This technology allows for advancements in precision agriculture, including field monitoring and assisted crop scouting. Xavier Phillips, plant pathology specialist with Syngenta and Ph.D. student at Iowa State University, discusses using various UAV technologies for foliar disease identification, quantification and impact determination.
