Speaker 1 (00:18):
I'm not so sure why they would sign the deal either,
and I get why members of the European Union are
pretty angry because this trade deal is.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
It absolutely looks.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Like the European Union just got abused, just ripped apart.
When you go through it, number by number, just starting
with tariffs. No tariffs on the vast majority of US
goods going into the EU, but at fifteen percent tariff
on EU goods coming into the United States. If you

(00:58):
are a member of that community, that European Union community,
you happy with this now? Please don't get me wrong.
I don't care anything about the European Union. The European
Union was set up. I've I've discussed this a million times,
although I don't think I've talked about it recently. I
know President Trump brought it up a month or so ago.

(01:21):
The European Union exists solely and exclusively to try and
take down the dollar and challenge the United States for dominance.
That's its purpose, beginning to end. Tony Katz ninety three WIBC,
Good morning, Good to be with you. I don't mind

(01:43):
that it is a one sided as it looks one
sided deal.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I'm just surprised by it.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
The EU is going to buy seven hundred and fifty
billion dollars worth of energy products from the US.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Well, that is actually something that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Why would you buy it from Russia, with whom you're
having to deal with, and why you're now putting five
percent of GDP to NATO.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
This wouldn't make sense.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Now they're gonna buy six hundred billion dollars six hundred
and fifty billion dollars in United.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
States military products. Well they might have very well done
that anyway.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
So now I'm like, wait, wait, is this a deal
or is this just kind of what was expected?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
These are the things that they're already doing. These are
things that are smarter for them to do.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Because you're gonna buy the energy from somewhere you decide
to get rid of your nuclear capabilities to get energy,
well you now have to deal with that.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
But the tariff.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Leveling, man, I think that's going to drive a lot
of people in the EU absolutely nuts nuts. We'll see
how it affects the markets today and then we'll see
the only thing that matters is there more it just
does the buyer actually take place? And how much pressure

(03:03):
is now on China to make the deal Now I
never put a European Union deal in the mix. It
was always Japan, Vietnam, India, South Korea. Was those deals
to put the pressure on China. Maybe this one does.
There's no trade deal yet with them. Oh and they
still owe us for COVID because they did this and

(03:27):
they should have to pay for it. Tony Katz ninety
three WIBC, Good morning.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Let me be absolutely clear, as we have been from
the very beginning, House Republicans insist upon the release of
all credible evidence and information related to Epstein in any way,
but we are also insisting upon the protection of innocent victims.
And our concern is that the Massy and Kana discharge
petition is reckless in the way that it is drafted

(03:55):
and presented. It does not adequately include those protections. And
I can explain all the details of that with The
important thing on the timing. To answer that question first
is that we did not do anything to end the
term of Congress early. The Massy Kana discharge petition was
filed so that it would not ripen until a day
after Congress had previously been scheduled for almost a year

(04:19):
to be out of session, and in the district work
period for August, and that is the timing of it.
So what we did do this week is in the
chaos and the Rules Committee, because the Democrats are trying
to use this in a shameless manner for political purposes.
Quite obviously, they hijacked the Rules Committee and they tried
to turn it into an Epstein hearing. That's not what

(04:39):
the Rules Committee is about.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
So that's the Speaker trying to set the record straight
regarding Epstein this and Epstein that.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Oh good lord, and I'm the guy who wants the
stuff released. You might very well be too.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Tony Katz ninety three WIBC, Good morning, Good to be
with you. To find everything I'm doing over at Tony
Katz dot com. Democrats think that this is how they're
going to get voters. They're more than welcome to keep
going down this road. It hasn't gotten them a voter,
it hasn't changed polling, it hasn't moved a Republican.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
No part of this is working for them.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
That said, the reason that this is at this level
is because of Pambondy, and for whatever reason, President Trump
decided to triple.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Down on them.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Why does this matter? Why does anybody care. Why are
we still talking about this guy who was just a
mistake and now they're dealing with it. But I'll be
happy when the information comes out. I'll be thrilled to
see it. Israel is going to pause the fighting to
allow AID in and they are the ones who are

(05:52):
going to do the drops of the AID by the air.
Let me tell you something. For a genocidal power, Israel
is the worst genocidal power out there. Hold on this
just in. Israel was never a genocidal power. People like
Jesse Brown are just lying frauds.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Got it? Got it, Jesse.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Brown answer a Jewish voice for peace, bunch of lowly frauds.
The genocidal power is the Islamist because they want everybody dead.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Who won't submit. I mean, I'm just I'm just quoting there.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Like.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
It's not like I made it up. It's not like
I invented it.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
I'm pretty sure that's as close to a true quote
as I can get.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Let's just call it a rather accurate paraphrase.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
You have had Aid not getting in to Gaza, as
if somehow the people of Gaza are supposed to be
taken care of by others and not the leadership of Gaza,
which is a mas A terrorist organization which went about
murdering twelve hundred people and are now involved in a
war with Israel, the country they attacked. They'd cared about

(07:07):
their people, they wouldn't be killing others. They would have,
I don't know, kept the water pipes.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
In the ground. The terrorists, what else do you expect
from them?

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Terrorists do terrorist things, and they always do terrorist things.
Remember for hamas when Israeli gets killed, they win. When
a Palestinian gets killed, they win. It's one heck of
a spot to be in. So there are now air
drops happening and a pause in the fighting.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Now.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
I don't think the pause of the fighting is going
to last. The United States has pulled out of the
ceasefire talks because Steve Whitkoff, who is the Middle East Envoy,
and others have learned that Hamasque is not a trustworthy
UH conversation piece. They're not a trustworthy organization. They're liars,

(08:04):
they're frauds. They're the lowest human beings supported by Answer
and Jewish Voice for Peace, not Jews as I see them,
and people like Jesse Brown, the lowest of the low support.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
This idea that somehow Hamas is an honest.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Broker, and then they'll quote things like look at all
the people dead. It comes from the gads of health ministry.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Everybody knows that's a fraud. The Gods of Health Ministry
is a mast.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
They don't separate between civilians and Hamas fighters, and they
lie like all Islamists, like all Communists, they lie. Those
groups have so much in common that, for one is shocking.
So the US has left the talks because Hamas cannot
be trusted or dealt with.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Israel's like, what do you want us to do?

Speaker 1 (08:53):
And now they're gonna stop the fighting so AID can
get through again. I'll say Israel is the worst genocidal
power ever, because they're not a genocidal power, and everyone
who says so is just a liar, calling you a
liar directly to your face.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
If you thought I was gonna shy away from that,
you're you're nutty.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Then we get into more of this tariff conversation because
President Trump is now floating the idea of you know
what we've taken in so much money from these tariffs,
billions and billions of dollars, is what we have cost
the American people.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
How about a rebate? What?

Speaker 1 (09:38):
What?

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Why?

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Why would we even talk like this? He said, we're
thinking about that. Actually, we have so much money coming in.
We're thinking about a little rebate. A little rebate for
people of a certain income level might be very nice.
So the people who pay the tariffs don't get any
of the money back. People who are probably not paying
the tariff because they're not buying those.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Goods, they will.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
So So if I understand you, President Trump, well three distribution,
is this what we're seeing now?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Yeah? Yeah, don't be surprised when I say, yes, not
what I voted for. Thinking.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Oh, I knew tariffs were coming. I disagreed with them,
but I knew it was happening. Well, three distribution was
not on my list. You want to pay down debt
with the tariffs, like we said we were going to,
let's do that, but little checks going out to people
certain people, No thank you, no, no, no no. But

(10:37):
this gout floated like five months ago, like in the
second month. I remember this getting floated in me saying no, no, no,
no no, And I was conflicted. I said, I always
love it when people get their money back.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
I want this.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
I always am in favor of the tax cut and
people getting their money back. So if you want to
do tax cuts, fine, but this group of people pay
as a tariff because not everybody buys the products that
has the tariffs on him, and there's other group of
people will get a dollar's back even though they may
not have.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
I bought my ticket. I knew what I was getting into.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Well, guess we'll we'll keep just trying to set him
straight on this one. On this one, on other things,
the man as well set straight. Now, I guess I
should start the story by saying I don't know anything
about this musician at all. What I know is that
Canada's pretty terrible Tony Katz ninety three WIBC, good morning,

(11:40):
Good to be with you, Sean.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Is it fuked infecked feucht musician?

Speaker 1 (11:49):
When I say I don't know anything about him, I
don't know anything about him, anything about his music.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Nothing.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Well, he was set to play a show, oh in Montreal.
And I guess the good people of Canada. When I
say the good people of Canada, I mean the government

(12:19):
of Canada. They decided you can't play here. We don't
like your message. What in the world don't you like
about the message? Well it's Christian. Well wait, that's no

(12:40):
reason to to not.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Let a guy play, is it? Wait? Is this what
the Canadians do?

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Are the Canadians now people who take a look at
your your religion and decide whether or not you're allowed
to have a level of free speech?

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Well it is. Free speech is not their bag, baby.
So the city of Montreal.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Not only was trying to tell this guy he can't play,
but then he found a church he was playing in,
and they find the church twenty five hundred dollars. It's
Canadian dollars, so it's not like it's real money. The
mayor says they didn't have a permit to organize a concert.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
That doesn't seem to be the case.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
That seems to be a bit a of a of
a fraudulent statement. I don't know the guy, I don't
know his music, but never one for example, we stated
here for as awful and as bigoted as Lewis farakhn is,
and no matter how much people like Congress Andre Carson
support him, we've never said, you know, that guy is

(13:59):
not allowed to give a speech in Indianapolis. Never said that.
I said, if you go to a speech. Well, that's
pretty pathetic. But he gets to give a speech just
like anybody else does. Is it because he's Christian? Is
it because he might be opposed to how it is

(14:23):
that the Canadian government acts? And should we be thrilled
with Canadians that when this guy does find the church
that he can perform in, you've got people throwing smoke
bombs into the church because that happened too. For the
people who still want to use Canada as the refuge,

(14:45):
you're more than welcome to Oh I don't like what's
happening here. I'm going to live in Canada. We're the refuge,
We're the better place. The Canadians lovely folk. I enjoyed
my time in Toronto.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Might go back?

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Might? They will never measure up. You can send us
all the Martin shorts you want. We appreciate Jimmy Glick,
but it will never measure up. You send us Ryan
Reynolds were like thanks, But then he marries Blake Lively.
We're like, oh, more of this. Blake Lively is like

(15:19):
Megan Markle, but without the title. It's not it's it's
not it's not good. Oh oh hot, super hot, but
after that, it's just now you just got to deal
with it right. Eventually there's gonna be a picture of
Ryan Reynolds looking like Ben Affleck dealing with j Low
that's going, holding the cigarette, looking up a little bit

(15:41):
of rain, saying, Oh Lord, why hast thou forsaken me?

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Wrexham can rise in the ranks? Why can't I?

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Anyway, the Canadians not great, not a.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Nation to look up to at all, at all of things.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
We don't look up to what is happening in our
beloved Indianapolis. I have got the story on the homeless
coming up. Tony Katz ninety three WIBC, Good morning. So
I think everybody saw the story regarding the taking down
of this homeless encampment in Fountain Square. Tony Katz, ninety three, WIBC,

(16:25):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
I mean there's a lot of Indiana news.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
You've got Governor Brown supporting Camp Adderbury Ice attention, which
he should. People are mad at Representative Andrew Ireland because
he referred to it as the Cornfield Clink.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Like alligator Alcatraz.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
He wants to call it the Cornfield Clink, which they're
mad because you're making fun of this serious issue. Well,
first of all to the Democrats of Indiana who maybe
bring it down just a little bit. Not the thing
to get worked up about, but I would agree. I
don't think Cornfield clink is a is a great name

(17:01):
for it when it clearly should be called the Who's
your Holding?

Speaker 2 (17:06):
I don't like. I mean it's right there.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
By the way, Who's your Holding will also be the
name of my dispensary when we legalize marijuana. They'll be
right next to kosher Kutsch. I'm gonna be my own,
maybe my own competition. If we could just legalize marijuana already,
that'd be great.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
So Broun supports the idea, I would be surprised if
he didn't.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Actually, this is not the end of the universe.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
And for the Indiana Democrats, there's a difference between legal
and illegal immigrants. And why you favor I legal immigration
Democrats is beyond understanding. I know no one gets you,
and this is why you don't win votes. That's why
you don't win statewide. It's why, oh you win in pockets,
right like you run for mayor of Indianapolis by screaming

(17:55):
about abortion rights, as if the mayor.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Of Indianapolis has anything to do with abortion.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Can't fix a pothole, Nope, can't keep kids safe. We'll
get into that story in a moment. But you have,
of course, the issue with homelessness, which this city does
a very good job of brushing under the rug when
company comes town, like the WNBA All Star Game.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
But you have in Fountain Square. Was it Indie reporter
who put this out?

Speaker 1 (18:27):
I want to give credit where it's due about this
call a skid row. I don't think any of us
should be dismissive of the fact that homelessness is an
issue that people need help.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Some people need help getting back on their feet.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
I think we should be the society that wants to
do that, because I think it's better for us, it's
better for them, it's better for everybody. Then there are
the people who simply will never get on their feet.
These are people who are addicted. These are people who
are mentally ill. There is no way to help them
in a in thinking that, well, we'll just provide them
a house and everything will be fine.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
That's not how it works. We discussed this, I would
think was a month ago. Now we need.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
To reopen the asylums. You yell at me, scream at me.
I'm having the most honest conversation. There are people who
cannot be on the streets. There are people who cannot
help themselves. What is our plan?

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Now? Sometimes people will foolheartedly.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
Say, well, I don't want to pay for this, so
it's gonna cost that. The answer is it's going to
cost you something. It's gonna cost you something in terms
of a tax or check, or it's going to cost
you in your inability to walk down a street because
of the panhandling, begging, violence, or the out in the
open defecation. Your choice. Ah, yes, correct, Just add a

(19:52):
zero to that check and then sign your name's that's
the correct answer. Is this public private partnership?

Speaker 2 (20:00):
I do not have the answer. I'm willing, however, to
have the conversation.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
There is no doubt that some of the people on
the streets in Indianapolis cannot and will not ever be
able to function in society. Some absolutely can, and those
are the people we want to help. The other people
we want to help differently. And what has to be
said and what never gets said, is helping others is

(20:30):
helping the self, Meaning that if you have somebody who
is mentally ill, truly mentally ill, not this at the
airport anxiety.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Mentally ill.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
You do help yourself by helping them be in a
place that's going to be able to.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Care for them.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Off the streets. You think you're taking away their rights.
I didn't say someone shouldn't be adjudicated mentally ill. I
didn't say someone shouldn't be able to defend themselves from
being adjudicated mentally ill. I'm saying, we know that people
who are mentally ill exist. Why don't we just say
so and then do something about it. Well, Tony, you
just want to lock them away. I don't want them
to be homeless on the streets. Not only Some people

(21:13):
would argue you're bringing down property values, creating dangerous situations
for themselves and for others. And yes, there is an
economic cost here. If we could all be grown ups,
that would be fantastic. We have to make the hard
decisions that's up to us to make. This is the
decision we should make. So this encampment of tents and

(21:36):
other things is going to close on August eleventh.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
The question is what do we do? Where do we
go from here? And the answer is, well, let's find
a way to go from here, I think it's going
to be public private. I think the state does need
to get involved.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
I get that the state in Indianapolis don't work well
together because joehah, it doesn't work well with anybody who
the hell would want to work with Joe Hawgson or
Dan Parker. But I need the General Assembly to be like, Hey,
we've got an idea here and we're coming to you
with it, and be very public and very open about it.
And if these absolutely shameful lack of leadership Democrats don't

(22:18):
want to work with you, tell the state, Tell everybody,
it's time for all of us to grow up and
handle this thing.
