(00:02):
Hi. I hope you guys aredoing well and efforts to give you different
types of content. I thought ita great idea to actually record myself speaking
to you all in a more intimateway. Also, since I've sent you
so many emails, it'll allow youto kind of put my voice with some
(00:24):
of the words that I write toyou. For those who don't know me
personally. I hope that you areenjoying Faith boot Camp. I hope that
it's touching your life. I hopethat you're getting some gems and some principles
that you can apply. And Ireally hope that it's impacting you in a
way where you can get the desiresof your heart and that you could really
(00:48):
have some of your dreams and aspirationsrealized, as well as better maneuvering through
your day, which is quite challengingand coincidentally something that we're going to talk
about tonight. If you are enjoyingit, please continue to give us,
excuse me, give me your feedbackof what you think about the series,
(01:10):
how it's impacting you. I'm happyto receive you all as emails. A
couple of you have sent me Instagrammessages, so please keep them coming,
and you also may share any contentthat I send to you. We now
have the share links on all ofthe emails that we send out, so
you can put it on Facebook,Twitter, that type of thing. But
(01:34):
also happy to hear your feedback oneon one. Right now, I'm going
to talk about faith in the midstof affliction, which is definitely my today.
I have been trying to work oncontent for you all today, and
(01:55):
it just seems like my spirit wasoff and I was just under the attack
of the enemy just because I'm itis my belief, I'm doing a very
important work here, and this wordreally came right on time. Because what
I found is if the enemy canattack you enough, and if your circumstances
can afflict you enough, it makesit hard for you to believe. It
(02:21):
makes you hard to have actionable faith. It makes you it makes it hard
for you to tap into that faithjust because you're dealing with the pressures of
whatever the atmosphere is imposing on you. So that is exactly where the enemy
wants us to be, to feellike we're so overwhelmed that we cannot possibly
(02:46):
get out, that we can notpossibly have faith, just because having faith
is another part of us that wejust aren't human mainly possible for us to
tap into just because we're tired,um and and we're exhausted, and it
(03:06):
makes it difficult to kind of pushthrough those times and still have faith.
And it also presents a very humanisticdistraction um. Whereas you know you're trusting
God for something, you know youwant to you know, pray for that
thing, or you know you wantto meditate on it, but you can't
because life has happened and life hashit you. UM. So I think
(03:29):
that there's no better story for methan talking about the woman with the issue
of blood. Her faith quite honestlyU is astounding, and the Bible says
it is what made her whole. It was her faith. We know that
the power of God is real,UM. But we see that example of
(03:53):
faith pushing you through to the nextlevel. When you are physically um,
in a horrble state UM. Andthat physicality can be you know, um,
you know, actually something being wrongwith your body. That physicality can
be mental that you just have somuch going on in your mind, or
so much going on in your heart, or so much going on your spirit.
(04:15):
That can be relational where you're justdealing with so many different people,
and you know that people are pullingyou from different directions. Um. Your
you know, your job, yourkids, your family, UM. So
being afflicted puts us in a statewhere we're almost downtrodden, and we focus
more on, you know, gettingout of the affliction and getting strong enough
(04:36):
so that we can come to thethrone of God and ask him for what
we need. UM. But therequirement of faith sometimes is just really too
much UM for us to bear.So I know that if you've probably started
this series, the enemy may havebegun to attack you because you don't want
(05:00):
you to get this content. Soif you are feeling afflicted, this is
for you. And for those timesyou know that you are feeling afflicted,
you know, I want to giveyou strength enough to understand and have that
consciousness that that is what is happeningto you. The enemy wants to get
you in a position where you arenot strong enough to tap into the faith
(05:23):
that you need to pray yourself outof the situation and allow the university to
bend and to yield to what thussay at the Lord. This is life
is hard and it's a tough timeto have faith. So quickly. The
story is in Mark five, versetwenty one through thirty four. Mark five,
(05:45):
verse twenty one through thirty four,so I encourage you to read it.
I have a new King James versionBible, which I like very much,
so I encourage you to read thisstory. It's just a few chapters,
but it is it can be.I'm really really insightful, I'm really
impactful. When we look at thestory, we know it's a story of
(06:05):
faith. It's always been positioned asa story of faith. But what we
forget about is the state of whichthis woman is in, you know,
mentally, physically, and what itwould actually require for her to you know,
kind of diet in self. Forgetabout what her circumstances and to have
(06:26):
enough faith to muster up to touchthe hymn of Jesus's garment. The physicality
of that is it's off the Richterscales. So we have to look at
this as an example that no matterwhat we're going through mentally, no matter
what we're going through spiritually, andwe're no matter what we're going through relationally
economically, that we have to pushourselves to allow that faith to propel us
(06:54):
to get the healing that we need. The first part is to know that
you need to be healed, andthat has to bign supreme, having the
understanding that I need to be healed. And the only place that I can
get this, the only place Ican get what I need, The only
place I can get the my prayersanswered is at the cross. You know,
(07:15):
if you want to read Mark fiveVersus twenty five through twenty seven,
it says that she had an issueof blood. She suffered from many things
and had gone to the physician. She had spent all that she had and
she wasn't better. But when sheheard about Jesus, Gloria God, she
came behind him in the crown andtouched his garment. She knew she needed
(07:38):
to be healed. She positioned herselfin a place where her faith could do
a good work. You know,no matter what her you know, physical
state was, no matter how muchpain she was, no matter how much
the world was on her shoulders, she put herself in a situation where her
faith could work. And that iswhat we have to do. We have
to position ourselves, no matter whatis a fool lifting us to get healing.
(08:01):
We have to know that we needit, and we have to know
that exactly where we need to bein order to get it. We also
see here that our faith requires action. So again, no matter what our
state is, we still have topush, you know. That's that's the
other part of faith we talked abouta few days ago. We got to
(08:22):
show that substance, that push isthe substance of faith. I'm pushing,
I don't I don't know what theoutcome is going to be, but I
am trusting that my energy and theefforts that I'm putting forth something will manifest.
So we have to see our faithin action. And we see this
woman pushing through, you know, pushing through the ground, crawling on the
(08:43):
ground, just so that she canget to where her healing is. Um.
So this is something that we've goneover in the previous emails in the
workouts, that you got to havesome action. I've you know, instruct
you you guys, to prey onthat thing, to meditate on that thing,
to be honest about what your requestis, to make sure that you're
(09:05):
obedient, making sure that what youwant for yourself and what God wants for
you aligns. So we got tomake sure that our action is intact and
what's my favorite part of this storyis in verse thirty three, where it
says, but the woman, fearingand trembling, knowing what had happened to
her, came and fell down beforehim and told him the whole truth,
(09:31):
mercy. Even when we are ina state of hurt and anguish and being
afflicted, we still have to behonest with God. We still have to
be honest about what we need, what we've taken, where we are,
what we're lacking, what we feelthat we are lacking, in order to
get what we need from Him andwhat we need from Him. It's a
(09:54):
free gift, it's there for thetaking. But it's so important to be
honest with God, and it's soportant to be honest about what we need,
especially when we're in the midst ofaffliction. Sometimes so much as coming
at us that we're not clear aboutwhat we need, we're not clear about
what we want, and we haveto be honest about that too. So
we want to make sure that wealign ourselves in such a way where we
(10:16):
can tell God the entire truth andthat we can receive what He has for
us, no matter what our circumstances, no matter how he we we feel
like our yokes. So make surethat when you are in that state where
you feel like there's just too muchon you, that you can still be
(10:37):
in a state where you can receivewhat you need from the Most High God.
Okay, so now it's time forthe cool down. I want you
to reflect on a time where youhave been in a state of affliction.
It maybe right now, it mayhave been last week, it may be
coming, and I want you tohave the divine consciousness to understand exactly where
(10:58):
you are, and I want youto pray in that moment. I want
you to reflect on the times whereyou have been afflicted and you didn't allow
your faith to press forward, andI want you to go back to some
of those things, and I wantyou to pray again about some of those
things. I want you to receivethe victory on those things that you missed
out on because you allowed this worldto trouble you so much that you couldn't
push forward and get the hymn ofthe Garment of the Most High God.
(11:22):
Those are the things we need totalk about this week. We need to
stay strong, we need to staypreyed up and no matter what is harboring
us. No matter what is hinderingus, we can find ourselves in position
to receive exactly what we need fromGod. There is safety there. And
as long as our faith is strongenough and we continue to strengthen it,
(11:45):
we continue to exercise that. Ialways tell the girls and my Bible study
that you know, faith is amuscle. It's something that you have to
work at. This is that's whyit's called a bootcamp. It requires work,
It requires flexology, it requires stretching, it requires, you know,
manipulating the muscle so that when weneed it we can call on it.
(12:05):
Wen it's well worked, it's wellexercised. It's not going to tense up
on us. It's not gonna crapup on us. We know exactly when
we're in how to tap into thatfaith in the purpose of this and the
most important part of this is weare not always not going to be in
the state of you know, justblissfully asking for God for what we want.
(12:26):
Sometimes we are in a state ofthis world, or we are afflicted,
or we are hurting, and it'sgoing to require a different level of
faith, a different level of understandingto push through whatever ails us, whatever
afflicts us to make sure that wecan push and get to what we need
from God. Remember that it isjust an attack from the enemy to make
(12:50):
you feel like you're not strong enoughto push, to make you feel like
you're not worthy enough to push,to make you feel like you don't have
what you need to get you tothe next level. But I want to
encourage you that you do. Andnow with this understanding, you can know
that you know when you feel likeyou got too much on you, you
got too much on your plate,it's just affliction and you can just tap
in and still get that faith andstill pull from that faith and get exactly
(13:13):
what you need. So until tomorrow, I hope you guys are enjoying this
till so much. I'm enjoying pouringinto you. This is how you make
glitter. Thank you so much forjoining me for the Faith boot Camp and
we will talk tomorrow.
