On this episode of The Tour Bus Music Show T. Mic talks with Steven “Ven” Berez, lead vocalist and founder of Los Angeles’s own, Venrez. In their discussion Ven shares the story of the inception of the band and its evolution into its current line up. He also shares about the back to the roots way that the band recorded their newest full length album “Sell The Lie”. The band recorded the entire album in just matter of days using the tried and true method of recording the band live and tracking most all tracks at once, with the exception of vocals. Laced throughout the interview we feature several songs from “Sell The Lie”Including “Karma”, the title track “Sell The Lie”, a haunting cover of Steve Winwood’s “Can’t Find My Way Home”, and “My Only Light” (the c;ip featured in the beginning of the interview is “Melting”). Ven gives us a behind the scences look at their recent tour with Fuel and talks about their upcoming tour dates in June 2012 with the legendary shock-rocker, Alice Cooper.
