state of Indiana. Rick Derringer was
actually doing all the music work. The Hull Cogan just
kind of did the lip syncing and fake guitar playing
if you remember in the video. But this was the
Hull Cogan song I Am a Real American that was
(44:51):
performed by Rick Derringer. And we lost Rick Derringer about
two months ago. The former Hoosier and Hulk Hogan passed
away earlier today. What's that, Yeah, well, yeah, yeah, so
Rick Derringer was from the state of Indiana, if you remember,
(45:12):
I think moved to Ohio. I believe he had a friend.
He have somebody in his family called Sometimes I get
things a little bit mixed up, but if I recollect
that accurately called in after he had passed away, and
Hulk Hogan passed away earlier today at the age of
seventy one, and that goes along with Ozzy Osbourne a
(45:35):
couple of days ago, and Malcolm Jamal Warner who grown
in the Caribbean off the coast of Costa Rica earlier
this week and then at the age of eighty four,
one of the more incredible in the past and really
in the present musicians, Chuck Mangioni passed away today at
(45:57):
the age of eighty four. So it has been and
a great deal of bad luck. That is Wholk Cogan
was involved with that, but Rick Derringer did all the
work on that particular song. Hey, we are back at
Taylor's Pub. Thank you for joining us. Taekwon Lewis is
going to join us, coming up in a couple of
minutes too. Mike Chappel regarding day two of Colt's camp
(46:19):
and practice the quarterback battle. The more emphasis that have
been and it has been put on from lou Anarroumo
on that secondary with Mike coming up in the five
o'clock galler. Matt got Bat at Triple A has got
some tickets to give away. We'll do that a little
bit later on as well. Brent Holverson rejoins, because we
did break that news a little bit earlier regarding this
(46:41):
show and a Tavern tour stop that is available now
in the month of August, so next month coming up,
there's availability there. I've got Jeremiah that has mentioned the
Mason Inn in Pittsburgh, Green Street Pub in Brownsburg, couple
right there in Hendrix County that Jeremile would like us
(47:03):
to hit again, Mason in Pittsburgh, Green Street in Brownsburg.
And Brent, I know you have some other opportunities of
interest pouring in over there too. Yeah, I've got got
a few coming in here.
Speaker 11 (47:15):
And then one of them a big shout out to
mister Pat Hurley who's out there. And Pat Hurley is
Johnny's one of my all time favorite people when I
got in this industry. You know, Pat's a mentor of
mine and and there's not many better people than him,
and I love hearing from you, Pat, So thank you
for shooting reaching out.
Speaker 3 (47:31):
We've got a we've got a request for the Blind
Owl as well, so Blind seventy first and Benford is
that locate.
Speaker 11 (47:37):
Great spot there too as well. So we've got we've
got some coming in. This is great to see and
great to hear. You know, it's pretty exciting kind of
what's to be We don't know yet, right, it's the unknown,
so looking forward to it. There's a lot of great
spots out there. Uh, definitely looking forward to Uh. We'll
fine tune this, we'll hone in on it, and we
will let you know hopefully before the end of the show.
Speaker 3 (47:57):
If not, it'll be first first of the week. I
have two from my neck of the woods, which is
way way down in my neck of the woods. One
is the odin Tavern we did Oden, Indiana, famous for
their fish sandwhich. The other is Aggie's Funhouse, which on
the square in Bloomfield, Indiana, the county seat of Green
(48:19):
County here. Recently and I know the owner, Rusty Hash
very well, has been redone. So Aggie's Funhouse in Bloomfield
also another entry into where we may end up going
coming up in August.
Speaker 11 (48:34):
Brent, Yeah, this would be a little little due diligence
here to make sure we make calls or some things
that have to line up perfectly.
Speaker 3 (48:39):
But we do love these requests. It's kind of exciting too.
Speaker 11 (48:42):
This might be something we build upon for the future,
and once we set out a couple of them, maybe.
Speaker 3 (48:47):
We start doing one or tw once or twice a year.
All request yes, Tavern to ih that idea at all,
because I think we end up you end up getting
some stuff that maybe you don't initially think about it.
Speaker 11 (48:58):
There's a lot that's the thing, it's and that's what
we're looking for in the tavernture, right, John, when we
started this this a thirty year but correct, it was
finding the places that have been there, tried and true.
You know it's not your's you it's your hometown bar,
right It's it's a place that everybody goes, they know
your name. That's the type of place we want to
be at. So keep coming in. We love this and
exciting to see what's coming next.
Speaker 3 (49:19):
At JMV ten seven. If you want to send me
something via X the bar tavern dive where you want
us to go coming up in the month of August,
or you can call in at two three nine ten seven.
He send me an email at jmvia one oh seven
five the fan dot com. I mentioned Mike Chapel's going
to join us coming up at the five o'clock hour
(49:40):
as well. We're going to have some stuff to give away.
Taylor's Pub off of eighty sixth Street, just a little
east of Ditch Road on the northwest side. This is
the tavern tour stop for the month of July meantime
on the Andy Moore Automotive Group hotline. Right now, you
know him from the Colts defensive line and you know,
perseverance comes to immediately when you hear the name Taekwon
(50:03):
Lewis as a part of Colt's camp right now in
the s field. Who joins us once again on the
Andy Moore I Demotive Group potline. Hey, Taekwon, thank you
for the time. How are you?
Speaker 1 (50:11):
Yes, I appreciate it. Thank you for allowing me come on? Yeah,
pretty well.
Speaker 3 (50:15):
So well, we're going to we're going to dive in
a little bit to te town and your community celebration
in your hometown of North Carolina. And also I've been
told from a mutual acquaintance that you're a big time
car guy, so we're gonna get into that a little
bit too. Yes, I've done my damn research, Taekwon. I
(50:37):
appreciate it, Man, Taekwon, Lewis joins us. Let's start right here,
transition from one coordinator to the other. You go from
Gus Bradley now and what he does and what he
wants to now something completely different to lou Anarumo. How
is that transitional process going so far?
Speaker 1 (50:54):
Oh, it's been great.
Speaker 3 (50:55):
Man.
Speaker 1 (50:55):
Louis very hands on, very very very starring and hit
the detail. He's very I guess he has a big Playboark.
Let's let's say that lou he has a lot of
things to offer to the defense, gets a lot of
guys in great positions to be successful.
Speaker 3 (51:13):
For those that are kind of curious, I'm curious. I'll
talk to Nick Cross, your teammate yesterday about this. But
your thoughts on what fans will see, maybe some of
the nuances and differences that they will see, or maybe
even better yet, what they won't see that you can
talk about right now that they can expect anything stand
out to you.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
Yes, I think you'll see a very disciplined product on
the field. I think you'll see a lot of great
plays being made by a lot of great players on
the field, Each and every one of the guys are
brought into what Lou's bringing to the table. You know,
this thing goes as the players go and coaches coach
players player. I think Lou is a great coach and
(51:55):
he's been doing a great job for us so far,
and we're thankful for what to have him here in Indy.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
Yeah, he has Taekwon Lewis coach camp joining us on
the Andy Moore Automotive Group plotline. Is this meaning is
this much of a change for you just individually speaking
and your responsibilities at all or does most of that
still remain the same.
Speaker 1 (52:14):
Goopins? Uh, Lou has a lot of a lot of
defenses to offer. I think sometimes we uh we we
learn new stuff everyday, new terminology, like I said, a
lot of different fronts. Uh. He's like a mass scientist
sometimes so some of his new some of his uh
(52:34):
I'm not say recycled information, but it's it's a new
language sometimes.
Speaker 3 (52:39):
Does it take a minute to get or because you've
done this basically all of your life now and learn
new things? Is is it just like secondhand nature to
you by.
Speaker 1 (52:47):
Now, well, believe it or not. I've been in the
same kind of defense all my license like Little League.
So some of the stuff we do is totally different
than me, and it's, uh, it's new. But I'm a
fast learner. I'm a very very smart guy. So I
just I learned multiple ways and I'm just picking it
(53:08):
up as as I go.
Speaker 3 (53:09):
I'm trying to picture Taekwon Lewis in one of his cars,
one of his rides with the playbook in hand, studying,
doing a little cramming for anything like that. That doesn't
take place. It just all kind of flows for you.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
Huh. Not much of Kramer, you know. I look at
it on the on the projective, I write it down,
I might look over it again, and it's like second nature.
It just comes with me sometimes.
Speaker 3 (53:35):
That's that Taekwon Lewis on the Andy Moore on about
a group hotline. How do you feel at this point
in your career right now? There's been a lot of
battles and when I think about you, when they said
that you're going to come on, Katy said, hey, Taekwan's
going to join you tomorrow. I think about the word perseverance.
What do you think about in thinking about your career
to this point with the Colts.
Speaker 1 (53:54):
Oh man, it's been great. Uh. You know, I've spent
some times when we're we have setbacks and stuff like that.
But you know, what good is the story if you
don't have anything to overcome. So, like you said, perseverance
is just great to have, especially in my corner, you know,
just to get through anything and everything that life has
(54:15):
brought my way.
Speaker 3 (54:16):
Has that been basically you in a nutshell going all
the way back to Tarboro, North Carolina on the day.
Has that been you persevering?
Speaker 1 (54:24):
Oh yeah, any and every chance I could get, you know, well,
they're good, bad, ugly and different. You know, I'm always grateful,
you know, any opportunity I get to do anything in life,
I just try to like take make the most of it.
Speaker 3 (54:37):
Tarboro, North Carolina, celebrated a community Day not too long ago,
and you are the emphasis of that. I come from
a very small town, even smaller than that in southern Indiana,
and I know what it means to go and come
from a small community and to give back and to
be a part of that because you're heart and your
soul never leaves. You may be here, but it never
(54:57):
leaves where you grow up. Like that, how special of
a moment was that for you this summer?
Speaker 1 (55:04):
Oh, it was a great moment just to go back
and see everybody from my youth and like everybody from
the hometown that's played a part in helping me become
the Takeewon Lewis I am today. You know, it was
just great just to give back and give everybody opportunity
just to see like what life has to offer as
far as like outside of Tarboro, and you know, just
(55:26):
help make your community a better place as well.
Speaker 3 (55:28):
On the banks of the tar River. I believe around
Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and that metropolitan area is Tarboro,
North Carolina. I did look this up. You there are
a lot of athletic dudes, a lot of notables coming
from your area.
Speaker 1 (55:45):
Holy crap, Yes, sir, A lot of a lot of
athletes coming out of Tarboro.
Speaker 3 (55:50):
Yeah. And you know what, what's not a.
Speaker 1 (55:51):
Lot of winning. A lot of winning football and a
lot of winning everything there, you know, so very athletic.
Speaker 3 (55:58):
Yeah, and I'm thinking, Taekwon, I'm looking this and it's
not just in football. It's it's football, it's it's baseball.
Mike Caldwell was a former Major league pitcher from there.
It's basketball. I just watched Montrez Harrold play in the
TBT over the weekend. Yeah, for his former Louisville team.
Trent Tucker, who played it at Minnesota, was a noted
three point shooter. I think for the Knicks, for the
(56:19):
most part, people around you will remember him. It's like
a who's who of athletes and stars from your community.
Speaker 1 (56:25):
It is. It's a lot of gray athletes over there
in Tallborough, man, me, myself, Todd Gurly to Kobe Coolefield,
Sean Jon, Donald Frank. It's a lot Kelvin Bryant.
Speaker 3 (56:37):
Yeah, Calvin Bryant, I should mention him too, Yeah, And
I should mention Couter from Dukes of Hazzard. I think
it's also from your community.
Speaker 1 (56:45):
A lot of people, man, A lot of a lot
going on in small town.
Speaker 3 (56:49):
Yeah, it's a Taekwon Lewis with us. And we'll transition
from Cooter who worked on cars famously on Dukes of Hazzard,
of the television show Ben Jones, the actor to you.
I have been told by a mutual acquaintance that you
are a big time car dude. Is this true?
Speaker 1 (57:04):
Yes, sir, I am. I've been a car enthusiasm my
entire life, I think.
Speaker 3 (57:08):
All right, so what is what is what would be
among your favorites? You can go with a singular favorite,
plural favorites. What do you what do you like the most?
Speaker 1 (57:19):
Uh? Right now, I'll say my favorite car to drive
is a Posture.
Speaker 3 (57:26):
Yes, this is this is exactly the car that it
was described to me right here. But but my yeah,
but but Michelle, Michelle has one that is white.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
Yes, yes, I think that's a that's a that's the
best car to drive. I think it's the ultimate driving
scene if you like going in and out, occurs down
and around.
Speaker 13 (57:48):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (57:49):
But my favorite car it's up in the air. Man,
I've built the truck seventy one C ten let's see.
I also I also like the Ford Galaxy. But I
think the next project would definitely be sixty seven cooler, Uh,
(58:09):
the XR seven. So that's that's probably one of my favorites.
Does man, we move on to a Mustang?
Speaker 3 (58:17):
Is your galaxy? In honor of the patrol Car and
Andy Griffiths show from Maybury, North Malahaye.
Speaker 1 (58:24):
Not my grandfather's.
Speaker 3 (58:28):
Now is it? Does it got hydraulics in it? Do
you put? Do you go all the way with.
Speaker 1 (58:33):
No, it's this all chrome, nice nice car. Fully start.
I want to get a new carburetor for it. That's
about it.
Speaker 3 (58:40):
I love this man. This is a hell of a conversation.
It's funny. I didn't I didn't know this about you,
and I think this would be there's a sweeps week
local TV wise, the sweeps week, I think, uh promo
segment where this written all over it probably giving somebody
some insight right here right.
Speaker 1 (59:00):
Never know.
Speaker 3 (59:01):
I will tell you this in closing. I know you're
learning a lot again, a new system and all that
with lou Anarumo out at Colts Camp right now. But
I also my first car was a Porsche. True story,
Oh wow, it was were you nineteen seventy four? I'm
fifty five. I was a class of eighty eight, but
I had a nineteen seventy four Porsche nine fourteen. It
(59:22):
was a two seater mid engine. So what it was, taekwon.
It was a German seventies version of the Pontiac Fierro.
Is what it was. This is kind of what it was.
A German Fierro. If you remember the Fierro from the
nineteen eighties Pontiac made. It was a mid engine. It
was awesome. I thought it was like magnum p I
driving around in it, right, But where we're from, because
(59:46):
we grew up in really small towns, we drove around
before we got our license. And I did that too,
and I'm assuming you probably did as well. I just
I wrecked that. I ten canned the Porsche nine fourteen. Yeah, well,
don't ever be in an accident, and sure as he'll
never be in an accident in a portion of nine
(01:00:07):
fourteen nineteen seventy four mid engine German Fierro because it
was zero fun right there. But I can always say
eight man, I I should have gone to the junkyard
and ripped the logo and the emblem off the front.
I will never forgive myself, even after I record, for
not doing that because that was what was important. It
(01:00:28):
was the emblem on the front which was most important
to me. So yeah, true story, U Porsche brothers right here, Taekwon,
Lewis and JMV. Just having a car conversation on the
Anymore Automotive Group pole line. Hey, we'll do this again soon.
Stay healthy, keep after it, continue to persevere. Always a
great conversation. Fantastic having you on the show and we'll
(01:00:51):
see you when we get up there for a night
practice or two.
Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
Okay, yes, I appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
You got it, Taekwon, thank you very much. That is
Taekwon Lewis on the end. More Automotive Group potline. We
are Porsche Bros. Not quite is stratospherically better than mine? Man,
mine was awesome, awesome. I thought I was like magnum
(01:01:16):
Pi without the mustache. You're rolling around. I'm fifteen before
I get my license, and I'm not saying anything out
of school. I think we all did that in the
country back in the day, cruising around. You ever seen
the video to Tears for Fears and Everybody Wants to
Rule the World. I think it's rolling Oars the Ball
(01:01:37):
and Kurt Smith. I think Oars the Ball is like
rolling around maybe Kurt Smith rolling around in a top
with a top down and a two seat car in
that video the entirety of the time. That's kind of
what I thought. I'd play songs for the Big Chair
and kind of crank it up Tears for Fears and
drive around because this was a target top convertible and unfortunately,
(01:01:59):
much like camp Fry did in Ferris Beeler's day off.
I killed the car, very unfortunate, the portion nine fourteen
mid engine and what we described as the German fuerrero.
And let me tell you this, the hill Billies back
at Eastern Green when they did shop class went out
to it and couldn't figure out where the hell the
(01:02:20):
engine was. It was classic stuff right there, back in
nineteen eighty five eighty six. So it is. Taekwon lewis
always a good conversation car guy, celebrated in his hometown
which we absolutely love to see that and a member
of the Colts Defense. Again, his perseverance is something that
certainly should be discussed, especially at the outset of this season.
(01:02:44):
Quick break, well come back, We're live at Taylor's Pub.
I would love to see you, Brent Holverson rejoins. On
the other side, it is a big day for us
on this tavern tour. Stop heaven Hild Distillery just a
little bit, shall I say, east of Ditch on eighty
sixth Street, Taylor's Pub, Green Brier. We would love to
(01:03:04):
see you. Stuff to give away in more on the inbound.
This is ninety three to five and one oh seven
five the Fan.
Speaker 7 (01:03:10):
The ride with JMV. It takes him a second to
get on the stool because he's under five feet tall
ninety three five and one oh seven five the fan.
Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
At the end of the day, you know, Coach lou
is a great coach, you know, a great guy. You know,
great teacher, someone who you know, we spend a lot
of time together, have a lot of conversations, and you know,
it's just you know, at the end of the day,
you know, defensive defense. You know, terminology is different. You know,
philosophy might be a little different. So just learning where
he's coming from in Raymen readsons, why he does things,
and you know, trying to play it in his scheme
(01:03:42):
as best as I can. A lot of things that
you know we might not have done last year, you know,
still incorporating some things, but you know, at the end
of the day, it's exciting to go and you know,
learning new defense and be a part of something great.
Speaker 3 (01:03:54):
Hey back at Taylor's pub back to back days, right,
But Taekwon Lewis and Nick Krawn defensively, and I think
that it's appropriate considering the most massive, certainly of the
coaching changes or changes in general this offseason was that
of Gus Bradley to lou Anarumo as the defensive coordinator
(01:04:16):
and the difference in philosophies and the direction that they're
going in all of that. Yeah, past two days Nick
Cross at safety and we also had that conversation just
now with Taekwon Lewis. The Defensive Lineman Podcast with each
one O seven five thefan dot Com. Taylor's Pub eighty
sixth Street, just a little east of Ditch Road, Greenbriers
(01:04:39):
our location. Now we are doing a kind of pick
em right Brent as far as august A tavern tour
stop right now. I've got more on my social media
account on X you have more over there.
Speaker 11 (01:04:53):
Too, Nothing yet, No, I've got what we've got so far.
We got about seven of them now, seven of them? Yeah, okay,
so we awesome. We'll do that a little bit later on.
I got some more of those coming up as well.
But Chelsea, you got to get Chelsea on the board here. Chelsea,
welcome back.
Speaker 3 (01:05:08):
How are you?
Speaker 14 (01:05:08):
Thank you good? How are you going good?
Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
Good?
Speaker 11 (01:05:10):
Thank you for having us as good for us to
be here at the Greenbriar location.
Speaker 3 (01:05:13):
Yeah, I'll tell you what. Hold tight right there, Nathaniel,
we owe everybody a NASCAR update right now too, don't we,
Brother Jesus.
Speaker 7 (01:05:23):
He's the Bet three six five command center. Get your
race updates here all month long and make sure to
enter for your chance to win five hundred dollars by
predicting the winner of this year's race. On July twenty seven,
two to one seven five fan dot com to winter. Now,
here's your twenty twenty five race upding, prought you by
Bet three six five by Nathaniel.
Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
We'll keep this tight. You just bring it directly back
to me. Of course, the breaking up four hundred coming
up on Sunday. You've got these support races really all
weekend long.
Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:05:54):
Lucaswoll Raceway is active with the truck Series at Finley
Series and IMS. The sprint cars are out at IMS,
I think later on tonight as well. So it is
a fun weekend of racing. And if you missed it
earlier this week, Joey Logano joined me on the show
about trying to track down his first out at IMS.
It is your Brickyard four hundred update today, Nathaniel. Thank
(01:06:19):
you very much. Chelsea rejoins us right now. Taylor's Pub,
Northwest side of Indianapolis in Greenbrier. Where were we? I'm sorry,
I wanted to make sure I got the NASCAR update
because it is a fast and a furious type of weekend.
Speaker 11 (01:06:32):
It really is nicely done, nicely done. But that we
were just having the honor of sitting next to Chelsea.
Thank you for having us and join us again. Yeah,
of course back here if this is our first time
here at the Greenbrier location, which is awesoming. Last time
we were at Taylor's two across the street, if you will,
and Taylor's Pub and Table up in Ingles, and we
look forward to doing a lot more stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
But Howard things, how are you? What's going on? What's new?
Speaker 15 (01:06:55):
It's been great. We've been crazy busy. We're doing all
kinds of stuff. I know, last time when we spoke,
we were getting ready to launch our door dash stuff.
We're live with all of that stuff now. That's been great.
So you don't even have to come here anymore to
have our food. You can have it brought to you,
but we would love for you to be here, right, yeah,
be here, but also you know, we'll bring it to
(01:07:15):
you too.
Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
That's a nice thing to offer.
Speaker 11 (01:07:16):
But is there something about being inside these four walls
right here, it's pretty special.
Speaker 15 (01:07:20):
Oh yeah, yeah, we uh this, I mean all of
us that work here. I feel like we were all
regulars here before we ended up here. So it's everybody's
you know, modern day cheers.
Speaker 11 (01:07:29):
So that's what it's all about. That's what the tavern
Toore is. It's that modern day cheers spot. So again,
thanks for having us.
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
One day.
Speaker 11 (01:07:36):
We're gonna get Kyle Davis up here though, and he's
gonna talk and I'm gonna get it's gonna make that
my priority next time.
Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
But we love having you up here.
Speaker 14 (01:07:44):
So yeah, if you want me to leave me not
to you.
Speaker 11 (01:07:45):
No, no, no, no, I'm just blown him a little
smoke back. They seemed smiling back there. But you know,
Chelsea walked in on me. I was using the women's bathroom.
Speaker 14 (01:07:53):
I saw nothing.
Speaker 3 (01:07:54):
Literally, I've heard that. Yeah, that's what she says. But
Kyle said, yeah, just go ahead and go in there.
And I went, okay, go in there, and I said, hey, Jeff,
you go to make sure that everybody knows I'm in here.
Of course, Jeff forgot you.
Speaker 15 (01:08:09):
Were about chucked in the corner. I thought that water
bottle was it should be.
Speaker 3 (01:08:13):
I mean it should be right here. And unfortunately, like
last night for arthrend to fire, I've got the small
bladder working.
Speaker 11 (01:08:20):
That's problematic. Well you you pulled that very nicely, very
next time.
Speaker 3 (01:08:27):
I'm just in there and there's Chelsea door walks. That's
gotta's you gotta you should have probably locked you got
to use that, especially going in the women's room combab.
We should have done. Hope, please put the seat down
to always. So hey, Chelsea, we got football season coming
up too, and I'm assuming at something you make your
picks with us as well.
Speaker 14 (01:08:45):
Oh yeah, I'm ready to win again.
Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
You got you got anybody mind this year?
Speaker 14 (01:08:52):
I don't know. I'm scared nervous.
Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
Why are we're scared?
Speaker 15 (01:08:56):
I saw some clips of training camp and it just
it always scares me.
Speaker 14 (01:09:01):
I know I'm wrong.
Speaker 3 (01:09:02):
For who's training camp? The Colts?
Speaker 9 (01:09:04):
Folts.
Speaker 3 (01:09:05):
Yeah, well you're going to be I don't even know
if anybody. You're going to be apprehensive about believing until
they give you the proof of life, for example, that
they can play, and that all starts with the quarterback position,
whether it's Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones. Until they show
something beyond. You know, these first two days of practice
and what you see, you know, in a coordinated practice setting,
(01:09:28):
then you're going to be a non believer.
Speaker 15 (01:09:30):
I think it was April that we were talking. I said, well,
it looks like defense. You know, offense sales tickets, defense
wins championships, So yeah, it's got to go defense route
this year.
Speaker 3 (01:09:39):
I think it's interesting the direction that they're going because
there's so much more of an emphasis. I talked to
Nick Cross yesterday with lou An Romo, it is more
about what you're doing too in the secondary. I mean, clearly,
you always need quarterback pressure and Leatu Latu is a
guy that you would like to see provide that in
your number two. And you know Quidty pay to a
degree to be able to step up. I mentioned Taekwon
(01:10:00):
who just joined us. You know, get some up the
middle type of rushing. But it's that secondary that has
been the concentration and really the reason why that Cincinnati
was really good back when their defense was really good,
and then you lose a guy like Jesse Bates he
went to Atlanta and you know, things in the secondary
fell apart, and lou Anna remote defense with the Bengals
(01:10:21):
fell apart, So there's a lot to prove. But you
saw all the focus of the Colts. They go with
ward and buying them and free agency in a fashion
in which they've not done spending a lot of money.
So that for focus clearly with Ana Remo's defense has
been on that secondary guys.
Speaker 11 (01:10:36):
Yeah, and I think what you just said is spot
on too, right, Like offense sales, tickets, defense, wins championships,
we've got to put we've got to put it all together, right.
But you're you're spot on. That's very well said. That
should be a shirt. By the way, Chelsea's really good
what you got on.
Speaker 3 (01:10:50):
I know, I can't wait.
Speaker 11 (01:10:51):
I can't wait to have her do some guests picking
with us, hopefully kept coming on a Larsening lock show.
Speaker 3 (01:10:56):
So what's going on here? At? Is it the same
this Taylor's pub to the one that's just down the road.
Speaker 15 (01:11:01):
I feel like with how close they are, they're wildly different.
Taylors two. It's always busy, dinner crowd stuff like that.
We get a good industry crowd being closer to Keystone.
This location, this was the one that made me fall
in love with Taylor's it's the late night, it's the
you know, I mean, I've met some of my best
friends here and it's you know, sitting on barstools.
Speaker 14 (01:11:20):
Sure, this one's They're all unique in their.
Speaker 15 (01:11:23):
Own way, but this one was always I mean, this
is the one that made me fall in love with Taylors.
Speaker 3 (01:11:27):
So that's awesome. They'll get Kyle's over there watching right
there with the under the watch for I have what
I get done with this is.
Speaker 11 (01:11:36):
Chelsea right there, ran So Chelsea, what is what year
did this Taylor's open up?
Speaker 14 (01:11:41):
Nineteen ninety five.
Speaker 3 (01:11:42):
Nineteen ninety five. See that's it right there.
Speaker 11 (01:11:44):
We're talking thirty years right, That's that's true tavern tour
material style right theah, that's awesome.
Speaker 14 (01:11:49):
And then Taylor's two ninety seven.
Speaker 11 (01:11:52):
Ninety seven, Okay, all right, well that's awesome. And then
the most recent.
Speaker 15 (01:11:56):
Thelors this big ye No, Taylor's Bar and Table out
towards Pendleton. That's a family friendly restaurant. Incredible pizza out there,
you've got to try it off. Food outstanding everywhere.
Speaker 3 (01:12:06):
Yes.
Speaker 15 (01:12:06):
Now we've got Ruth's Cafe too, so we've got your
your late night spirits. And then we've got your hangover
here the next morning.
Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
Look at that adding on to the franchise.
Speaker 15 (01:12:15):
And everything's on door dash and we're doing catering. Now
we've tapped into all kinds of events. We're doing weddings,
we're doing car shows. It's lots of fun.
Speaker 11 (01:12:24):
So seven days a week, yep, every day, any any
hour differences.
Speaker 15 (01:12:28):
I mean, the Pendleton location closes a little bit earlier
than these two, but Norah and Greenbrier are both open
un till two o'clock in the morning.
Speaker 3 (01:12:34):
So that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (01:12:36):
Guys, I have a question for you, and we were
talking about the Colts and their quarterback situation. Do you
think that you look at the supporting cast, whether it's
you know, obviously Jonathan Taylor, but you look at the
wide receivers and you look at Tyler Warren coming in
as a rookie at tight end, do they have enough
around any quarterback where that quarterback should be able to
(01:12:57):
if you're competent enough lead this team considering the AFC
South to at least challenge for a title, in considering Houston, Houston,
what they've lost. We talked to their play by playboys,
Mark Vanderbilt yesterday. You know, Tennessee reloading Jacksonville kind of hoping.
Jacksonville's got a couple of definable skill position players and
(01:13:19):
Travis Hunter they added, And you know, I already had
Brian Thomas down there as well, helping Trevor Lawrence with
with Cohen, as you know, is a lot better than
what he has been you know so far. Quarterback wise,
kind of up and down there. You think they have
enough supporting cast members offensively, if a quarterback can give
them the competent play that they can be competitive.
Speaker 15 (01:13:37):
I think we've got all the right tools in the toolbox.
It's just a matter of do we know how to
use them. Clinton said this, By the way, I can't
take credit for this, but it's one of the funniest
things I've ever heard. He told someone one day, you're
a hell of a screwdriver, but I needed a hammer.
Speaker 14 (01:13:51):
Yeah, And that's been like my favorite day.
Speaker 15 (01:13:53):
It's applicable to everything. But I mean, I feel like
everybody's made moves. It's a matter of were they there
moves for your system? Were they the right moves for
that person? I mean, you look get somebody like Daniel Jones,
maybe he just wasn't right for the giant system. Who knows,
maybe he comes here and he's Danny Dimes.
Speaker 14 (01:14:10):
Again, we don't know. Time will tell, but.
Speaker 11 (01:14:12):
You know, it'd be a great comeback player of the
Year story, you know. So I love that adage if
that's a thing to happen, but.
Speaker 3 (01:14:19):
It would be more the comeback player of the UF they
played well, Richardson or Daniel Jones. I don't think come
back strong. Let the Pacers have I'm sorry, the Pacers
have this stuff figured out.
Speaker 15 (01:14:32):
Yeah, yeah, that's if the Colts can do what the
Pacers said this last season worse it.
Speaker 11 (01:14:37):
So I would say Daniel Jones just for the fact
of what he you know, I've always heard this about him.
He looks so great in camp. He looks so great
that until it's game day.
Speaker 3 (01:14:47):
Yeah, but it's not playing to get people that wanted
the correct correct So it's a whole different level. Right.
Speaker 11 (01:14:52):
But again, that Giant squad, they've been in disarray for
many years, right, So he's got a new arsenal that
he's playing with. Do you hope a Pittman steps up
and the downs and you know, do they have the
They don't.
Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
We don't have that true number one guy.
Speaker 1 (01:15:07):
You know.
Speaker 11 (01:15:07):
I mean, Pittman should be that guy, but he just
he hasn't for whatever reason. Thank you, dear, I appreciate it. Yeah,
so it's been you know, it's it's gonna be interesting
to see. But I think you've got a new Like
you said, you've got you got them tools around you.
It's gonna who's he connecting with. Is he getting out
there and doing some side throws? You know, that's that's
a key. You've got to get comfortable with what's around
you right now.
Speaker 3 (01:15:27):
So I guess where I was getting at is I
think their supporting cast is good enough with a company
quarterback for them to be good enough for the South.
But I think it's just it always falls upon give
you a great example. I think the offensive line is
especially at center and right guard. I have belief in them,
but we shall see. I think that's more of a
(01:15:48):
question mark than what and how you should interpret the
wide receiver position, because I think that group, if the
ball is thrown to them, other than we'll have to
figure out Eddie Mitchell being able to catch it. But
if it's thrown to them, I trust that group if
it's thrown in their general vicinity, which has been clear
that hasn't happened to a level in which they could
(01:16:09):
be challenging within the division. Uh for at least since
Gardner Minshew. Going back to Minshew's opportunity he had a
couple of years ago, it's.
Speaker 11 (01:16:17):
Been Wow, I'm excited to see what Tyler Warren is
gonna bring. You know, I think that's going to be
a true addition right there. You know, you get him
in again, young. It's gonna take some time, but that
could be a big piece to the puzzle right there.
Speaker 15 (01:16:29):
I wanted to text you that night, you know, we
were sitting there talking to you Roy, like who do
you know?
Speaker 14 (01:16:33):
And I said, I want Tyler Warren.
Speaker 15 (01:16:34):
We're all like, no way, he goes that, texting each
other at o'clock at night.
Speaker 14 (01:16:40):
Going no freaking away.
Speaker 3 (01:16:41):
Yeah, the easiest election that Chris Ballard could ever marry
right there. I mean, you can't bink that up, can you?
You wouldn't think so? No, No, I mean I mean
that's something too.
Speaker 15 (01:16:51):
I think, you know, we got spoiled with Andrew wuck
and it's it's easy to say, like, oh, what could
have been in all of that stuff? But since then,
like it's been a revolving door, right, So it's like
we haven't had the chance to have a franchise quarterback
since then, so it's like, you know, it's kind of
the same thing of if you have a new boss
every other week, it's like, all right, well who's running
the show now, you know, So hopefully we pick somebody
(01:17:13):
and roll with it.
Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
All right, Chelsea is here from Taylor's Pub. Give the
stats for where we are right now in Greenbrier to
Westfield Boulevard to Taylor's Pub and Table and Angles too.
Speaker 15 (01:17:26):
We've got a little bit of everything, and it's whatever
you want really, but yeah, this one, I mean great
food at both places that the menu is relatively the
same from those three places. We're doing the breakfast brunch
thing over at Ruth's Cafe.
Speaker 14 (01:17:40):
Like I said, we.
Speaker 15 (01:17:40):
Just started tapping into catering and events and we're doing
weddings now and all kinds of stuff. So we've got
a private party room out at Bar and Table. We've
got pool rooms at both of these two places, and
got dart boards at this location. That's something that's always
set us aside from the NeuRA location. But yeah, we've
got a little bit of something for everybody great patios
(01:18:02):
at both places. It's a little hot today, but most
of the time it's it's nice to sit out there
and a bunch of TVs.
Speaker 3 (01:18:08):
Uh.
Speaker 15 (01:18:09):
Rolling into the season, we've got NFL package right now,
we've got MLBX trainings, all that stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:18:15):
So how'd you guys do for the Pacer Playoff?
Speaker 14 (01:18:17):
I mean it was crazy.
Speaker 15 (01:18:18):
Every location it was you know, the bar and table
one closes a little early, we were staying open late
for it.
Speaker 14 (01:18:23):
I mean, it was it was great.
Speaker 3 (01:18:24):
It was Uh, it's amazing what winning can do at
that level.
Speaker 15 (01:18:27):
I mean, I'm Mike still emotional about it, but it's like, uh,
it made everybody excited about sports again.
Speaker 3 (01:18:34):
So and for all the right reasons with that team,
because that's what it was. We're sold around here so
much on the whole team concept, and that's one hundred
percent what it was. So you you appreciate it. I
think that along with that effort even.
Speaker 11 (01:18:47):
More well, just even seeing a Tuesday night right just
rocking back to the gills, I mean that was that
was the case.
Speaker 15 (01:18:53):
Strangers are hugging each other, everybody is high five and
it's great. Like everybody wants to be a part of
something bigger than them, you know, And that's what it was.
Speaker 14 (01:19:00):
It was being in here.
Speaker 15 (01:19:01):
It was like you were watching the game with fifty
of your family members and.
Speaker 3 (01:19:04):
Then they gave you drama too. Yeah, they gave you
unbelievable drama in so many moments. As you bring up
Tyrese Halliburton too. It just was was never ending. It
was the most feel good until the seven minute mark
of the first quarter of game number seven, and then
the feel good unfortunately took a turn.
Speaker 15 (01:19:23):
So that was the fun part too, is that if
it wasn't that person, yeah, it was next in.
Speaker 3 (01:19:28):
Line, right, So it is Chelsea. Thank you, yes, thank
you for having us.
Speaker 14 (01:19:32):
Always talking to you guys.
Speaker 3 (01:19:33):
Taylor's Pub. Look at Ross. Look at the Holster JMV
take over shirt on. That's the Fat JAMV right there,
picture t shirt which is good and the Hulkster headband
rocking right there. Hulk Cocin passed away at the age
of seventy one earlier today.
Speaker 11 (01:19:51):
Brent, I know, very sad and like we talked about,
I mean, just an icon from the eighties.
Speaker 3 (01:19:55):
It was his greatest rivalry. Now I'm not nerded on
Andre the Giant, probably the it had to be how
many different in the world. Yeah, I saidwear to you,
and there's I doubt if there's zero way this would
fly today. I think. Did I see him at the
Saturday Night main event in nineteen eighty five wrestle Adorable
Adrian Adonnas? Oh yeah, I believe that. I know that
(01:20:18):
Adrian Adonnas was there, But I I for some I
have this memory of Hull Cogan wrestling.
Speaker 11 (01:20:24):
I just remember Hull Cogan actually body slamming Andrea the
giant picking that.
Speaker 3 (01:20:28):
He did there was a bit of a struggle, but
he did it. I mean, can you imagine picking up
five hundred pounds? I mean he did it up there
or whatever. You remember the film that he was in.
I mentioned Thunderlips and Rocky three. Thunder Lips and Rocky three,
But he also had his own feature film, I want
to say, in nineteen eighty nine that was along the
same lines as the flop that What's his Vanilla Ice
(01:20:53):
was in? Remember Vanilla Ice is one and only film.
Hull Cogan's was called No Holds Barred, No Holds Barred,
and it was a flopper right there. It's weird. It
was like it was he had those those two years
you had. I mentioned the the Vanilla Iyes movie. I
(01:21:13):
think it was called Cool as Ice and you had
No Holes Barred with Hull Cogan and the Andrew Dice
Clay film called The Ford Fairlane was also everybody was
taking advantage of all their popularity, and they were all
pretty not for everybody, for everybody right there No holes
Bard Hule Cogan was seventy one. Let's take a quick break,
(01:21:36):
Will Come Back, Taylor's Pop Greenbrier, Quick Break, We're with You,
Top of the Hour, Mike Chapel and more to come,
Do Not Go Anywhere, It's Naughty three to five, one
oh seven five.
Speaker 7 (01:21:44):
The Fan, The Ride with JMV.
Speaker 1 (01:21:47):
Fat, Drunk and Stupid, There's No Way to go through Life.
Speaker 7 (01:21:49):
Stung ninety three five and one oh seven five The Fan, Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:21:53):
It's been great. Man. Louis very hands on, uh, very
very very starring into the detail. So he's very h
I guess he has a big playbook. Let's say that Lou.
He has a lot of things to offer to the defense,
gets a lot of guys in great positions to be successful.
Speaker 3 (01:22:13):
Tackwi Lewis on the show a little bit earlier, podcast
at one O seven five thefan dot com Taylor's pub Greenbrier.
That location eighty six and just east of Ditch is
a location it is so good to see a good friend.
If I mentioned our good friend's name because he's at
a competing station. Now you know I met Taylor last night?
(01:22:33):
Did you know that I met Taylor Taylor? And by
the way, I was at Earth Wind and Fire last night,
I met the awesome Taylor who I believe Taylor's opposite
of me right now, probably voice tracked, but opposite of
me right now, not maybe not voice tracked, but Shawn
Smith as well as somebody else that I met. I
did not know I was sitting next to them until
(01:22:54):
the end of the show last night, but it was
a fantastic time. I saw and talked two the awesome
Dave Dugan last night as well. You remember what show
Dave Dugan here locally used to host every Sunday morning.
Do you remember on the radio Dave Dugan had something
(01:23:19):
back when the X wasn't what it is now. One
O three point three X one O three had a
show on Sunday morning called what That. Dave Dugan was
the host. Anyway, you guys remember the Hangover Cafe. The
Hangover Cafe, you know, and the X back then was
(01:23:39):
all about you know, new rock alternative. Shout out to
Scott jamisoning the track, Dude malcol Young for being a
part of that greatness back then, and then Nigel who's
across the hall downtown right now with Jason Hammer on
ninety three WYBC. But the Hangover Cafe, Dave Dugan would
play a lot of early nineties and eighties alternative of
(01:24:00):
slash new wave. So you heard the Sugar Cubes or
you heard the Pixies or ten Thousand Maniacs and things
like that as a part of the Hangover Cafe. Dave
Dugan's also been a noted voice talent around here for
decades and a comedian. Really good to see him last night.
(01:24:20):
Dave Dugan, formerly of the Hangover Cafe that goes Really
it's like twenty plus years back in the day, right.
Speaker 11 (01:24:27):
Your memory always seems to just just blow my mind, man.
Speaker 3 (01:24:30):
And people ask me this all the time. They you
know you've been here, have you ever tried to go
anyplace else? And I remind them, well, A, I'm not
good enough to go anyplace else. B This is always
where I wanted to be. Clayton Anderson has a song
called right where I Belong, and I am right where
I belong and.
Speaker 11 (01:24:51):
Where I want to be right here, and that specially though,
when you have that and you feel it to me,
I'm the same way with Ran. I mean, definitely a
lot of different great places out there, but there's somebody
said about the who's your hospitality and what we have
around us? So speaking of Clayton Anderson's place, right it
is Clayton Anderson. We had the pleasure to stop by
the pre pre pre opening.
Speaker 3 (01:25:10):
Trying to figure out whether or not I was having fun.
Speaker 11 (01:25:12):
Yeah, that was a that was I was having fun.
I tell you that place is going to be pretty spectacular,
so that'll be be a fun spot to talk about
down the road.
Speaker 3 (01:25:21):
Well, we love Steve, Yes, Steve's a great guy. Steve's
a great guy, and we know Clayton is gonna going
to get that done as well. It's in the former
hard Rock Cafe downtown and we did what I guess
it was kind of a soft opening. Yeah it was.
Speaker 11 (01:25:34):
Yeah, it was kind of a double secret probation opening,
if you will. So it was I think it was
what one hundred and fifty of us when we laughed there,
I mean it was they were capacity and and uh,
I know you stuck around for.
Speaker 3 (01:25:43):
A little while long. Yeah, now you shout out to
your call. By the way, Hey, you know my mom
not reaching out for you. It's a good time. We
got some more. We have a tavern tour stop for
the month of August that is now open, so we
are taking recommendations about where we should go. Do we
(01:26:04):
have any new ones over there? Uh? Not that I've
seen come in. I know you've got some study. I
have some new ones. We'll do that. Coming up. On
the other side, Brent and I rejoin Mike Chapel day
two of Colt's camp practice. We'll get to that and
all the details with Mike on the other side to
Taylor's Pub northwest side eighty six Greenbrier is a location
east of Ditch Road. We would love to see you.
(01:26:27):
Do not go anywhere. It's ninety three to five and
one oh seven five Fan.
Speaker 6 (01:26:32):
The ride with JMV. Nacho's the Lemonheads, my Dad's vote.
You won't don't down.
Speaker 7 (01:26:38):
Coming ninety three five and one oh seven five the fan.
Speaker 10 (01:26:42):
Oh absolutely, yes, yes, I mean, obviously we love it here,
but would love to get things done. But I'm not
involved in this obviously you have, you have an agent
that takes care of this. From my understanders, they aren't
on the same page about things. So you say not
on the same page as I've read. No, not exactly
(01:27:03):
the same page right now. So but I mean, as
I said, for me, as a football player, I'm I'm
preparing for the season because that's what matters.
Speaker 16 (01:27:09):
Bernard Ryman, Colts Left Tackle with Jake a little bit
earlier on negotiations. Going on about an extension podcast of
the Jay's conversation with the Colts Left Tackle one oh
seven five the fan dot Com, Bernard checked out, I'm
sorry Taekwon Lewis with me a little bit earlier.
Speaker 3 (01:27:28):
That is feels so good by the late great flugelhorn
trumpeter and composer Chuck Mangioni that died earlier today at
the age of eighty four. Brent, do you recognize that site?
Did it feels so good? Yeah? And it does. It's
a feel good song plastic rock now with that Cuddy
(01:27:50):
going feel so good right there. So we'll roll that
on the JMV takeover some Ozzie songs on the JMV Takeover.
Hul Cogan passed away today at the age of seventy one,
and I'm sure we'll play I'm a Real American by
Rick Darringer in his honor. And Malcolm Jamal Warner passed
(01:28:11):
away earlier this week in a drowning accident off the
coast of Costa Rica and the Caribbean. And I think
he was my age. I think fifty five, maybe fifty
four or fifty five, the longtime cast member, most notably
of the Cosby Show back in the day, right there,
So Chuck MANGIONI the latest a little bit earlier today,
(01:28:34):
we're at Taylor's Pub.
Speaker 11 (01:28:35):
We're in Greenbrier, Brent Harvest and it's a tavern tour
stop it is, and again a great turnout. Look at
this crowd. They love us all for coming out here.
Love We're still going too. There's nothing better John than
come out here, get us, sit back with you, have
some great cocktails, great conversation, see some great friends, and
at a great location like Taylor's Pub here in the
Greenbrier location. We are here for another hour plus, so yes,
(01:28:56):
come on out. We still got some cocktails to sample
up and we're going to find a month of August
tavern tour stop. According to you guys, that's right coming
up in just a bit too. By the way, it
was Brian that just asked me this. The conversation got
cut off here.
Speaker 3 (01:29:08):
But the name of Clayton Anderson's Bar downtown is what
his hanky talk is called Clayton's Country Bar, Clayton's Country Bares.
And they're going to do one in broad Ripple as well,
or they are absolutely and they have the old hard
Rock Cafe. Is the location of Clayton's Country Bar with
Clayton Anderson. That is the answer, Bryan to that question.
(01:29:32):
It is Brett. It is John and On Andy Moore
Automotive Group Potline from CBS four. In Fox fifty nine,
it is Mike Chappell. You probably heard the intro right
there with Jake's conversation earlier today with Bernard Ryman negotiation
tactics that obviously the Colts are going to realize what
they have, what is necessary, the value of a left tackle,
(01:29:54):
and at some point a deal is going to get done.
Speaker 13 (01:29:56):
Right, Yeah, And they've got six seven, eight major players
whose contracts are up and the cross Alec Pearce, Uh,
you get Daniel Jones, quid he pay in there? And
Ryman It to me is at the top of the list.
Speaker 2 (01:30:14):
You know.
Speaker 13 (01:30:15):
I sort of think that that ownership has taking a
wait and see approach on a lot of these guys
to see where these guys are at the end of
the season team wise. Is it headed in the right direction?
Do they need to make major change? Having said that
(01:30:36):
you need a left tackle, I could argue that maybe
if there's a change, the new guys wouldn't value Alec
Pierce that high, or or Quitty pay or whatever. And
I value Alec Pierce a lot, But I don't care
who is running this team. You need a left tackle,
and Bernie's gonna get paid. It's going to be I think,
(01:31:00):
and looked at the top eleven left tackles average twenty million,
and there's a four or five right tackles making Nazal
He's gonna get it. It's just coming to something, to
some agreement. Maybe it's early in the prizes. I don't know.
Chris Ballard never discusses contracts because that's just not part
(01:31:22):
of who he is, and I understand that generally deadlines,
spur action. I don't know what the deadline is a Bernie.
He's not gonna hold out. He's not gonna leave camp
as he knows. He's under contract this year. All I
know is that if he has another good year, it's
(01:31:45):
not gonna get cheaper to sign him. So but again,
he will. There's no reason to give a hometown discount there.
Anyone who does that in any pro league is getting
bad advice. He'll get paid. I think he gets done here.
Whether it gets done before the season starts, I don't know.
(01:32:06):
The fact our talking is encouraging, it really is.
Speaker 1 (01:32:11):
So.
Speaker 13 (01:32:13):
And again, this is a guy that's still growing into
the position. You know, he was late to play left
or to play tackle, and had that really bad start
in as a rookie, and he's gotten better every time
he's stepped on the field. They'll get Bernie done. I
just don't know when.
Speaker 3 (01:32:33):
All right, So, first two days of practice, what's your
understanding of what you've seen at the quarterback position, Mike.
Speaker 13 (01:32:41):
It's an open composition. They've he's taken sixteen snaps each
day with the ones and the twos. The first day,
Jones started the practice with the ones and then it
rotates to Richardson later, and today it was the other
way around, Richardson first. So they're gonna get the same
amount of reps for the most part, and and we're
(01:33:04):
out there charting them and their numbers aren't great, but
but it's two days in and you know, I I
and again I'm out there with with Joel Erickson and
Steven and James Boyd and we're all charting. He's and
looking and you know, that was a pretty good throw
and that was crappy, But that's what you do.
Speaker 1 (01:33:25):
That's what we do.
Speaker 13 (01:33:26):
And I maybe fans get tired of the daily charting
where they are, but that's that's all we've got to
do with these guys. So you know, I'm curious where
it goes. I think where it needs to go is
that Richardson needs to be the starter. And unless he
just has a bad training camp, which I don't think
he will, uh prating prainting camp in preseason games, I
(01:33:51):
think he needs to be the starter. If you boy
if you listen to Chris Ballard and even with Carly
in her interview on coach dot com, they need to
find out what they have with Anthony Richardson. Yes, the
short term is important because you got to win now.
But they've got to find at the end of at
(01:34:12):
the end of the season, they have to know what
they've got. They just have to. And if that means
starting him this year and he plays well and doesn't
get hurt, then you know.
Speaker 1 (01:34:24):
What you've got.
Speaker 13 (01:34:25):
But if it means he goes out there and starts
a couple of games and gets hurt, then you know
what you've got. You know you've got to find something
else next year. Boy, you've got to come out of
this year just knowing what you've got one way or
the other.
Speaker 3 (01:34:40):
I think I don't don't you. You figured it out
either way, though, don't you, Mike. I mean, if it
D Jones, let's so be it. I mean, it's just
to me. To me, I don't give a damn who
ends up stepping up as long as somebody does. Because
I can tell you this, I feel as if I
have a finger on the pulse of the interest level
of Colts fans, and I I remember a time when
(01:35:01):
we've had a group that is as less juiced about
the start of a season right now, And I don't disagree.
Speaker 13 (01:35:09):
And we were talking up at Westfield about how during
this off season, the entire offseason, there was no no
national buzz on the Colts. They're just I mean what
I mean, you're not going to draw. I think the
getting Mooney Ward and cam Binden was huge, huge, getting
(01:35:32):
Tyler Warren was huge, but you know, no one got
excited about that Daniel Jones and Richardson quarterback competition.
Speaker 1 (01:35:42):
They just didn't.
Speaker 13 (01:35:44):
And the only way you create that this team creates
buzz now is to win. That we've talked this schedule
is it is set up. It is set up for
these guys to get off through a good start and
put themselves into position to have have some kind of
a meaningful season. And if they don't think advantage that
(01:36:06):
early part of the season, I don't know where this goes.
Speaker 3 (01:36:10):
Uh.
Speaker 13 (01:36:10):
And you're right, whether whether it's Richardson or Jones, it's
got to happen. But at some at some level, you've
got to know what you've got with the third bit
or the fourth pick in the twenty three draft, because
you've got to know what direction this team takes.
Speaker 3 (01:36:28):
Going forward to my chapel of CBS four and Fox
fifty nine, he's on the Andy mooreon out of Motive
Group pole Line or taff A tour stop is at
Taylor's Pub, West eighty sixth Streets, a location in Greenbrier,
a little east we are of Ditch Road. So in
consecutive days I've had a Nick Cross and Taekwon Lewis,
(01:36:49):
and I've asked about the adjustments that are being made
from an old system to a new system. Defensively, they've
been very understated in their description. One have you seen
compared to what Gus Bradley liked to do to that
of what lou Anarumo was installing with his group.
Speaker 13 (01:37:07):
Right now, we're noticing tighter coverage in drills seven on seven,
eleven on eleven. We just had that. There have been
more pass breakups.
Speaker 1 (01:37:16):
Uh.
Speaker 13 (01:37:18):
Mooney Ward, he and Michael Pittman are gonna have some great,
great battles.
Speaker 1 (01:37:23):
Uh.
Speaker 13 (01:37:23):
There have been a couple of interceptions.
Speaker 1 (01:37:25):
Uh.
Speaker 13 (01:37:25):
Juji Brents had one today against against Richardson. And Justin
Walley is playing really well. He's I'll tell you the
first first day with the ones on defense and the
third round picks out there with the starters, which is
a good thing that they did. They talked this kid
up all off season, had a good spring, and now
(01:37:47):
he's out there. I like what I see, but but well,
we almost always like what we see maybe when you
get new things, uh so, until we see it in
action in preseason games with Baltimore and Green and whatever.
But but I I like I like the additions. I
guess Bradley's probably thinking, hey, I could have used some
(01:38:08):
of that. Uh But but they've got a top level
corner that they're gonna look the top receiver a lot
of times. They've got a safety who's who's been very
productive over four seasons. You get you get a new coordinator,
and then you draft the JT out of Ohio State
and and Walley, and you've got four pieces you didn't
(01:38:30):
have last year. And in you're expecting more out of
law To and Quittye pay has just been solid. You
need more. But so I really like it. I still
like the linebackers. I think they are so short at linebacker,
and I'm sure Chris Butler is getting tired of hearing
all of us talk about that, but it's a fact.
(01:38:52):
And and Ziah Franklin's not practicing right now. I'm sure
he'll practice the next week or so, but but I
like to I like the offense except for the quarterbacks
haven't been real consistent and that that sort of matters.
But again, I think this is a I think this
is this is a good roster. I really do. Defense
(01:39:14):
will be better the offensill they got good skill positions.
Offensive line's got a chance to be pretty good. Jonathan
Taylor is he's top three in the league.
Speaker 1 (01:39:24):
He just is.
Speaker 13 (01:39:25):
He's quality. But quarterbacks got to do their job. But
I like this team so far. But we're only two
days in and knock on wood, no injuries of notes,
So so far, so good.
Speaker 3 (01:39:39):
Mike Chapel of CBS four and Fox with you don
on the Anymore Automotive Group plotline before I'll let you
go here, you mentioned Juju Brentz a little bit earlier.
Does this new system, combined with you got to cross
your fingers his availability lead to I guess as I
would describe it, a new lease on life and existence
(01:39:59):
around here in the called secondary to you.
Speaker 13 (01:40:02):
Well, I wouldn't. I wouldn't say a new defense. I
mean the old has been injuries. It hasn't matter whether
what they've played, or when they played, or how they played. Uh,
Jujuus has had injury issues. He's as I mentioned, he's
missed more games than Anthony Richardson has uh and we
(01:40:25):
know how many games Anthony richards has missed, so maybe
they I hope the injuries are behind him. Yeah, besides
being a really good kid and a local kid. Well
he's what you want size wise and aggression in a corner.
And you add him to this mix with Ward and
and Moore and Womack and Jones, this is a pretty
(01:40:47):
good way is this is a this is a very
very deep corner group. Again, it had it hasn't been
the system. It's been staying healthy. Remember they tried to
get him out there for the last game last year
just get some snaps and he played like six plays
before he had was it a hamstring or groin? So hopefully,
(01:41:08):
hopefully he's he's running the game with our injuries and
he stays healthy because he can do wonders in his defense.
Speaker 3 (01:41:17):
Smike Chapel of CBS four and Fox fifty nine, he's
every Thursday right here on the Andy Moore Automotive Automotive
Group hotline. Hey, Mike, thank you very much for the time.
I appreciate that. Stay cool, up there. His mast is possible,
and I'll track I'll track you down when the weather
is cooler, okay.
Speaker 13 (01:41:33):
Thank yeah, Well like when it gets to be seventy
we'll see you like haha.
Speaker 3 (01:41:37):
Remember I'll be there for your brother. Thanks Mike.
Speaker 13 (01:41:40):
Well, be well, guys.
Speaker 3 (01:41:42):
Mike Chapel of CBS four and Fox fifty nine. Back
at Taylor's Pub, Greenbrier, West eighty sixth where just a
little east of Ditch Road, Brent Holferson rejoins of heaven
Hill Distillery. Hello Brent, Hello John. Look who we got

stuff away to them too.

Partnerships this summer and the discounts that the members get
at those two uh, those two venues, and we can
give away some stuff here after the break.
Speaker 3 (01:42:26):
And uh, I just heard from goings by the way,
the press, the pres says that the traffic is bad.
Oh yeah, that's what the press says.
Speaker 4 (01:42:35):
Well, you've been a good Triple A roadside.
Speaker 3 (01:42:37):
You don't want to There's no doubt about it, the press,
There's no doubt about that. So I do things going
with Triple A good?
Speaker 1 (01:42:47):
Really?
Speaker 4 (01:42:47):
Well, yeah, we're excited.
Speaker 17 (01:42:48):
It's it's kind of the heat of the summer for
us as far as you know, RUO off Music Center
and all their benefits up there for our members.
Speaker 4 (01:42:55):
You know, Victory Field with the Indians.
Speaker 3 (01:42:57):

Speaker 17 (01:43:02):
Yeah, the Triple A fast lane out there. I were
off Music Center, get up to twenty minutes early, so
you get in there and get your spot on the
lawn by the school. Part this year is we've kind
of got the VIP lounge there for our members. It's
almost kind of a cool unique VIP experience to coming
through the fast lane, go right into the lounge. You know,
fifteen to twenty five dollars you know to pay for
(01:43:24):
the fast lane free for a member fifteen to twenty
five dollars.
Speaker 4 (01:43:27):
Again to the tailgate lounge free for a member.
Speaker 17 (01:43:30):
So you do a couple of concerts, you're paying for
your membership just with those two events.
Speaker 3 (01:43:34):
That's outstanding too.
Speaker 1 (01:43:36):
You know what.
Speaker 11 (01:43:36):
I'm sitting here, I've been a member for thirty plus
years and I'm happy to hear about this too now,
So I'm gonna come out there.
Speaker 3 (01:43:42):
Yeah, pit crew, come on my driveway and change my tires.
That's even better, Yes, I did.
Speaker 11 (01:43:47):
I mean the service you guys provide my friend, and again,
we've talked about it several times. Like me, I've used
it over and over again and had like my most
recent one when we were down on the South Side.
Speaker 3 (01:43:55):
You came in and it just happened.
Speaker 1 (01:43:57):
It was a.
Speaker 11 (01:43:58):
Wintertime, cold, cold day, daughter flat tire going to school
and within twenty minutes, you guys are there.
Speaker 3 (01:44:05):
To save the day.
Speaker 11 (01:44:06):
So didn't you save me from getting out and have
to go through and fight and through it?
Speaker 1 (01:44:09):
You know.
Speaker 17 (01:44:09):
Yeah, we've got a lot of students going off to college,
you know, coming up here in the next month or so.

and as an associate. So if you're a member and
you want to add associate, we can.
Speaker 13 (01:44:24):
Do that for you.
Speaker 4 (01:44:24):
But you know, my daughter is over in.
Speaker 17 (01:44:26):
Ohio and college and soon I'll go up to up
to Wisconsin, and you know her having a membership makes
it a lot easier for me, knowing that if something
happens with her when she's two three hours away, just
you know, just.
Speaker 11 (01:44:36):
The safety and knowing it right, I mean, that's that's
a lot to a parent too, and and and it's
such a big thing for us. And my daughter's going
to college next year, so knowing that Triple A is
gonna be on her side makes me feel a little
bit better too.
Speaker 3 (01:44:47):
So absolutely, now you want to give away some stuff
