A origem da vida na Terra e a busca por vida em outros planetas são os temas deste episódio do UFSC Ciência. Do nascimento do Universo aos projetos que buscam alienígenas em mundos distantes, falamos sobre os primeiros micro-organismos que apareceram por aqui e apresentamos seres que habitam ambientes extremos e inóspitos.
Dois professores da UFSC nos ajudam nesta jornada. Alexandre Zabot é professor do Curso de Engenharia Aeroespacial e coordenador do projeto Astrofísica para todos, que oferece cursos on-line gratuitos na área de Astronomia. E Rubens Tadeu Delgado Duarte é docente do Departamento de Microbiologia, Imunologia e Parasitologia e coordenador do Laboratório de Ecologia Molecular e Extremófilos (Lemex), onde desenvolve trabalhos na área de Astrobiologia.
