Audio taken from the live version of "Does the Bible Endorse Slavery? The Answer No One Talks About!" - https://youtu.be/BREGfCvDy3s?si=NMEivCS6nPx3OJwU

The question of slavery in the Bible is one of the most common questions raised by critics of the Christian faith. These intellectuals ask, and rightfully so, “why does the Bible support the practice of slavery?”

In today’s study, we will investigate these controversial ancient texts, and provide you with answers to this problematic question.

1 - Why does the Bible endorse slavery?

2 - What exactly was slavery in the Bible?

3 - Why didn’t Jesus condemn slavery?

Key Scriptures for today’s teaching: Ephesians 6:5-9

Other Scriptures in this study: Exodus 21:16; Matthew 19:3-8; Genesis 1:27; Philemon 1:15-16

Unless otherwise noted, most Scripture will be read from the New Living Translation (NLT) Bible.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
