Daisy Schonder is an aspiring urban planner currently studying at Whitman College and a fan of Urban Eyes. She represents Walla Walla, Washington and is steadily growing into the Urban Planning field. In this episode of Urban Eyes, Daisy and Walle talk together about local transportation, getting into the field of planning, and the intersections between local infrastructure, theory, and people.
This episode is very special because it is the first time Urban Eyes is interviewing an aspiring planner who is not yet in post-graduate program. A commitment to supporting the next generation of planners is a part of the founding mission of Urban Eyes and the aspirations to achieve a more diverse and inclusive planning field within the United States and across the world.
