Hello, and welcome to the thirdand the don Football Show. I'm Jill
with me Cecil as always, hereto recap Week ten of the NFL season
and preview week eleven. First ofall, before we get started here,
Cecil, how is the honeymoon? How was your week? How are you
doing? The honeymoon was great. It was interesting to be completely unplugged from
the world. Luckily, the cruiseship did show the NFL game, so
(00:25):
I am not completely lost, andI was able to get back in time
to set most of my fantasy lineup, even though NFL these European games are
really trying to make sure that Ihave as little time as possible to make
lineup changes. But that's okay.More football every day of the week.
I'm back in. I'm back.I'm ray to rock. There we go
(00:45):
go, don't go to Honduras. We had not Cecil Walker, as we
called him Ben Hendricksville in last week. I'm glad to have Cecil back this
week. He's gonna do a littlebit better on his picks. He's going
to know a little bit more aboutgambling than than maybe Ben did. That's
always good to know. Let's getit started with our recaps seas, we
have a Thursday night game that wasone to forget. We have the Bears
beating the Panthers sixteen to thirteen.Justin Fields was still out for this one.
(01:07):
I don't want to talk about thisgame because it was boring, his
heck and stupid to watch. ButDeontay Forman had a good game, you
know, the Bear the Bears kindof they played a team that they traded
their draft pick to or they gota pick draft pick traded to him by
so like it didn't hurt them towin this game. Cool for them.
They win sixteen thirteen. Yeah, that's really all there is. This is
a really terrible Thursday night game, like literally the worst of the season by
(01:30):
far. Luckily, the Bears dida good job of making sure they Panthers
lose another game and they're hunt forthe number one overall pick. Like you
said, Deontay Foreman's really done agood job. You know, he's really
come on. Since you know,Khleil Herbert got injured, you know,
the Bears will be happy to haveJustin Fields back. Let's just say that
(01:52):
the Tyson Badgein show is over.As much as it was fun for that
Raiders game. Other than that,I mean, they just they aren't very
good. And not saying it's hasa badgings ball necessarily, it's just,
you know, they just don't havethat much talent and he's not an elite
quarterback. I'm not saying he can'tbe a backup in this league or you
know, you know, spot starta couple of games. I'm not saying
(02:13):
that there could be a career there. I think he should demonstrate enough,
you should stick around in the NFL. Ultimately, you know, I'm not
saying you're going to Super Bowl withTyson Badge. Yeah, I'm with you
on that. Also got to notethat Bryce Young still struggling, but they
got to give us some help nextyear. Offensive lines, more receivers.
Adam Peowens is leading receiver this year. That's not going to work out long
term. We might have a veryshort recap. Portion of this show sees
(02:37):
the Sunday was not the greatest.I mean, Thursday wasn't great. Sunday
wasn't the greatest either. So we'regoing to start it with the game in
Germany. The Colts meet the Patriotsten to six. The European fans are
really getting great football over there.Carter Minshew one hundred ninety four yards in
an interception, Jonathan Taylor scored atouchdown. The interesting thing here is the
Colts controlled it the whole way, even at a seven to three and ten
(02:59):
to three leading U But mac Joneswas pulled and they didn't pull them in
a good situation. They pulled himin the two minutes drill and they put
Bailey Zappy in for the two minutesdrill. When Bailey Zappi's the backup,
he doesn't practice the two minute drilllike you at least put him in there
with some time to give him somethingto do. But uh, what a
way to get bet You get benchedand you have a long flight home after
that. So feel kind of badfor mac Jones, but he's not playing
(03:21):
well. Just another game that endedup being one that people can forget,
right. Yeah, it's a veryI mean I feel bad for I mean,
both games in Germany have not beenthat great. The Dolphins Chiefs game
had at least more potential than this. This was a dumpster fire, that's
really what it was. You're right, the colsad control. I mean,
mac Jones threw that awful interception.I mean it was it was egregiously bad.
(03:43):
I mean, and what at firstit looked like that it was tipped,
because it didn't look like one itshould have ever been thrown there in
the first place. And two you'relike, why did not even get close
to the guy who was trying tothrow to So it was just an absolutely
awful interception in every way. Therereally was no re for him to try
to make that throw like that.I mean, the Patriots, and I
(04:05):
think that's what what Bill Belchik getsmost frustrated about is you know, they're
in a position they could still winthis game at all times, and then
you do something stupid like that, where it's just a complete and utter,
mental and visible mistake that you can'ttake back. They still haven't said that
Mac Jones isn't the starting quarterback.A lot of reports are saying that he's
(04:27):
really the locker room, you know, really wants him out of there.
I mean, how much does thatactually mean none of us are in there?
You know, you hear these reports. Somebody somewhere said they don't like
mac Jones, and I mean Ibelieve it. I think he's gotten a
lot of trouble with a lot ofthe cheap shots and stupid stuff he's done.
He's very immature, and I thinkhe's just I don't think he's handling
(04:49):
the pressure of the NFL very well. And I don't think he's really won
anybody over in that locker room tobuy in, because I mean, it's
one thing about a Patriots locker room. It's usually very veteran dread. And
I don't think with that kind ofattitude he's really getting anyone to buy into
him. So we'll see if BellBelichick's gonna stay at the Patriots after this
(05:10):
year or not. I can't reallysee right now away how he stays.
I'm not I don't know what that'sgoing to look like. That's a firing,
retiring. We're mutually parting ways, but this just can't keep going.
And I mean, keeping mac Jonesin there gives you no semblance of hope.
(05:30):
But yeah, Colts win it.Patriots, Honestly, right now,
I think they're probably the worst teamin the NFL. Whenever I was going
to pick one, because I mean, we saw life out of the Cardinals.
You know, you at least havelike a silver lining to the Carolina
Panthers. You know Chicago Bears teamslike that where you're like, they're not
good, but at least they havea semblance of a game plan that can
(05:53):
win. Mac Jones the quarterback's themost important position, and mac Jones not
only is not able to handle, you know, executing that position, but
he also kind of spite you whereyou can't win because of the mistakes he
makes. Be better to almost nothave a quarterback at this point than have
mac Jones at your start. Yeah, I think the Giants might be in
(06:15):
contention for that as well, butyou go into the fact that they've on
their third quarterback with Tommy DeVito.Patriots probably worse. They're in there with
their starting quarterback and they're still losingthis badly. So. According to Dana
Rolovski, Bill Belichickis' next coaching destinationlined up. We'll see how reliable that
is. It would be probably tamperingif he actually did have it lined up,
but that's something we'll get to later. Let's get to the one PM
(06:39):
game Sunday seats. We're going tostart it off with the Texans and Vangals.
One. We kind of want toforget. This defense really did not
play well. For the Bengals. They gave up one hundred and fifty yards
to Devin Singletary, a backup runningback. They gave up one hundred seventy
two receiving yards Noah Brown, ano name receiver who you know, third
fourth receiver on rosters, and theyalso had a bank dep offensive line.
(07:01):
Now, the Bengals started off welland then they gave up that lead because
the defense just kept on giving upyards. And at the end, I
looked at the Texans had at oneand then CJ. Stroud threw a pick
and the Bengals had a chance tocome back, and Tyer Boyd dropped the
ball that was in the end zone, allowing the Bengals to kick a field
goal. Tied up, Texas wentdown the field to scored a field goal
(07:21):
to win the game. You know, the Texans are good. See,
so this is not a loss youwant to have for you the Bengals.
No, it's it's not a goodloss. And it's one where honestly coming
back to Han depending on how theTexans keep playing. CJ. Stroud I
think has officially arrived in the NFL. Between this game and the game prior
against the Falcons, a week before. I mean, he looks good.
(07:44):
He's buying time in the pocket,he's making mostly smart decisions. Obviously that
one in the fourth quarter he definitelywishes he had back. He's a rookie.
I mean, considering the rest ofthe game, you know, most
NFL teams will take it over whatmost teams are getting out of the quarterbacks
these days. So CJ. Stroudlooks by far the best of the young
(08:05):
quarterbacks right now. And yeah,I mean the Texans have I mean,
you look at this team. Theyplay the Jaguars twice still and we'll get
to the Jaguars games here in aminute, but they haven't looked great.
And I mean the Texans really docontrol their own destiny. If I ever
thought, I never thought i'd saythat Texans have a shot to win the
(08:26):
AFC South, But they really do. CJ. Stroud plays at near this
level. Tank Dell is a speeddemon out there. Devin Singletary is not
good, but honestly, he neverreally got a fair shot in Buffalo and
Damian Pierce, they basically have youknow, he's hurt now, but they
were starting to really go away fromDamian Pierce because he wasn't really able to
(08:48):
do much either. So I mean, I think this Texans team a lot
of it is just discovering who theyare and just instead of just holding on
to players who aren't producing, makingpeople that can actually do marginally better improvements
at the position, even thther ornot elite. The other big thing that
I take away from the Texans isMika Rance has really made that Texans defense
(09:09):
something to look at, which isan amazing turnaround in literally half a year,
because that team complete dumpster fire inall facets last year. You know,
the defense wasn't amazing first thing thisyear either. It's taken time,
but I mean they look good.I mean the limited the Bengals a lot
of the game, and you know, they kept pressure and they covered really
(09:31):
well in the secondary as well.So Amiko Ryans is doing well. I
mean, right now, if thatteam makes playoffs, should be Coach of
the Year. That's my honest opinion. I mean, we're talking about an
absolute turnaround here. But good forthe Texans. The Bengals, I mean,
it's extremely frustrating. A lot ofdrops happened. The offense really sputtered
(09:56):
in the middle of that game. They could get nothing going. Chase pretty
much only got involved a couple oftimes. He's spit injured, people got
hurt. People were hurt, whichsucks, and I'm not gonna make that
excuse. Reality is they should havewon this game. I don't think it
should have been a blowout the way. I was nervous about this game before
this game started because not because Ithink the Texans are just like a team
(10:20):
people overlook and things of that nature. I think it's just the Texans are
an underrated team in the NFL basedoff of years and based off of them
being a young team. But they'regetting better each week. And Bengals should
have won it. They had opportunitiesto win it, but at the end
they really c J. Stroud. They were beating the Bengals by a lot
until c J. Stroud threw thatinterception, and it's unfortunate. It sucks.
(10:45):
The Bengals probably were looking towards Baltimoreon Thursday night this week, but
you can't. You know, it'sa one, one game a week kind
of league. Man, it's anygiven Sunday, you know. If you
want to write the Bengals off becauseof this, I don't think that's correct.
I've seen the Bengals teams and theJoe Burrow leaves against way worse teams,
the Mike White Jets, if anybodyremembers that from three years ago,
(11:07):
and they went to the super Bowl, so they're five or four the same
thing. Heck of a schedule infront of one, just like it seems
to have been every year so far. As well. It comes down,
you know, the season basically,I mean postseason kind of starts this week,
this Thursday, Tomorrow night Baltimore forthe Bengals, because that's what it's
gonna take. It's gonna be agonlet but I think they can rise the
(11:31):
occasion. But yeah, Texans area better team than people think. The
Bengals. I'm not super worried aboutthem. There's still a playoff team.
To me, it's hard to sayif they're going to win the division again.
Everything kind of hinges really on Tomorrownight if they have a shot,
barring some kind of collapse within thedivision some of the other teams within it.
(11:52):
The only other big thing of notein this game to talk about is
Trey Hendrickson just basically hyper extending hisknee. Thank god it wasn't more because
I mean, it was a freeaccident. No one did it on purpose.
It's just like the ultimate cherry ontop of this game was watching in
the final play, just a literaldomino effect of people falling down to literally
(12:16):
having someone just fall into the backof his knee where he wasn't even expecting
it so just collapsed. But Ihope he is okay enough and it doesn't
affect the rest of season. Hopefullyit won't. I'm glad it wasn't something
more serious where it would have justcould have. Really, I mean,
we're talking about their number one passrusher, one of the best pass rushing
(12:37):
in the league, just being outthe rest of the season on something that
didn't even happen during the play. That would just be an absolute punch in
the face. But honestly, theBengals dodged that bullet, so I can't
be that mad. There's still positivesigns within the Bengals. It's just that
defense at times it's too porous andallows people to gain yards as they care
(13:00):
more about not giving up total pointsAnd the reality is, you know,
that's all well and good, butit's better to keep people out of theirs
of your side. Of the fieldthan to just let them get to the
twenty all the time and hope toGod to get home to a field goal.
Because this was a game where Imean, you couldn't just let the
Texans keep scorning like they did.And there's too many young, fast guys
on that team that are aggressive andhungry that will get into the end.
(13:24):
Zo. Yeah, definitely, Idid see a lot of inconsistencies with this
young secondary and even some of theolder players like Nick Scott just have to
step up or someone else has toget on the field. There's a lot
of mistackles by the secondary letting upbig plays. As you said, there
Ben don't break, but it's youcan't do that all the time if you're
gonna if you're gonna have breakdowns likethey did in this game. I'm expecting
(13:46):
lu to fix things, to getthings figured out for this next couple of
games and see the next the fourout of the next six games they can
win. I mean, they gotthe Ravens, they got the Steelers twice,
they got the Jaguars, they gotthe Vikings. Yes, a lot
of like everyone's talking all the fivethe schedules are like everyone's ever five hundred
that they're playing like, yeah, but look at it more deeply, like
the people really believe in the Vikings. I mean, maybe we're gonna get
to them in a second here,Like maybe they do. I don't know,
(14:09):
but they're not. We called themfrauds all last year. This year
they're whatever. The Steelers are theteam that has won every game without out
gaining anyone this whole year. Likethey're there. They ate credit for being
above five hundred. But like thesethis schedule being tough is not the Hey,
we're not playing the Chiefs and thenthe Cowboys and then and then the
Eagles back to it's a very theycan still get something done with this schedule,
(14:30):
which is why even if they loseThursday, the division's probably gone.
But they can still make the playoffsand make a run if they if they
just stay focused after that. Allright, So we'll move on to the
Vikings. The Vikings win twenty sevento nineteen. Josh Dobbs wins his second
game with the Vikings. This quarterbackjust running all over the field, scrambling
(14:50):
around, doing a great job. He's taken the power of creed to a
whole other level that he keeps onposting tiktoks of hired by Creed with his
highlights. It's amazing. Josh Doppsis doing great. We have Jameis Will.
What's the getting in this game?Because Derek Carr got hurt. He
threw two touchdowns, two interceptions. The most exciting quarterback in football. I
don't care what anyone says. Youhave that type of thing going around,
that's just that's just fun. MichaelThomas gets hurt, Alexander Madison gets hurt.
(15:13):
But the Vikings are on a rollshees they really are, and couldn't
say that maybe they're better off withoutKirk Cousins somehow, mattew One could say.
But Josh Dobbs is is a conundrumbecause I mean, we watch every
one of these games, and againit's not Josh Obbs isn't a great quarterback
by any means, but he isout there and he's trying to win games
(15:39):
and he doesn't he's not making hugemistakes, and he plays speariously. I'll
give him that. Like he doesn'the's not the most talented guy out there.
That guy plays with no fear andthat's huge. You know, when
you're not a franchise quarterback. Imean, this is how you can play
as a quarterback because the reality islike you're just there, like it doesn't
really matter. You know, theteam doesn't really care if you get hurt,
(16:02):
Like you're out there to just winfootball games. That's your job and
you don't have to worry about,oh what about two years from now if
he has this dentist. They don'tcare, and you just got to go
out there and prove yourself because you'refighting for you know, your NFL career.
Ultimately, love the hire, justkeep that going always. It has
become a universal battle cry for thosewho truly believe in the power of football
(16:26):
and sports in general. As wecan see, but there is a lot
about this Vikings team not to like. Still, the running game is still
absolutely terrible. The receivers, youknow, Jordan Addison has come on and
obviously they have Justin Jefferson who's tryingto come back. Defense is still bad.
(16:49):
It's not good. Somehow they're oneof the better fantasy defenses. Not
one hundred percent sure how that keepshappening, But they're just like they're staying
in football games. They're playing notreally that great teams and they're able to
win them because they're just it's it'sthey're playing teams that should end up around
(17:10):
five hundred, and when you playa bunch of teams are right around five
hundred, it's a dice roll.It doesn't really matter because everyone has their
own agenda on that team. Becausethere's there's functional problems, somebody's hurt,
there's a lot of things that arejust disorganized, and it's hard to really
glean if somebody's good when they beatup a lot a bunch of teams that
are gonna be seven and nine fornine and seven for six and ten,
(17:34):
like the difference between all those recordsis really not that much. But ultimately
it's just there's a lot the Vikingsneed to do and show me before I
go they're gonna have any shot. Will they make the playoffs? I mean,
there's a real chance right now.The wildcards are nobody's you got the
Eagles or Cowboys will be a wildcardfor all of the Cowboys at this point,
(17:59):
and then and outside of that,I mean, I guess probably the
Seahawks, and then besides them,I mean, it's not gonna be anybody
from the NFC South. I mean, it really is just like they could
just bozy on in there like thatsimple, like they could easily be the
(18:19):
seventh seed for the NFC. Iwould never pick them in a million years
to beat any other team that isgoing to be in the NFC playoffs,
not by a long shot, butthey can make it. I don't know
that's honestly good for the franchise ultimately, because being the seventh seed that has
no shot of actually winning anything isnot really a good look for your franchise.
(18:42):
I know people want to embrace, you know, hate people tanking and
hate things like that, but yourteam is gonna be in a much better
position in two years to actually winsomething and make a deep playoff run they
don't make the playoffs, verse andmaking it at nine seven, being the
seventh seed and getting crushed by probablyI mean, right now, the two
(19:07):
seed would either be the probably theforty nine Ers or the Detroit Lions,
and both those teams are gonna beatthem by good in March and as right
now, barring some injuries that happenright before the playoffs. So I don't
think I don't think it's a goodmove. I don't know what the Vikings
GM is trying to do. Maybehe's just trying to prove how good they
(19:29):
can be. But the reality isthey need a new quarterback. If they
make Josh Dobbs their quarterback in thefuture, which should not happen, I
don't think that's their plan either,But if that happens, it's gonna be
the same situation year in and yearout because this team is not good enough
and it's Kurt formed. It wasn'tgood enough for Kirk Cousins. There's too
many holes on the defense, andthey don't have a running game, and
(19:52):
there's those are two big difference makersbetween a average at a whole team and
a good one. Yeah, thepositive, because you're right, they're a
middle of the pack team and that'snot good enough to get a new quarterback.
It's not good enough to get thathigh picked or really jumpstart that franchise.
As they found a coach, KevinO'Connell the last two years. I
mean, we could talk about fraudslast year, we could talk about this
(20:14):
year starting off slow, done agreat job, but especially in the situation,
at least they have that going forhim. They can maybe do the
rebuild with him over the next coupleof years to see how things go.
All right. So the next oneup, we have the Steelers beating the
Packers twenty three to nineteen. Thiswas a game that Jordan loved threw two
picks. Christian Watson got heavily criticizedfor not fighting for the football. Jalen
(20:37):
Warren had a more of a backfieldsplit. He was named the starter,
had a backfield split with Najee Harris. So a lot going on there.
End of the day, Steelers getthe win, that's the most important thing.
Wasn't an impressive win. That's howthey do it. They just kind
of grind games out. And thePackers are bad. Yeah again, it's
like the Steelers. You don't wantto talk about a team that are it's
hard to call them frauds, theSteelers, but because they everyone kind of
(20:59):
knows they're not good, right,Like it's it's a very weird, Like
the Vikings. People were like,no, the Vikings are good last year.
This year it is like the Steershave a good record, but it's
it's against no one, Like theybeat the Browns when like and because Nick
Chubb got heard all that stuff happened, and while the Browns were good early
(21:22):
in the season, and that wasa good win, But again it was
a lot of like the defense comesalive and just makes timely turnovers and they
just out I mean, basically, you're right. How many times have they
have they outgained anybody this year onoffense or the other team's offense, Like
that's insane to me, Like, hats off of the Steers defense. They're
(21:45):
great by Tomos, a great coach. As much as I hate the Steelers,
I give credit where credits due. They're really good. Their offense is
really, really bad. Like it'slike when you see a touchdown drive out
of Kenny Pickett and Nagi Harris andJalen Warren, you're almost like, I
can't believe this is happening. Likethat's how bad their offense is. Their
(22:08):
offense you almost go, are theygonna score a touchdown on offense? Or
god forbid, somehow they get tooIf they get fourteen points, I'm usually
going, Okay, Steelers defense getthem really good at the old position.
They got it like the forty yardline. That's the only way I think,
because I do not this team. This offense is not capable of doing
(22:29):
an eighty yard drive downfield. Itjust isn't they're running Honestly, Jalen Warren
Najie Harris have gotten better as theseason's gone on comparing to the horrendous start
of the season they had, SoI mean their offense has gotten marginally better.
But the reality is Kinny Pickett notdoing much of anything. George Pickens
is the only one that's really areal talent on the receiving corps that I
(22:52):
go. That guy can play ona lot of teams and be a great
receiver, but they can't get inthe ball that often. They just throw
check downs and they just you know, throw the ball to the you know,
other receivers that just really aren't gonnado anything, Like they don't score
touchdowns as an offense, and you'renot gonna win in the league. Like
(23:15):
people are freaked out about, likethe AFC Norths really that good, But
the reality is the Browns losta ShaunWatson. We'll get to that. The
Steelers are not good. I meanthey have these wins, but against no
one. They've barely played anybody, and they're gonna start getting crushed. Like
that's the thing, Like I'm notthat worried. I mean, I'm always
(23:37):
worried about the Bengals playing the Steelersjust because it's a rivalry game. Things
happen. I'm worried about somebody gettinghurt, honest to God, against that
defense. But other than that, like I even know, way ever scared
to the Pittsburgh Steelers offense having theball, never terrified about it. I
go, worst case they have agood drive and they get a field goal.
That's how it feels. It's likea good successful effect up ride for
(24:00):
that offense is a field goal fromlike forty yards out, and honestly,
it's it's working. It's not.It's not gonna be better. It's not
gonna get any better until Canny Pickettsteps up as an offensive quarterback. But
yeah, their defense is really good. Hats off them with his record Packers
stick. It's just that simple.Their young receivers aren't doing anything. Jordan
(24:25):
Love's not doing anything. They Aaron, They're like terrified Aaron Jones' hamstring right
now. So he's not really gettingas much feature back work as he probably
should with the town he is,and the defense is taking another step back.
So a lot of things to consideragain, it's a it's another two
(24:45):
average teams. I don't think eitherof them are just absolutely awful. Neither
of them are a bottom like fiveteam, or oddly the Packers aren't even
a bottom ten team. Probably theSteelers are right on the higher end of
the average. Packers are on thelower end where they're still out of teams
and we got an average result. The other thing that keeps the Steelers beating
all these teams in the defense absolutelyright ceas I think for Bengals fans too,
(25:07):
You're right like them being this middleof the pack team doesn't scare me,
doesn't scare me long term. Ifthey have Kenny Pickett a quarterback,
I'm not scared they might lose agame here or there, But like overall,
I'm much more scared of what couldhappen in the division from the other
teams rather than the Steelers, whomight go nine and eight every year.
And that's great because Mike Tomlin's gettingthe most out of the talent. But
they're never gonna get until they finda way to get a new quarterback to
(25:29):
help the offensive line. It's notgoing to change for them. So I'm
with you. I was really scaredof them, but they did get the
win. There are six and three. They deserve credit for winning games,
even if it isn't by the prettiestof measures. Next one up, we
have the Tennessee Titans at the TampaBay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers won this game
twenty to six. Very boring gameto watch, as it was one of
the screens we were watching. Wehad Baker Mayfield throwing two touchdowns. Mike
(25:52):
Evans had a big day one hundredand forty three yards in the touchdown.
This comes down to the Titans offenseinability to the football. A lot of
it, I would say gets puton Derek Henry, gets put on Bill
Levis because he's a rookie quarterback. But their offensive line is just not good.
And that's that's that's all this gametook is you win the game in
the trenches, but you also losethe game in the trenches, right,
(26:14):
I mean you ultimately do like that'swhere the games are won and lost.
I mean, they couldn't get anypush off the ball. Tampa Bay defensive
line is still really good, youknow, last year. In the last
probably three years, they've had probablyone of the best rushing defenses in the
NFL. The Titans offense is predicatedon getting Derek Henry Gill. Their defense.
It's just overall it's a really gooddefense. It still is. It's
(26:37):
not a lead anymore, but stillgood. And Will Levis got off slow.
Derrick Henry wasn't getting was getting hitin the backfield concept. I mean,
it's hard to really blame a runningback about not being able to do
anything when you're getting hit two yardsbehind the line scrimmage almost every play,
when guy linemen are getting pushed intoyou as you get the ball, it's
(27:00):
hard to blame. Like we wedon't blame quarterbacks and the offensive line suck
and they're like literally having to throwthe ball as soon as they receive it
because the offensive line's bad. Butoffensive lines effect. Running back's a great
deal too, and it's a littlebit more nuanced obviously, but there's not
many running backs in NFL history whenyou're in the backfield that often that are
(27:22):
able to gonna have a great gameon it. I mean, maybe they
break one here or there, whichDerek Henry still can do and has shown,
but it's hard to do that everyplay. That's exhausting. It's a
lot of work and it's just notdoable. So, yeah, the Titans
are a very they're Jeck going highteam. They're very Again, they're an
average team in the NFL. Eachweek, you don't know what you're gonna
(27:45):
get. I thought, maybe we'lllove it Scot off a hot start,
maybe that'd be a bright spot, but obviously he struggled in his starts since
that point. It's the same thing. You know, get Dereck Henry going,
do what you need to do tostrengthen the line to get Dereck Henry
the time. He's probably losing alittle bit of a step at this point
in his career, sure, buthe's still better in a lot of running
backs. And then open that upfor Will Levis to your own quarterback who
(28:08):
honestly shows he can distribute the balland you know, get it DeAndre Hopkins,
who can make something happen with Sonot that hard to figure out their
offense. They need to figure outa way to actually execute that if they
want to actually win games. Isit gonna matter, No, because they're
not making the playoffs anyway. It'sgoing to be too hard in the AFC.
So you just got to get WillLevis going and hopefully that's the answer
(28:32):
for your franchise. Yeah, lastnote on this game. I think the
Buccaneers have to be happy about payingBaker Mayfield one year four million dollars.
There's people paying backups that amount andhe is in there starting and winning games.
They're not the greatest team. Theymay not make the playoffs, but
just worth noting that when the quarterbackmarket. You know, the Giants paid
Damon Jones forty million, Well,Baker Mayfield's getting paid for so interesting little
note there. Next game up,we have the San Francisco forty nine ers
(28:56):
at the Jacksonville Jaguars. Forty nineers prove they are different team after the
spot they needed to get healthy. They just needed a reset. They ended
up getting that. They win thisthirty four to three. We have Chase
Young and Nick Bosa played rushing thepasser together again, both Ohio State products
and familiar with each other. TrevorLawrence has been struggling all year. He
needs to get it together. Andsee's more importantly to people in fantasy and
(29:18):
gambling worlds, Christian McCaffrey first gamein a long long time without a touchdown.
They tried to keep him in thegame even longer than they should have
to get him in the touchdown, but he couldn't get it done. So
his streak is over. He doesnot have the NFL record. Yeah,
that's unfortunate, but I mean, hell was streak. Let's be honest,
like that's awesome. I mean, good for him, good for the forty
(29:38):
nine ers. That's a great thing. But I mean the forty nine ers
looked that amazing. It looked reallygood. They looked like the team we
saw earlier in the season where wewent this team is super Bowl contender.
I know a lot of people freakedout over the three game losing streak.
I didn't ever freak out. Youknow, it wouldn't worried me a little
bit that maybe there's some things thatI think there are some problems. I
(30:03):
think this team's not very good atif they're bought down by more than like
a possession, they're in a toughspot. I mean, your run first
team, you're always going to bea tough spot like that. But I
believe Deebo Samuel being back and healthy, you know, getting Trent Williams back,
adding Chase Young is I think gonnabe huge for that pass Rutch because
they just weren't getting enough pressure. But I wouldn't be worried about the forty
(30:27):
nine ers. I think you knowthey're gonna be right in the thick of
it. They'll probably make it theNFC Championship a game, just depending on
matchups, but they're they're team thatcan win a Super Bowl. That's It's
not going to be easy for themto do it, but they have a
shot. They have just as muchof a shot now as I think they
(30:47):
did when Jimmy Garoppolo was there inthat year they didn't make the Super Bowl.
So the defense is really good.I think they're running backs. I
mean, Christian McCaffer is better thanthe running backs they had that that's not
hard to say. And I thinkDeevo Sanduels and brand Ayuk are really coming
their own. George Kittle's still great, and I think Rock Perdy can do
just as well as jim Garoppolo didthat year. So you know that it's
(31:11):
gonna depend on what happens in acouple of games here in the future.
They're gonna win the NFC West. It's just really going to come down to
and honest to God might come downto if the Cowboys can somehow win the
division and then somehow the forty nineErs and Eagles have to play each other,
that might be one way they don'tmake it. But again, they
match up really well against the Cowboys. So basically at this point, it's
(31:34):
hard to think that the other NFCteams are going to be able to beat
them most of the time. Besides, besides the Eagles, so far,
no one else has really shown theability or has the trackers that could make
me a thing that they're going tobe the favorited team against this team.
Jaguars are awful looking. I meanTrevor Lawrence, like they just got like
(31:55):
there's games where they just get beatup on. They're inconsistent, and that
comes down, like you said,it comes down to Trevor Lawrence most of
the time. Because the defense hasholes and you know, they're doing the
best they can. They've upgraded thereceiving corps, they've got good weapons.
Travis Etns been playing really well, but a lot of it just comes down
to Trevor Lawrence can't push the balldown field very well. At times.
(32:16):
He makes really bad mistakes and hehas to use his legs a lot to
bail them out of, you know, problems to get first down, so
not really moving the ball through theair very much. It's a lot of
Travis Etn and then it's a lotof Trevor Lawrence just running for first downs.
You're right, pretty much is Imean, Etn's been a bright spot,
but Lawrence really needs to step upfor forty nine ers. I mentioned
(32:38):
last week's show when you were here, sees that they are three and six
when Williams doesn't play. So ifyou're looking for a time where they may
struggle, look for if he's playing, if he's like healthy through the playoffs,
they are a team that can winthe whole thing, but that could
be a factor later on in theseason. Next game up, we have
the Cleveland Browns in Baltimore Ravens. The Browns win at thirty three to thirty
(33:00):
one. They had a great comeback. Ravens went up early. You thought
the game was over seventeen to threeat the end of the first quarter.
Deshaun Watson breaks his shoulder and endsup playing flawless football down the stretch to
get the Browns to come back.Like he completed all the passes I believe
in the fourth quarter and they winthe game. It was the best of
Shawn Watson's looked all year. Findout. Now they win the game.
(33:20):
They're six and three. It's great. They're in the in competition for the
division. And now Deshaun Watson isout for a year with the broken shoulder.
He wanted to play, apparently andget injections in his shoulder to play
throughout the year, but they saidif you got hit one more time,
it could fall apart. So whilewe were ragging on him for not being
tough enough to play through the injuryan injury before, this is different.
He is out for the season. The Browns just went from a team that
(33:42):
you could maybe go to the playoffstoo. Now it's PJ. Walker.
It's gonna be tough. Not thatDeshaun Watson was playing that well, but
it's still gonna be tough. Withthe backup quarterback, it's gonna be tough.
It's also gonna be tough for theteam to I think the biggest thing
here because again, like you said, they've been playing and winning games a
backups. With Deshaun Watson not playingvery well, it's really gonna be up
(34:05):
to that locker room to believe theycan win. I know that's a lot
of gen Z manifesting it sounds like, but the reality is like the culture
in that locker room has to bestrong and they have to have resilience.
Right now, they have a greatdefense, they really do, and absolutely
stunning a good defense. The offense, it's a piece of work, but
(34:28):
they've been able to somehow stay ingames enough. Kenis Fanski's being able to
scheme it enough for them to bein games till the end of the game
and try to win it. Andit's worked out a lot. This Ravens
won. I can't believe that picksix happened. It really let the Browns
back in this game. I meanthat that fourth quarter was ridiculous. I
(34:49):
just sat there and I went Iliterally was like, there's no way,
I mean, this game's over. And then the Ravens just they shit the
bed. It was really that simple. And I mean Browns yeah. I
mean at the end of this game, I didn't know Deshaun Watson was hurt.
I'm like, I guess, youknow, the Browns are really played
to win this division. The waythe Bengals are playing, the way the
Ravens just played. I mean, they've already got to win on us.
(35:13):
This could be a huge thing. But no, to Shaun Watson, you
know, it's it's it's still adowngrade. Like I don't like Deshaun Watson.
You and I both talked about it. We don't, you know,
personally and on the field. Ijust don't think he's really shown he's that
good. Showed flashes in this game, but he's out and it's hard to
really believe that they're gonna be ableto lean on PJ. Walker to get
him through the rest of the year. They got they got let one,
(35:36):
They're nine games in, they goteight more games left. They really need
to win probably four of them tomake the playoffs, three to four,
depending on who they win and onI mean, I think they could still
make the playoffs right now. Youknow, they play the right team in
the divisional round, the defense dominates, they could advance, but they're not
(35:57):
gonna They're not gonna win a superBowl. It's just it sucks. I
didn't think they were with Shahn Watsonanyway. But it's a nice gut con
chatter, a huge comeback from behindwin against you know, the team leading
division. So I actually feel badfor the Browns for once. Don't feel
bad for de Shaun Watson, butfeel bad for the team because again,
(36:17):
it seems like there's a chance midseasonthe Browns could be something or you know,
make the playoffs, and then somethinghappens. Most of the time it's
self inflicted by the front office, but this time, for once, it's
just unfortunately fate. So I'm sorryto you bet Arounds fans out there,
Ravens fans, I mean, thisis a pivotal game you blew for no
(36:38):
reason. You could have pretty muchhave you won this game and you won
on Thursday. You had the divisionvirtually lost. Now you were going to
win this game. Now you lostit the last second in a very unconvincing
fashion. You're on a short weekof playing Cincinnati, a team that you
beat before barely with a quarterback whowas not anywhere near healthy. So it'll
(37:01):
be an interesting matchup. We'll getto that. But Ravens fans, now,
just like the Bengals wasted golden opportunity, the Ravens did even more so
because that l is also within theirown division, which is gonna that tiebreaker
is probably going to come into playat the end of the season. Absolutely,
and also we talked about it,like the Ravens, we were starting
to get belief in them being likemaybe the best team in the league or
(37:22):
one of the best teams in theleague, and we always said, like
they just dropped games. They shouldn'tthey lose the bad teams. This is
one where they lost to a teamthat was banged up. I mean they
had injuries on the offensive line,Nick Chubbs out and everything obviously for the
whole year, but they threw thisgame away. Basically, this is one
where you kind of like the backof your mind that you're kind of like,
(37:42):
maybe we can't believe in the Ravens'Super Bowl contenders, the best team
in the league. And for theBrowns, right like, we just feel
bad for the injury luck, feelbad for the fans that the reasonable fans,
not the ones that we run intothat park in our faces, but
the reasonable fans who maybe just wantedsomething good this year and it just doesn't
seem like it's going to add up. After a good start. We'll go
to the four PM games cease wehave the Cardinals meeting the Falcons twenty five
(38:05):
to twenty three, it was KylerMurray returned to the lineup. He has
a game winning drive for the Cardinalsto get them the He got have a
game winning field goal. He lookedreally, really good in this game for
a guy who hadn't played in awhile. He did their ow an interception,
but otherwise look good. We haveb Jeon Robinson getting a red zone
touches. This is new Arthur Smithevolving, maybe letting the fantas football players
shame him. And then we hadDesert Ritter back into the lineup because Taylor
(38:29):
Heinecke got hurt. Ultimately, itdoesn't matter. They're gonna be getting a
new quarterback next year, so whocares. But the Cardinals win, tech
mode might be off for the timebeing because Kyler Murray, Kyler Mury,
Kyler Murray looks like he's too goodto tank. Yeah, Kyler Murray knows
he's playing for his job too. It's reality. If he doesn't win games,
they're gonna get a new quarterback becausethey're already so far behind the draft
(38:51):
order the Falcons. I mean, yeah, congratulations, Arthur Smith. He
used b Jean Robinson in the redzone. He's probably your best offensive weapon
for the scheme that you choose torun because you refuse to use anybody else
besides running backs, you decide touse your all star talent at running back
to score touchdowns. I applaud you. I could have figured that out at
(39:15):
like my first Man game when Iwas eight years old. I could have
figured out Jon Robinson has a higheroverall grade than these people. I'm gonna
run an HB power half that powerall day with this guy until somebody stops
me. But you know, somepeople like throwing the ball. I mean,
especially in matt everyone loves throwing nobodyI mean running fun. But you
(39:37):
know you want to be able tothrow the deep shot. Everybody wants to
be quarterback deep down. But Imean Arthur stiffs just again, Drake London
barely did anything. Kyle Pitts barelydid anything. And it's just stupid.
It's frustrating, it's dumb, likeJon Robinson should enhance the offense and be
(39:58):
able to use him. You makehim power, You make people have to
answer to tackling this guy, andthen you throw over their heads with your
elite passing threats you have. Theydon't do that. They then go all
right, I've run a lot withJean Robinson. You know, Tyer Aljeer
is gonna get ten carries. Now, nobody cares about Tyler Aljeer. Nobody
(40:20):
in any line that's gonna go,oh my gosh, is that Tyler Aljeer.
We gotta throw guys in the boxor this. And they're not worried,
Honestly, God, they're not worriedabout play action because they know Arthur
Smith will continue to use Tyler Algearand Cordell Patterson. So I hate this
Falcons team. I hate Arthur Smith. He should not, Honestly, at
this point, that guy should notbe allowed anywhere near the offensive play calling.
(40:45):
Like that's fine, leaving this headcoach. I don't know why,
but this is this is not asuccessful franchise right now. They don't.
I mean, you've got to findsomeone who at least is just I just
don't understand it, Like, somebody, please make me understand why Arthur Smith
would not use all these guys gooddrafted. If I was the GM of
the Falcons, I'd be pissed.I'd be like, what was the point
(41:07):
of me doing any of this?If you're never going to use these people?
At all, So very frustrating ifyou're the Atlanta Falcons fans out there,
So a lot of frustration this week. That's what I like to call
frustration week for a lot of people, because it just some teams won,
and you know, it was abig celebration for them, but a lot
of people are just sitting there ontheir television on some Sunday just being like,
(41:29):
man, my team looked like garbagefor no reason. Well, I
made a joke about deporting Arthur Smithlast week. I'm sticking with it.
I'm glad to use bje On alittle bit more, but we should,
we should deport them. It's it'snot fair that he can just keep on,
oh I don't care about your fantasyteams and just not realize that,
yes it's partially fantasy teams, butalso like we're trying to get you to
use your best players. It's kindof how football works. But nonetheless,
(41:52):
they're a bad team. The Cardinalsare a bad team. But obviously,
get Kyler Murray back, things mightchange. James Connor returned to this game
too, so that that obviously helpstoo. But move on to the new
one. Seas we have the DetroitLions and the almost at San Diego.
It's been five years almost at SanDiego. Los Angeles Chargers will always be
San Diego to me, that's right. It should still be San Diego.
Did Lions win forty one to thirtyeight? They win? Camera Dicker had
(42:15):
a last or excuse me, RileyPatterson, the camera Dicker is the charge
kicker. I had a last secondfield goal to win this one. A
lot of last second field goals towin games this week for the Lions,
Jared Goff has moved up to thePFF number one quarterback in the league.
He just deserved it. There's beensome bad games, but overall I have
had a good season. They've alsofinally have a mix of David Montgomery and
Jamier Gibbs and it works perfectly.Who would have thought just having both guys
(42:37):
get carries, the smash and thedash, the power and the light speed
guy. Would you know? Whowould have thought? That could have worked
out pretty well? Forty one pointsfor them. Chargers got down early,
were able to come back because KeenanAllen had two touchdowns one hundred and seventy
five yards. He's been a Fantasyfootball the savior this year. Tough loss
for the Chargers, especially in thistough AFC, But the Lions looked like
a wagon right now, seas theydo. I mean the Lions, I
(43:02):
mean they are a team that Imean they could be. It's hard to
say the NC because it's hard toreally say that the Lions are better than
the three we went into the seasonwith, right you know, we all
pretty much said, you know,if Eagles, forty nine, Ers,
Cowboys are the three best, seasthe Lions. I mean, it's hard
(43:24):
to really say they're gonna beat thoseteams. But there's a reality where if
Jared Goff does maintain his composure inthese games, they could win. The
biggest knock on this guy is ultimately, when things don't go well, there's
a broken play, he folds intonothingness and falls onto the ground and like
the field position, it just givesup. It's something that in the playoffs
(43:46):
you're not gonna be able to doas often. Right. You know,
you see all the greatest quarterbacks outthere, they create, they make things
happen. Jared gov unfortunately, heis not a creator. That doesn't make
him bad, but it doesn't makehim elite. I think the Lions can
win with him. They're the oneteam where I'd say I don't favorite them
in the playoffs past the divisional round, but I can see the realm where
(44:09):
things bounce their way, they willwin. But I also see in the
divisional round worries me they play, you know, just the Seahawks or somebody,
because we saw it in the gameearly this year. There are some
things where there's some bad breaks inthe game. The Lions can get upset
as well. So they're a veryhigh variants team for a team that could
(44:29):
has the talent to be a veryelite team. It's much better than every
other team the NFC wars. There'sa route to the super Bowl for them.
We saw it in the offseason. We saw it that they have that
potential to really take that leap.I put money on it after our great
friends SEMOU won their conference championship lastyear. Bengals Lions, it's coming to
a theater near you, baby,a year out. But there's a shot.
(44:54):
And I love where this Lions teamis. I don't think it's a
I think there are now a fourgood team the NFC, because I think
the Lions are the most vulnerable honestto God, could they beat the Cowboys?
I think so. It's just asthere's four teams, I think things
could bounce right for a lot ofthem, and some of them just don't
(45:14):
play well against each other. Ithink any of those teams will merge from
the Super Bowl, like I willsay, it will be one of those.
It's gonna be one of those fourteams that is the in the ANFC
in the Super Bowl. One ofthose four, it will be no one
else, honest to God. SoI think they deserve to be ranked with
the other three. I think theydefinitely get a seat at the table,
(45:36):
and it'll be interesting to see becauseit really does go down to Jared Goff
just really making something happen at timeswhere things are less than ideal, and
it's just going to come down tothat defense continuing to just step up and
be aggressive and make plays, becausethat's the other thing that's really came on
this year so far. Yeah, definitely Lions. I think you're right,
(45:59):
even seated expectations from the start.A team that's been fun to root for
this year is the team that's kindof different but also winning in different ways.
Like we said, like Montgomery andsGibbs working together this week. They've
also have been able to air itout at different points, and their defenses,
you know, had some injuries, but they've been able to stick with
it. So good for them toget the win and the Chargers will have
to try to rebattle. Like Isaid, in this AFC that's getting tougher
(46:20):
and tougher as the weeks go on. Next game up, we have the
Seattle Seahawks beating the Washington Commanders twentynine to twenty six. Jason Myers hit
a walk off field goal. GinoSmith made some big throws in this game
to kind of keep him with it. Brian Robinson had a huge game for
the Commander. Sam Howe is provingthat he can be the guy for the
Commanders. He had every three hundredyards again. Overall, you know,
(46:42):
the Commanders played well for a teamthat has traded away most of their assets
at this point. And the Seahawks, I mean, they needed to get
the win on We'll get the winat home to stay at six and three,
to stay tied for that NFC West. They got the job done.
Yeah, the Seahawks are like whatI like, They are like the default,
the best team in the NFC basicallyjust because they really just don't like
(47:06):
they're just the only team that, like I have any confidence in besides the
division winners and the Cowboys. Likeit's like, I think they can win
a lot of matchups. I thinkthey have it. They have it.
Ultimately, I expect them to winmore games they lose most matchups. I'm
gonna pick them to probably win andas eight one, but they'll get the
job done. They have a reallygood running back and Kenneth Walker. I
(47:27):
think Zach Carbon is a good changeof pace back for them. I think,
you know, Smith continues to doa good job, not great.
I think it's a lesser version ofwhat we've kind of seen from Jared Gott
so far in the last two years. They have really good receivers and speed
on the outside, and the defenseis not great, but they are okay.
(47:47):
They're okay enough to not just givepoints away over and over. So
again, like they are like,I just don't see a war where they
don't make the playoffs. It's justkind of like a done deal. Basically.
In the NFC, it feels likeit's like there are six teams.
The seven team won't It's like amoot point because they will never go anywhere.
(48:09):
It could be the Viking somebody else. You know, there's still a
good amount of games left. Butthe Seahawks, you know, they win
another close one. The Commanders area team that it's it's interesting they keep
winning despite I don't know if theywere trying to tank there. They are
a team that is a conundrum toeveryone because they have talent on paper.
(48:30):
He went in the season, hewent, there's a lot of talent on
this team, and Sam how hasreally stepped up. I think he can
be the answer for the Commander's longterm. Is that a great answer?
Probably not, but it is.It is a right answer. It's not
the best answer, but it's stillan answer. That's really the only way
to put it. I love whatBrian Robinson's doing with this team right now,
(48:54):
yet yet scary Terry still I'd loveto see Logan Thomas get more involved
at times, but they got thepieces of a decent team. I just
it's hard to really pinpoint what's necessarilywrong because if you don't want to go
upgrade the quarterback, it's hard toreally say what needs to be directly,
(49:15):
like, what's the one thing onEarth that they need to upgrade. I
mean their secondary. They did EmmanuelForbes this year. You know, they
had a good defensive line. Theyjust got rid of all those guys.
I mean, maybe a more dominantreceiver. It's just they try to address
things over time. It's just theytheir guys have all been very like average
(49:36):
decent NFL players, but no one'sreally ridden too that like elite, like
this is a great one of thebest at his position. I'm with you.
I think pass rusher will be somethingthey draft and maybe sign someone.
But you're right, they have youknow, Terry McLaren is a really good
wide receiver. They don't always befully utilize them, so they need to
figure something out. It's a kindof bad timing that they have a solid
team, but it's at a timewhere the Eagles are so good and the
(49:58):
Cowboys are so good. But yeah, I think Sam how is the answer
the answer moving forward, not thebest answer. But since they're winning games,
like, they're not going to drafta quarterback either, so it's gonna
be tough to replace him this offseason. We'll see what they do coming up
here. So next game up seasCowboys with the Giants forty nine to seventeen.
Tommy DeVito is starting at quarterback forthe Giants. It's awful right now.
(50:20):
If the team is awful, Igot nothing like Dak. Dak played
well, that's really cool. Itlooked like he was like eleven on nine
at some points, Like that's howbad the defense is, and Tommy DeVito
just thinks that. You know, that's all I gotta say about it.
Yeah, I mean, you can'treally expect much from they got read Dexter
Lawrence. Tommy DeVito is a startingquarterback who should not be starting anywhere.
(50:42):
I feel bad for Brian Dabele Andyeah, I mean Dak did look good,
but what does that mean against theteam who's given up so good for
Dak. Cowboys are getting rolling, which is good to see, but still
like they beat up on a horribleteam. They beat up on the Giants
twice this year, so and theycan play the Giants every week. I'd
(51:04):
say the Cowboys win the Super Bowl, but they don't. Yeah, it's
just just about proving it to usover the course of the rest of the
season. Right now, you're ina good spot, but just go beat
some good teams. Finish the seasonstrong and that beat. That'd be what
we want from the Cowboys before wecan really buy into what they're doing.
Sunday Night Football seas, we hadthe Jets at the Raiders. The Raiders
win at sixteen to twelve. AntonioPears has two wins as interim coach,
(51:25):
really showing that maybe the problem withJosh McDaniels. A O'Connell's been starting quarterback
for them too, and they're ableto win. They're featuring Josh Jacobs and
Devanta Adams. That's what's something hesaid, Like the nineties Cowboys they had
Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin. Wehave Josh Jacobs and Devanta Adams, and
even though they're not those guys perse, it's still a star power to
go after. And really what heldthis game back for the Jets is still
(51:46):
the quarterback play. You know, they're still saying Zach Wilson's the guy.
They're gonna let him finish out theseason or whatever until Aaron Rodgers comes back.
Aaron Rodgers is targeting in December.Return date told them how that's possible.
So you're basically running with with ZachWilson, And I mean, we've
talked about it a million times. He's just not. It's just not gonna
be at cease. He isn't.I feel bad for the kid. It's
(52:08):
just like he just is. Thetalent isn't there. It's not. It's
the worst part is it's not gettingbetter week to week. Like you think,
like he gets this many snaps overtime, maybe he would get finally
better, but he's not. He'sjust the same no matter what. I
guess. He doesn't throw three interceptionsa game now as much, so that's
(52:29):
good. He's cut down on theturnovers, so I'll give him that.
But by cutting down the turnovers also, he now also throws for one hundred
and seventy five yards game, andthat's really it. He throws a bunch
of stuckdowns and most of those yardsare literally from the backfield and results it
runs for thirty yards or something. So he's not it. I feel bad
(52:50):
for him because it's not like he'sit's just again he's kind of just there.
Well, Mac like at this point, I never thought i'd say this,
but right now, from what I'veseeing between the two of them,
I mean, I'd rather have ZachWilson continue to plug and play for the
Jets that have Mac Jones in there. Mac Jones is actively losing people games.
(53:13):
Zack Wilson is not actively losing theJets games. And that's something to
talk about. You're not actively losing, you're not winning, You're just you're
literally there. You might as wellbe a robot handoff like robot. That's
that's kind of what he is.That's okay, he's gonna make his money.
But this Aaron Rodgers stuff makes it. I just I just sit there
and I'm like, what world arewe living in? Man? Like Cam
(53:36):
Akers came back from a torn Achillesto make it back in time for the
Super Bowl. I think he toreit in training camp that year, so
that was still like, you know, five months. He was also like
twenty four years old. Aaron Rodgersis forty almost, and literally he's trying
to come back in like two months, three months time. It's like it
(54:00):
doesn't even seem that's not impossible. It's literally not possible. Honestly, God,
I just want to like put yourmoney where your mouth is. I
want to see it just because I'dlove to watch this happen. I hope
not think like long term happens tothe man. But Jesus, like Hiddry's
going out, Like yeah, Ithink December and big evat December like sixteenth,
(54:21):
so like I think I'll be there. I mean, it'd be one
hell of an NFL story to seea guy that the Jets can still keep
this team just level. Basically,Zach Wilson is just steering the ship.
There is no captain. He's justmaking sure they don't hit rocks in the
open ocean. He's just got toget him to the point where Aaron and
I are just gonna get back onthe boat. And he's doing that,
(54:45):
And I can't wait to see theoutrageous shipwreck if it comes. If Aaron
Rodgers tries to step into a gameafter three months adver carrying Achilles, you
can't walk for like two months afteryou tear your killings. He's doing it.
That he's doing it, it's insane. It's just it's it's alternative facts.
(55:07):
I mean, if anybody can doit, it's that crazy man.
He'll get on a bunch of yahwaskaand he won't be able to feel his
legs and one true. I mean, I'm excited to see it play out.
Interested to see it play out.I don't want anyone get hurt.
I don't want to come back andget hurt. But behind this offensive line
too, it doesn't seem like it'sgonna go well for Aaron Rodgers. I
(55:29):
think if they're putting all their eggsin this basket, which it seems like
they are, they're unwilling to giveup a late round pick for Josh Dobbs
or someone. Yeah, I mean, I don't know. It's crazy to
me too, Seiz, I don'tthink it's coming back. If he keeps
on listening to dolphin noises when they'remating and whatever, good more powers.
If that helps you heal, that'sthat's great. I don't care. I
just Aaron Rodgers. We've seen toomuch of him the last couple of years.
(55:50):
One and night football season, wehad the Broncos upsetting the Bills twenty
four to twenty two. Now,a couple weeks ago you mentioned that they're
frauds. Last week, Ben andI had just talked like they're not even
fraud anymore. They're just a badfootball team. So they lose this game.
They had twelve minute on the fieldwhen the Broncos were trying to attempt
a latefield goal and allow them totake another chance at it to win the
game. That's really really what didhim in. Josh Allen's turning the ball
(56:14):
over too much. They've now firedoffensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, who, if
you look at the stats, isactually a good offensive coordinator. They're doing
everything right, they're just turning theball over too much, which mostly falls
on Josh Allen. So I thinkhe's most mostly a scapegoat here for a
larger problem, which is going tobe a probably big coaching change this offseason
if the Bills don't find a wayto turn it around and fast. Yeah,
(56:37):
he's definitely a portunately, his sacrificiallamb for Josh Allen's ales and wallows
the guy. I mean, let'ssee, honest, it's a Josh Allen's
problem. Brian Dale, I don'tknow, he's a wizard. Okay,
Like he gets fired from New York. I will give him any all of
its the coordinator drop in the NFLat any time, because that man he
(56:58):
probably just screened to Josh Allen atoff They just went I will not throw
this ball in the triple coverage.I will not do it. Because Brian
is going to screen at me.And it worked. It worked really well
for two years. Yeah, JoshAllen now is just he's again like it
can be great, absolutely great talent, but man, he can do some
(57:20):
stupid stupid things just every like literallyhe's started. He's so many interceptions.
You can basically bet on a throwingan interception in every game. It's literally
negative money. Now, it's noteven money because it's just that obvious it's
gonna happen. That's not good, and especially good if you're considered a star
(57:45):
of the NFL, and I thinkhe is a star of the NFL.
But it's just a very awkward placeto be. He's not. He's not
Brett far because Brett Far through interception, sure, but not in the way
Josh Allen does where you just go, what the hell is that the ball
away? Just stop stop being upin games and just start doing crazy stuff
(58:05):
like you're in the backyard where itdoesn't matter and letting teams back in games.
I mean, Sean McDermott's gonna getfired at this rate, and honestly
I can't argue that he shouldn't.They have great defense, they have great
offense. Could they find a numbertwo receiver besides you know, Stefon Diggs.
Yeah, they probably should have donethat by this point, but they
(58:27):
did get Dunk Kinkaid, who hasbeen really good recently. But yeah,
it's just it's a ship show,it really is. And it's just it's
not good football. It's just aguy with a lot of talent making things
happen regardless of what the scheme is. And it's not that the scheme's bad
he's doing in spite of it's justhe's just doing his own thing. It's
(58:51):
not good. Bills might make missthe playoffs. I mean, that's where
they're at right now. The Billsare really in real day missing the playoffs
right now. They have no oneto blame but themselves. They lost a
game they should have won against theJets, and this Broncos loss is I'm
sorry. I feel bad for Bill'smafia people, But that was one of
(59:13):
the fucking funniest endings to it aMonday night football game I've ever seen in
my life. Like the idea thatyou played so poorly the entire game and
then you literally gonna win it byone point based off of people missing extra
points and shit. And then literallythey they get the ball, you get
past interference like an idiot twenty yardsaway from the end zone. The Broncos
(59:36):
then play like loser ball and justtry to kneel it down a bunch of
times, and then at forty yardsthey literally miss the field goal, and
you go, wow, what abunch of losers. But then there's tall
guys and it's just you sit thereand they watch you watch them count them
on TV, and you see onedude that's literally just standing in the back
(59:57):
and not even rushing anybody, likehe literally stood there. I'm like,
this guy did not even affect, but it would have been one thing maybe
like oh ah, twelve of themwere there and like everybody's trying to bock
the ball that wasn't even the play. One guy literally didn't even do anything,
so honest to god, And likewhat a meltdown? What an absolute
(01:00:19):
like kicking the like like you know, you want to talk about like a
punch in the face. That's like, if you're a Bills fan right now,
you just got drop kicked in theface. Are you just walked you
were walking out of the bar, going all right, Bills win? And
then they went, Nope, wecan't count. I don't know how the
hell you can't count. I know, no one realized that. I just
(01:00:42):
I literally don't get it. LikeI I am fascinated, And I mean,
they don't deserve to make the playoffsat this ring, straight up,
like despite all their talent, Likethey are a team that does not right
now deserve to be in the playoffpicture. They're gonna be in on hunt
regardless. But shit, man, like you're not gonna win the AFC East
(01:01:05):
at this point. The Dolphins wingames and they don't lose games like that,
You're not a good team. You'reyou're definitely not an elite team if
you do stuff like that. Soit is a rummage sale. It is
a fire sale at the Buffalo Billsif you're holding on to that super Bowl
dream, because my god, there'sjust no there's no excuse for what happened
(01:01:27):
at the end of that game.Uh, there is not. And like
I said, they're not a goodfootball team right now. They can turn
it around. They have talent enoughto do it. It just doesn't seem
like it's going to so something towant to do there in the Broncos.
I mean they're on a little bitof a role here. We'll see if
they can get going. Russell Wilson'splaying a little better, just maybe took
some time for Sean Payton. Stillnot maybe taking them as seriously as contenders
as maybe some Broncos fans will be. But that's that's all right. Let's
(01:01:51):
get to our picks for the week, seas. We're gonna start off Thursday
Night Football, the Bengals at theRavens. Ravens favored by three and a
half. Now t Higgins out forthis game, still with the hamstring injury,
but Trey Hendrickson is playing after hehad that scare late in the Texans
game. All right, well, now that it's official, if that Trey
(01:02:12):
Henderson's playing, I'm gonna say ona short week, I'm gonna pick the
Ravens at home, but I'm gonnapick the Bengals to cover. You know,
when it was four four and ahalf, I might go like I
was gonna say, if it wasfour four and a half, absolutely the
Bengals would cover it, but I'mgoing for it. I think it's gonna
(01:02:32):
be a game where we've seen thisone a lot against the Ravens and Bengals.
Ravens could very much be up byfour. They're gonna be up by
four. Literally, it's gonna befour points, almost guaranteed if the Ravens
will in this game, because theywill have scored a touchdown. The Bengals
have settled on too many drives. At the end of the game, the
Bengals will have to try to geta touchdown instead of a field goal,
(01:02:54):
and they won't be able to becauseRavens defense will shut down. I hope
that's not it happens, but ifwe're assuming the Bengals lose, I don't
think it's gonna be a blowout, especially with Drey Henderson luckily being able to
play. But it's just without THiggins, they looked not very great.
And I you know, the Ravensplay the hell out of the Bengals.
(01:03:16):
I'll give them that. They playthem hard, They played them close every
game, and I just think ona short week like this, the Bengals
are coming off a lot of alot of hard fought games weekend and week
out. I hope I'm wrong, but I got to pick the money line
with the Ravens, but I'm takingthe Bangalteo points, I'm taking the Ravens
to win and cover. I don'tthink this is an end to the Bengals
(01:03:38):
Super Bowl hopes or even playoff hops. They should say more so at this
point. I think they can winsome of these games coming up, especially
when they get healthy. But Ithink this mini buy is important. So
you play the Ravens a physical game, hopefully get out of there without any
injuries, and have extra time topray for your next game. But I
think going into this game, TreyHendrickson banged up the only person's be able
(01:03:58):
to get pressure on the pass allseason long. That's gonna be huge.
Secondary doesn't want to tackle this pastweek. What's the worst case for that?
You play a team like the Ravenswho just always as physical. The
Bengals can win, It just seemslike when they don't have all three receivers
available at the offense takes a hugestep back. They had the scripted plays
work last week and they scored thefirst touchdown and then took them a while
(01:04:19):
to get going. So that's whatscares me here. So I think Graven's
will winning cover. Don't think it'sthe end of the world for the Bengals.
And I do think having a Thursdaynight game now actually maybe helps them
long term because they need to getthings right with some extra time after that.
All right, Sunday we have theDallas Cowboys at the Carolina Panthers.
The Cowboys are favored by ten anda half seas Cowboys buy a million man,
(01:04:42):
Cowboys are winning cover. I knowCarolina has a decent defense, but
many the Dallas defense is gonna eatRice Young for lunch and they might have
seconds by the time the game's over. So yeah, Cowboys are gonna win
this game, and they're gonna winit by two scores. So two touchdowns
give me, Give it to meall day. Cowboys winning cover for me
(01:05:06):
too. The offensive line is aprotecting breastown like you said, and the
offense seems like they've got something goinghere. It's just Panthers know that they're
gonna be playing for a future years, not this year. So Cowboys winning
cover. Next one up, Steelersat the Browns. This line started at
four in favor of the Browns. It's down to one in favor of the
Browns with the Deshaun Watson injury cease, Where are you going man? Talking
(01:05:28):
about two teams that are basically badand good in the same ways I try.
I'm going to Steelers to win andcover or with I guess the upset
here, I'm in a basic pickthem. I just think the Steelers usually
beat the Browns. It's the justno matter what something happens. I think
the Steelers are better coached. Ithink that's gonna be really the edge line
(01:05:51):
is I think in the little grayareas that are gonna be the toss up
in this game. I think they'llbe able to win. I think Kenny
Pickett will be able to protect theball more than PJ. Walker is going
to be able to And I thinkwithout Nick Chubb, I think you know
this cream Hunt. You know,Jerome Ford running back Combo is going to
start getting stuffed up a little bitmore by Pittsburgh. If Pittsburgh could win
(01:06:14):
that game against the Browns earlier inthe year, I think they should win
this one sure as well. Yeah, Steelers outright for me as well.
I took that earlier in the week, but when the line was was four,
I just I feel like they're ateam that rinds out these games.
They always are a thorn in thebrown side. The Browns have offensive line
issues and what's the worst thing forthat, TJ Watt coming at you.
So with everything else, especially withOshahn Watson out, now Steelers are going
(01:06:35):
to win this one, so I'lltake them plus the points as well.
We have the Bears at the Lions. This line has moved down a little
bit. It is now Lions favoredby nine. Yeah. I think a
lot of people are worried about thewhole It's a divisional game. Justin Field
being back, I guess, andkind of getting a chance to get healthy.
(01:06:57):
I don't believe in that I'm goingthe Lions to winning cover, especially
now that it's nine points ten anda half, I get worried. But
nine it's a touchdown, a fieldgoal. It's either going to be a
game where they went by that muchor maybe it's by two points. Like
that's how these divisional games go.Air On the side that the Lions have
(01:07:18):
been rolling, They've got a lotof people that are healthy now, I
just don't think Chicago is going tohave answers for it. So Lions to
winning cover. Same thing here. They seems like they're rolling on all cylinders.
The Bears, you know, theyget Montes wining. Maybe the defense
gets a little bit better, butoverall, I just think they're just not
enough to keep up with the Lions. Here we have the Cardinals at the
(01:07:40):
Texans. The Texans are favored byfive at home. Sees, yeah,
you would have never really thought thisline. You gave me this like week
two. But yeah, I've knownthe Texans to win and cover at home.
I just like what CJ. Stroud'sdoing. I know Connor Murray came
back, but I think it's aroad game for them. I think,
(01:08:02):
I mean CJ. Stroud's on arule. That's what I'm going with here.
I think Kyer Murray played decently wellat his first game back, but
I think just the Texans are firingall cylinders right now. I think the
defense playing really well. I thinkthat'll give Kyer Murray a lot harder time
as well at the point. SoI just gotta be ald the home team
to win and cover. Same thinghere. I mean, it's it's kind
(01:08:24):
of getting to the territory where Ikind of wanted to take the Cardinals with
that, with going up to five. He started off at four. But
I think CJ. Stroud's on fire. He's proving what he can do and
the defense to make a Ryans.I mean that's I think that might be
like the underlying reason why the Bengalslost that game this past week, because
he has this, as you said, defense playing just so well. So
(01:08:44):
we'll go to Texans to win andcover. We have the Las Vegas Raiders
taking on the Miami Dolphins. Dolphinsfavorite by thirteen and a half right now,
seas holy shit, I'm gonna takthe Dolphins to win obviously, you
know what I'm gonna take. I'mgonna take the Dolphins to cover too.
(01:09:09):
Dolphins are a team that can beatup on teams that are playing super well.
They struggled, had to elite teams, but they put away bad teams.
And the Raiders are shown signs oflife at least are getting about to
have Josh Shacobs evolved. But Ithink Devin A. Chain might be coming
back as well, which would bea huge boost to them because monsters been
a little hurt as well. We'llhave Jeff Wilson's the three really good running
(01:09:31):
backs. They love running the ball. The Raiders are not good at stopping
that run, and I think Tyr, you know, they have an explosive
offense, I can score a lotof points and they're up lating the game.
I think Adol Collin's gonna have totry to force some stuff, and
I think they just will keep capitalizingand they Mike McDaniels, will keep trying
to score. And that's a hugepart for this line as well. Some
(01:09:53):
teams, you know, really don'ttry to score, start playing concernedly.
That's not Mike McDaniel's style. They'reso aggressive and I don't know if it's
necessarily running up the score. Ijust think they're really good and they just
try to keep playing their game andthe other team just gives up and they
break explosive plays because that's who theyare. Yeah, Raiders, I think
are gonna. I mean, theyplayed the Giants and Jets and Antonio Pierce's
(01:10:14):
first two games. It's good theygot the win. That's cool. They
can still beat some decent teams,I think, but the Dolphins coming off
a bye with Mike McDaniels, that'snot a decent team. That's a jokernaut.
I think they win by two touchdownsat least, and they get everything
back on track with Tua and TyreekHill, We're the New York Giants at
the Washington Commanders. It is adivisional game, but the Commanders are favored
by eight and a half. Giveme Commanders to win. Comy DeVito is
(01:10:43):
still playing yep, give me theCommanders by eight and a half. Like
it's a weird line. I don'tlove it, but I really don't.
I really just don't see the Giantsdoing anything. So they show zero sides
of the life. Yeah, Iyeah, they're gonna get crushed. It's
(01:11:04):
hard to really say that the Commandersare gonna be a team that crushes anybody,
but it's a chance in this one. Yeah, I'm going Commanders too.
I even took them, you know, to cover ten points spread earlier,
just because Tommy DeVito is just notthe answer. I feel bad for
the guy. He seems, youknow, like a good, good kid
and everything, but just throwing intoa bad situation with a bad team.
(01:11:25):
And they want a tank and getone of these quarterbacks, so they're gonna
probably do that. Soon. Wehave the Los Angeles Chargers traveling to take
on the Green Bay Packers. TheChargers are favored by three on the road.
It's sad that the Chargers are onlyfavored by that much, but they
really just don't win a lot ofgames. It's it's something. I didn't
get the touchdown much because I wenton my lion's rant. But I'm gonna
(01:11:48):
take the Charges to winn and cover. I think they should be favorited by
more. They are an interesting caseof a team with a lot of talent
that just don't win football games. It's been the whole It's been Juster Herbert's
whole career there, which is sad. But yeah, they should win this
one. The Packers aren't good. They just aren't. It's Lambeau. That
(01:12:10):
doesn't matter to me. It's notthat cold out yet. I don't see
any crazy weather that I know ofas of making this pick. So Chargers
are a much better team. Theygot Echoing, they got Keenan Allen,
they've got Justin Herbert. I thinkthey'll be able to score and win by
a touchdown. Yeah, I thinkthey're gonna win and cover too. I
think the Green Bay is gonna kindof start seeing the writing on the wall
that they're not the greatest team evenwhen they have guys coming back. So
(01:12:32):
Chargers, you know, I cansee them charging this one. But overall,
I think the talent on the rosterwins out. They win and cover.
Were the Titans at the Jaguars sees. This is a divisional game as
well, but the Jaguars are favoredby seven. You know, I'm gonna
go Jaguars to win, but I'mgonna go I'm gonna go Titans to cover.
(01:12:55):
I just think, you know,Titans have had a couple had a
bad game or two in a row, and the Jaguars are not playing well
either. I think they play itclose enough. Now is it going to
be I don't think the Titans arereally going to be winning this game,
but I think it's just going tobe a game that's slightly out of reach.
Tease this one if you're if you'rein the same line of side as
(01:13:15):
me, I'm definitely taking teasing itup to seven and a half because it
is right right at that touchdown zone. I think this game will be decided
by It could be six or sevenpoints. I just you know, it's
a no bet for me at sevenpoints, but if it goes up a
half point, I'm in about inin Vegas. So give me the Titans
to cover. But Jack should win. Same pick here. I'm taking Titans
(01:13:41):
with the points that Jaguars should win. They're at home. I think they're
rebound from that from that loss ofthe forty nine ers a little bit,
but they're still not playing well enoughfor me to be like, they're gonna
blow this team out, even ifit is the Titans. I think they
Titans are able to establish to runa little bit more. I think,
well Levis does still give them moreoffensive firepower than what Ryan Tannehill did.
So take that with the points, but I'll take the Jaguars on the one
one all right, Sunday evening games, you have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at
(01:14:03):
the San Francisco forty nine Ers.The forty nine ers, if everybody eleven
and a half, Yeah, theway they're playing well, how they played
last week, and Baker Mayfield's alittle banged up. He's not gonna as
practice or anything. But I justthink the forty nine ers are going to
start rolling a little bit here, and I think they're gonna put away Tampa
Bay decently easy. It's low high, but I think you know they're they're
(01:14:27):
getting their groove and I think theyshould be able to win and win it
by a good amount. Yeah,a couple of high spreads, but for
good reason. I think, youknow, the Buccaneers are a solid team
with forty nine ers. Now thatthey have people healthy, I think is
just totally different. So I thinkthey do win and cover, especially being
at home. They just had thebye week, They're still fresh. I
feel like they'll be good. NewYork Jets at the Buffalo Bills Bill Savery
by seven Bills to win. I'mgoing to say they cover because they should
(01:14:59):
based on on who what is onpaper. I never thought this is like,
this is a no bet spread fromme right now. It's it's too
high. It's not high enough forthe Jets, and it's not low enough
for the Bills. It's just it'sjust really again, Vegas did a good
job. I'll give them that. They did a great job. Seven is
right where this very well could be. The Bills should beat them by you
(01:15:24):
know, ten to fourteen points. But it's just their offense. You can't
trust the Bills right now. Theyare in the no trust zone. They
are in the I don't cover orwin anybody any money zone, So they
are out. Cannot trust in theJets. So when you go into a
game like this and you can't trustthe other team to do anything because you
(01:15:46):
have no idea who's going to showup. Don't bet it or you're crazy,
and you go with the Jets moneyline. Yeah, with you on
that. I got the Bills towin and the Jets with the points.
Though, like I said, it'sa good line, I don't know where
I want to go at it.I think last time we had all the
drama the first time they played withAaron Rodgers getting hurt, and the Jets
(01:16:06):
still ended up winning that game.Yes, that was at home, but
I think they'll be able to keepit close. The way that the Bills
are playing, it's still like anew offensive coordinator of the week of the
game too. Like, I don'tthink that fixes the problems either. So
I'll go Jets with the points, with the Bills to win out right.
Seattle Seahawks at the Los Angeles Rams, And right now this line is at
one point in favor of the Seahawks. There. I guess they're really taking
(01:16:30):
that game one of the season intoaccount here. I think these teams are
on two different journeys right now.I think the Rams start out hot and
really have just fizzled out a littlebit. It is a divisional game,
so it's gonna be close, sothe line is definitely correct. It's kind
of gonna be a pick them, you know, three point two, three
to two to four point game. But I'm gonna pick the Seahawks. I
(01:16:54):
think they are a better team.I think the Rams got them on the
front end. I think Pete Carrolland you know Smith will kind of be
more prepared this time for what they'regoing to throw at them. I think
the offense of the charge of theRams is a little bit more of a
known quantity right now that they canaddress. Yeah, I thought about Rams
coming off that buy just you know, I feel like that's Sean McVay can
(01:17:18):
get something going. But I'm goingto see Hawks to win and cover.
I think, like you said, they know what's coming now from the Rams.
They have some guys they're getting thingsgoing. Kenneth Walker's fine, Jackson
Smith and Jagkwick keeps on getting moreinvolved in the offense. The defense has
some really nice pieces, and LeonardWilliams is joining them obviously. So I'll
guess Seahawks to winning cover Sunday Football. I would have said a couple weeks
(01:17:40):
ago that they're crazy for having thisone is a Sunday night game. But
now things are different. We havethe Vikings at the Denver Broncos, and
the Broncos are favored by two anda half at home. Give me the
Vikings to win. Like I saidearlier, I think Josh Stupps just will
play hard. They keep trying tofind ways to win, and they keep
scoring points. The Broncos they've hadvery flukey wins, like they're winning against
(01:18:05):
Pat Mahomes who probably was so sickhe probably shouldn't have suited up the way
he was actually playing. And thenyou have this Bills game that's just an
absolute, just shit show. I'llgive the Vikings may not have the most
talent, but Kevin O'Connell knows howto put together a game plan on offense
(01:18:27):
it's for and produce points. AndI think that's something that Broncos have been
able to capitalize on teams that arejust not really good at game plan right
now, they're just trying to makesomething happen. I think that's where they
really taken advantage as of defense amongpeople. When people have a solid plan
to beat them, they don't reallyhave a way to respond to it,
Like they don't have an answer towhat a team is better than them or
(01:18:51):
can scheme better than they can.And I think Kevin O'Connor will be able
to do that. That's why I'mpicking the Vikings outright. I'm picking the
Vikings out right because a Higer byCreed. So that's all it takes is
Josh Sapps is playing well. Don'tbelieve in the Broncos, but mostly higher
by Creed. Eagles and Chiefs. The Monday night game we've been waiting for
(01:19:11):
seas the Super Bowl rematch. TheChiefs are favored by three at home.
Right now, I'm gonna I've beenthinking about this one a lot. I'm
gonna go. I'm gonna go Eagleshere. I think they went out right
in Arrowhead. My reasoning here is, I just think that the Chiefs have
(01:19:35):
less of offense they did last year. I know their defense is stepped up,
but I think A. J.Brown's been on fire. I think
it's just trends on the Eagles teamthat have been really good for them,
and I just the Chiefs of theChiefs aren't like this world beater team right
now, and I don't even feellike they pour it on like that at
(01:19:57):
this point. It's gonna be agood game, but it's such a you
know, I just I have afeeling about the Eagles in this one.
I think they get their revenge.I'm going with the Chiefs. Both teams
coming off of buy here, sono real competitive advantage there, but I
think they should be able to winand cover in this game. The Eagles
have one games, but they've lookedugly doing it, like they they've turned
(01:20:18):
the ball over. I don't knowif I trust them to just fix all
those turnover issues already just right away. I'll believe in the Chiefs defense.
I believe Patrick Mahomes with especially offof bye week, maybe it gets a
chance to work with those receivers more, get things going. I'll take Chiefs,
Chiefs to win and cover, allright. See any final thoughts for
the week. No, I'm excitedfor this Thursday night game. I'm hoping
(01:20:41):
we're wrong. But other than that, you know, back to the States
to watch a nice NFL Sunday ticketsSunday dying with the boys, and there's
nothing better than that, nothing betterthan that, my turner, mind,
