(00:45):
Welcome to Transmissions,
the podcast that wishes we
lived in New Zealand right now.
I'm your host Charles,
AKA big C and I'm joined by
the excellent transmission team.
Jeremy AKA Yakko.
What?
Sorry, Charles.
I'm still working on my bracket.
How you doing?
(01:08):
I'm good.
How are you?
I'm excited about the NCAA
basketball tournament again.
Cause my team's in it.
Let's talk transformers.
as always we start the show
by thanking our donatrons
those lovely people who
support us on patreon and
paypal thank you all so
much for continuing to
(01:29):
contribute to the show and
help us keep it going if
you are not a donate run
and like to become one just
go to
transmissionspodcast.com support and
that's where you can sign
up uh we've got lots of
perks including bonus content
like our bonus show we like
big bots uh that appears to
be on a permanent hiatus so
(01:51):
uh but maybe permanent
hiatus until a new episode
shows up all right fair
enough I'm optimistic okay
I don't know why but okay
But yeah, if you'd like more big bots,
just write to Daryl at
(02:13):
transmissionspodcast.com or
also message Dr. Pants in the Discord.
Tell him to get cracking
with those new big bots.
Hopefully he'll be back.
But what is back and is no
longer on hiatus is our
Transformers Live Play RPG podcast,
Empire of Rust.
So this week we have a brand
(02:34):
new episode of Empire of Rust.
This is episode one hundred thirty one,
Journey to the Center of My Heart.
And that is available right
now at
transmissionspodcast.com slash rust.
So if you are a Donatron,
you got the bonus version
of this episode last week.
And next week,
you'll get the bonus version
(02:54):
of episode one thirty two a week early.
So, you know, that's just a little perk.
But for everyone else,
you can listen to episode
one thirty one right now.
And yes,
Empire of Rust is back to its
regular schedule.
So we will continue on with
the heroes of Cybertron
continuing to fight the good fight.
(03:15):
And of course,
we've still got our Skybound
Transformers number one
comic with artwork by the
cover art by E.J.
Su.
That is available at our website,
transmissionspodcast.com slash comic.
And you can pick that up
directly and we will ship
that right out to you.
And of course, it's March.
(03:37):
We've still got our Toy
Hacks promo code for the month of March.
That code is PLAYBACK.
So you can use that code
PLAYBACK for fifteen
percent off everything at ToyHacks.com.
So that promo code cannot be
combined with any other promo codes,
but you can use it with
your RoboPoints if you have
some at ToyHacks.com.
But yeah,
(03:57):
make use of that code for another
two weeks until the end of March.
All right,
let's get in started with the show.
And we're going to start off with Azblab.
(04:33):
I didn't know which one to play.
I figure we're talking about
Omega Prime first,
so I'm playing that one.
Fair enough.
Some lucky bastards in New
Zealand got their Omega Primes in hand.
Don't know if it was an
accidental thing or not.
(04:55):
We haven't seen anything from Hasbro.
But these aren't people that...
worked at a factory and just
took it these are people
that got it delivered they
have the official packaging
you know so I mean from
everything I can tell it's
legit so of course what are
you going to do if you get
something early like this
you're going to take a
(05:15):
whole bunch of pictures and
post them online so um let
me get the the credit where
it is due to the um
the two people here.
The first one is, um, on Twitter.
Quay, Quay, Q W E Y W E Y. Uh,
(05:39):
that appears to be the
first person that got one because their,
their post was, um,
but let's see what I have right here.
Post was, haven't seen anyone, um,
talk about getting their has
a lot of bigger prime my
the first person to get it
in apparently yes at least
the first person to post
about it online uh so we
(06:03):
have um we have some pictures and
and we have like here's the
box and um like all the
sides of the box the art
looks fantastic I think
it's marcello mater did the
(06:24):
art okay yeah yeah he's
he's been doing a lot of
the art yeah I'm pretty
sure he did the art for
this and just looks great
and then a big ass sword blue bolts
I love that they kept the
Japanese lettering on the
side of Optimus.
It's just really cool.
(06:46):
And size comparison there with,
I think that's the Rise of
the Beast Optimus.
Yeah, I think so.
Yeah.
And we got Ultra Magnus here
with the chrome.
And you can kind of see them all together.
Big, chunky set.
And then we have, what was this?
The Headmaster.
Oh, this is Cerebros, I think.
(07:08):
uh isn't he something he's
like emissary or something
yeah emissary that was it
yeah um and then we can
just see some of the
different modes so I think
um it's really cool that
they got it in hand here
and then we have um some more pictures
From, uh,
this was whether user displaced
(07:32):
zebra and also in New Zealand.
Uh,
so maybe it was whoever is handling the
New Zealand, um, part of the,
the has left.
I don't think it's a, um,
it was Hasbro pulse there.
(07:53):
maybe they jumped the gun.
But here,
Display Zebra has the Omega Prime
with their collection of
all the original R.I.D.
toys.
So, basically,
this looks like nearly a full cast.
It's pretty impressive with
(08:14):
what they have here.
Yeah.
So...
I just seeing this as like
reignited my excitement for
this has lab not wait to get it in hand.
So hopefully this means that
the rest of the world will
(08:34):
start getting it soon.
No idea but you know, it's clearly done.
So what are you waiting for Hasbro?
Next up, on to Leo Kaiser.
We have the next bot that
(08:56):
they're featuring, and this is Kill Bison,
which he is the right leg,
I guess left leg if you're facing him.
And we can,
this just kind of goes into him
with the vehicle mode.
his robot mode,
his little bison breast
(09:20):
force slash chest force guy,
and then holding the spear.
So really cool that they're
doing all this.
And then since this is Leo Kaiser,
there's an update.
And let me refresh this tab real quick.
(09:41):
Eight days, one hour,
fifty seven minutes and
eighteen seconds as of right now.
Seventeen thousand four
hundred and thirty backers.
And going down to the.
Tears were waiting for eighteen thousand,
I would be willing to bet
that between us recording
(10:02):
this on Sunday and
Wednesday when this comes out.
they will be at or even
closer to the eighteen thousand.
So.
Hopefully that happens because.
I think.
(10:23):
If you take out the Unicron,
because I know some
shenanigans happened to get
that one past the goal,
I think all the other ones
have hit all three of their
goals for the Transformers headline.
So see if this one does it
in eight days and we'll
have an update next week as
it is going to be almost
(10:44):
done by when we record it
and done when next week's
episode comes out.
So I think that is what we
got for has blab this week.
All right.
Yeah.
I still have not backed that Leo Kaiser.
I, but I, I still, I mean, I know,
(11:04):
I know people have,
have pointed out lots of issues with it,
but I'm still, I'm still kind of,
I still kind of want it.
Um, so I will, I will, uh,
make a decision before the
next episode we record and
then I'll let you guys know if I decide.
(11:25):
Cause I, yeah, I have all the has lab.
I have not,
I have all the has lab
transformers projects I have back.
So.
I think I got to keep that streak up.
Keep the Shelton of Haslap.
Stay tuned next week.
We will see if Charles backed it or not.
(11:47):
All right.
Well, let's get on with the toy talk.
We got some quick hits.
All right,
so we've got a couple of
reissues coming up.
So these were Generation
Selects figures that were a limited run,
(12:08):
and Hasbro is doing a
second run of these figures
to capitalize on everyone who missed out.
So if you were looking for
the Generation Selects nacelle,
which is a tetrajet seeker
in blue and white colors,
Or the Legacy Evolution Nova Prime.
(12:35):
Which is a... It's kind of a
retool of the War for
Cybertron Siege Ultra Magnus.
And retooled as Nova Prime
with the wings and everything.
So if you...
Missed out on these figures
and we're looking for them.
They are being re-released.
(12:56):
They're up for pre-order now
and should be out later
this year in November.
So Nacelle is thirty four
ninety nine and Nova Prime
is fifty four ninety nine.
So Nacelle, I believe Nacelle is a deluxe,
right?
So thirty four ninety nine for deluxe is.
(13:19):
That's inflation for you.
But Nova Prime, I believe,
isn't that was a leader class.
So fifty four ninety nine
for a leader class.
That's that's only like a
five dollar bump in the.
regular leader class price
point I think so I'm I'm
guessing that they made
fewer of the nacelle
(13:40):
initially or it costs more
to get that one back in the
production maybe I don't
know but I was wondering
doesn't dna design have
sets for both of these or
at least nova prime
Yeah,
definitely DNA Designs does have a
set for Nova Prime.
I don't know if they have one for Nacelle.
But, I mean, since Nacelle is a Seeker,
if they made a set for the
(14:02):
War for Cybertron Siege Seekers,
then this... I thought I
remember they did something
to kind of bring the top of
it up to a point.
Oh, yeah.
Was that maybe that was toy hacks?
I don't know.
Was it?
Okay, well, look around for that.
But definitely,
I think the the set for Nova Prime,
(14:24):
I'm pretty sure Dr. Pants got that.
Yeah, and I think you're right.
If I remember right,
it looked really good.
And in the chat,
Alex is correcting us that
the Seekers were Voyager class.
So the War for Cybertron
Siege Seekers were Voyager class.
So I guess it's not quite as
painful for the price point here.
(14:46):
But still, I mean...
For me, I never liked this Seeker design.
This particular Tetrajet Seeker design,
I was never a fan of this
just because the body is right.
If you turn it upside down,
you can see the Seeker
robot mode chest right there.
(15:06):
It's kind of like not a great,
doesn't really cover up the
robot mode very well.
And then, I mean, we have,
you needed the upgrade kit
to make the point of the
top of the Tetrajet a little bit more,
you know,
look thin like pointy to to
look like the the the
animation model um so yeah
(15:27):
so I mean I think this is
just not this is not my
favorite seeker design but
yeah here it is available
for pre-order if you missed
it and you want it
All right, well, next up,
we have images of some new
blokies transformers.
This is the shining version series three.
(15:48):
And you can see on the screen here,
we have all six of them
that have been shown off.
They are IDW minor Megatron,
IDW Orion packs.
with his face place plate
apparently so he's not the
earlier version that I
thought I thought he didn't
(16:09):
have I looked at the
pictures I don't think he
has a face plate that looks
like he has a face plate I
don't know I'll look at the
closer picture in a second
but then we have g one
bumblebee it's a new design
the bumblebee and comes with a spike
Um,
shatterglass ultra Magnus G one Ram jet
and IDW Tarn,
and then a IDW minor Megatron with drill.
(16:32):
That's the chase figure with metallic, um,
deco.
The Tarn also does include
two interchangeable heads,
one with a mask, one with no mask.
So here we have some closeups.
I think these look really good.
Oh, and you're right.
The, the, um, optimist does have a face.
(16:54):
That's okay, because he's Orion Pax.
Orion Pax can have a face.
Optimus has to have a faceplate.
Orion Pax can have a face.
It's fine.
This does remind me more of
the Transformers One Orion Pax.
I guess it's both,
but it's just the large chestplate.
Maybe this was a remold from
(17:15):
their Transformers One series.
but maybe yeah these these
all have um led lights in
them and stuff and I think
it looks really cool like
the if you look at their
chests they're glowing like
the tarn and the ultra
magnus specifically
megatron's eyes this just
looks really cool so yeah
(17:36):
these these look really
nice yeah I'm gonna try to
find some of these I think
uh they're just fantastic looking
So, I mean, that means, did we,
did we see other, I guess all the shining,
the shining version series
are the ones with LEDs.
Have we looked at previous, like,
(17:56):
like there must be a series one and two,
if this is series three.
I mean,
I'm sure we've mentioned it at some
point.
Okay.
There's just so many of
these blokeys figures that
I can't remember,
like a lot of the earlier
ones when they were like,
I didn't realize how
popular they were becoming.
Yeah, these look really cool.
I like them.
(18:17):
I wish I could see him in stores.
I've not seen any of these in the wild.
Yeah,
I just I also love the or I like the
the love that they're
giving to the IDW care
versions of the characters.
Yeah, showing the popularity there.
All right.
Target has announced they
(18:38):
are doing Transformers
Thursdays for the month of March.
They have a
collector-specific web portal
called the Collector Spot,
where they basically offer
a bunch of collectible toys online.
for anyone who's into collecting toys.
(19:02):
I think they are seeing a
rapid decline in toy sales from kids,
so now they are trying to
cater to all the adult toy
collectors and try to
hopefully make up some
slack in the dropping,
because I guess kids don't
play with toys anymore.
They're all on tablets or
phones or whatever or video games.
(19:24):
So
But, yeah,
so for Transformers Thursdays this month,
it started last week with
March thirteenth,
where they offer Devcon for
a rerelease of Devcon is up for preorder.
And it's as of this recording,
it is still available for preorder.
So you did not miss out on it.
(19:45):
If you are still looking to get it.
And then the next two Thursdays in.
So this coming Thursday,
tomorrow would be March twentieth.
It'll be Studio Series
Perceptor with Ratbat and Ramhorn.
So we talked about that at
Toy Fair as that was announced.
And then the following week,
March twenty seventh,
(20:06):
it'll be the Transformers
Devastation two pack,
which I believe is the the the
the drone guys, I think the, the,
the generic, uh, fighters.
Yeah.
The jet and the car
Decepticon fighters from the,
from the video game.
(20:27):
So, uh, yeah, so you can, uh,
if you are interested in
either of those or
interested in this dev con,
you can pick those up, uh,
just pre-order at the target website.
Um,
I already have dev con that I picked up,
uh,
when it was first released,
so I can pass on this.
But if you missed it and you want it,
it's out there now.
In the chat here,
(20:47):
Alex mentions that they
have several events throughout the year,
lots of exclusives.
So keep it bookmarked.
Interesting.
Yeah.
This collector portal now
also is partnering with other sellers.
It looks like TF Source is
(21:09):
selling a bunch of things
through this portal.
They are offering the
Nemesis Prime AMK Pro Series model kit.
They're offering a Supreme
Class APS-Zero-One Striker
Optimus Prime and a
TA-Zero-Three Ironhide
(21:30):
Bulkhead Transformer.
Which looks to be an
original Transformers
animated Bulkhead figure in blue.
Or teal, I guess.
But yeah,
it's over a hundred and fifty dollars.
That's a bit pricey, so you know.
(21:51):
If you really like Transformers Animated,
maybe that's for you.
I like Transformers Animated.
I just don't like it that much.
Yeah.
But that was interesting
that Target is offering
partnerships with other
retailers to kind of
facilitate this collector portal.
So, yeah, take a look at that.
(22:15):
All right.
And, uh,
I guess this is the season cause
Walmart collector con was also, um,
starting on Friday or Thursday.
Um,
so they have a bunch of different
brands with transformers.
They were, um,
having the age of the primes
deluxe class sideways and
(22:39):
the deluxe class.
Um, what was the, uh, silly on.
Yeah.
And these are both pre-orders.
So, uh, I mean, we've,
we've seen the pictures of
these and this is,
this doesn't click to any other pictures.
So let me go to that directly.
(23:02):
Here's Accelion.
It is twenty four, ninety seven.
Uh, whoops.
Oh, page.
It's reloaded to the Walmart homepage.
So I'm not going to share
that because whatever, but, uh, um,
the sideways is twenty four,
ninety seven and Xcelion is
(23:25):
also twenty four, ninety seven.
So they're both deluxes and, um,
pre-order now and says
arrives by July fifteenth.
So.
Uh, these are, are both good looking,
but I think they're, um,
they're both from,
from the Cybertron series,
but they're in the age of the primes.
(23:46):
So you can check those out
at Walmart site.
We'll have links in the show notes.
And then they also have,
if you collect other series, um,
they have star Wars, Marvel legends,
GI Joe master of the universe, just tons,
you know,
pretty much everything that they.
are selling,
they're highlighting some new pre-orders.
(24:08):
So check that out.
All right, MDLX has another figure.
Looks like they announced
this actually at TFCon last week.
So this is a dirge.
So, you know, one of the conehead seekers.
(24:29):
So this is going to be up for preorder.
Actually, it's as of this,
when this recording is out,
it will already have
preorders go live yesterday,
March eighteenth at nine p.m.
EST.
So.
If you're watching this now,
you should be able to go pre-order it.
We don't have a firm
(24:51):
confirmed price as we're recording this,
but likely it will be one
hundred and twenty dollars
and ship in third quarter
twenty twenty five.
So this you know,
these these figures are
very cool looking as a
stylized G one seeker.
looks really good uh they
are teasing also his
(25:12):
brothers uh ramjet and
thrust will be coming soon
so uh depending on how uh
how deep your your seeker
affinity goes you can get
all three or pick pick and
choose the ones you want um
no yeah I was I always
liked the cone heads I like
(25:33):
the cone heads
better than the original
Seekers a little bit just
because they have, you know,
they at least had a little
bit of different styling
between each one.
They didn't just look
exactly the same with just
a different paint job.
So they each always had a
little bit of a unique style to them.
So I kind of always liked them,
(25:53):
but probably not enough to
get these statues, but they look good.
So it says it's twenty
centimeters and that is
eight inches tall.
Oh, all right.
Darryl Darryl left his tape
measure before he went.
Yeah.
(26:13):
Went out of town.
Sorry, DJ.
DJ Ronan,
I wasn't I wasn't I wasn't
bashing Starscream Star Starscream.
The Starscream, of course,
is the goat seeker.
He's the I didn't hear you
mention Starscream's name one.
(26:37):
All right.
Yes.
DJ Ronan says that they're
not they're not statues.
They're action figures.
Excuse me.
Sorry.
Yeah, the ones that are the much bigger,
more detailed one.
Those are statues.
The DNA design has some
upgrade kits for MPG super general.
(26:58):
This is has replacement hands.
Stable weapon holding hands
that will hold the weapons
better than the original ones.
Extendable arms that will
enhance the vehicle mode
aesthetics with a more
balanced proportion.
And have a variety of hand options.
You can see here on the screen,
(27:18):
you get your different options.
hands or I guess they have
the same two sets of hands
but either in with red
fingers or blue fingers
whichever one you want um
but you know you can mix
and match if you wanted um
pre-orders start march
(27:38):
twenty-eighth and estimated
release date of july twenty
twenty-five so here we can see the um
the stable weapon holding hands here,
you have one hand holding
the gun and the other hand coming up,
holding the one, the other hand steady,
you know, be more realistic, but also it,
(28:01):
it,
The grip for holding the
weapon is a little bit
better than the original.
And then you can do some of
the different poses.
And here's how the arms look.
The original had the arms
poking much higher on the trailer.
And these new ones that make
(28:24):
it extendable bring it back
down closer to what you got
with the original toy in
terms of proportions.
And here we have a side view of, of that.
So I think this looks really great.
Uh, I mean,
the figure already looked
really good in my opinion,
but that's just, you know,
(28:44):
DNA design does great work.
So this, um,
just made it look even better.
Yep.
Cool.
Okay, last item for quick hits.
We've got more stuff from New Zealand.
So the New Zealand Mint is
releasing another,
(29:06):
their Agoro brand of
Transformers' fortieth
anniversary I don't know
why it's not it's just
G-One silver coins.
But yeah, so we've got Starscream,
we've got Grimlock,
and we've got Soundwave coins.
So
(29:26):
If you are collecting Transformers coins,
you can get these.
They have a denomination of two dollars,
but they're selling them
for one hundred and twenty dollars.
So one hundred nineteen dollars,
I should say.
So if you really want to
collect these coins,
it's one hundred nineteen
dollars per piece.
(29:46):
I don't I don't know if
that's New Zealand money or U.S.
money.
Oh, that I don't know.
Probably New Zealand money.
So, yeah,
I don't know what the exchange rate is.
Hopefully it's less in U.S.
dollars.
So I guess we'll have to see.
(30:07):
And they are only minting
one thousand nine hundred
eighty four of each of these coins.
So.
They're limited, quite limited.
But.
Yeah, if you want,
if you want to own a Transformers coin.
There it is.
(30:28):
Oh, it's a hundred and nineteen USD.
It says on the side here.
Oh, okay.
Never mind then.
You can see them.
They're ultra rare mintage.
(30:48):
Yeah, not for me.
Apparently the other ones
are still available,
so they're not going to be
that hard to get.
Yep.
Alright, well, that's all for Quick Hits,
so let's move on to Trips to the Store.
(31:15):
The Transmissions Podcast
will return after these messages.
And Trips to the Store is
powered by your friends at TeePublic,
or our friends at TeePublic,
I should say.
You can get all our
Transformers shirt or
Transmissions shirts and
merchandise at
transmissionspodcast.com slash TeePublic.
(31:36):
Anything you buy from
TeePublic through that link
will help out the show.
So you don't have to just
buy Transmissions merchandise.
Just buy anything from TeePublic,
any kind of shirts or cool
items you want from TeePublic.
Just make sure you use that link,
transmissionspodcast.com.
Slash T-Public.
And I'm going to go first
(31:57):
for what I got this week.
First,
I'm not wearing a transmission shirt
this week.
I got a shirt for my birthday.
This is from my kids.
And it's an old NES
controller with a walker.
So, yeah, I'm old.
(32:18):
If Daryl were here,
he'd be making a lot of jokes.
So glad he's not here.
Not really.
We miss you there.
Sorry.
All right.
Let's show off the stuff we got this week.
First off, comics.
I finally got to the comic book store.
It's been a while.
(32:38):
It's been like a couple of
months since I made it to
the comic book store.
So you're being like me.
Yeah.
It was a lot, yeah.
So here they are.
Transformers number seventeen.
So, got that.
G.I.
Joe number four.
(32:58):
Void Rivals number seventeen
just came out this week.
And, of course,
Transformers number
eighteen also just came out this week.
Or last week, I should say,
as we're recording this.
And we are reviewing
Transformers number
eighteen in alt mode this week.
So, look forward to that.
And I also got something in the mail.
(33:21):
So I had ordered this a few months ago.
James Roberts is continuing
his series of More Than
Meets the Eye notebooks and, you know,
these books he collected,
a bunch of his writing process.
So I picked up The Lost Light Notebooks,
Volume Five and Volume Six.
(33:44):
So the More Than Meets the
Eye notebooks were volumes
one through four.
So he changed it to the Lost
Light because that's, you know,
when the comic went to
season three of More Than Meets the Eye,
it became Lost Light.
So he changed that for his notebooks.
I also got included with that.
I got the More Than Meets
the Eye script books.
(34:04):
So volume one, Elegant Chaos,
and volume two, The Everlasting Voices.
all the scripts from those
uh those comic storylines
got him here so yeah I was
a big fan of James Roberts
and all the work he did uh
with IDW so happy to
(34:26):
support him with uh all
these books here so yeah
that's really cool yeah
I've got a couple of those
I think boss fight or the
more than ECI book
Yeah,
so if and if I think he sells them at
cons too.
So if you if you happen to
see him at a con, I mean,
(34:47):
he's at he's at TF nation every year,
but if he gets out the TF
con every other year or so.
So if you if you see him at TF con,
and you're interested,
you can pick them up there.
All right, Jeremy, what do you got?
Nothing new.
I have not made it to my
comic shop in a while.
(35:09):
But I did pull some stuff
off the shelf because with Daryl not here,
we had to have some toys in
terms of stores.
I got some old figures.
I've shown these off before,
but they're just so cool
that I'm showing them off again.
These are the War for Cybertron figures.
These are from Takara.
(35:30):
And this was a two-pack.
The first one is Nemesis Prime.
It's not in the game.
But it's your black and teal
repaint of the War for Cybertron Optimus.
And...
It came with this black
repaint of the War for
Supertron Megatron that I
(35:50):
think this one is just gorgeous with.
I mean,
the camera probably doesn't do it
justice with the shininess
of his purple on here.
It just looks fantastic.
And normally,
he's just more of the gray in the game.
And this is when Takara was
doing the really,
really good paint jobs that
(36:12):
differed from Hasbro.
And then they did these black repaints.
And I love the way these look.
And they look so good on my shelf.
So that is what I got to
show off this week.
Nice.
(36:32):
Yeah,
I got when War for Cybertron came out,
I got my son that three pack.
It was like Optimus,
Megatron and Bumblebee in a three pack.
And those are those are nice figures,
nice toys, but they were for my son.
So he played with them.
Yeah.
You know, they they did not survive.
(36:52):
Yeah.
Well, I mean.
you can't really complain too much if it,
if you got it as like off the shelf or,
you know, at the store.
Yeah.
It reminds me of played with these.
I got, you know, these are Japanese,
they're collector prices.
So I would have been more upset with that.
(37:15):
Um,
That's why with my toys that
my shelves are always a mess.
I'll clean them up.
And then my son comes down
and fiddles with stuff and
the less expensive stuff is lower.
So I can't really get too mad.
It's when he goes up like, uh, there,
my MPO one, if he got that down,
I'd be a little bit upset
because Peter Cohen signed the box.
(37:36):
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
Alex in the chat mentions
that with the new molds,
they do have the Studio
Series Gamer Edition versions of these.
Would love to see them do
this paint job with those.
I mean,
Hasbro's looking for ways to save
money and still sell toys
people will buy.
(37:57):
People will buy black
repaints of these figures,
especially a black and teal
Nemesis Prime.
He will sell.
Yeah.
All of them to Jeremy might just be to me,
but yeah, he will sell.
(38:19):
All right.
Well, that's all for trips to the store.
Let's move on with the rest of the show.
We now return to the
transmissions podcast.
All right.
And we will finish up with some feedback.
(38:43):
All right.
So we just got one piece of feedback.
This is from DMC,
two thousand eight on
YouTube from episode six
thirty three last week.
And this is referencing, you know,
we talked a little bit
about there's a lot of
third party devastators coming out.
We've got the Hasbro Devastator,
all these third party
devastators that we saw
from the third party panel
(39:05):
from TF Con last week.
So DMC, two thousand eight rights.
It's twenty twenty five and
there are still half a
dozen third party devastators on deck.
Feels like this has been
going on for a decade now.
Laughing emoji.
Yeah.
I feel like it's been longer
than that because I feel
like there was at least two
(39:25):
or three third-party
Devastators out when I was
listening to podcasts and
before we had even started the show.
Yeah.
So that's been, what, twelve,
thirteen years now?
Yep, exactly.
(39:45):
yeah I mean I agree I mean
as we've been doing this
show we have seen so many
third-party devastators
come out it seems yeah I
mean I mean I can't I it's
devastator is an iconic
character I mean he's
almost as iconic as like optimus prime so
Can imagine why people want
to keep getting, you know,
and Devastator is also a
(40:06):
figure that is interesting because,
you know,
it's originally a bit janky because,
you know,
so all these custom pieces to
put it together,
like it doesn't really like
hold together as a, you know,
as a combiner.
It's kind of a combining system.
yeah exactly so there's all
everyone wants to improve
(40:26):
upon that original design
and make it like a you know
quote unquote real combiner
so I can see why there's
there's a desire to
continue messing with it so
yeah I don't I don't think
the I don't think the
combiner uh the devastator
combiner wars are ever
going to be over it's just
going to it's just going to
be future and future iterations coming so
(40:53):
But thanks, DMC, for writing in.
And that's it for feedback this week.
So that will take us to the
end of this episode of Transmissions.
As always,
we want to thank our Masterpiece
Donatrons.
These are the folks who
continue to support the
podcast at our highest level on Patreon.

else who is watching and listening.
All our Donatrons,
