1970年代に山下洋輔トリオでのプレイで世界中にその名を知らしめた坂田さん。
現在も世界中でアグレッシブな演奏活動を続けています。
そんな坂田さんは敗戦直前の1945年2月広島県呉市出身。
戦後80年目の節目となる8月15日には、この4月に急逝したTOKYO FM名物プロデューサーで文筆家としても活躍した延江浩氏の遺作となった「三輪車」の朗読ライブに出演し、改めて平和の大切さを訴えます。
今回はこの朗読ライブ実現の経緯と坂田さんの戦後80年への思いを伺っていきます。
