On March 31, 2023, Jeff Storey (former CHML program director and friend) called 911 for a Wellness Check on me after no one had heard from me for a week. This resulted in the police calling an ambulance and my admission to the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital E.R. Where doctors didn't expect me to survive the day. - Four days in ICU and another 8 days hospitalized I was released and facing surgery related to prostate cancer.
