Justin Topa was a free agent on the heals of a rough 2018 in the Texas Rangers organization. Options weren't plentiful. That all changed one afternoon while throwing live BP to a few Harvard freshman. After blowing up a radar gun the coaches decided to film the session. After posting the video on Twitter the Milwaukee Brewers picked up the phone. Fast forward to September 1st, 2020 and Justin found himself on the mound in Miller Park throwing for the Beer Makers. His east to west slide and filthy two seamer flummoxed MLB batters all the way into October. We sat down with Justin to chronicle his journey. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
