Hudson River Radio dot com. Thisis Travis Walton and you are listening to
UFO Headquarters, Beautiful Headquarters. Welcometo UFO Headquarters, the podcast where you
listen and hear about all things UFOrelated. And today Linda Zimmerman and I
(00:27):
are It's a first, Linda,I believe, yes, it is a
big first. We have an audiencein front of us, a great audience
because we are at the Pine BushUFO Festival, and what a great crowd.
Normally we do this in our ownhomes. I know, I know,
I'm in my pajamas in front ofmy computer. Pressure's on. So
(00:53):
we're doing two separate shows. Soas Brian explained, you'll hear, we're
gonna take a quick break, whichis really a fake break, and I'm
going to talk about Pine Bush UFOsand Mike will be doing his on I'm
going to be doing about police sightingsand UFOs. And I was just talking
to somebody Jen over at Crux Club. They have an outdoor puzzle adventure.
(01:19):
Check it out. Check out histent. It's like somebody goes into the
woods looking for UFO, gets lost, and you're supposed to find them.
Sounds like a fun game. Soanyway, I said, I'd mention that,
and then again, we'll be doingthe song the premiere of UFOs over
pine Bush at the end of mysegments, so I'd better get moving.
(01:41):
So pine Bush, UFOs, Wheredo I? I could sit here all
day obviously and talk about them. But where you are sitting now. About
twenty years ago, a small carsized triangle was hovering see the telephone pole
right at telephone pole height. Imean, that's pretty remarkable. And these
(02:07):
people are standing there staring at thisand awe, and other people are just
walking around like they don't even noticeit, and it just went and took
off. And about ten years ago, a very large lit up triangle drifted
right over here. Rectangle excuse meat night drifted right over here. So
(02:30):
you don't have to go out inthe fields of pine Bush. You could
be buying gas and you know,in town getting lunch. I'm going to
interject for a second. When youpointed out the telephone pole and then it
hovered at that height, the audiencekind of gasped. And when you look
over and encourage the listeners wherever youare, when you actually look over and
(02:52):
look at a telephone pole. Itis extremely close to the ground. It's
stupid low. I mean, somany people over the years have said,
if I had a rock, Icould have hit it, if I had
a baseball, all these things, and that's how intense Hudson Valley sightings are.
These aren't faint little lights, andsometimes they are faint little lights in
(03:14):
the sky, but you get themhovering really low right over the middle of
a town. So I want totalk about a couple of really good cases,
some more recent, some not.Going back to twenty fifteen. Now
West Searsville Road. If you knowanything about Pine Bush, that was the
ground zero where everybody gathered, hundredsof people at night filling the fields until
(03:39):
they started building all those housing developments. But still twenty fifteen. On August
fifteenth, family lives on West Searsvilleand there's a field right behind their backyard
and they see a circular craft andI didn't. Can you grab me one
(04:00):
of those papers? They're all gone. There's one on the ground. If
you look the top left, thereis I. This is what happens when
you have a live audience. Thisone right here upper left. That's a
sketch. They saw that it wasn'tlanded. It looked like it was hovering
(04:26):
three feet above the ground of theseventeen year old member of the family,
a boy, went within ten feetof it. You have to be careful
because you don't know what kind ofenergy these things have. He felt strange
vibration humming in his head, startedgetting very nauseated pain in his head,
(04:50):
and the craft moved to a coupleof different locations before taking it taking off.
Now, they called moufon the mutualUFO network for New York and the
state director himself at the time, came down and found three circular depressions.
And this picture here looks like brokengrass. That's because that's broken grass.
(05:15):
Circular areas, not quite crop circles, but depressions where something big, heavy
and round was several feet off theground, breaking and pushing the grass down.
And even more interesting, he broughta Geiger counter and the radiation was
(05:36):
seven times higher than it should bewithin each circle. You got out of
the circle went down to zero yougot into the circle. So that's why
I know if you see a UFOclose, a lot of people like Mike
and I would water run towards it, but you don't know if there's radiation,
(05:56):
You don't know what kind of damagingeffect there may have. They may
be what you're saying is, don'tbe like mind. But no, that's
it. That's exactly it. Andeven later on, when the state director
was there, the boy was showinghim where it happened, and when he
went back to the circle he startedfeeling the vibration and feeling sick again.
(06:21):
And I see this all the time, that where something has landed, animals
avoid it for days, sometimes years, sometimes forever. Well, so they
leave things behind, whatever that is. I don't know. The craft returned
in November, but didn't get lowerthan thirty or forty feet high, so
(06:47):
just be careful, get close enoughto get a good picture. But but
nothing nothing more than that. Dowe have any more of those sheets left?
No? Oh, sorry, we'retrying to get some people, thanks
(07:08):
Brian, so they have something tolook at over here. Are not all
right? I should apologize in advancetoo that my allergies are killing me today,
so I'm sniffily and you can hearit. I'm sorry. Yeah,
all right, So we're going backnow to nineteen sixty eight. This is
a landmark case. Because it involvesa very famous Pine Bush resident. Butch
(07:31):
Hunt was the barber here. Butchthe barber for many, many years,
so where everybody would come and gettheir haircut and tell their UFO stories.
And this picture on the upper rightis about his case. He and his
four friends are driving across the RedMill Bridge, just kind of north of
(07:54):
here, and they saw what hesaid quote was a huge circular craft the
size of the bank, and ithad three lights beaming down. Now they
had the presence of mind. Theyhad binoculars, so they're looking at the
craft through binoculars, and this isone of my favorite quotes. There were
(08:16):
figures looking at us as we werelooking at them. There's a moment.
There is a moment you'll never forget, he said. And here we go
again with the proximity. It movedso close I could have hit it with
a slingshot. It made like awishing sound. And they were just mesmerized.
(08:39):
They could have stood there all nightand watched this. But another car
came up behind and at that pointthe craft tilted and took off. How
many times have we heard that aboutthe craft tilting at an odd angle,
yes, and then taking off rightafterwards. It a very consistent theme that
we hear in a lot of thereports. Yeah, it definitely is so
(09:01):
Brian. Why don't we take ourfirst break and then we will come right
back. Hudson River Radio dot ComHudson River Radio dot Com a subsidiary of
Glacier Entertainment ALC. Blasting the competitionin New York's Hudson Valley. And we're
(09:26):
back Live Linda, Live LIVEE atthe Pine Bush UFO Festival here in Pine
Bush, New York, which isreally the epicenter of the Hudson Valley UFOs.
I think currently, but the audiencehas gotten bigger since we started.
Yes, and this is here's theaudience again. Yeah, this is crazy.
We should do this more often withan automo. Y yoh, it's
fun. It's fun, all right. So let me go to twoenty twelve
(09:52):
near West near West Searsville. Thatwhole area has had a lot of sightings.
I interviewed a woman named Nancy. It was what we call a fresh
sighting because it wasn't decades ago,it was just a couple of weeks earlier,
and it was August of twenty twelve, around ten thirty pm. She's
(10:16):
letting her adorable little dog, Chewy. If you see the picture here,
there's Chewy with Nancy letting him outfor the night. And she looks over
and says, hovering silently at treetop level, about one hundred feet away,
she said, it was a UFOquote shaped like an ice cream cone.
(10:39):
In other words, it was pointedon the bottom and rounded on the
top, very clearly metal. Thiswasn't a projection, it wasn't a weather
balloon. It was very clearly metal. There were no lights on, and
usually we hear all the time aboutall the lights. The only way she
was able to see it. Therewas a very bright full moon, and
(11:03):
she could see there were lights onit, it just wasn't on. And
she said it also seemed like thecircular part could rotate, but it wasn't
moving. And this is very odd, but I've heard this before. There
was a rectangular panel jutting out onone side, not the most aerodynamic configuration.
(11:24):
So what you're seeing in this picture. I took a picture of her
facing the direction that the UFO wasin, and then she sketched this little
thing, you know, so icecream cone shape with a rectangle sticking out
of it. Very bizarre, andshe said, I just stood there saying,
(11:45):
what the hell is that? Whatthe hell is that? What the
hell? I would probably have donethe same, only maybe more colorful language.
And then all of a sudden, that's the way they they They just
suddenly appear and just took off.I came inside and sat down, and
I just kept saying, what thehell did I just see? I love
(12:09):
these just genuine reaction. I wastrying to comprehend what happened. She admitted
she had been really scared and couldn'tsleep that night, and then this was
interesting. She said, did somebodyjust get shot with a balloon? Okay?
I was afraid thinking if they sawme, you know, are they
(12:31):
going to come? I really hada very bad night. I couldn't sleep,
and I still think about it allthe time now when I go to
sleep. So I'm thinking, whywould you think? Are they going to
come? So? Did you haveany other sightings? Nope? Anybody in
your family nope, nope, Nothingelse nope, nope, nope, nope.
All right, okay, so I'mwrapping up, and then she just
(12:54):
kind of adds, yeah, nothingelse except the figures in my room.
Detail not very important. Probably, yeah, great moments and you fall.
I sat up and I was like, say what, she said, Well,
yeah, like I was supposed toknow, she said, back in
(13:16):
eighty eight, during the big HudsonValley wave of the nineteen eighties, she
woke up with an excruciating pain inher left side, and standing by the
side of the bed were two small, hooded figures. They were so short
she only saw their heads. Shecouldn't scream, she couldn't move, she
couldn't wake up her husband. Andone of them, she said, lifted
(13:41):
a hand, pointed a long fingerat her, and they were gone,
and suddenly she could move. Shewakes up. Her husband says, oh,
you had sleep paralysis. You weredreaming, you know, blah blah
blah. But they looked at herleft side and there was a round,
she said, like a pencil eraser, a bloody mark. Burn, like
(14:03):
a bloody burn on the side. Now, now, sleeped paralysis, as
far as I know, doesn't causebloody burn marks, does it. No?
So, and then a year laterthe same thing happened, only they
were very tall, robed figures. And so I said, so is this
(14:24):
why you were so scared when yousaw that craft? You thought they were
coming back. But it's so funnywhen you interview people, you really you
kind of have to dance around alittle. Yeah, you have to be
persistent. I mean I was packingup my briefcase because nope, absolutely nothing
(14:45):
else except the little figures. Howmany times have you had that happen?
When someone will have an encounter andyou'll ask anybody that's in the family experiencing
no, and then all of asudden, we'll wait, my dad,
my grandpa, yes, my brother, you know, and like all of
a sudden, you find out it'sdoes Jenner. Rational encounters have been going
on, but it all starts outwith not just just me yep, yep,
(15:05):
it's and completely forget about certain thingstoo. But all right, so
I have one more we'll try toget in before before the big debut song.
I don't know if we can relyon this next witness. Her name
is Linda Zimmerman. No, no, zero credibility. All right. We
(15:26):
were skywatching a bunch of us backin July of two thousand and three,
and we were at a fabulous locationkind of near the Jewish Cemetery, but
we were up high on this bigfield. It was it was. It
was a private home that they letus SkyWatch from. Had big pizza party.
(15:50):
It was great. So it's arounddusk and we all see a bright
light and you're looking, well, you know a lot of planes are coming
in and going out of Stewart, and plus it's dusk, so you don't
know is it light reflecting off ametallic craft? Is it a self luminated
light. So we had fifteen byseventy binoculars. Those are big, those
(16:15):
are very big. So I grabbedthem and as I'm saying, you know,
possibly a satellite or a military jet. And I'm looking and there's a
moment of disconnect because you see thishere, that's what I saw. It's
and you can hear because we wererecording, not a satellite. It's round
(16:36):
below the clouds and moving fast andit was really booking and I some of
you may not understand this, butit's a highly technical aerodynamic term. I
said it was hauling ass Sometimes youforget you're being recorded. But it took
fifteen to twenty seconds, I'd say, to go the length of of the
(17:00):
sky, and everybody's grabbing for otherbinoculars. By that time it was gone,
but it was a shiny metal ball. No wings, no means of
propulsion, no nothing I have. And you bring up a good point because
in space aero dynamics mean nothing becauseof the vacuum. But once a craft
(17:21):
would enter our atmosphere, they'd besubjected, you think, to the laws
that would otherwise govern every aircraft withdrag and aerodynamics, and they seem to
be able to defy that. Objectsthat you wouldn't expect to fly or float
seem to do that. Yeah, yep. So nothing much else happened,
just a sphere flying through and aroundmidnight a friend of ours art. He
(17:49):
had to leave because he had togo to work the next morning. And
you know when somebody leaves, thenusually something happened. So I'm in the
process of saying, well, youknow what's gonna happen when you leave,
something will happen. I think Igot about three or four words out,
and there was this bright, brilliantflash and I'm standing looking at them.
(18:14):
I don't see where the flash iscoming from, but they lit up as
if somebody just took a picture. And there was a group of trees behind
us a couple hundred feet and oneof them, one of the people there.
Chris, he saw the flash.Everybody saw the flash coming out of
the woods. So they're running down. I don't know what they're running towards,
but I'm running with them, andwe go down to the woods.
(18:37):
Absolutely nothing and no people, nosound because one of the people described it
as like the flash from an M. Eighty firecracker, but silent. And
that is the famous there's a namethe pine bush light bulb effect. This
happens. It's happened a lot allaround this area. And you know,
(19:03):
I talked about animal reactions. Youknow, some people said, oh,
it was distant lightning this or that. I checked. The nearest thunderstorm was
south of Brooklyn, so I don'tthink that's where we got the lightning from.
But the woman the next day whoowned the property, she had a
(19:25):
whole bunch of animals, and shesaid her cats went down to that field
where we were, would not leavethe whole night. They always come in
for a night because the first timein their lives they would come in the
house. Whatever this was, theywere drawn to that spot. And you
(19:45):
know, it wasn't just seeing theflash. To me, it was like
I stuck my finger in a socket. I can't drink coffee, but I
felt like I had drank ten cupsof espresso. I was just buzzing all
night. Was this intense energy toit. So pine Bush is unique because
you can have triangles over telephone polls, you can have flashes of light,
(20:10):
A lot of things come in andout of the ground. I love it
here. It's just absolutely right. Before you debut the song, I want
to ask we had about what thirtythirty five people here? Forty Just raise
your hand if you've seen something inthe sky you can't explain, okay,
all right, most deep people, yep, yep. So just a brief
(20:36):
background on this song. Gary Triibert, who's a good friend of ours.
He's been on the show, lifelongexperiencer. He's also been a musician.
He's had a band since he wastwelve. He's not twelve anymore. He
did our theme song. Hey didour theme song, and several years ago
I said, you know, pineBush needs a UFO song, So I
(20:59):
gave him some lyrics. Took himthree years to get around to it,
but he came up with this song. He changed some of my lyrics.
An author never likes to be edited, but he did good. He did
good. So we'd like to debutthis song for you. Wild box and
(21:38):
great fasts, bride lights flashes thenight in those skies, Ouva pie bushkis
a sing Some things in the skyover bibush silence and moving bat. Could
