The episode is the result of reactions to an article Mel wrote for a publication that a very lovely gentleman described as a 'moronic analysic' as it dove into the questions:
- Are you in an echo chamber where you're just receiving the same answers from people around you because you all believe the same thing?
- Do you react strongly to something financially without thinking about whether that really is something that you do?
- What would it mean if you were to let go of unconscious bias and consider an alternative point of view?
