Pamela Adlon on why it’s finally her time

You may not know her face but you definitely know Pamela Adlon's voice and her vision. She's spent decades in supporting roles (an alum of The Facts of Life and Californication) and voiceovers (young Bobby Hill of King of the Hill), the latter of which garnered her an Emmy. Though she’s been accustomed to life on the periphery, Pamela finally got her shot in the spotlight when she partnered with FX to create her own show, Better Things, a dramedy tour de force that puts women and their stories front and center.
