In the first segment, Ben and Mark spoke with Lionel Sanders for the 5th time on this podcast. They broke down his first place finish and what it means to win a Long Distance World Championship on Canadian soil.
In the second segment, Ben and Mark chatted with the 2nd place woman, Helle Frederiksen, the day before the ITU long distance world championship. She talked about battling injury, the recovery process, racing for a world title in Penticton and her future plans.
