I recently had the opportunity to fish the 3rd Annual TJ Martell Foundation's 3 Legends Cast for a Cure Celebrity Big Bass Open on Old Hickory Lake just outside of Nashville, TN. Peggy Ferrell is the director of the Becoming an Outdoor Woman program. BOW started in 1990 after a conference at UWSP to explore how they could get more women involved in hunting and fishing. Founded by Christine Thomas, the conference led to the first BOW workshop and now the program is in 38 states and 6 Canadian provinces.
