Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hudson River Radio dot com. This is Travis Walton and
you are listening to UFO Headquarters. Beautiful headquarters, and welcome
indeed for all of you fans of our show, of
(00:24):
our show music. We have the actual men who wrote
it today who will be sitting in for Mike, Gary Treibert.
Thank you Gary for being here Island.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
My pleasure always.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
To thank you. Yeah. Trying to get us Mike and
Brian and I coordinating our schedules is kind of like
herding cats. That's h e r D, not h u
r T. That's a That was another show if you
hadn't caught our UFOs and Cats show. But anyway, so
(00:59):
as this is, we're recording this in early October. I
thought we'd do some Halloween sightings, so we're going to
go all over and Gary, I know you've had quite
a lot of experiences, so if something sounds like you
want to comment on it, jump right in and all right.
(01:21):
So I got a lot of these from the new
Fork database that's the National UFO Reporting Center and new
Fork yep forking A. Yes, there you go, and it
has you can search by location, by date. They do
(01:45):
an amazing job. So we're going way back to nineteen
eighty three. Of course, on Halloween, October thirty first, about
seven pm in Rochester, New Hampshire. And this one I
chose because it's kind of interesting. It was an elongated
diamond shape and that's fairly rare, right, do you ever
(02:09):
see a diamond shape one?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
No?
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Yeah, So I'll just read this. The witness is in
his house and said I heard an unusual humming almost
at B flat minor. Okay, let's write let's stop Brian
and Gary.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Bat because that's a chord, not a note.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
I don't know, but obviously I had some musical background,
but I've never had anybody tell.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Me it sounds like he wanted to show you he
had perfect pitch or something.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
But though.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
It's yeah, those UFOs and there B flat.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Well you know, it's also close to be flat, believe
it or not. Usually the humming of the old fluorescent
tube lights when the battle starts to go into buzzes,
that's around to be flat. So even if you're not
paying attention, it's like in the back of your mind
you're hearing it.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Okay, I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Yeah, that's a great point.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
But it's pretty close.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
No, but that's then everyone's heard that, so we can
we know what that hum is. I'm you know, even
if he wasn't technically correct, I'm very glad he added that,
because right, it gives you some context. Okay. So he
was looking out the window, the window of the living room,
which was just a little above ground level. I saw
(03:44):
cars pulled off both sides of the street on Rochester
Hill Road in Rochester, New Hampshire, so everybody can Google
map that. Following the sound of the hum, my eyes
moved upward Approxley twenty five to thirty feet above my
front yard. That is what we technically call damn low.
(04:09):
I mean twenty five feet above your yard was a
diamond shaped, platinum or silver disk like object about the
size of a school bus, just hovering. Different color lights
lined the perimeter of the craft and were mostly shades
(04:29):
of blue, lavender, yellows, and greens. So I have to
stop there from them. I've never heard anyone describe lights
on a UFO as lavender.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Either, but I'd like to see it, have you me too.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
It seemed to remain there for a long time, which
was probably only about thirty minutes. What only about thirty minutes?
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, I usually say thirty.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Second yeah, yeah, yeah, when thirty seconds can change your life. Unfortunately,
that's it for the report. You would have hoped in
that thirty minutes he maybe could have run and got
a camera or I don't, I don't know, but clearly
it had a lot of witnesses. As he said, I
(05:21):
saw cars pulled off both sides of the street on
Rochester Hill Road, so I would yeah, I'd love some
time to go on Rochester Hill Road. Get idea of
the perspective. You know, are you up on it? It's
called hill Road. I'm assuming you have a good view.
(05:42):
But who had a better view than this guy who
had UFO the size of a bus twenty five feet
over his front lawn.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah that's really freaky.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
No, yeah, yeah, So I thought that was a great one.
And again Halloween night. Okay, so now we're going to Omaha, Arkansas.
Did you know there was more than one Omaha? Brian?
Did you know how many Omahas have you been to?
You travel a lot.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
I don't think I've been to. I wasn't going to
say to Omaha, but neither of them.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Now, Well, then apparently you. Of course, me being me,
I had to look up how many Omaha. There are
eight towns in the US named Omaha. Six of them
are in the Midwest, one's in Texas, and one is
in Virginia.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
So it's possible that our visitors may have put the
wrong Omaha in their GPS.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Could be actually get.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
A ups the universal positioning.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
There you go, there you go. I see where this
show's going already. Yeah, no, no, no, no please. So
but I was thinking, what if somebody wants to do like, uh,
you know, a trap old blog going to all eight
Omaha's I mean, right road.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Again, the most of them are in the Midwest.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Yeah, so once you get Virginia out of the way,
you go to the Midwest, do those six and then
down to Texas. But since we've digressed this far, maybe
i'd better get back nineteen eighty seven. So I did
an eighty three and eighty seven, which kind of bookmarks
the book ends. The great wave in the Hudson Valley
(07:33):
was around eighty three to eighty seven. You know, of course,
it wasn't a clear cut start stop. So Omaha, Arkansas
is in the far northern part of the state, not
too far south of Branson, Missouri. So for people who
might have some idea where that is. Again, Halloween night,
(07:55):
six thirty pm. And this I don't know if it's
a man or a woman. Said. My mom and I
were driving from Harrison, Arkansas to Springfield, Missouri. I was
driving on Highway sixty five north almost to Omaha, Arkansas.
It was a nice night and I had my sun
(08:17):
roof open. I was watching the traffic when I noticed
it was slowing down. I asked my mom if she
could see the reason for the traffic slow down. Now,
I can't really remember who said, look at that thing
flying over the mountain. We were just in awe of
what we were seeing. The traffic coming and going from
(08:41):
the state line had come to a complete stop. I mean,
how many times have we heard that, particularly in the
Hudson Valley right every six hours? Yeah, well that would
be some like the l Ie every two minutes. But still,
you know a lot of these highways, like Route eighty four,
(09:05):
it's dangerous to stop your car. It really speaks to
how unbelievable these sightings were to make you risk your
safety to stop to look at it. So she said
it was an airship, dark gray in color, shaped like
a triangle that was flying over the mountain with a
(09:28):
white light from the center, as if it was scanning
the countryside searching for something. It was like three football
fields wide as well as long.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Now we often hear the size of a football field,
but three, so we're talking somewhere around a thousand feet
wide and long. To put that in perspective, a seven
forty seven is two two hundred and eleven feet from
wingtip to wingtip, so you'd have to we're talking five
(10:06):
seven forty sevens lined up to Yeah. Amazing. And I
also loved the part about the white light in the
center scanning the countryside. I mean that even goes back
to the mysterious airships in the early nineteen hundreds. People
(10:26):
would say it was like a search light looking for something.
So she says, as it was flying above us very slowly,
there was in large letters, no noise coming from it.
We were amazed. As we were looking at it through
the sun roof, my mom was commenting on how low
(10:49):
it was flying. It was solid. It looked too amazing
to be true. The light that was searching the mountains
and the field turned off right before it got to
the highway. We sat there just watching it. And she says,
again there was no noise when it flew over us.
(11:11):
Everybody just sat there and watched it until it flew
out of sight. That night will be forever ingrained in us. Well.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Yeah, and was it just floating or I going?
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Well, she says, it was going very very slowly, so
it seemed to be controlled flight.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
But and she didn't see how high it was.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
No, just that the mother said how low it looked.
And if you're sitting in a car looking up at
this through the sun roof, it probably I would imagine
it filled the whole sky.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
And yeah, I shipped that size. It's hard to tell
how hot, high up it was or low.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Yeah. So so we were talking beforehand. If you in
nineteen eighty seven changed this story to say it was
Route eighty four in Brewster, New York, yeah, it would
fit exactly. So, I you know, this is very interesting.
You know, I don't I can't recall. No, I will
(12:20):
take that back. Some people did describe seeing craft then
the size of a football stadium or a baseball stadium
rather than a football field, so that may equate to
you know, the thousand feet or more, but that's really rare.
(12:41):
And so as this was happening in the Hudson Valley
of New York, it was happening in Little Omaha, Arkansas
as well.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Almost the same thing. Yeah, because I saw that huge
craft in I'm not sure when it was eighty five
ive or something somewhere around there. It came over to
my house over my house I told you about several times,
and that was huge. I can't even let's say how
big it was because you know, it was above the
(13:15):
trees around my house and the wings just covered the
entire sky. Wow, the body of it. So anyway, it's
very similar.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Oh, Abso so you know exactly what they're they're talking about. Yeah,
with this all right, So why don't we take our
first break and come back for more Halloween sightings.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Hudson River Radio dot.
Speaker 5 (13:42):
Com Hudson River Radio dot Com subsidiary of Glacier Entertainment LLC.
Lasting the competition in New York's Hudson Valley.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
We are back from our first break, and so Gary
Halloween sightings. I didn't realize they're were as many.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Me either, but you know, I'm not surprised.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Yeah, I think whoever's doing this, there's I think we
did a whole show on the sightings during drawing a Blank.
The Irish holiday, the Saint Patrick's Day happens. Yeah, I
should remember that happens to be my birthday. I try
(14:35):
to block out that. I am so sick of getting
green elf Leprechaun cards for my birthday. I tried, and
I can just see it now, everybody's going to be
sending me a Leprechaun card in March. But a lot
of sightings happen then, because I think that who's ever
doing this realizes they're going to think everybody's drunk or Halloween,
(15:00):
they're going to think it's a prank, or nobody's going
to take it seriously. It just seems that way too
many happen on you know, dates like that. So now
we're going up to Brampton, Ontario, nineteen ninety eight, nine
twenty four PM. And I picked this because it's interesting
(15:25):
and also it had an aura or haze around the object.
Now the one you experienced in Wallkill, did that have
a fog or a haze be egg shaped?
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (15:40):
It did? What it is? Yeah? Can you describe that?
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Well? The one I distinctly remember was it was over
by the airport by Cole Belt. It was. I followed
it in the sky and I came around a curve
and it was on the ground off to my left,
not very far away, and I can't tell exactly how far,
(16:04):
but anyway, Yeah, there was a myst that was kind
of swirling around the craft.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
And yeah, I have no yeah, I have no idea
what that is. But quite a lot of sightings have that.
So okay, So this woman says, on Halloween, October thirty first,
nineteen ninety eight, my best friend and I were coming
(16:33):
back from trigg or Treating about nine thirty pm or so.
We were walking down a sidewalk on a long street,
and on our left was a forest and a flea market,
and on the right was somehow so we were carrying
on a conversation when I looked over in the field
and saw what looked like a circle thing, and it
(16:56):
was about as big as the moon from far away.
I don't as big as the moon from far away.
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Some isn't someone always far away?
Speaker 1 (17:11):
Some some accounts are more articulate than others, let's say.
But okay, it's hard.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
So hard in all fairness to judge distance and size
and all that. Most of us are just really not
good at it.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yeah, it's difficult, yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Yeah, how far away something really is and how big
something really is?
Speaker 1 (17:30):
It's tough, right, and trying to describe it. So she
said it had a white blue It had white blue
and red blurry lights all around the sides of the
bottom that looked like four little odd shaped triangles. Okay,
(17:52):
they were made. It was circular, but the bottom had
triangle shapes on it. So this is this isn't the
easiest thing to visualize. But she said there was fog
that was either coming out of it or going around it.
So again that missed fog. Hayes aura described by a
(18:16):
lot of people. I was like, oh my god. And
I said to Jesse as we were standing there, you know,
you know what is this? And they said they were
not even a block away from it in this field.
And she said, we just stood there and stared at it.
And she said her friend looked over to the houses
(18:42):
for a few seconds, so she looked over to see
what her friend was looking at. And by the time
they looked back, the object was gone. They said, no trace,
no light, no sounds, It just seemed to vanish. So
she said, we ran home and we got in trouble
for staying out that long. H yeah, right, the missing
(19:08):
time again exactly. I knew you'd pick up on that.
But she said, we told my mom what we saw,
and rather than getting yelled at her, mother said that
a few months prior, her other daughter and the mother,
(19:29):
you know, the mother's mother and one of her other daughters,
saw a similar object out in a field about a
mile away, so they did. The mother did believe her,
But that part about in trouble for staying out too
long because you were trick or treating, or because something's missing. Yeah, yeah,
(19:55):
so no, it's it's tough, She says.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
I had. I had the same experience as she did,
sort of, when I saw the that craft and it
was shaped like an egg and in the field to
my left and with the miswirling around it, and I
had two hours of missing time that night.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Yeah. Yeah, that that still gives me chills. Me story,
I don't blame you.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
That's got to be so disconcerting to you know, you
don't realize this. I guess somebody points it out to you.
I guess watch or something.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Right when I came home, my wife did because I
just ran down to the store. I wasn't supposed to
be gone very like fifteen minutes. And yeah, she was
kind of said when I came home. But anyway, that's
similarity there.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
Yeah, yeah, definitely, all right. So we're going to jump
up to twenty fifteen in Columbia, Tennessee, about nine pm.
And this is interesting because there are photos if you
go to the New Fork site and look up October
(21:16):
thirty first, twenty fifteen, Columbia, Tennessee, there are actually some
pretty good photos to go along with this. So at
approximately nine pm on Saturday, October thirty first, twenty fifteen,
my daughter and I were driving south on Highway forty
three towards Columbia, Tennessee, when we saw four bright blue
(21:42):
white lights in the sky on the driver's side of
the car. They were approximately fifty feet in the air.
At first, we thought they were lighting up a haunted
attraction for Halloween. Let me stop there for a moment.
Several years ago, I get a call all from a neighbor.
Oh my god, there's UFOs right above your house. Like what,
(22:06):
I go running outside museum village several miles away was
they have a big haunted attraction, you know, they turn
the village into a haunted village. And they had you know,
the search lights that go up to try to you know,
carnivals have them to try to attract people. And its
(22:28):
shining up in the sky, and of course it looks
like a luminous circle. And there was three or four
of them moving all around, and I had to call
her back and say, no, unfortunately, we're not being invaded.
Uh that's a search light from the haunted village. But
so I knew exactly what she was saying, and so
(22:50):
it's good. At first, he doesn't think, ah, it's aliens.
It must be you know, search lights. But she said,
after looking a bit longer, we noticed there were points
of more concentrated lights at each corner. So the light
source was coming from above, not the ground. Okay, so
(23:12):
that's a good description. She's able to determine the light
source is above her. They maintained a square shape and
looked like four lights, but occasionally a light would travel
from one corner to another in a random fashion, so
there may have been as many as eight lights total.
(23:34):
They were ahead of us at first on the left,
but as we approached the main intersection of Highway forty
three and thirty one, the lights were keeping pace with us.
This is the point we say, uh, oh, they're being pace,
they're being followed. My daughter snapped a couple of photos
(23:58):
with her phone. We crossed the intersection and the lights
were still pacing us, as they continued to do for
several more miles. Then I looked back over and they
were not there. We were relieved, I bet, But a
few minutes later they were slightly ahead of us, keeping
(24:19):
pace for at least another five miles before they disappeared.
So they were paced followed by these sets of blue
lights for ten miles. That's got to be really scary.
So the photos they're not of the highest quality, but
you can clearly see bluish lights and four of them
(24:44):
in a kind of square, in a formation, in some
sort of formation, so they're not hallucinating. They obviously saw something.
What could it have been? Drones? Maybe? But why is
somebody in Columbia, Tennessee following a car with drones for
ten miles? You know that that makes no sense. But yeah,
(25:10):
I thought this was a very good one and very
clear descriptions.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Were they attached to an object? Are just separate lights?
Speaker 1 (25:21):
It's it seemed like they were attached, you know, in
a square formation. But when she said they seemed to move.
But was that just perspective, you know that from their
angle or were their eight of them and they could
only see a cause it's it's hard to it's hard
to say. But yeah, I encourage people to go look
(25:44):
at the photos. Yeah. Yeah, it is no mention of
missing time. But you know, when a group of UFOs
is following you for ten miles, it's probably something a
little more going on.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
Everyone can be that lucky, all right.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
Crittenden, Kentucky, twenty twenty eleven, fifteen PM. I chose this
again because it was a triangle that had an aura
or haze around it. Here we go again. Well, it
said triangle, but then they're describing it kind of like
(26:27):
pyramid shaped. So saw an upside pyramid. I assume that
means point up. I don't know, an upside pyramid shaped craft?
Speaker 2 (26:44):
Yeah, I guess so.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
Yeah, appearing black in color, with lights flashing in a
pattern around the top, with a blue light in a
V shape on one side. So this has all kinds
of lights goneing on. Here was at a very low
altitude with a low speed, and here we go again,
(27:08):
completely silent. Saw something resembling a shooting star about ten
minutes before the craft. Could be unrelated, could be somehow
watched the craft as it moved away, and it looked
as if it was looking for something in the distance
(27:29):
and emitted a bright, bluish light lighting up the sky
before disappearing. So searching for something again?
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Yeah, how could she tell that?
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Well, if you see a beam of light coming down,
scanning back and forth right looking for Omaha, looking for Omah.
That was the other We're in Kentucky now, Bryan.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
That's why they're scanning.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
That's why they're scanning, and they're looking for all I
have to see if there's an Omaha in Kentucky. But yeah, again,
low altitude, completely silent, moving slowly, some sort of aura
or haze around it, and a beam of light as
if it's looking for something. You know. It's how I
(28:23):
would love if someone could put all these together. How
many cases with aura or haze.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
There's so many cases at many sightings.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
It's remarkable. You know, I could have done one hundred
tonight don't worry, everybody, don't run away. I'm not doing
one hundred. We're getting to the end, and we have
two more of these before we'll take our second break.
We're going to Bainbridge, Ohio in twenty twenty. The shape
(28:59):
of this I was changing. Hear that all the time
as well, barbells turning into circles, triangles turning into disks.
So it was at two thirty in the afternoon, we're
talking daylight. My granddaughter asked about a star in the
(29:22):
sky above our farm. So two thirty in the afternoon,
there shouldn't be any stars out, okay. So upon looking
at the object with binoculars, I could see what appeared
to be a craft emitting a white silver light. Now
(29:44):
this threw me here with two thick, black downward protruding poles,
with a third pole that crossed at the bottom of
the two, So there was some sort of poles sticking
out of the bottom of the craft. With another one.
I can't I'm having trouble completely visualizing this.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
Yeah, like an h except the horizontal one was down
at the bottom.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
Sounds like yeah, yeah, that's a good one. That's a
good way to describe it. Okay, okay, So the body
of the craft slowly and repeatedly cycled between the shape
of a diamond and a circle during the entire time
(30:36):
of the event. That's weird, but it's not uncommon. Two
other aircraft, airliners were in the vicinity at the time,
but were well below the altitude of and had a
different heading than this craft. So he seems to have
(30:58):
some technical ability because then he gives the GPS coordinates
and he said he immediately checked the website flight aware
flight aware dot com, which tells you where all the
aircraft are at that at that time, and it didn't
show this other craft. But of course they don't show
(31:20):
military flights we have a secret training mission or you know,
they don't post those.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
That craft must have been very high. If it was
above the yeah, yep, it must have. It must have
been pretty big.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
Then it had to have been. But you know, fortunately
he's looking at it with with binoculars and he even
says it was a heading of one hundred degrees and
gives the coordinates. And so he said, the sky was
clear and sunny, the temperature was in the low fifties,
and the sun would have been to my back during
(31:58):
the sighting, So that's important for people say, oh, he
was looking at a reflection or so, which also reminds
me of the October sighting? Was that back in twenty
twelve in the Hudson Valley of a huge bright People
describe it as looking at as a telephone pole covered
in aluminum foil, which just sat in the sky for
(32:21):
twenty thirty minutes at a time, moved to different positions.
One pilot filmed it for twenty minutes. So these daylight
sightings are rare. But what else can you say?
Speaker 2 (32:36):
It was?
Speaker 5 (32:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Have you ever seen a photo of the one you
just mentioned?
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Yes? Yes, my friend, my friend Art, we've had him
on the show. He was one of our first shows.
He filmed it. It was great. He knew when he
saw it. He says, oh, boy, if I don't get
a video of this, Linda's going to kill me. So
(33:02):
he ran it.
Speaker 3 (33:04):
You're the threat, not the.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
People fear me. I don't know, I'm so nice. So
he runs inside. He grabs the video tape of his
sister's wedding and I'm like, hey, your your sister can
always get married again, But how you know when are
(33:29):
you ever going to see a UFO and he filmed
it and it is this bright spot and you can
see the wind blowing the trees and you can hear
the wind. So it wasn't a balloon because as he said,
it was like pinned to the sky and people up
and down the Hudson Valley got great video still photos.
(33:51):
That pilot who saw it. He he does aerial photography
for Hollywood, so he knows his stuff with high tech cameras.
He filmed this object for two hours, so it was
very well documented. He tried calling local airports, the FAA.
(34:13):
Nobody was interested, and he's saying, you have a massive
tubular object sitting in the sky, and we have a
lot of air traffic in this area, so many major airports.
He said, this is in the lanes of major air
traffic routes and outwardly they showed no concern, which bizarre.
(34:38):
It's very concerning to me. So yeah, I thought that
was a good one, some very good descriptions. So one
more brief one with a twist here before we get
onto our main Tinley Park lights. This was twenty twenty four,
(35:00):
twelve thirty AM Harbor Boulevard, Santa Ana, California. Again it
was an object that was changing shape with an aura
or haze around the object. Sound like a broken record here.
(35:20):
It also was emitting beams of light and it emitted
other objects. Okay, my wife and I saw the object
from the window of our apartment, grabbed a phone to
record it. Object demonstrated erratic, unpredictable movement with anout inertia,
(35:45):
so it is bouncing all over the place, one object
with the other objects appeared to come from it, so
it sounds like multiple objects are coming out of it.
Erratic movement, appearing to ignore inertia. He loves inertia. He's
the word inertia. So what he did now that we're
(36:10):
in the dreaded age of AI, which is for better
or for worse, with us to stay often for worse,
he submitted that he put this video in an AI
program to see what it's said, which is kind of novel.
It's kind of interesting, and the AI said. The object
(36:34):
changes position quite significantly across the frames, moving between coordinates
on the screen, which suggests erratic motion. The rapid shifts
in position, especially in both the horizontal and vertical directions,
align with the type of movement that the man described quick, unpredictable,
(36:57):
and not characteristic of typical aircraft, so that's pretty cool.
The object appears in various positions at different time stamps,
reinforcing the observation of non inertial and nonlinear movement, so
(37:18):
that's maybe where he got the inertial thing. This is
important because some people say it fading in and out,
or if it's a flare, it's bright and then fades,
But this object's brightness remains consistent across all the frames,
so that's that's important. And it also said the object
(37:42):
isn't likely isn't reflecting ambient light, but instead self illuminated.
All right, important feature, and it goes on and they
did some enhancements and things.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
But what time was this one?
Speaker 1 (38:02):
This was? Let me go back to my other page.
It was at twelve thirty am, so certainly dark. And
although in California with all the lights, does it ever
get dark and it's Santa Ena, California, I don't know,
so yeah, I just I thought that was an interesting
(38:26):
approach because you know, a lot of video analysts over
the decades are trying to study these you know, videos
and images and if you can have AI take a
look and tell you erratic movement that shows it's not
a commercial conventional aircraft. The lighting is self illuminated and consistent.
(38:53):
That's I think that was a clever thing to do.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
It sounds like it was jumping. Is that what he
meant by that?
Speaker 1 (39:04):
That's what I would think. So you know when the
AI is saying it's moving from position to position by frames,
you know, frames are pretty short distance, so this thing
was was bouncing.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
It was Yeah, it was jumping, like disappearing and appearing
in another spot like instantly, right, because because I've seen
lights like that in the sky and it was just
jumping around all you know, all over erradically all over
the place.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
Yeah. Yeah, some people describe it as like ping pong balls,
you know, just zig zagging. I remember talking to a
physician in the who had a sighting in the early eighties.
His was a little different. Was uh. He described it
as like kind of chevron shaped and he's looking at
(39:58):
it and a split second later it's a mile over
to his right. So either it was two craft, one
turning off its lights and another turning on, or this
thing was able to jump a huge distance in literally
no time at all. So I think these were a
really cool set of sightings. Yeah, we see a little
(40:22):
of similarities, but some of them are way different. So
all of these on Halloween.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
Night, that's surprised.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
So why don't we take our second break and come
for our final story. This is Hudson River Radio dot com,
your local Rockland County station.
Speaker 4 (40:50):
Hudson Riverradio dot Com.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
Okay, so we are back to our Halloween sightings. I
hope this is inspiring everybody to go out Halloween night
and look up right. You never know, you never know.
So the last one we're going to do are the
famous Tinley Park Lights from Tinley Park, Illinois, which is
(41:20):
about thirty miles south of Chicago. This is one of
the largest mass sightings in history. This was a big deal.
I remember when it was happening, and I remember wishing
I could go out to Tinley Park. This was two
thousand and four to about two thousand and six, so
(41:43):
there were Halloween sightings. But the series of sightings began
on a Saturday night, August twenty first, two thousand and four.
Some people at a park called Volunteer Park were out
nice night, clear skies. Thousands of witnesses that night, thousands
(42:07):
saw red lights silent. Most people saw them in the
form of a triangle with a lot of space in between.
Some people saw them as a straight line. But if
you were to take a piece of cardboard and put
a light in each corner, if you held it flat
(42:28):
in front of you, it would look like a straight
line of lights. And you know, by tilting at various
angles you see different shaped triangles. So I think that
was what was going on here. A lot of people
filmed and photographed it, police saw it. The object could
(42:50):
move very slow, make seemingly impossible maneuvers, go very fast
at times. It would hover for thirty minutes, which is
just amazing. It could also float and was seen in
many other places. I'll get to that as well. It
(43:14):
was not on the FAA radar, if they're telling the truth.
Thirty miles away are both O'Hare and Midway. You know
O'Hare is It used to be the busiest airport. I
don't know if it still is. You ever flown gone
through O'Hare years ago?
Speaker 3 (43:33):
It's been a long time.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
But yeah, yeah, crazy. It's like you hit the ground
and you're like, I gotta get to my connecting flights.
It's madness. So again the FAA had no explanation. Another
large group of witnesses that night, and I hate to
(43:56):
even say it, we're leaving oz fe there had been
an Ozzy Osbourne concert. Now, uh, Brian and Gary, what
are the chances any drug or alcohol were involved in
the Ozzy Osbourne concert.
Speaker 2 (44:14):
I don't know what you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (44:22):
So had there not been thousands of other witnesses, I
don't know how much credence I would have put into
those sightings. But clearly that you know, everybody's leaving the concert,
they're stuck in traffic and they're looking, you know, they're
getting out and looking up at this incredible, huge craft.
(44:42):
There was a block party that night with about seventy people.
They all saw it. One man looked at it through
a high powered telescope and he said, what with the
naked eye looked like a point of red light through
the telescope, looked like kind of an oval shaped object
(45:02):
with ten to twelve red lights around the perimeter. That night,
it was also seen in Orland Park, Oak Forest, Mokeena,
Madison Lake in the Hills, and Frankfort. So that's that's
pretty impressive. Again, like the Hudson valley sightings may be
(45:25):
concentrated in one town but seen throughout the area. For
that night, fifty people filed reports, which very few people
ever file an official reports. So that goes to show
how you know, when fifty you get fifty reports from
(45:45):
one night, that was quite the event. This craft may
have been as much as fifteen hundred feet long. The
other one was a thousand. This one may have been
even bigger. Police had While having no official comment, they
(46:05):
did admit their phone lines were inundated with people calling,
you know, what the hell is this? And when contacted,
the military said, we have no comment. What a surprise. Well,
Halloween night a couple of months later, as someone said,
(46:27):
they're back the same objects again, an enormous amount of witnesses.
Do you remember the show on History channel UFO Hunters
around two thousand and seven, two thousand and eight. I've seen, Yeah,
I liked the show. I thought it was you know,
(46:50):
it wasn't, but you know, they went to actual locations,
They interviewed witnesses and then they studied. They did tests.
Like some people were saying, it was flares tied to balloons,
So they took balloons and put tied flares to them
(47:10):
and let them up and filmed them and they're flying,
you know, they're bouncing all over the place. And they
had witnesses and they said, no, that's that's not what
we saw. So I love that kind of thing. Don't
deny something if you have no data to back, don't
dismiss it when you have no freaking idea what you're
talking about, you know. So, yeah, it's either a flare
(47:35):
on a balloon or a fifteen hundred foot solid craft.
The other thing they did there were approximately twenty five
to thirty videos to everybody got out there handheld video cameras,
remember those, And one video was eighteen minutes long. So
(47:59):
they did a sign scientific analysis where was this video taken?
What time? And they plotted on so you could triangulate
people in different areas were looking at it from the north, south, east, west,
so you were able to get a lot of data.
And they were convinced it was the lights were attached
(48:21):
to a solid object because when it rotated moved, the
lights never deviated in their position from one another. So
that's huge, huge, especially if it's fifteen hundred feet. UFO
researcher Sam Moronto did a great job on this. He
(48:43):
took over one hundred eyewitness reports and in one of
the videos you see this massive triangle and then this
little helicopter like going by it. You can you imagine
being in a helicopter with a fifteen hundred foot UFO
(49:04):
next to you. So they tracked down the pilot of
that helicopter and he said, yeah, I saw something, but
I'm not going to talk about it because I'm afraid
of losing my job. So maybe twenty years later he
wouldn't mind talking about it. I don't know. So again,
(49:26):
thousands of witnesses that week, the last week of October,
you know, around Halloween, give or take, the same, similar
or same object was witnessed for nine hours in Minnesota.
It was seen in Houston, Texas, British Columbia, and Melbourne, Australia.
(49:48):
In fact, in Melbourne there were two sets of three reds,
so two craft were in the sky doing the same thing.
The sightings heard again October first, two thousand and five,
the next year, and again Halloween nights two thousand and five.
(50:08):
So for major events, two of them occurring on Halloween.
If you're interested, if you have access to History Channel videos,
the UFO Hunters. I think it was yes, season two
episode one, cause called Invasion Illinois. They interviewed it, viewed
(50:34):
a lot of witnesses and they have a lot of
the video. So if you're interested in this case, track
down season two episode one, it's worth watching.
Speaker 2 (50:45):
Was that the show with Bill Burns?
Speaker 1 (50:47):
Yes, yep, Yeah, I used.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
To watch it. Yeah, I used to watch it.
Speaker 1 (50:53):
I thought it was a well done show because they
would go into these cases. You know, I'm all about
interviewing the witnesses. Yeah, what are they saying? You know,
like like you, that's how we met. So what do
(51:14):
you think of our Halloween sightings?
Speaker 2 (51:18):
Great? Great for Halloween. Great the chills from it.
Speaker 1 (51:25):
Yeah, so everyone get out there on Halloween night. You
see from Canada to Australia all over the country. Uh
that night there's a lot of sightings going on. Bring
your video cameras or your your cell Phone's kind of
crap for that, but better than not having anything.
Speaker 3 (51:49):
Trick or treat in front of you, and look up
before you walk away, next to look up next that okay,
that's it?
Speaker 1 (51:55):
And and time where you are and what time you
get home? Why is my candy stale? Already about the
time I get home.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
So I wonder how many sightings there are on Christmas
Eve or Christmas.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
Did we do a show like that, Brian?
Speaker 3 (52:16):
I think we did.
Speaker 1 (52:18):
We did episodes. Yeah, yeah, not as many as Halloween
and uh Saint Patrick's Day, but there are because a
lot of people are out traveling outside, right, you know
you're going to over the river and through the woods
to Grandma's house and getting abducted along the way.
Speaker 2 (52:39):
No, there would be more on Halloween.
Speaker 1 (52:42):
You know outside, Yeah, right, right right.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
It just seems it's just one of my favorite holidays,
that's all.
Speaker 1 (52:51):
Oh you're yes, geez. Yeah. We just got up our
two hundred foot long Halloween display on our front yard.
It is up and ready and the inside is just
as decorate. I love Halloween and Christmas. I just I'm
(53:15):
never growing up, That's right. Nor should you thank you
so again? Gary? Anything else you want to bring up?
Say anything you've got going on? No, hit pitch your
Pine Bush ufo song?
Speaker 2 (53:33):
Maybe, well, you know it's up there and I haven't gotten.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
Any it's on it lately. Where and where can people
go to get your Pine Bush Ufo song?
Speaker 2 (53:46):
To the museum in Pine Bush.
Speaker 1 (53:50):
Oh well, I don't know that they have that. Isn't
it on the website?
Speaker 2 (53:53):
You have no, No, I don't have it on a website.
Speaker 1 (53:58):
Oh okay, about where anymore? Okay, but where was it posted?
Who who's hosting the song?
Speaker 2 (54:07):
Where is it on band camp?
Speaker 1 (54:10):
Okay? So go to band camp and Gary Philip Tribers Yeah, okay,
so again band camp, Gary Philip Tribert is Pine Bush
ufo song. So all right, well, thank you again for
joining us. I hope everybody has a great spooky Halloween
and we'll see you in November.
Speaker 5 (54:34):
What's in Radio dot com a favorite among shut ins
and dogs.
