(00:00):
Hello, and welcome to the thirdand the Don Football Show. I'm Joe
with Mia cecil As always here torecap the week eleven games and preview the
week twelve games. It was alittle bit of a rough week for us
as Bengals fans sees. But otherthan that, how are you doing.
Yeah, I'm still in mourning, but you know, you know, I'd
kind of gone through the stages ofbrief and I just I think I do

(00:23):
acceptance. But yeah, other thanthat, I'm doing great. Thanksgiving week
absolutely a lot to look forward to, a lot to be thankful for,
and for the Bengals that might begetting a higher pick in the draft,
and you know, having a betterseason next year. Let's get right into
it. I mean, that's thefirst game we're going to recap anyway.
So we have the Baltimore Ravens beatingthe Cincinnti Bengals thirty four to twenty.

(00:44):
The story of the game, obviously, there was some compression sleeve on Joe
Burrow's wrist. Apparently that's part ofthe routine, but definitely raised some questions.
And then he goes into the game, gets landed on by Jamian Clowney,
and his hand blows up and hecan'ker up the football. And at
that point it looked like the Bengalskind of after he went out of the
game, they kind of gave up. They knew the game was over.

(01:04):
No one on the defense was tackling. Jordan Battle, who just entered the
starting lineup, led the team withlike twelve tackles. You know, it
stakes for the Bengals' it's the sameas Peyton Manning years with the Colts.
When you're starting quarterback goes down, you're screwed. It's over. Get ready
for next year. For them andfor the Ravens, I mean, they
get the win here. We'll justnever know what could have happened if Burrows

(01:25):
stay healthy, because it looked likethey had something cooking there. Yeah,
it's just it's been a theme throughoutthe NFL. There's been a lot of
quarterback injuries. And not just minorones. We're talking like guys are just
out for the season. There's justbeen a ton of injuries. It sucks.
I mean, everybody in the NFL, nobody wants to see it.
It just makes everything feel a littleless exciting. Joe Burrows, you know,

(01:49):
he's a top three quarterback, toptwo to me, and top five
universally around pretty much analysts will tellyou that. So, I mean,
him going out is a huge ramificationon probably the entire rest of the season
for the playoff pictures, because Idon't think the Bengals are gonna make the
playoffs now. I honestly hope Bigdon't because it'll be worth nothing because Jake

(02:14):
Brownie or if they sign on QBis not gonna be able to lead them
deep in the playoffs. With someof the other teams that have been playing
poorly, like Bills at times, you know, the Ravens, they get
Mark Andrews goes out in this game, he's gonna be out for a while.
He may be back for the playoffs. It's looking more and more like
it's just it's gonna be like theChiefs by default, unless the Dolphins really

(02:38):
step up their game or something ofthat nature, or some team the AFC
or Aaron Rodgers is magically healthy.Like it just it just makes the NFL
a lot less fun because now itjust seems like the AFC is kind of
already all set in stone, whichreally sucks. But I mean, overall,
yeah, I mean it's hard toreally analyze this game with Joe Burrow
going down. You know, it'swe never know it's gonna happen. I

(03:01):
just hope he makes a speedy recovery. Say, it shouldn't be anything lingering.
You know, he gets the surgery, he recovers, he should have
hopefully just a normal offseason. Thatbeing said, you know it's I mean,
it sucks with the Mangels, it'stough. You know, you could
say they could invest in Morna abackup quarterback, but what you said,
just like with Peyton Manning, PeytonManning went down, Like who the hell

(03:23):
is your replacement gonna be? Like, honestly, if your team's built around
your quarterback, which it should be, when you have a quarterback, you
know, at this talent level, what are you trying to compete for?
I on it. You know, maybe you can call it, you know,
wanting the tank sucks and you knowyou're a bad fan. I mean,
do I want the Bengals to wingames, yes, or roof four

(03:45):
in games, But it's as aperson who just knows how the wheel of
the NFL works. Your quarterback goesdown, you know, like the Tony
Romo year with Boys and they wereable to get the fourth or roll until
Ezekiel Elliott. Stuff happens like that, and when you have a team with
franchise quarterback like that, especially goingto have to pay if the injury happens
like that. Getting the high draftpick can really help propel your team to

(04:09):
the next couple of years, becauseit's gonna be tough when you're picking the
end of the first round every yearto try to keep getting talent and developing
it to pretty much help your teamimmediately because you're always in the playoff one.
So it stinks. There are somesilver linings, you know. I
think time to evaluate a lot ofstand a lot of the talent on the
team. You know, what isthis defense really made of at this point?

(04:32):
Are the young guys going to stepup? Is the secondary going to
take a step forward? Because Imean, if the defense keeps playing like
they have over the last two weeks, un Romo is not going to be
a head coach somewhere. That's justa guarantee right there. That defense needs
to step up if they really wantto be something. You know, and
Lou wants to ever get out ofCincinnati, He's he's gonna have to put

(04:55):
together a better defense, and whatthey see obviously grain of salt. With
everything that's happened, the defense hasn'tbeen as good Joe Burrow was banged up
anyway. You know, it justsucks because of what it could have been.
But at the same time, Idon't know, is it better to
get your heart stamped out now orstamped out in like the division round of
the playoffs? You tell me,But the Ravens are pretty much gonna win

(05:17):
the See North now in my mind, barring something crazy happening. No omar,
Yeah, I currently have the numberone seed in the AFC as other
results have kind of gone their waythis past week. So that's good for
the Ravens and for the Bengals. You right, seas like the Bengals are
getting these ends of the first rounddraft picks in whatever way that Some are
playing well, like Cam Taylor Brittplayed solidly last year. He's playing very

(05:40):
good this year for him, buttheir end of the first round picks.
Dax Hill didn't produce his first year, Miles Murphy didn't His not producing is
his first year this year. Maybehaving a higher draft pick any year where
it's likely going to be used onthe offense because we have Jena Williams as
a free agent. We have tHiggins with an uncertain future. Might be
maybe he gets franchise tagged. Youcan use that on one of the many

(06:01):
good wide receivers or offensive tackles thisyear. That means something. Getting a
last play schedule does mean something fornext year because we're talking about the gauntlet
of the schedule and all the nextcouple of games are all five hundred teams.
That's not going to be the casenext year if you get that fourth
place schedule, unless the league flipson its head kind of like it has
this year a little bit. ButI think it might be a good thing
to reset. They are screwed. They are the Peyton Manning colts where if

(06:23):
you're starting quarterback it's hurt. Sorry, Jim Sorgie, you're not getting reps
during the week. We need allthose reps to go to Payton Manning slash
Joe Burrow and hopefully they figure itout. Hopefully they can, they can
move forward. And again, justone final thought here, I still think
this ish injury. Outside of thisinjury, it's okay. Like you said,
they're kind of screwed either way,but I wish they would have put

(06:44):
more into this team leading into theseason. They had cap space to sign
people that could have had another passrusher, a rotational pass rusher on a
one year deal. Javian Clowney hasten million dollar deal with the Ravens.
Right now, we have thirteen milliondollars in cap space. You know,
we could have gotten more depth onthe offense of line or a left guard
we could have We could have gottenmore secondary help, that is veterans.
You don't need to have guys whoare necessarily starting. But I would have

(07:06):
liked to see the team go moreall in when they have a chance because
the Super Bowl window, partially dueto burrows injuries, but also partially doing
just rookie contracts is starting to closedown a little bit, and you want
them to make the most of whatthey have. Hopefully they figure it out,
use a lot of their cop room, you know, kind of find
a way to get some people whowant to win championships and get them in

(07:26):
the lineup, because that will bethe best case scenario for the future.
All Right, We'll move on toSunday games. We have the Cowboys beating
the Panthers thirty three to ten.Seees. I got nothing on this one.
The Cowboys are rolling. They looklike one of the best teams in
the league that it seems like comingout of the Buys the last couple of
week really helped them. Think they'resame thing for us, though, I
feel like for me, it's like, prove it to me, he gets
one of the top teams in theNFC, and then we can start talking.

(07:49):
But for right now, I stillthink they're the third best team in
the NFC, behind the forty nineers and the Eagles, but the Lions
being right there in that Cowboys range. Two. Yeah, they're basically the
Dolphins of the NFC. It feelslike, I mean, they're just they'll
beat the heck out of a youknow, five hundred or the worst team
and they and they did that greatand I mean, that's that's good.

(08:09):
It's good to see since the byeway, Dak kind of come alive, be
able to do more with the football, you know, and really pass it
downfield. Ceedee Lamb's been playing reallywell, not that he went and Tony
Pollard finally got back in the endzone this week after I think he's last
time he scored was Week one.I I think that was it. So

(08:31):
I've lost a couple of bets becauseTony Pollard hasn't gotten the end zone over
the last you know, ten orso week So I think I'm right.
But ultimately, you know, theCowboys, it's a win. They're rolling.
They're gonna have another pose that's goingto be coming up. They just
got to make sure they keep takingcare of business when they do face the

(08:52):
Eagles, because the Eagles doesn't looklike they're gonna lose many more games.
If any decides that one, they'regonna have to stay right into with.
But they want to have a shotto win won that division, and more
importantly, they win that division, there's a chance, depending on how the
forty nine ers do as well lostthree straight, they can win the number
one seat. That's really the marginright now. You know, you have
the Lions out there as well asthe forty nine, but there's a chance

(09:15):
they could flip up with the Eaglesand get the tiebreaker over them. They
could get the number one seed, which is crazy as but every game is
good to see their offense get backtogether. I mean the Panthers, I
mean Deron Bland shout out to him. I mean, another pick six ties
to the league record. I thinkhe's a good chance of breaking it,
knock on wood. And then Imean CJ. Stroud just continues to struggle

(09:39):
throw interceptions he shouldn't. Then,I mean it's painful to watch the Panthers,
to be honest. I mean AdamFeeling was great, but he was
never a fast receiver. Now he'sjust he's slow man, and watching him
and going this is your outside receiveris a rough go of it. And
it's hard to really blame him, rookie quarterback for forcing things and struggling when

(10:01):
your offense looks like that, Yeah, we're gonna you know, Cecily has
lack of sleep, so he didcall Bryce strong CJ. Stroud. Cecil's
one of the original Stroud boys withme too, so it's not like he
doesn't know what he's talking about. He's a Stroud boy. But yeah,
Panthers definitely need to fix some thingscowboys. Like the note you said about
dron Blant. I hope he breaksthe record. It's just cool. He
was not projected to be a guythat was playing this much for this team.

(10:22):
They have Stevon Gilmore. They haveto Ron Diggs and obviously they played
him in the slot a little bittoo, but he's he stuffed it up.
So awesome, awesome story for theCowboys and excited to see what they
can do in the next couple ofweeks. Here the Browns beat the Steelers
thirteen to ten and one of theworst games of all time. Dorian Thompson
Robinson started for the Browns and didnot look the greatest like you look.

(10:43):
Think he had some potential still, but still very raw, so kind of
wondering why they're going with him insteadof, you know, picking up someone
else or starting someone else. TheSteelers lose this game. Their best player
was Jalen Warren and he popped offa big run. They gave him a
hundred and twenty nine yards and atouchdown in this game. That was the
only offense and the Browns defense deservessome credit for that. And the Browns
are seven to three. They're ina good spot to make the playoffs.

(11:05):
We just have to see how dtrstands out the rest of the way.
And the Steelers after this game finallyfired Mac Canada, So now we're really
going to know is this Kenny Pickett'sfault? Is it Mack Canada's fault?
If you're asking me Cees, Iwould say Kenny Picketts of below average quarterback
and Matt Canada was a bad offensivecoordinator. So it might be a little
bit of both. Yeah. Noone goes on skate for this offense this

(11:26):
year. I mean Mike Toalman maybenot an offensive guy, but good lord,
I mean the staff he put togetheron that side of the ball has
not produced anything near an average result. So what honestly, because there's been
some stuff. You know, TomBrady had some comments this week about how
football's NFL has been kind of mediocre, and I mean, you look at
this division. You know, we'regoing in that Thursday night game and people

(11:50):
were talking about man Acy, No, it's the best division. Everyone has
a winning record, you know, all that stuff. But the reality is,
I mean, now, especially JoeBurrow down, we had a bunch
of teams that don't have offenses straightup, they just they don't. They
have good defenses. You know, the Bengals had a better, you know,
an offense and a decent defense. But now I mean we're looking at
teams with with good to decent defensesand just lack of offense completely now so

(12:18):
and and that's one of the bestdivisions in football, and that's that's pretty
sad because I mean you go aroundthe rest of the AFC, for example,
I mean it's just a mess. You know, you got the Dolphins
and building the East, and thenthe Southea, the Texans surging with the
Jaguars, and then it's just noand the Chargers you look at them in
the West are just an absolute dumpsterfire. So it's a weird. Just

(12:41):
it's not that there's not town inthe league. It's just the guys just
aren't producing and they're not, youknow, putting points on the board like
they feel like they used to.You know, there's always recentcy bias as
well, but it's it's been aweird, uh, a weird go so
far between the injuries and just itseems like teams that should be good are
just playing just pretty bad. Yeah, definitely, I'm interested to see how

(13:05):
this AFC playoff picture works out.And you kind of mentioned it cease,
but like the Bills aren't very good. Do we get a Browns playoff game?
I don't want to watch that.I really don't. Do we get
a Steelers playoff game. I don'twant to watch that either, So hopefully
things get figured out here in thelast couple of weeks. It's still a
lot of time before the playoffs. We still have, you know, a

(13:26):
month and a half of football beforewe get to the playoffs. But it's
again, very boring game. Andit's not like a good like the defense
for the Browns was good. It'snot like this was like an elite defense
game where everyone's things getting a shutdown. It's just bad when you see
the bad offense for the Browns.Obviously, the quarterback situation plays a factor
for the Steelers quarterback and if it'sa coordinator in I am interested to see
how things go for that moving forwardand see if that changes because Matt Canada

(13:48):
did not use the middle of thefield a lot, and I you know,
like that's Kenny Pickett doesn't have thestrongest arm to be throwing outside the
numbers a lot. So we'll seehow things change. It's gonna be a
lot of different changes over the lastseveral weeks of the season with all these
injuries. All right, So thenext game we have Detroit Lions beat the
Bears thirty one to twenty six.Now they had to come back in this
one cease it was I mean theBears, I thought I had this game

(14:09):
pretty much one. They just neededto get like a first down on offense.
They were unable to do so.And the Lions come back. I
think they needed a lot of creditfor Justin Fields coming back and rushing for
one hundred and four yards. They'refinally starting to use him like he should
be used with eighteen carries on theday, and it worked out. I
mean, they used to be werecompetitive in this game, at least against
a team that's one of the bestin the NFC that we just talked about.

(14:30):
And for the Lions, Jared Goffnumber one PFF quarterback this year,
you know, just the same thinghe's always been doing. He has one
good game or maybe two good games, and then he has a stinker and
he has three interceptions. But atthe end of the day he let him
on the touchdown drive to win thegame. I think that's something to note
of why maybe the Lions ceiling isn'tlike NFC Championship game level, but it's

(14:50):
a fun team still. It's justthat they might need to have Jared Goff
prove that he can do it againlike he did back with the Rams,
which is obviously a different situation. So yeah, this Lions team, with
the weapons they have an offense anddefense is really stepped up this year as
while I mean it lies solely onJared Goff. And you know, I'll
tell you this. You know, with good teams, you know, we

(15:11):
go are they real? Are theyfrauds? You know, the Lions,
I'll give them this. You know, there are weeks, it's a long
season, it's an occisional game, and they came out flat and they were
getting beat up for most of thegame. But good teams will be able
to pull it together by the endand get a win. And that's what
they did. And as much asyou know, you could use this,

(15:33):
you know, they almost lost theBears against them. You know, at
this point in the season, there'sgonna be some fluky things that happen just
because people are, you know, tired, they're looking forward to the next
game. You know, that's abigger rivalry or bigger thing for them,
and you know, hats off ofthem to not just let the games slip
by them, because they're teams outthere that have good talent that you know,

(15:54):
are favored in a game to start, and then they get the you
know, Wheels beat off them andthat they just and they just kind of
go into the field position and letthe other team win. The Lions continue
to fight. It wasn't pretty byany means, but like you said,
Derek Goff was able to get thegame winning drive at the end. Now
you won't be able to get ahold like that in the playoffs probably,
But yeah, I mean, Lionsget the win and they come from behind

(16:18):
to do it after having a nazso stellar beginning. They're one of the
healthiest teams in the NFL right now, so they have that going for him
for a playoff run. It's just, again, it's hard to really say
these guys are going to the superBowl because it really is just it's hard
to say they're golf with anything.I mean, he is jack going hyde.
He's inconsistent, and I think hehas all the talent to do it.

(16:41):
It's not a talent factor, it'sjust he makes poor decisions and sometimes
he just is not willing to takethe hint in the pocket. I don't
know, that's you know, afair thing. You know, you're not
willing to get hit out there. But there are way too many times that
I see him in the backfield wherethere's a lot of guys coming at him,
but he doesn't try to really rollout, He doesn't really try to

(17:02):
do anything. Kind of is up. It's like, you know, at
least try to throw it away,do something. It just you know,
it just looks really bad when youwatch it on TV and you watch him
just kind of all that play doesn'twork and he is basically falling to the
ground and just not trying to reallydo much anything. But this team's gonna
go as far as Jared Goff, and I'm that's far for their sakes because

(17:26):
I think Dan Campbell and I thinkthe GM of the Lions, I think
coaching staff has worked really hard.I think all the players have too to
get to this point despite everything thathas gone wrong big for pretty much since
the Dog seems like the modern NFL. So I mean, I want them
to do well. I hope forthe best, and you know, I
hope it's not Jared Goff having justthis off to interception game where he just

(17:48):
forces dumb passes that cost them anearly exit in the playoffs. Yeah,
in a weird way. It's itkind of shows the differences in the two
leagues here because I think if theLions are in the AFC, it's a
different ballgame because the top teams inthe AFC struggle with pass rushing. Right,
Like, the Chiefs have a betterdefense with the pass rush still isn't
the greatest. The Bills don't havethe greatest pass rush, even you know

(18:10):
Von Miller's being back and everything. The Bengals have struggle with pass rush.
I know this is the preseason favoritesand things change. But NFC, if
you have to get through the NFCplayoffs and Jared Goff has some issues with
pressure or are moving out of thepocket, they're going up against the Eagles,
the forty nine Ers, and theCowboys who will have great pass rushes.
So it might be like, hey, AFC, maybe they get to
THENFC Championship game this year, becausethat's just how the league set up.

(18:32):
NFC, it's a lot different ofa ball game, a lot of different
leagues. It's almost like the old, you know, baseball days, where
there's different rules for different leagues andyou have to play the All Star game
in the world series to figure outwho's better. It's just one of those
things. So I wish the Lionsthe best of luck moving forward. You
know, I think we were abig Dan Campbell podcast here and hope they
can figure it out. But they'llneed They definitely need to figure something out

(18:52):
and have more stability, whether that'sjust making sure Jared Goff's protected or making
sure he's making the right decisions orboth. So we'll have to keep chap
tabs on that moving forward. Infor the Bears, you know, if
you're gonna have a lot of picksto use, that'll be fun, all
right. Packers beat the Chargers twentythree to twenty. Jordan Love plays pretty
good three hundred twenty two yards andtwo touchdowns. Very good for him to

(19:12):
get back on the right track. The GM had been kind of noncommittal about
his future, which is kind ofweird because they just turned the whole thing
over to him less than I guessthis is ten games in, but the
comments were made a couple weeks ago. I will say Brandon Staley's gone on
the hot seat right now after losingthis game. It's a game they probably
should have won. Their favorite onthe road Justin Herbert I thought played well.

(19:34):
I think people are maybe overblowing thechoke thing because he had so many
drops. Cease, we were watchingwhen Quinton Johnson dropped the one down the
sideline and some people are saying,oh, he put it a little bit
too far out there. Do youknow how hard it is to throw a
football with that precision to get iteven where the guy has to reach out
his hands like this before the camera. That's so fricking tough. So I
do think Justin Everett needs to proveit in the future. But like a

(19:57):
lot of times, he's being letdown to and if you start with the
head coach maybe having struggles over hiscareer with these one possession games where they
are zero to five this year, you know, it's not always on the
quarterback. I do think he needsto play better. But at the same
time, he played fine in thisgame and they scored just twenty points and
lost to the freaking Packers on theroad. Yeah, I mean, there

(20:18):
are a lot of drops in thisgame. They were all over the place.
Herbert didn't have a fantastic game, but it wasn't you know, Justin
Herbert didn't lose in this game.Their defense awes in this game they're going
up against short love and the Packers'offense that honest to god. I mean,
Aaron Jones is the best part, and he's been unhealthy all year and

(20:38):
then he goes, you know, sprains his MCL and gets card off the
field. Basically, you can't beatthat. You can't beat like the random
young receivers Romeo Doms and Kristen Watsonwho have done absolutely nothing this year.
I mean, it's just it's RandonSaley should already beat fire. It's just
really that simple. I don't knowwhat else ownership needs to see. There

(21:03):
really isn't anything. There's nothing tellingme the Chargers are gonna turn the season
around. I think this is it. I think it's a little too late.
You know, maybe they're gonna haveto pretty much win almost every game
to really make the playoffs at thispoint, because they're not going to win
the West, and the wild cardsare not going to be that easy to
get through, especially with head starteverybody else has on them. Maybe justin

(21:26):
Herbert gets fully healthy, you know, his non throwing hand heels up more
so he doesn't have to wear thatstupid brace on his hand. But I
mean, the problems aren't just inHerbert not being able to get passes.
It's receivers can't catch balls. AustinEckler really didn't get going in this game,
which is just weird considering the Packersare not a good defense at all.

(21:47):
And then you know the defense,I mean, Joey Bosa got hurt
shirt. I mean, everyone elseon the defense is just doing nothing right
now. They're just doing a wholelot of nothing against a team who really
is not tough to be. Theyjust packed it in and Justin Herbert tried
to do his best, you know, come behind fourth quarter Joe Montana impersonation,
and you know he doesn't have JerryRice catching the ball, so it

(22:10):
makes it hard. Absolutely. Seeyou mentioned Austin Eckler. We were watching
that game too. We saw AustinEckler get chase down him from behind by
a linebacker. He looked like hewas moving at such a slow pace.
He's maybe just not the same thingwas, but it really couldn't get a
going against this defense, and againit all hurt. And I expect in
the next couple of weeks we mightsee a coaching change if they get eliminated

(22:30):
from the playoffs if they lose oneor two more games. It's just the
guy started off so hot and thenit went down south so quickly last year
and then even this year that it'sgonna be hard to get that back.
And a lot of times you needto make these moves. Mentioning in a
conversation with one of my buddies, like, next year, you know,
Zach Taylor doesn't go past the divisionalround, maybe the Bengals need to make
a move because the super Bowl windowis only so wide. Especially, Chargers

(22:52):
are in a similar situation in thatthey have a rookie quarterback deal right now
and they're paying him more in thefuture, after this year, after the
NextUp two years, I should say, but like you need to make sure
you maximize the playoff win to maximizewhen you have these guys and they're in
a different situation where they're ready tofire their guy, and the Bengals might
have that in the future. It'sjust a similar type of thing. So
hopefully another big question with the Charge, Yeah, what is the weather here?

(23:18):
Is it? Just because I mean, they're all professionals, right,
you think at this point these guyshave played at different places throughout their careers.
You know, it wasn't that coldenGreen Bay, but it's windysable.
I mean, are these guys justnot built for it? Like, is
it something you think that the Chargersneed to figure out to address somehow,
because I mean, I don't knowwhat it is, but you know that

(23:41):
worries me too that this team seemsto every year it starts to get a
little colder. Ever since Philip Riversbasically left and this team just starts to
kind of plummet. And I meanthere's no word on it from this time,
but I mean, I I don'tknow. We got to keep these
guys in Iowa for you know, the last twos you know, we you
know, two months of the seasonjust comping them up or I don't know,

(24:03):
but you know, it seems likethey go to these cold climbates and
it just the defense just doesn't wakeup. They just get crushed. I'm
with you. I think it mightbe that. But also I think with
the colder weather seats, we alwaystalk about the running game. They I
mean, the obviously run the ballokay with Austin Eckler over the last several
years, but they can't stop therun, and they refuse to really put

(24:25):
too much effort into finding guys whocan't stop the run. Every year,
in our mock drafts that we doand everything you know a draft specials,
we always talk about, let's geta defensive tackle that can plug the run,
let's get a nose tackle, let'sget a linebacker who can chase down
running backs, and they just neverdo. And it's when you know,
the going gets tough at the endof the year. You need to be
able to stop the run. Theyjust don't want to do that. So
it kind of doing things self inflictingwounds here with the way they run their

(24:48):
organization too. All right, thenext one up, we have the Dolphins
beating the Raiders twenty to thirteen. This was one where we were both heavily
leveraged on Devin Hn playing in thisgame. He was and runs like three
times and gets hurt again. Hopingfor the best. It seems like he's
questionable this week so far. Itwas the same injury that he had that

(25:08):
will put him on ir that hejust came back from. Terry Hill had
a big day two ahead, apretty good day, did hit their own
interception the Dolphins won. They easedtheir way to win. They went up
early and didn't have to do toomuch in the second half. And the
Raiders they're just limited with what theycan do with Aidan O'Connell a quarterback,
and they're fighting hard with Antonio Pearcein his head coach these last several weeks,

(25:30):
and it's good for them that theykept it within a touchdown. They're
just even if things got tough,I feel like the Dolphins would have just
hit the gas pedal more. Theywould have won either way. So good
win for the Dolphins, just toyou know, make sure they get to
win there. But for the Raiders, it's you know, good fight,
good fight, good try, right. I mean, h going out after
like two minutes hurts immenseally. Andyou can get Twitter and just google it

(25:52):
and just twitter his name or xO. Just search it on x I
guess and you'll see a lot ofpeople beggings for books all over the nation
to avoid their bets. Good luckwith that. You should know that any
time you put a player prop inplayer props can be easier to hit,
yes, but the reality too,and they advantage that Vegas has over you

(26:14):
is that especially in the NFL,of all sports, people get hurt all
the time for no reason, especiallyat running back, So you gotta know
that going in. That's what I'mback to the house on it. You
just you just bet and you havea good time, and you hope you
win, and you hope that youknow a guy sitting on ir and designed

(26:34):
to return and then you deactivate yourrunning back Jeff Wilson, you think maybe
he's more than you know, sixtypercent healthy. So it's okay, I'm
not mad about it. It wouldn'thave hit anyway because Monster didn't really get
much going either. I mean,I'll give it to the rate they really
did. They lost, but theyimpressed me in how they lost, because

(26:59):
you know, this Rares team threeweeks ago, they would have lost by
probably, you know, twenty one, twenty to thirty points. This package,
DeVante Adams actually gets involved in thegame, so as Josh Jacobs to
a certain point, not as muchin this one, but I mean they're
getting the ball. Michael maher isstarting to get a little bit of a
role in this offense, which isgreat for them. But yeah, I

(27:21):
mean, give it to the interimhead coach. Give it to the Raiders
to show some fight, and younever know, that fight could cause them
to win a game they probably shouldn'tagainst a playoff team. It could have
huge ramifications at the end of theseason. So you know, don't I
mean, the Raiders are not goingto make the playoffs obviously, but watch
out for them. You know, they're a team that's fighting, and a
team that's showing fight for an interimhead coach can be dangerous down the stretch,

(27:44):
especially when it's you're tired after along season and somebody overlooks them.
You know, they come to playand that's important. So the last time
the Raiders had an interim coach, they played hard down the stretch, made
the playoffs, they got rid ofthe interim coach, and then they hired
you know, they hired McDaniels andthat didn't really work out. So my
thing is, hey, if AntoniaPiercero finishes up the season pretty strong,

(28:07):
maybe they're round five hundred. Witheverything that's gone on the quarterback chain starting
aid to O'Connell, give him alook to day please, Like this has
been they're not doing great football. They don't have the pieces to do that.
They're not scoring a lot of pointsevery game. The defense is playing
better. I think he understands howto get the most out of what he
has been given. Just give hima look, you know, just see
what he does. Don't just golike, hey, let's go hire Josh

(28:29):
McDaniels for the third time, orlet's go hire I don't know, freakin'
it's Charlie Weis. Let's give CharlieWes another run. Let's not give these
guys that have been over and donewith another chance, and we'll give a
guy that's actually done something right therein front of you. So my only
thing I'll say. And the dolphensewe're saying, putt spot with them.
I think we were before. Beata good team, prove it to us
first, But all these other teamswill. They'll win those games and be
fine. Next one up, wehave the Giants beating the Commanders thirty one

(28:53):
to nineteen. The Giants get theseason sweep over the Commanders. They have
three wins on the season them overthe Commanders. The Tommy DeVito train is
leaving the station. He had playa couple of bad games in a row
where they weren't even letting him throw. They let him throw it around the
yard a little bit. This game. He showed out pretty good. The
Commanders, on the other hand,we know that at some point trading away

(29:14):
those players would get maybe maybe havean effect. They actually pressure the quarterbacks
still pretty well. Sam hop actuallypressure the quarterback pretty well. Tommy de
Vito I think got sacked like ninetimes in this game off the double check
that stat Sam Howe through three interceptionsthat really did something. And after the
game they had Deontay Banks, thecorner that was drafted by the Giants who's
from the Maryland area, and wentto Maryland and say, man, you

(29:37):
guys could have had me. Youtook, you know, without saying it
implied, hey, you guys tookEmmanuel Forbes and said of me, and
now we've beaten you twice. SoI love the trash talk from two teams
who were out of the playoff pictureand all that. But you know,
two bad teams. But it wascool to see Tommy DeVito do something in
this one seas. It was funto watch time. You know, I
could probably save his career just thatgame, honestly, because it wasn't looking

(30:00):
great up to that point. ButI mean, this is what we talked
about with the Commanders. They canlook good at times, they honestly isn't.
If it's the Philadelphia Eagles, they'llprobably be nine to eighth this year,
but they play other teams, andthe Giants, adversely, they cannot
be They're they're jecking high team.I mean, I think it's the riding

(30:23):
him the wall for the coaching staff. I think Ron Rivera realizes he's a
lame duck coach. Doesn't really matterhe is. He's not coming back new
ownership. It's not like they've been. Honestly, Ron Rivera unfortunately, as
much as the diversity he's had personally, you know, outside of football,
you know, overcoming cancer all that, it's a great story, but when

(30:44):
he comes to his tenure as Commander'shead coach, they have done nothing.
They've accomplished. Really, it's andit's a sad, sad place to be.
You know, he had a goodtime with the Panthers, you know,
at his peak, with Canut andeverything. But since that point,
you know, some coaches have ortunatelyjust don't have it and don't keep and
can't keep up with the way theleague is moving. And Ron Rivera isn't

(31:06):
a bad coach by any means. But I think it's just it wasn't the
right situation. You know, they'venever had a quarterback either, which you
know that's that's hard to really orit's more of a front office problem,
and yeah, it's just it's neverbeen a good situation. Hasn't been a
good situation honestly for the Commanders sinceRG three got hurt and they decided that

(31:29):
they weren't going to go back tohim, and Kirk Cousins was going to
be their middling quarterback from that pointforward. So question marks a bond.
What this organization is doing, whattheir goal for the future is all,
as you can hope, is newleadership, especially with a lot of you
know, new money that can investin the team and more importantly just the
facilities around the actual team itself tomake them better. You know, maybe

(31:52):
the future looks up for the Commers. It's just unfortunate for all the players
and coaches that kind of spent thelast five years there to know that they're
never gonna probably see any of that. Unfortunately. You're right. The best
thing about these teams is that theycan reset this offseason. They can go
draft someone better at quarterback or whateverthey need to have plans for from the

(32:13):
Giants, you're gonna be paying aforty million dollars quarterback sit on the bench
at this rate with the way thingsare going. But we'll see, We'll
see what happens. Maybe Tommy Vidobecomes the new Tom Brady or something that'd
be kind of fun, all right. Jaguars beat the Titans thirty four to
fourteen blowout. Pretty much from thestart. Trevor Lawrence seemed like he had
a better game. Calvin Ridley hadan incredible game one hundred three yards and

(32:35):
two touchdowns out of nowhere. There'sa lot of stats that you can see.
When Zay Jones plays, Caylvin Ridleyhas a better game. I guess
because attention is being shown to morereceivers across the board. Titans, we
kind of knew what they were comingin. They can't get anything going on
the ground for Derrick Henry. Theoffensive line has issues. Jaguars needed to
get back on track after that bigloss of the forty nine ers, and
now they are in contention for thatnumber one seed in the AFC two season.

(32:59):
Yeah, I mean the Jaguars, they fired back after some a string
of very uh killing games. Soit's good. I mean, they beat
the Bills already. The Bengals aren'tfair. It's really hard to say.
You know, the Ravens, Imean Jaguars said pretty much, I'll play
it this way. The Jaguars havejust as much a chance of playing the

(33:19):
Chiefs as anybody else in the AFCdoes. That's really how it shake it
out, is that for a potentialSuper Bowl run. It's hard to say.
You know, it's hard to trustteams that are inconsistent. But you
know, there's one thing I couldsay about the AOC this year. It
is inconsistency. So really, youknow, I don't know how the Chiefs

(33:40):
bounce back and how they play downthe stress that might throw them in the
same hat and just shake pick aname out of the seven who make the
playoffs and just buddy and super Bowlcontender. So that's really where we're at
with I mean Titans team that justsucked mostly years and then they have one

(34:00):
or two games actually played really well. And those games they played really well.
And guess what the key thing hasbeen. It can't be Will Levis
because they played more well even withoutWill Levis before what's the key, Joe
running the football. Probably that's it. Derrick Henry is still on that team,

(34:20):
despite you know, the Titans youknow best attempts to just basically pretend
Derek Henry doesn't exist for halves ofgames. Sometimes he is still there.
He's not hurt to any you knowany in your report, there's nothing saying
that he's not. I don't knowwhen he would have gotten hurt because he's
to be there on the field forthe Titans, and yeah, I they're

(34:42):
doing with him. I get theirsituation as much, but Jesus, it's
the first quarter and Derrick Henry barelyever sees the field. If you have
Derry, if that's what you're gonnado, please get Please trade him to
somebody, Please cut him, Pleaselet him go somewhere and the world where
he can actually do something with therest of his career as little who knows

(35:05):
how much time that is left. But what I'm seeing the Titans do to
Derrick Henry game in a game outis just frustrating to me. And that's
definitely not what he signed up foreither, definitely not. I'd love to
see him on a different team. And you know someone who's gonna be able
to use his talents. So someof it's the offensive line. If you
look at the advanced stats, he'sactually doing okay. Still is like a
running back with the mistackle rate andeverything, so not his fault. I

(35:28):
mean, if you can get thelead early and just use the game script
to your advantage too, that wouldbe really good. And you know,
Jaguars, we'll see. I don'tknow how I can buy it into you.
I'm like you, I don't knowhow much I can buy into what
they're doing, how much I canbelieve in them in the playoffs. But
they're young teams, so hopefully theyfigure it out and can get things rolling.
Next game up, we have theTexans beating the Cardinals twenty one to
sixteen. This game, CJ.Stroud maybe have more of a Gun Sliger

(35:52):
mentality. He'd been protecting the footballfor the first you know, nine games
of the season. For the mostpart, he throws three interceptions, but
he also throws with three hundred thirtysix yards in two touchdown. Cecil your
guy Tank Dell eight catches for onehundred and forty nine yards and a touchdown
was a big day and Devin Singletaryis able to run the ball too.
H This was a good performance byKyler Murray to kind of keep things close.
But the Texans are the better team, which is just kind of still

(36:14):
shocking to say. Honestly it is, and honestly they see window. I'd
say, you know, the guysthat are in playoff spots or trying to
make the playoffs, they don't havea quarterback. The Texans, I can
say they do now. Obviously, well, two weeks before he played better

(36:35):
than he did in this week becausehe was throwing some balls he shouldn't throw.
And you know, but it willbe correct. I think in practicing
in the film room this week,I think they'll go, I know you've
been doing really well, but westill you can't get away. You've been
doing well, and you can't juststart forcing the ball downfield because you think
you can do it. You know, these are still NFL caliber teams.

(36:55):
You still got to make the rightreads and you got to know when somebody
you can't throw it into triple coverage. You just don't do it. Ever
do it. I don't understand whydo that, because if you're a quarterback,
I mean looking down a guy andstaring some guy down is clearly almost
covered by two to three people meansthere's somebody else outs almost not covered at

(37:16):
all, or is you know,it has an advantage somewhere, And you
gotta be smart enough. You gottatrust yourself. He's mobile enough to you
know, buy him sell some timeto find who that guy is. So
don't weak conclusions. I know youwant the big pass. It looks great,
it looks awesome. You know he'sgetting a lot of talk. He's
getting talked about the MVP, andI'm sure he listens to that as well.

(37:38):
And I think you know, hetried to really just see how elite,
you know, kind of show offwhat he can really do. And
you know, sometimes you just gottasit back and let the defense dictate.
You know what you're gonna do onthat play. You know you're gonna get
positive yards. You're gonna drive itdown the field. You know that the
highlight plays all look great, butyou know you're he gotta not turn over

(38:00):
the football. You gotta take careof it. And you know, if
it's long sustaining drives, that's fine, and you'll be the ones winning because
the other team will run out oftime, so to try to do that
to CJ. Stroud, I thinkthroughout they're gonna try to prolonged drives now,
trying to make him be the onewho makes the mistake because he is
young and he will force it sometimesso much as the hill for the PEO

(38:22):
vote, Stroud went on a weekago into the Bengals, you know,
kind of came back down a littlebit after those interceptions this week. Yeah,
you know, he's gonna win Rookieof the Year, probably m VP.
Maybe maybe he gets an MVP vote. He's not gonna win MVP by
any means, not this rate. You know, it's kind of just a

(38:42):
little too late in the season, and you know he can't put up a
game like that, and then you'regonna have to do something over the last
couple of weeks. You're gonna haveto beat the Jaguars and win the division
if you want any chock. Sogood for CJ. Stroud, you know,
they still get the win. He'llfix some mechanics and it's really just
good. We got two games againstthe Jaguars. Still they're still out there.

(39:04):
They still have not played each otherand it's week twelve, so again
the NFL scheduling. I go,who did this? Why why two divisional
teams not played each other? Imean the Bengals. This will be the
first time they played the Steeers allyear, and then they're gonna play them
again. I think in a week. There's gonna be a week in between
and they play again. So thisapparently it's nobody Now, it's if Amazon

(39:28):
led you to believe it's just theAmazon web services they make everything. The
NFL is actually run by Amazon.Oh yeah, it makes sense. We'll
see. We'll see if a certainowner of Amazon ends up buying an NFL
team here soon, maybe they'll,you know, give this some clues away.
But you're right, See, Ithink maybe this this game, it's
fortunate to happen in a win forthem, but it's a lesson that c

(39:49):
J. Stroud moving forward, hecan protect the football better and just kind
of maybe I don't want to say, I don't think he got like too
big for his breitches, but likemaybe humble them a little bit, you
know, just a little to makesure that the focusing on protecting the football
a little bit. And you're right, Texans have a lot to play for
in front of them. Really bigfan of Jamaica. Ryans as well on
the list for Coach of the Yearas well as C. J. Stroud
is for a Rookie of the Year. All Right, the Buccaneers are still

(40:12):
in play in the NFC South evenafter this loss. But the forty nine
Ers are just a buzzsaw right now. Twenty seven to fourteen win over the
Buccaneers. Now, it was kindof close at the end. There was
a chance for the Buccaneers to comeback. See so, I know you
had some money on certain parlays youwere really hoping for, but overall,
this is nothing we didn't expect inthis game. I think the forty nine
Ers needed that buy more than anyone. They're on fire since the buy.

(40:35):
We noted how important Trent Williams isto this team. They're just a different
team. When he's playing, theycan win, they can win the Super
Bowl tranent Williams is playing. Ifhe's not playing, then they become a
team that's much more five hundred, one hundred percent. And they got all
their weapons back to you know,Deelo Samuels is back. But I mean
I've party thrown for over three hundredyards in this game. You know a
lot of that was on that giantpass, the Brandon Ayu touchdown, and

(41:00):
you know, everybody, every offensiveweapon on the forty nine ers is getting
their turn to do something in thisgame, and really they have been the
whole season. They're all getting involved. Kyle Shann's doing a great job of
making sure everybody is involved in thisoffense. Everbody is really just sitting there
unused all game. It keeps theother guys fresh, and you know,

(41:22):
rockerty pretty well. I don't knowwhat to really say about it. It's
you know, you can only goso long in a season without saying,
maybe Rock Party is just a gooddecent to good NFL quarterback. Now you
take him away Fromkyle Shanahan. Idon't know it's a judge at this point,

(41:44):
but he's good for the forty nineers, and that's all it really
matters at this point. You know, you can argue what his talent is
outside. You know, we maynever know. We didn't know what Tom
Brady for years and turned out itwas just maybe Rock Party is amazing.
Maybe Rock Party tom Brady probably not. But we are a good team right

(42:05):
now, and he is the conductorof a pretty good offense. He doesn't
throw up, he doesn't throw interceptions. Really, he doesn't you know,
make bad mistakes. And it againlike to see them play from behind and
get a victory that way, that'swhere really go is the team to beat
in the NFC. But I meanthey get ahead of you, you're screwed.

(42:29):
That's just really it. Other afterthat, it's just like an absolute
ass kicking because you won't be ableto keep up with every weapon. I
mean, it's hard to really takeaccount when you got probably on every play
you've got four playmakers that could doanything with the ball at any time between
Christian McCaffrey, Kittle, Deebo,Samuel brand Ayuk and half those guys are

(42:50):
receivers or can run the football goodluck. And I mean like that's it's
hard to beat. And you gotTrent Williams that's just gonna beat the hell
out to be on the offensive line. So yeah, forty yards are a
really good team. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I mean, Baker is doing a
great job with the I'm gonna talkwhat happens. He's been excelling at it

(43:14):
the entire year. Has come alivethis year again after last year was a
little less instellar. Been some statsloadingaround this week about why Mike Evans gets
no love, and it is true. He does have a pretty much I
saw this one. He has prettymuch as many yards and pretty much close
the same touchdown numbers Devonte Adams andone hundred last reception. So I mean

(43:37):
that guy catches the deep bault.I'll tell you that. I mean,
if you're tossing up, he's oneof the best big play receivers out there,
and he doesn't get the credit sometimesbecause he is not the fastest guy
and he can pull back, sogood for him. You know, the
Bucks lose again, greys four milliondollars ever spent on a quarterback probably NFL

(43:59):
his street on a non rookie carbeside maybe Kurt Warners. So yeah,
I was about to say that,I think he's the most worth it guy
on a contract that is not arookie deal in the NFL by far.
It's literally the quarterback position and everything, and Mike Evans, you know,
seventh ranked fantasy receiver and sandy scoringformats. Just thrown it out there.
Very good player. He's done itbefore with whatever quarterbacks come in. He's

(44:21):
produced. I think it might givethe more games they win. I mean
they could. Baker could save hisjob for next year with all this quarterback
draft stuff. They could make theplayoffs. They've honestly, they lost the
game to the Falcons of him. They should have won. They usually win
the games that they should win, right like they're losing games to the forty
nine ers. Sure, but theythey win the games they should win.

(44:42):
They have a couple of easy gamescoming up. They could be right back
in the playoff picktures for the Buccaneers. There is some hope coming up.
And the forty nine ers they arewho we thought they were. They just
needed that buy needed Treppi Williams healthy. The Bills beat the Jets thirty two
to six. This is a lotof things to talk about here. Ken
Dorsey was fired and new offense coordinatorthat do find that they score a decent
amount of points, but they werealso aided by the Jets offense. Zack

(45:06):
Wilson had an awful day. Heends up getting bench for Tim Boyle,
and that benching is now permanent. He's not even the backup anymore. They
said, Trevor Simmons the backup. So they're going in a different direction.
I'm not sure that really solves alot of the issues. Tim Boyle did
not look great either, and it'sa lot of offensive line issues as well.
So not like Zach Wilson did notplay well, but I just I

(45:29):
think if you don't have guys likeAaron Rodgers back there, it may be,
like, you know, you can'tput all the blame on the quarterback
again, like we said earlier forHerbert, but like it was good for
the Bills to get on the righttrack, we'll put that first. And
the number two Jets making the quarterbackchange, maybe they should have acquired one
instead of just sticking with Zach Wilsonand then going to Tim Boyle. Work

(45:50):
Bill, don't you worry soon enough? And the merck they all signed turn
So the Jets are just bad.I mean that's it. I mean there
are defense, great offense. Imean you literally can't get your three drivest
in complete some more. Really, the best thing he is just run the

(46:15):
ball after he goes. He can'tmake any throws. So we'll see how
Timmy Boyle does. I mean TimmyBoyle's college stats, for those who looked
them up, are absolutely dreadful.I don't even know how he's really in
the NFL. They you know,a friend Rogers, which I'm like,

(46:37):
that was probably a good move onhis part, probably the best decision he
could have made. And yeah,he's middling, and I mean, I
don't even think you can call himmiddle. There's really nothing positive and God
bless Tim Doyle, I'm sure,or Tim Boyle. I guess he's probably
a great guy and nothing against him. I hope he does well. But

(46:59):
I think the Jets are gonna seeyou know, it's not just that sucks.
I think it's just their whole quarterbackroom outside Aaron Rodgers. Does you
know I'm surprised Trevor Simeon hasn't Andthis is a number thing that's a little
concerning, is that Trevor Simeon hasn'treally cement himself as a better backup.
I mean, the guy has actuallystarted an NFL games, He played for
the Broncos. You know, hehad a decent career at Northwestern. You

(47:22):
know, why is he suddenly stillnot able to really as send to the
starting QB. I mean, HerrSimeon has been in the building for a
while now. If he's not readyI don't know how Tim Boyle's better than
Trevor Simeon. So we will see. I don't see. You know,

(47:42):
maybe Aaron Rodgers has found some kindof magic mud to let, you know,
put on his achilles. I don'tknow. Has he lied to all
of us about his achilles injury? You know, I don't know the grands
plan. I just feel like I'mwaiting for the other shoe to drop for
this magic ending to the New YorkJets that will turn out like most Jets
seasons where everything blows up in theit looks like a complete dysfunctional mess.

(48:07):
Yeah, and Aaron Rodgers says thathe's targeting in December second return, so
we'll see. That's gonna be prettyfast turnaround for an achilles. But maybe
it's like, hey, you guyscan just remove my achilles entirely after the
season. I just need it forlike a couple of months here. But
again, even Aaron Rodgers back there, well, the offensive line is still

(48:28):
gonna be not great. So we'llsee what happens, all right, Is
there any medical way this happened?Like? Is there any medical way this
could have happened? Aaron Rodgers?Like, did they like not really diagnose
it correctly, Like how the hellis this even like remotely possible because he's
listening to Dolphin's mate and that apparentlyis the healing thing. That's what he

(48:52):
says. It's the magic. That'sall it's gonna take. All right.
The Rams beat the Seahawks seventeen tosixteen. Now, this was a game
where the Seahawks looked like they weregonna win it, but then Kenneth Walker
went down with an injuries actu arbonatedfine and everything in place of him.
Then Gino Smith went down with injury, and he set out for a couple
of possessions. Drew Locke came in. They really didn't have anything going and

(49:14):
the Rams capitalized on that. Butthen Genas Smith came back in the game
for the last drive of the game, which makes you wonder why didn't he
just play the other drives too, because he looked good. I know,
his arm, his right arm washurt, and that's obviously important to a
quarterback when you're a right handed quarterback. But if he was good enough to
come back, you know after aquarter of sitting out or whatever it was,

(49:35):
what's that look like? I don'thave no idea. So it looks
like one they got away from theSeahawks. The Rams get the win,
and Seahawks have a short week thisweek, so we'll have to keep tabs
on Genos Smith's injury. But justa kind of a perplexing thing there.
If he was healthy enough to playlate in the fourth quarter, he could
have played theoretically early in the fourthquarter after he left up leaving the third
quarter at some point. Yeah, that's that adds up. But yeah,

(50:00):
it's it was a head scratcher.You know, there's a weird question.
I guess it was the ortonsple stepsthat you shouldn't go back in and then
he just went the hell with it. I mean, we're gonna lose this
game if I don't a lot ofquestions about that with Gina Smith, but
yeah, the Seahawks just, Imean, it didn't get going. And

(50:21):
you know, it has been acareer Sam mcvagh versus Pete Carroll, Sean
McVay has owned Pete Carroll now prettymuch in almost every meeting, he beats
them, and he beats them regardlessof how good the team is. Almost
so Pete Carroll needs to do better. I think it's game play. I
think it's coaching. I obviously theSeahawks had some unfortunate injuries happened, but

(50:43):
you know, the Rams are nota green that you can't beat. You
have a player to go down, even with that being your quarterback. So
I mean they were winning it tillthe end. And you know Cooper Cup
went down this game too. Soyou want to talk about Seahawks injuries,
I mean Cooper Cup got hurt.I mean, and he's their offensive star.
I mean, Hookinaku has done wellthis year, but they don't have

(51:06):
their starting running back, they don'thave their top receiver. I mean they're
down hooking Nakua and like Tyra Higbeeand too Chu out. Well, so
you tell me, you know, you let them score, you have the
lead in the fourth quarter, You'reto let up a you know, game
winning drive by them. That's onthe Seahawks. That's not really just because
Gino Smith got hurt. It's becauseI mean their defense could stop the Ram

(51:29):
to not done anything when it mattered. Most definitely, Well, we'll go
into the Sunday night game cease afun one in attack that we had higher
by Creed, fueling the Vikings whatseemed like the first half of the game
even a little bit in the secondhalf the pastor not Josh Jobs had a
pretty good first half, had themrowling, and then the end of the
game, Denver scores twelve fourth quarterpoints and ends up winning the game to

(51:52):
continue their hot streak. They're lookinglike they could be a playoff team.
They looked like Sean Payton's figured thingsout a little bit, and the animas
maybe that we sensed or saw betweenSean Payton and Russell Wilson is calming down
a little bit now. I don'tknow what's going on. This NFL season
has been pretty crazy already. Thesetwo teams are kind of like the two
that are the most confusing. Wherethe Vikings started off poorly, the Broncos

(52:14):
started off poorly, they figured itout. The Viking is obviously overcoming the
injury to Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson. More crazy than maybe the Broncos figuring
it out. But it's all justcrazy craziness, Yeah, it really is.
We're talking about two teams that canmake the playoffs that three weeks ago
it would have been like good,I'll take your bet, like whatever you
want. Man, like, howmuch money do you want to pay me?

(52:35):
I'll take it. But now, miraculously, Gosh Dobs just will not
quit. I mean, that willgo get shipped anywhere, and he'll still
fight. He still uses his legs. He's able to bail out of plays
that most guys would. One ofthe biggest things, honestly, that I
see in the games he needs tofix is when he's about to get sacked

(52:57):
trying to like throw the ball upto somebody. I think that is a
major problem. That didn't really muchat all, but you know, it's
gonna come up in the NFL.That's gonna be a pick six somewhere,
and he needs to clean that up. Just throw the ball away, you
know, the valiant effort of prettymuch making plays out of nothing. You
know, with the receiving core, you know, TJ. Hokines had a

(53:22):
decent game. The receivers didn't reallyhave the best, but they really did
get both Madison and Anti Chandler involvedin the running game a lot. So
I mean, again, like theVikings pretty much could win the seventh seed
by default. At this point, there's no real contender seeming to appear for
the seventh seed. So it's kindof with so many games left and just

(53:46):
seeing I don't think anybody else inTHEFC really wants it, so we'll probably
get that. Broncos are putting ontheir best. Don't forget about us and
basically what they did and what partof this turnaround cauld is. I think
Russell Wilson and Sean Payton have kindof figured some stuff out. And more
importantly, I think after that Dolphinsgame where they just got beat so bad,

(54:12):
they just jennisoned a lot of olderguys, a lot of guys that
you know, you know, youcan say what it is, but you
know, the veteran guys have beenthrough enough seasons and you see stuff like
that happen, you think you cankind of be good or bad if you
played so many seasons in the NFL. You know, you kind of let
that dictate the rest of the year. So they cut those guys, you
know, save a little money, trade them away, get what you can

(54:34):
for him, and let some youngguys you think somebody who can fill the
role play, Let them play. And honestly, those young guys are really
I'm really good on their defense, the generating a pass rush, you know,
they're they're there, they're they're playmakers, and you know, we'll see
how that translates to an NFL careerfor him. But I mean, they
basically got rid of a bunch ofkind of older vets who were kind of

(54:54):
phoning it in. It feels likefor a bunch of younger guys that how
talented are are they really? Idon't know, but they have a high
motor and they're flying around wanting toplay football. Hey, that's sometimes the
best people right there. I voteloves playing football. That's what we love.
So again, just for the restof the season, whatever happens to

(55:14):
these teams, whatever the ability. The bounce back has been good, We'll
see how they finish out. Maybeone, maybe both make the playoffs.
Could be your interesting story for theNFL. SECE. We had the Kelsey
Bowl on Monday, we had theSuper Bowl rematch. The Eagles win it
twenty one to seventeen. It lookedlike it wasn't gonna happen, seventeen to
seven and a half. Chiefs werewinning. They looked like they were doing
pretty well. You know, Kelseygot a touchdown, but Chaco's running the

(55:37):
ball well. Second half, it'syou know, raining pretty hard. The
Eagles are pretty much just running theball and throwing screens the whole time,
you know, And they cut thelead a little bit and then they go
take the lead. They finally throwa pass deep to DeVante Smith gets it
down to the one you push intothe end zone. This was a weird
situation too, because the Chiefs hadchances to go for it on fourth.

(55:59):
Yeah, I think it was likemore than four on the thirty nine yard
line, so they could have justgone for it instead of punting, and
they got eighteen yards of field positionor something like that. They were not
aggressive. I know it was raining, I know the conditions changed things.
Andy Reid not being aggressive really surprisedme in that regard. And now the
Chiefs are going on like four straightweeks without a second half touchdown. So
it was a game the Chiefs definitelyshould have won, given that they were

(56:21):
up at the half by ten points, but they just they led Usil away
based on decision making and just notbeing able to get the ball moving.
Absolutely, this was a great undersbet for everybody. I almost did a
lot of passing stats until I lookedthrough the weather report. Always look at
the Weather report everybody one hundred percent. It will save you so much money.

(56:42):
And I scrapped that bet and juststarted throwing down unders on passing stats
for everybody pretty much. So thatdid hit. You know, I believe
the over under a time was Ithink it was forty eight and a half.
So I think we got forty eightpoints, so right under. You
know, you know me, Ilove teasing that up a little bit of
a big tas guy. We thirtyeight points. Oh, I got them

(57:05):
at fifty two somehow, So that'sright. It was forty eight and a
half. The night before I lookedto the White Report, I took an
extra three points and here we go, baby. That's right. It's called
being on top of it. Yeah. Yeah, or you know your your
Sunday didn't go very well and you'redoing exactly what Kurt warns you not to

(57:25):
do, right, chasing your laws. But God bless it worked out this
time because Scarce doesn't make money, folks. But anyway, back to the
game. Yeah, I mean Ithink the rain obviously played a factor for
a lot of these guys. Thatwas very clear. And I mean it's
it's hard to really say situationally whatit would have happened if it was a

(57:47):
little bit better weather. But youknow, both of these teams playing harsh
sh you know, Kansas City andPhiladelphia especially as this time of year is
not an easy place to play eitherway, the weather is going to be
unforgiving at times. But they playeda factor. I mean, Kelsey fumbles
a ball in the red zone.Does that happen necessarily if it wasn't Payne,
I don't know. You know,Marcus Valdez Scantling drops a huge tame

(58:14):
winning touchdown. You know he doesnot have the best hands to begin with.
But you know, the rain again, it's wet out, the ball's
wet hands are wet. You know, it can contribute to not be on
a hole in a ball at thecrucial seconds. So, I mean,
the Eagles fired back in this game, and they were down, like you
said, seven to seventeen at half. They had made some mistakes and they

(58:36):
kind of let the Chiefs get afield goal at the end of the half
or you know, basically score beforeyou know the end there, and they
paid for it. But they justas an offense continue to just run the
ball. I mean that's all theydid. I mean, they maybe had
passed DeVante Smith here that they're greattight end Dallas got here active and then

(58:58):
their backup tight end got hurt.So they pretty much did it all without.
You know, a key part oftheir component of their offense is having
a tight end out there as well, and fail out jail hurts. So
I mean they did a good job. I wasn't a pretty game by any
means, and you know, theoutcome could be different if it wasn't raining.
I mean again, it just likethe Super Bowl. It's it's a

(59:20):
toss up. Both these teams canbe very good, but they also can
make some mistakes. And Eagle's gotthe better of this game. Chiefs.
Yeah. See, I I thinkone thing I forgot to mention. Patrick
Mahomes had the game won on adeep ball to Marquez Velde Scantling and just
like he didn't want he used toplay with, the Packers hit him in

(59:42):
the hands and he dropped it.It's another pass this week that people on
Twitter are having fun saying, Oh, Mahome's could have thrown it better.
He threw that on a rope downthe field. It hit the guy in
the hands. It's not like itwas on the tip of the fingers either
it was in the palms. Whatare we doing here? Just stop it.
You can't say that, oh,he could have placed it two inches
closer to the body. Fuck offman Jesus Christ. So that they'll do

(01:00:05):
it. Just that's number one.Number two, I think we can we
can start talking about the Chief's secondhalf issues as being a major problem.
They need to figure this out.I think Andy Reid will figure it out.
And I don't know. I thinkthis is this is still a very
good team, much more well balancedthan in the past. And then the
third thing, I have to say, Jalen Hurts moved up to the MVP

(01:00:29):
favorite after this game. He playeda man. It's the weather was bad,
but he played a bad game too, Like, what are we doing
here? It's not just the bestquarterback right So I don't understand this.
I get that there's not anyone standingout right now, and I get that
he's the quarterback on the team thathas the best record in the NFL.
There's got to be a better MVPcandidate. Jalen Hurts I think has done

(01:00:50):
a great job over the last twoyears. The stats just don't warrant it.
He has too many turnovers to winthe MVP. Uh, there's got
to be someone else we can find. Even if it's got to go to
defensive player or a wide receiver orsomething. There's got to be someone we
could find. Like Tyreek Kill ifhe gets close to two thousand yards,
give it to him, just likeI always saying we should give it to
Derek Henry when he almost had it, when he had two or thousand yards
a couple of years ago too.So those are my final thoughts on that

(01:01:10):
game. Just seems like there wassome weird fan reaction works, weird gambling
lines changing for MVP. It justit irked me a little bit, I'll
be honest, all right. Sothose are the Re's the recap for the
week. We're gonna go to ourpicks for this week. We have a
lot of games on Thanksgiving. Wehave three games on Thanksgiving. We're gonna
get to first, maybe with theGreen Bay Packers at the Detroit Lions.

(01:01:32):
This one is at twelve thirty Easterntime. The Lions are favored by seven
and a half points. Cease,Yeah, I'm walking in the Lions to
win and cover this one. Ithink this is the game the Lions have
been looking forward to, you know, at four Field at eight and two
on the thing. You know,I think there's Detroit fans for the first
time in a long time, we'regonna go to a Thanksgiving game and go,

(01:01:55):
wow, this actually means something becauseotherwise they've come in to that same
and just gone, there comes anotherbeating. But we have season tickets and
we continue to for some reason makethis our family tradition instead of being in
home. So I think Detroit's gonnabe But it's their tradition, right,

(01:02:16):
It's their big thing. They getthe Thanksgiving early game every year at Ford
Field, and I think they're goingup against their rival hackers, who they've
been beating. I don't think thePackers have shown anything this show that it's
going to be resolved this time. They got killed the first meeting this year
by them. Oh I don't knowif it's going to be a blowout,

(01:02:37):
but we'll take seven and a halfpoints. I already put it in parlays
with this game. I teas itdown for good measure to six and a
half, so you know, ifyou're really if you're not doing it,
if you are parlaying with any otherpicks, take this mine and six and

(01:02:58):
a half, because you if theywin this game by seven, don't do
it. It's work if you're battingstraight up seven and a half. Honestly,
probably teased up a little bit.But that's where I'm at. Lions
to winning cover. Yeah, I'mgoing Lions to winning cover two seas.

(01:03:20):
This is a game you've talked about. They've been a lot of anticipation for
over the last several years that oneof a good game on Thanksgiving. The
Packers are banged up, offensive linehas plenty of issues. Aaron Jones is
now probably not going to play thisweek. They just announced it's week to
week, but he's not going toplay on a Thursday game. Their offense
is not very good. I don'thave belief in Jordan Love the wide receivers.

(01:03:42):
I like Remeo dob Still, Ilike Jayden Reid, but Christia Watson
hasn't lived up the hype. Andthey also don't have a number one that
can really just go get you afirst down when you need it. I
don't. I think the Packers wonlast week, and that's great, but
I think going against the Lions alittle bit different. Lions to winning cover
here as you said, if you'regambling on it, though, maybe move
down to say six and a halfor seven. Next one up, we
have the Washington Commanders at the DallasCowboys. Cowboys are favored by ten and

(01:04:05):
a half right now, sees againCowboys to win and cover. The Commanders
have played time. I mean,we just watched Tommy Devita throw for yard
all over the Commanders last week. You know, it's in Jerry world another.
You know, the Cowboys aren't havingit foot base with the Eagles right

(01:04:28):
now. I think we're gonna seea lot of the same kind of bombs
with hilarious Late instead of him andTommy DeVito. It's gonna Dak Krasscott see
Lamb so coming in that again.Ten and a half the weird spread,
folks, I like that nine anda half better. But you know,
if straight up go for it,you know, honestly, the Kes should
probably win this one by fourteen points. Yeah, I'm I'm going Cowboys to

(01:04:54):
win and cover because they're hot rightnow. I'm with you on teasing it
down if you want. That's ashort week. Anything can happen. Thursday
games in general are weird, butlike you know, especially on Thanksgiving week.
I think they should be able torun the ball a little bit if
you get Tony Pollard going a littlebit here too, So I think the
Cowboys can wint to cover. TheCommanders are just they're trying to tank.

(01:05:15):
They're gonna be able to tank andfigure it out the late game on Thursday
season, we have the forty nineErs at the Seahawks. The forty nine
ers are on the road and favoredby six and a half. Yeah,
give me that all day. Isaw seven earlier. Six and a half
is even better, folks. That'sright, my wheelhouse six and a half,
baby, Yeah, forty nine ersall day. Give me that one.

(01:05:44):
Kearnth Walker's banged up, Gino Smith'sbanged up. I just think that
a good win for them. Iknow NSC West plays hard, but the
Niners since that bye, we canbeen firing in all cylinders and I just
don't think the Seahawks are gonna haveit and the State Oh Giant blowout,
but I think they win by atouchdown comfortably. I too, I think

(01:06:08):
the Gino injury is just huge. They said he's day to day, but
like Pete Carroll thinks he'll be good. I just never know what that means.
If you got to put in DrewLocke, I think this this they
cover completely. I don't think youtease this line. I think you roll
with it this The forty nine ersare on fire. Mentioned if Trent Williams
is playing. I have full faithin this team to be able to even
get to a super Bowl this year. So I'll get forty nine Ers to

(01:06:28):
win and cover new this year sees. We have a Black Friday game.
This one's at three pm Eastern.Kind of a weird time for an NFL
game. I guess they're letting everyoneget there get their shopping done in the
morning or something. I don't know. But the Dolphins are playing the Jets.
Dolphins are favored by ten points rightnow. As mentioned earlier, Tim
Boyle is starting for the Jets.Yeah, this is probably the toughest of

(01:06:50):
the Holiday games. I Dolphins towin and cover. What worries me is
that can limit in offense. Itreally just depends if the Jets get lucky
and get a break on defense whereeither the Elephans gets a really short field
or they score pick six. Icould destroy the line basically by itself.

(01:07:14):
Also not necessarily high percentage of hoodplace all the time, and the Dolphins
do have a powerful offense that Idon't know how much the Jets will ultimately
medigate. So I got to gowith the team that's been putting up points
and has been doing it consistently allyear. I'm going with the Dolphins to
winning cover peuple grips. Got beforewe move on about this game one three

(01:07:35):
o'clock, you know, make it, you know, make it it primetime,
Like, I don't know why wecan't have the primetime game three o'clocks
weird. I will still be atwork, so I'm now guess I'm gonna
have to lock myself in my officeand just watch it because you know,
I guess sorry to my co workers. It's football Day, so you know

(01:07:57):
it's a Friday. People still dowork on Black Friday, you know,
especially people in businesses. So that'smy first right stret is. I'm looking
on Amazon Prime and I just sawit today while I was watching another Amazon
Prime original. It says join usfor the game and special Friday deals.

(01:08:18):
So does that mean? What thehell is Amazon Prime gonna do to me?
Like as a football fan, Iswear to God if I start seeing
like flash sails on crap that Idon't care about, I'm gonna start throwing
something. I'm gonna start screaming inthe middle of my office. Who are
gonna wonder if I'm okay? I'mokay. First, Taylor Swift has invaded

(01:08:41):
football. Love Taylor Swift by yourself, but it's ruining the thing I love.
I can love things separately. Idon't need in the mesh together.
You know. It isn't like NokiaTaco Bell. You know, I don't
want some megacorp. Okay, I'dlike my things the way they are.
But if you're gonna start throwing inyou trying to like just throw like me

(01:09:02):
buying things while I'm trying to watcha football game, I'm really gonna start
freaking out because I don't want that. I don't. It's a bad combo.
And that's I'm all for hiving footballand Black Friday. No one has
anything to do as many football gameson a week at solo time I will
watch, So I'm all for thatway I can watch the singular game and

(01:09:25):
enjoy it, or starving to watchsix at once. As awesome as it
is, you do miss things. And but if you're gonna start in the
broadcast to tell me about your BlackFriday deals on Amazon Friday. I'm with
you. I don't understand why theydecided to do a Black Friday game.

(01:09:46):
First of all, it's a dayit's filled with college football, and it's
like, you know a lot ofthe games that don't necessarily get ratings until
after people get off work. Anyway, is this a way they're just planning
to Amazon's like, we really needthis so we can get some sales going,
and you know, hey, maybemaybe people can watch with their girlfriends
or wives because they'll have deals poppingup on the screen, and that's what

(01:10:08):
they're trying to go for in thefuture. I don't know, I really
don't. I just would have preferredthey're just that could just be college football
Day or something. We can stillhave everything spread out. But either way,
Dolphins win and cover. The Jetsstarting Tim Boyle isn't exciting. Jalen
Ramsey's starting to get going on thedefense. Tyreek Hill has the hand injury.
I think he's gonna be fine.He returned last week. He's not

(01:10:29):
gonna play Fortnite this week. He'dbe ready for this game. And I
think the Dolphins is have a muchbetter team right now and a lot better
vibes. It's not a team thatthey're gonna be going up against. It's
great, so they should have achance to win and cover. Moving on
to Sunday, cease, we havethese Steelers at the Bengals. The Steelers
of favorite by one on the road. We won't have Joe Burrow, we
won't have Matt Canada. Yeah, gimme, I hate this. Give me

(01:10:55):
a Steelers j wver. I mean, don't trust Ji. It's like,
I just don't like why would Itrust. I don't understand why the line
is the way it is. Iguess they just think that the Steelers offense
is somehow worse than the Bengals isgoing to be. I mean, it

(01:11:16):
didn't look horrible last week. I'llgive him that. Jake Browning played okay,
they did score touchdown. What thatmeans for the I don't know.
But they are going up again againstone felt. Jake Browning is not Joe
Burrow, so I would be interestedin what the line would be if Joe

(01:11:40):
Burrow was playing healthy at a timeevery game. And these two teams are
gonna play tough and I do alot more to play for right now than
the Bengals do. Bengals are playingfor pride. I get you know,
they don't want the Steelers to win, but Dolphins really the worse than it
was with Mike hitting at Canada twonow tape on exactly what's gonna happen this

(01:12:04):
week with the Steelers. So thedefense are gonna be over prepared for it,
and to the bank, trying togame plan for a new quarterback who
does not have the same skill setdoes not look good in most of the
limited action filling in for Joe Burrow. So yeah, you should get the
Steelers on this one. I youknow, dom Bengles win. Yes,

(01:12:24):
I was still rude for them toalways win every game despite the overall goal
probably to be to lose. It'san individual rival and I will always cheer
for the Bengals to beat the Steelers. I don't care what's at stake outside
of this. Steelers should win thisgame. Yeah, Steelers, Matt Canada
being gone as the addition by subtraction, I think you don't think it's going

(01:12:44):
to solve everything, but it mightsolve a little bit. And Bengals,
like I said, I think thedeflated locker room, Like, yeah,
there's some like mottos of like itcan still be done, and but like
it's just feels so hollow, youknow, it feels like they're really not
the heart slot in it. AndI understand it's just human nature. So
Steelers still a good defense, youknow, t J. Watt, I
think we'll have a big game inthis one. Steelers will win. And
you know, that's that's all wegotta say about that one. Jacksonville Jaguars

(01:13:08):
at Houston Texans sees Jaguars ever abouttwo points. You know what, I'm
you know what Houston on the upthere at Houston, I played really well

(01:13:29):
down the stretch, things CG interception. I think the Jaguars have been hitter
they've been and I think this gamemeans a lot more to the Texans than
it does. So I think they'regonna in the Trevor Tamiko Ryans, he

(01:13:50):
really could. I mean that they'vebeen a higher I like Houston at home
in an upset. All right,Well, I'll go Jaguars to win and
cover in this one. I likewhat they showed last week against the Titans,
kind of the pounce back I thinkgetting Trevor Lawrence more comfortable, he
said a rough season, getting itmore comfortable, getting him going is huge

(01:14:13):
if they have him in ETN goingoff. At the same time, I
think they're dangerous and I don't thinkthat the Texans are bad. I just
I think it's a big leave tosay, like, hey, they might
win the AFC South if they winthis game, like they might go from
being so bad to being winning AFCSouth. That's just the leap. I
our mind just can't make that.So I'll take the Jaguars to win and
cover, and if they don't,then my mind will just naturally make that
leap. Next one up, wehave Carolina Panthers at the Tennessee Titans.

(01:14:34):
The Titans are everybody three and ahalf. Give me. I'm going to
Titans to win. I'm gonna takethe Panthers with the points. This is
a classic. I don't believe ineither team very much. The Titans are

(01:14:55):
better. They should well Levis orthere could be you know, the pay
there's not a good defense, Maybewe'll Levis field possion. There's really just
nothing much to watch for this game. You know, keep this off your
televisions, but stay away from bettingit. Maybe you bet some interceptions,

(01:15:18):
but outside of that, I wouldjust stay away because the Titans, I
don't really know how they're going todo their offense. Are they actually carrying
the ball? Are they not?Is you know, it's just too many
question marks really bet on anything inthis game, So I would stay away
from it. But gun to myhead, Titans should win and I'll take
the Panthers with the points. I'lltake Titans to win. It cover the

(01:15:42):
Panthers. For me, it's it'syou know, they could keep this within
a field goal for sure. Ijust the offensive line issues kind of scare
me. And if the Titans doget the lead, can they just run
the ball? Can they give itto Dereck Henry? Am I believing too
much? And Derek Henry after theTitans seemingly have not believed in him as
much as they should have. SoI'll go Titans when it cover. It's
not a great game. I'm withyou. I'd stay away from this,
at least betting the spread. It'sjust it's honestly, Vegas did a good

(01:16:05):
job with it. I think that'sexactly where it shippy. We have the
New Orleans Saints taking on the AtlantaFalcons in Atlanta. The Falcons are everybody
one points, but we have DesmondRitter returning to take over the offense for
Atlanta. We have Derek Carr concussionproto goal for the Saints. We don't
know if he's gonna play. Everit she's gonna be Jamis. So there's

(01:16:26):
a lot a lot up in theair right now for this game. Yeah,
I'm gonna go with the Saints towin. I just think they are
a better football team the Falcons.I wouldn't say necessarily more talented. I
would just say is able to domore than one thing on offense. So
again, this is more I don'tlike the Saints or believe in them necessarily.

(01:16:47):
I just this is more of acondemnation of Walker Smith and everything does
as a football coach. So Idon't trust them. Maybe if they decide
John's going to get twenty five carriesand Drake London's gonna get the ball,
and so is Kyle Pitts, I'dsay, sure, give me the Falcons
at home. I'm confident that. But for me, I just the Saints

(01:17:11):
can do more than one thing andcan bury their offense just enough, whether
it's Jamis or Derek Carr, Idon't think, honestly, the result will
change that much for me in myway, I see this game, So
give me the Saints. Yeah,I think they's a better team, right,
like the front, if you lookat their defense, if you look
at the quarterback position, you know, running back position, and even if
it's you know, if you wantto have an argument Abou Kamara and Bijon,

(01:17:33):
you know that's great. Jon's justnot being used right way. That's
all fine and good. So rightnow the way they're being used, Kamar
is better wide receiver, corps everything. So it's it's this is a team
we should believe in. They shouldwin and then they've had their struggles.
Whether it's Jamis or Derek Carr,I don't care. I would take the
Saints to beat them. You're gonnagive me a point. I'll take that
point and just just roll with theSaints. The next game is the Tampa

(01:17:58):
Bay Buccaneers at the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are favored by two and a
half. I have no info yetseas on whether the door is going to
be opened the you know, thewindows will be open. The roof will
be open. I have no idea, probably closed this late plus of all
places, but you never know, maybe we get some crazy good weather.
I'm assuming it's gonna be closed, and Dome game really plays to I mean,

(01:18:26):
Tampa Bay playing a Dome team inlate November, that's a for them.
I'm I'm gonna go with the Buccaneersto win this. I like them
as road underdogs just because I'm notreally super botted on the Colts played,
but it's just nothing really that greatlyfucking decent run defense. Obviously the last

(01:18:55):
game they got kind of pummeled by, but they had been playing on deep
better game up a lot less yards, specially on the ground, So I
think they'll limit Jonathan Taylor a littlebit and able to step up and get
enough points of them Golds. Yeah, I'm going Bucks too. I'm a
big fan of how they've played.Like I said earlier, they beat the

(01:19:17):
teams they should beat for the mostpart. They lose the teams they should
lose too. It's a refreshing tobe ceased to have at a time where
we can actually know what we're gettingout of a team in a weird way,
So I'll go bucks. I justthink Mike Evans has a big day
and they get the win on theroad. We also have the Colts.
They just wave Shaq Leonard, aguy who's in former All Pro because they
phased him out of the defense andnow he's not on the team. I

(01:19:38):
feel like that might affect the lockerroom a little bit, the guy who
had been a captain, and youknow, Shane Steichen's team just not really
being used. So I guess that'sfun, all right. The last of
the one PM games, we havethe New England Patriots favored by three points
at the New York Giants. Jesusabout this week because I was looking at

(01:20:01):
it earlier today, this is maybethe one week, you know, obviously,
you don't want to put a bunchof you know, if you're a
person who bets, like all thespreads or a bunch of them at won
or a lot of the heads upgames. Ultimately, the week I just
went even if I had a freebet some bettying for you, and I

(01:20:25):
thought of doing multiple, you know, a lot of spreads or a lot
of you know, just money linesbecause it's free fifty bucks. But I
really couldn't put together more than likefour games, and they were the three
or four where like we're talking theforty nine ers, the Dolphins or some
really heavy favorite these games, spreadsare all very low, and the money

(01:20:45):
lines basically it's they're pick them.So I mean, we're talking about two
to three point spreads the games becausethere's not many games in the NFL that
are ever decided by one to twopoints. It's usually it's three or four.
So it's a weird week. I'mgonna go with Bill Belichick after the
That's really the only reason I dolike what I saw Tommy DeVito last week.

(01:21:10):
We'll see if he can keep itup, but ultimately we'll lean on
Bill Belichick and what he can prettymuch design from having you know, a
week off to prepare for the Giantsand another week of tape on Tommy de
Veato. Yeah, that's the onlyreason why I considered the Patriots. But
I'm going Giants outright with the points. Big fan of Tommy DeVito. Now,
I know you don't want Ady withthem, but the Italian quarterback doing

(01:21:33):
a great job this past week.He has I believe more obviously better stats
than Kenny Pickett, better fantasy performancesthan I think over the last four weeks
of like Patrick Mahomes. People factchecking me on that. But you know,
I think they don't need to stara quarterback, and that's why it
made that much sense that they signedDaniel Jones. But they can play the

(01:21:56):
running game. The defense is playingpretty well. Wig Martindale's getting a lot
out of the defense. I shouldsay, not that you know, they're
not playing the best defense, buthe's getting the most out of them.
And keepon. Timbideau has ten sacks. We'll go Giants. Screw. It's
gonna be a weird game. Idon't think the Patriots are very good this
year. I think Bill Belichick ifthe rumors are true that he's already picked
out his next destination, he's alreadychecked out, then you know he may
not be prepared for this one.So let's go Giants. The evening games

(01:22:19):
on Sunday, we have the ClevelandBrowns at the Denver Broncos. The Broncos
are favored by two and a half. Good give me the Browns. I
think the Broncos finally drop one ofthese improbable games. I'm not super confident
in the Browns, but I thinktheir defense is gonna make Russell Wilson's struggle.

(01:22:42):
And I think, you know, the Browns inexplicably have been able to
stay in these games and pretty muchwin games they should. So I'm taking
the Browns to win. Okay,I'm gonna go with the Broncos. They're
hot and I love the way they'replaying. I think Dorian Thompson Robinson can
be successful with the Browns, butthey have to be able to willing and
willing to run with him a lot. And if the brown or if the

(01:23:04):
Broncos can shut that down and makeit a big situation where he has to
pass, I'd give them not thatmuch chance to win. I think Russell
Wilson's coming along, Courtland Sutton's havinga fantastic year. I'll go Broncos to
win and cover. We have theLos Angeles Rams at the Arizona Cardinals up
next. The Rams right now areif ever by half a point CE,
so it's basically a pick them.I'm gonna go with the Cardinals in this

(01:23:30):
one, with Kayler Murray back, just because there's been some injuries again to
them. I don't think Cooper Cup'sgonna play. I think they're a banged
up team. I think, youknow, the Cardinals are are getting decently.
I mean, they have Caler Murrayback, and that's something I don't
know exactly that means ultimately for theCardinals. You know, you know end

(01:23:51):
of the season what the record's goingto look like. But I think they're
hitting the Rams and at the righttime. So give me the Cardinals to
win. Yeah. There, I'mgoing Cardinals too. They're two and three
at home this year. All theirlosses are on I mean not all their
losses, but they're zero to sixon the road. They don't win on
the road, but they're at home. Kyler Murray's back. They've showed up
good fights since he's returned. Let'sgo with Kyler Murray to beat the Rams

(01:24:14):
at home. And if you're gonnagive me the point, I will take
it. Buffalo Bills at the PhiladelphiaEagles. Eagles every by three and a
half. I'm gonna go with theEagles to win and cover. More excited
about this game than probably the lastfive we've named. Off I think the
Bills played better, but again, they wait against a Jets that was really

(01:24:39):
struggling to do anything on offense. So it's a lot easier to play free
when you know the offense has nochance. Really, once you go up
by twenty points on the Jets, you can pretty much relax, as long
as you don't throw it into doublecoverage and start doing turnovers like they did
in Game one against them. Butthe Eagles are a different, different offense.

(01:25:00):
I think the Eagles will just beable to beat up the Bills defensive
line. I think they can't reallystop the run, and the Eagles are
just too strong. They're gonna blowopen some holes for the running game,
and I think the Eagles will justbe able to take So give me the
Eagles to win and cover. Eagleswinn to cover for me too. I

(01:25:21):
know the Bills played okay after thefirst game without Ken Dorsey, but this
is a different, different animal whenyou have the Eagles, who have a
pretty good defense and an offense togo with it. Like I said,
I don't think the Eagles have playedtheir best football this season, but they're
still nine in one. They getcredit for that. I think they can
win and cover against the Bills, who have their struggles. Kansas City Chiefs
at the Las Vegas Raiders are upnext. The Chiefs are favored by nine

(01:25:43):
points. Don't love the spread, but give me. Give me the Chiefs
to win and cover. I thinkthey're gonna start feeling like they need to
start winning games home, give anadvantage alive for themselves. So I could
definitely see them, you know, kind of turn it on more in this

(01:26:06):
game. They're gonna be up againsta team who's been playing hard but still
just doesn't have the talent. SoI trust the Chiefs feeling down a little
bit, So Chiefs to winning coverthis one. Same for me. Like
I said, I'm impressed with howthe Raiders are playing, but this is
the perfect opportunity for the Chiefs toget a good, right, get right

(01:26:26):
game. The Raiders are not thebest, they don't not most equipped to
win and make the Chiefs pay fortheir struggles. I think they get right
here, the offense gets back ontrack, and they get win, win
and cover the game. Baltimore Ravensat the are at the San Diego at
It's two weeks in the ribs ofSan Diego Chargers at the Los Angeles Chargers
Sunday Night Football. Ravens are favoredby four points on the road. Yeah,

(01:26:48):
give me the Ravens to winning cover. I don't trust the Chargers with
anything right now, and it's ahome game, which means nothing since it's
LA and it's a time so thetime advantage is not in their favor.
Maybe it will because we'll shift backto Baltimore feel like it's eleven o'clock at
night. Still, Baltimore is stilltalented even without Bark Andrews. I think

(01:27:14):
they cruise through this one with fourpoints, so winning cover. Yeah,
I have the same thing. Ravensplaying really good football. The only reason
why I consider the Chargers in thisis just that we talked about with the
Ravens up and down with their seasons. Still have a good game against one
team, a bad game against teamthe should be and for the Chargers like
they're got to be desperate at thispoint for a win. But I think

(01:27:38):
the Ravens winning cover. Monday NightFootball and other Barton Berner sees, we
have the Chicago Bears at the MinnesotaVikings. The Vikings are favored by three
and a half. Y give methe Vikings to win. I'm assuming Justin

(01:27:58):
Jefferson is going to probably put thisone this week. Give me as well.
It's I mean it's it's really notit's it's hard to tell in this
game. Ultimately, I mean,Justin Fields has played better and the Bears
have been playing a little better.I don't know how much you know that

(01:28:19):
can not always translate to points forthem. But I think with Justin Jefferson
back in and Josh Dobbs continuing totry to make something out, I think
they'll win this game. I thinkI'll take that little spread. I'll take
the Vikings to win and cover, still going with the power of Creed powered

(01:28:39):
and forward. The Bears played theirbest game I thought maybe of the season,
even with Justin Fields and using themthe right way, and that's encouraging.
But the Vikings have a little bitmore to play for right now than
the Bears too, so I'll takethem to win cover. All right,
those the picks of the week.Cease any final thoughts. Not really.
It's like I said, give mean interesting week, just because all these

(01:29:01):
matchups are so close. Unfortunately,it's not one of those Oh that means
there's gonna be a lot of greatfootball. It's a lot of middling teams,
