“I found my passion in cosmetic dermatology because I found it so incredibly empowering when you change the way someone feels about how they look, how much more confident they can be in every other aspect of their life. I'm in a position in my career where it's not just about building my own business. I'm really trying to push the cosmetic dermatology field forward with new techniques, new products, and new equipment.”
Dr. Chiu is a Board-Certified Cosmetic Dermatologist and the Founder of The Derm Institute. She loves being able to make a difference in how her patients feel about their skin and appearance. She obtained her Bachelors of Science, with honors, from UC Berkeley, and her Medical Degree from Stanford University. She completed her Dermatology residency at Emory University and is currently on the Dermatology staff of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
