Speaker 1 (00:20):
A little bit about the gen Z economy because.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Watching the price of silver has been I'm not a
guy who spends his time.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Saying, man, I should have or why didn't I? Silver
at eighty dollars an ounce is kind of crazy right
now at seventy five Tony Katz ninety three WIBC, Good morning,
Good to be with you.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
What's going on? What is happening now?
Speaker 1 (00:57):
It was a story over It was the federalist Catherine
gripp I don't know Catherine. And Catherine was doing a
story about America Fest, the big event from Turning Point
(01:19):
that had far more people than ever before. Some thirty
thousand people showed up to this Turning Point event. Don't
deny reality here. That's huge, massive.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
And.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
She was going around to asking what are the subjects
that actually move.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Voters? Move you?
Speaker 1 (01:44):
What are the things we're moving you to vote? And
it wasn't Israel. It wasn't you know, things that the
political left tell us about healthcare? No, no, no, As
this reporter discovered, the top things were affordability and immigration.
(02:09):
Affordability is the term that Mamdani used. And remember that
Zaron Mumdani, who will now be the mayor of New
York as of January first, and there's already reports that
they're going to be massive, massive layoffs that take place.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
And I shouldn't say layoffs, That's not the way I'm
looking for.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Resignations are from the NYPED and others that's coming, that's.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Going to happen. Who wants to work with this guy?
Speaker 1 (02:38):
When he says affordability, he means tax the rich even more,
which will lead us into a story about Congressman Roquhana
and wanting to have a well tax on unrealized profits,
unrealized gains.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
This is horrifying stuff.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
You're gonna have to pay not on what you made,
but what you possibly could have made. If you saw
something and you don't sell it, it doesn't matter. They
still want to tax you. They tried this in Norway,
horrifying results. I'll have that on Tony Kats today at noon.
But the affordability conversation at least recognized that there is
(03:16):
a significant issue.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Regarding the cost of things.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
And we here we're saying for the last three four months,
stop saying that everything is great. You sound like Janet
Yellen saying that inflation was transitory. You sound completely out
of touch, start discussing, Yes, we know there are issues,
but this is what we've been working on. These are
the deals we made and when this goes into effective,
When this happens, you're gonna see the results.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
And here's how you'll know it's happening. You got to
get people into the fight with you.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
And I believe that the President handled it wrong, and
I believe that Scott Besson has handled it wrong. I
said so on Sean Spicer's show. That's when Steve Bannon
decides to go after me. Steve Bannon, you yuch, and
he called me a stock Republican, which might still be.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
The rudest thing anybody's ever said about me.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
But I was right, and Steve Bannon was wrong, and
I was right. And now you're hearing Scott Bessen talk
about how you're gonna see huge tax refunds coming because
of the one big, beautiful bill. They're discussing, Hey, we
did all these things, and here's what it goes into effect,
and here's how it's gonna help you. Here's what you
have to look forward to, and here's how this economy
is going to get turned around. And here's what we're
fixing from Biden. They're late to this, but they're finally
(04:30):
getting on this something we have been discussing for months.
But I don't think there's any doubt that gen Z
thinks that sees things as my gosh, it's tough out there,
and I don't know where my future is. What's my future?
It isn't gonna be easy. It's gonna be outrageously tough.
(04:52):
I'm not gonna do better than my parents. This stinks,
That's what they're viewing. That's what they're saying.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Do we want to deny this? Do you want to
pretend this isn't happening?
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Do we want to be like, oh, whatever, that's a
dumb thing to do.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Now?
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Should government solve the problem?
Speaker 2 (05:15):
No?
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Government should solve the problem because when it does, you
get Mom Donnie and wealth taxes and things like rent control.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Rent control never worked. It just increases all the property prices,
it increases rents.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Anybody who has ever read a book knows this.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Except for Mom Donnie.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
And never mind what else is going to happen in
that city regarding bigotry, etc.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
But it's a really interesting piece. I've got it on
the show sheet.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
You'll be able to get that at Tony kats dot Com.
Affordability and immigration the top two. Those are things that
I think that are winnable, winnable subjects. And this is
why I am not of the opinion that the midterm
are lost.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Oh far from it. I believe from right now.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
They can still be won and well, which is why
I'm addressing this and I'm gonna get deep into it.
January twenty fourth, twenty twenty six, Higatt Regency, Downtown, Indianapolis.
Trump one year later, the Red Tie Gala, the highs,
the lows.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
How we win the midterms?
Speaker 1 (06:22):
I get all down what has happened over the last
year with Trump and how this will play into how
a midterm victory is achieved, even for Republicans in this
type of election where usually the party in power loses.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Seats, it can be done.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
I think I've got a good math here I'm sharing.
You'll tell me what you think. Trump one year later,
How we win the midterms? The bourbon, the food, everything
presented by Premiere, Arms, Pa, Jewelers, Chimney Solutions, Defiance, Beef, WIBC.

to be back. Tony Katz ninety three w ib C.
Good morning, Good to be here, Good to be with you.
Find everything a Tony Katz dot com. Did I miss anything?
(07:23):
Did I miss anything that requires.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Thoughts? Like I've gotten all the stories?
Speaker 1 (07:32):
Wait till you see the show sheet today, the possible
deal with Ukraine. Of course I discussed Trump hitting Isis
in Nigeria and the protection of Christians because my points
earlier holds. People think that you know what you're seeing
from Islamists and progressives about.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Jews, and it's not about that.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
It's always been about Christians. We've been discussing this for
over a year.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
It's all. It always been about Christians. That's the point.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
The Red Green Alliance is the Communists and the Islamists
getting together to destroy you, me and we, and.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Then they'll fight each other. You got to get rid
of Western civilization.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Oh, Tony, you're just being all due respect. The story
has been told. Now some people will decide I'm not
going to pay attention, I'm not going to believe it. Well, yeah,
it sucks to be you and it really hurts the
rest of us because we have to work harder.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
We have to work harder to fight these things.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
And making the job even more difficult is liberal white women. Ough,
gosh almighty, is there anything anything.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Worse at all than liberal white women. Hey, hey, old
white men, Well you just hold on to that beer
right there, because let.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Me tell you about Lieutenant Governor Flanagan of Minnesota. Lieutenant
Governor Flanagin is a radicalized progressive. She's an activist, and
an activist in Minnesota gets elected immediately, if not sooner.
(09:32):
Oh hey, Keith Ellison, Peggy Flannagan was the one wearing
T shirts that say protect trans kids that it had
knives on it. Yeah, she's gonna use a knife to
protect the kid. Then she's gonna use the knife to
mutilate the kid. That's Peggy Flanagan. I don't know what
to tell you. If you are supporting trans kids, you
(09:54):
support their mutilation. If you support anything that involves something
called gender affirming care, that's all owed for we want
to slice and dice your kids. It's super creepy. These
people are gross. They should be in jail, their child abusers,
they should be stopped including if they have MD after
their name. She is so trying to defend Somali Americans.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Because of the.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Rampant what we're learning about crime and fraud that has
taken place involving a lot of Samali nationals, certainly not all.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
She is so desperate to show.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
That she cares, that she loves that she holds like
a little quick press conference with some people who are
Somali nationals.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
This is it, Santhe Molikoom. My name's Peggy Flanagan. I
am the Lieutenant governor of Minnesota, and I'm really honored
and humbled to be here with all of you today.
She's wearing a hitjob. She's wearing a hijob.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
If the Islamist desires to get you to submit, there's
Peggy Flanagan saying, look at me. She's wearing a hijob,
which you can argue is a sign of modesty. I
see it is something far different. This is the desire,
(11:32):
and this is what liberals do. You could argue that
you can't paint an entire group of people with a
broad brush because some people are engaged in fraudile activity.
Charge those people there are charges against them, Throw them
in jail, and they're not the country legally deport them.
But dear Lord, you know that there are some Mali
(11:55):
nasuls out there like this is gross?
Speaker 2 (11:58):
What's wrong with you?
Speaker 1 (11:58):
All?
Speaker 2 (11:58):
This country is great. You can say that.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
I'm gonna show how supportive I am by submitting, which
is what they want, which is the goal, which is
written what they want. Somebody wrote on the Twitter, which
I thought was really good, that it turns out they're
obsession with hand Handmaid's Tale is because they love the cosplay.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
They want that.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
They want to be the people who are ordered around,
who are told what to do, when to do it,
how to feel, what to feel, what not to feel.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Ladies, if you're.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Putting on a hit job and you're not a Muslim,
I mean, you're just engaging in full subjugation. But leftist
women do insane things. Liberal white women are nuts. Not apologizing. Somebody,
get me a podium.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Give me another microphone. I'll talk talk about this craziness
all day.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
You don't have to agree with me, But wearing a
job to show solidarity, that's crazy. That's liberal white women.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
The market doing what the market does.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Tony Katz ninety three, WIBC Good morning Doubt.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Features down sixty eight.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
NASDAK future is down one sixteen. Oil price is still
under sixty dollars a barrel on the West Texas creud
fifty eight.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
Dollars and fourteen cents.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
The Brent crud is up over sixty sixty two dollars
and three cents a barrel. The ten year treasury at
four point one point one six that seems to be
going absolutely nowhere. This is where it now lives in breeze,
and the thirty year fixed not surprising six point twenty
five percent.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
I take that back, maybe a.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Touch surprising because's a little it down and at that
four point one you would think it would have gone
back up to sixty three, sixty four, maybe six and
a half.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
That's a lower spread.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
So it's taking a look at some of the economic
data and saying this is all very very good, and
the lowering of the interest rates that had been taking
place is providing us the value we need and the
opportunity we need to come down.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
The counter to this is.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Gold at forty four hundred and fifty one dollars an
ounce and silver at seventy four to fifty seven. Silver
reached a high of eighty three ninety three. Don't ask,
I can't answer it.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Eighty four dollars was the.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Resistance point for silver. I don't know if that'll be
the case. Gold was as high as forty five hundred
and fifty dollars an ounce, all of a sudden grandma's jewelry.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Maybe not as much if a keeps sayking as you thought,
it's it's unbelievable. What is taking place? And yeah, while
I was gone and those GDP numbers came out, what
was it? Four point one percent?
Speaker 1 (15:07):
You understand that four percent GDP is beyond on fire.
When we're talking about a country of our size and
our economic output, it's.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Huge.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
What is imperative is that we don't confuse the issue.
Wall Street Journal had the reporting that if you take
a look at what drives this GDP gross domestic product,
it was not manufacturing, which is a problem.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
And we have been discussing this here.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
Doctor Mattwill, economist, University of Indianapolis, has discussed that the
manufacturing market is contracted and we have seen declines of
manufacturing for nine months.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
It's an issue. Seventy percent, seventy percent of the GDP.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Was a mix of AI spend meaning AI investment and
consumer spend, which is weird because the consumer, as we
saw from Black Friday, isn't buying on the regular. They're
buying less, and they're buying higher priced luxury items are selling.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
The everyday items are not.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
We can translate this in a couple of ways. People
only had so much money, and they wanted the nicer thing.
They didn't need all the things. That's what we saw
from Black Friday. Now we're seeing it on a larger
level via GDP, which means that people who are wealthy
are spending on luxury items and nobody else is spending
(16:51):
on anything. The Walmart shopper isn't spending. We're seeing it everywhere.
In my beloved cigars, We're absolutely seeing it there.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
You see it in a host of spots.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Now it's weird. Cigar is a luxury item, one can argue.
But in the everyday things, the spending is not taking place.
It's happening on the higher end. Now I can counter
myself by saying, yeah, but I still see people out
there buying stuff.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Which is true. Which is true.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Nothing about this economy makes me feel good at all.
And you're like Tony you're always an a sayer. It's
so never Trump of you. Look at what the numbers did.
Everything's going great.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
I think everything can go great.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
I think the next six months, as I've been saying,
are very, very tough. Now I'm starting to get back
up on that. I think these next six.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Months are not easy.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
I think these next six months have a possibility of
being rough. I cannot wait to be wrong. I hope
to be wrong.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
I don't think I am. These numbers don't tell me
that everything's fantastic.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
What happens when AI spend AI investment decreases by ten percent?
Speaker 2 (18:15):
What happens where else is the engine?
Speaker 1 (18:21):
If people don't invest in AI, what do they do
if they do nothing? What happens when GDP goes from
four percent to three percent, which I'm not going to
say is the end of the world. That's how it's
gonna get painted. And you still have these massive gold
and silver prices which are hedges against inflation because the
(18:44):
marketplace believes it's still there. So Trump needs these deals
that have been made, trade deals to start showing results
in the next six months.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Once they do, forget.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
It, it's gonna be beyond success. These trade deals, show
shovels in the ground, jobs and money. People are gonna
be thrilled. You'll feel it, but it's not there yet.
That's why I think it's gonna be rough, because you're
(19:22):
taking on faith that all these things are gonna come,
these big tax refunds that's got best and the Treasury
Secretary is talking about I can't wait. I could use
a big tax refund. It has to happen first. Can't
tell me about it. Although I'm glad he's talking about it.
You have to show me. We're not gonna see that
until what Q two. I'm not gonna see that till.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
April May June. So right now things don't look great.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
I think it's a rough six months, but all the
opportunity is there to make it fantastic. Everything is poised.
It's gonna go one way or the other. We're gonna
discuss this. January twenty fourth, Downtown Indianapolis Height Regency Tickets

It's sign play America's favorite game. What the heck is
that television theme song? Here is how here's how we
play our game. Our producer Carl has selected a television
theme song from yesteryear.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
I have to guess what it is.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
Sometimes I do get it wrong, but I have a
chance to redeem myself with Redemption Monday. Producer Carl plays
it again and I have to guess what it is.
I can get help from the chat room.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
But that is all. I cannot get help from social media.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
And I can phone a friend, which I will do
right now because I missed Matt.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Bear so much. Bear is my phoner friend. Matt Bear?
What is this television theme song? That's supermarket sweet Tony
like it after the Sun goes down? As your clue? Yeah,
I know, I know.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
I believe that if we got this wrong, that this
was the theme to Baywatch.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Nights, You've been redeemed. Look at me, producer Kylon says,
I've been redeemed. Play that again, You've been redeemed.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Kylon needs to do that in a much more like
like a fairy Hobbit Frodo kind of style.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
That's not Kylin, that's not Kylin. No, it's Ai. Yeah,
you need to hire Kylon. What the hell's wrong with you?
Thanks for replacing this, Carl Right.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
We have actors and voice actor galore on this date.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
David Wood, our.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Program director, Kylon. I've done audio books and here you
are using AI.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
Well, you know I can't afford Kylon. She's a pro.
Maybe you don't know how to negotiate it. Verry can't
help it. That's Kyl. Yeah, that's Kyler. I know.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Admittedly I did use AI for Jews playing Christmas tunes,
and I appreciate everybody who enjoyed the the segment that
we were doing before Christmas, when we were playing America's
favorite song.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
Juice playing Christmas but strings and bells. It's a holly
jolly knight doing that radio. Ugh, it's totally into the group.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Even my Sugar with Cavell and start to move now
and putting that together, I said, all right, it has
to include the word my sugar.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
And this, that and the other, and it came up
with it.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
The AI is creepy and spectacular, but I do not
want uh.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
It's taking.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
The the the career of of Kylon, one of our producers.
So so next time you need voiceover, it has to
be Kylon, thank you, or anybody at UH at.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
W ib C just has to be one of our people.
It has to be that way. Wait, is Kylon in studio?
She's here? Yeah, she's my relief.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
Oh you're filling in for producer Kevin for uh for
Ken long casey. Yes, ah, she is not you, I
mean for Kendall Casey in today.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Are they still on vacation. I don't know who's in.
Who's in for Kendall and Casey, Craig Collins your favorite
fill in. Craig is filling Craig is filling in for Kendall.
K I don't approve of any of that. I'm gonna
say it right now.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no.
I want Craig to be successful. I enjoy Craig quite
a bit. I want him to be doing radio and
having a ball. But no, no, no, if he's Philly,
if he's not gonna be on wiv C, he fills
in for us, and that's it.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
I can't. I don't approve of the rest of it.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
That's just a bunch of nonsense that Kylin, I see
see what I'm doing. I'm trying to protect you and
your dollars. I'm trying to protect the brand that is
Tony Katz in the Morning News. He's with us, and
I'm not letting him dance with other people. That's a
bunch of bull crap. It's nonsense. It's a bunch of whoey.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
And if I'm gonna have to go to war with
w IVC. Well, that's what I'm gonna have to do.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
And there's going to be uh there, there's gonna be
weaponry and maybe a stink bomb.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
I don't know what's gonna happen. This is this is,
this is happening. Can't approve of that.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
So Craig is in for Kendall and Casey, so you
can tune in for that. And Kylin is producing for
Craig who's in for Kendall.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
And Casey, so you can listen to that.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
And then I'm back at noon with Tony Katz today.
Governor Mike Braun scheduled to be with me on Tony
Kats today, so you want to tune in for that.
He was going at Governor Tim Walls for the fraud
taking place in Minneapolis all across Minnesota. So now I
want to know what he's gonna do about it. Here
(26:42):
are we looking into it? Is there fraud right here
in Indiana? Let us ask and answer the question. I
got a couple other questions for him that we'll get to.
He's scheduled to be with us on Tony Katz today.
Looking forward to that. You're gonna join me January twenty fourth.
