You're about to listen to our Virtual Taproom visit with Jeremy Ragonese, president of Uinta Brewing in Salt Lake City. These brief Virtual Taproom conversations are recorded via Zoom and the video is available now on the Utah Beer News YouTube channel.
Jeremy's voice might sound familiar to you, and not just because he's been a fixture in the Utah craft beer community for the last five years. He also appeared on Episode 52 of the podcast discussing the Utah Brewers Guild and how Utah's craft beer community is emerging from the pandemic.
This time around, Jeremy is here to talk about his start in craft beer and how his path led him to become president of Uinta Brewing in 2019. We also talk briefly about the impact Uinta Brewing has had on Utah craft beer since its founding in 1993.
And with American Craft Beer Week 2021 set for May 10-16, Jeremy describes the importance of supporting local, independent craft breweries — not only this week but all year long. Stay tuned to hear what Uinta has planned for American Craft Beer Week and be sure to visit UtahBeerNews.com to learn what other Utah breweries are doing to celebrate the occasion.
That said, if breweries would like their American Craft Beer Week events included on the site, please feel free to send along the details to tim@utahbeernews.com.
We recorded our conversation on May 7, 2021, and, as I mentioned, you can catch the full video on our YouTube channel, as well as on our Facebook Page. An abridged version is available on our Instagram TV channel.
Thanks to Jeremy for taking the time to talk with Utah Beer News. And thank you for listening. If you enjoy this type of storytelling, I'd really appreciate if you could please leave a review on your podcast platform of choice.
Enjoy the episode!
