(00:08):
But can I just tell you, youdon't have a money problem.
You have a flow blockage.
You don't have a mental problem.
You have a flow blockage.
You see, the flow is there.
The resources there, theaccess is there.
Everything you need, theprovision, the Holy Spirit, it's
all there.
But you've got a blockage.
When Daniel was in Babylon, exiled, he didn't have a prophetic
(00:33):
problem because God hadalready released the word.
It's just that the Prince ofPersia, which, as we know was a ruling
demonic spirit, wasatmospherically preventing that word
from getting to Daniel.
And then God had to send oneof his baddest angels, who just happened
to go under the name Michael.
(00:57):
And Michael had to actually dowarfare to release the word that
was already given.
So sometimes you don't havewhat God already gave you because
in transit from God to you, itgot blocked.
But I'm here, like a physical,Michael, to do some warfare on your
behalf, to remove someblockages for you, to get to you.
(01:19):
What God has for you.
God's got something for you.
Some of you, like God, give itto me.
God's like, I already released it.
But the kingdom of heavensuffers violent.
But the violent take it by force.
I already gave it to you.
I gave you what you're askingfor, but you got to go out there
and fight for it.
Oh, I'm not afraid to fightfor it.
(01:40):
Somebody say, I'm removing the blockage.
I'm removing the blockage.
See, before the new covenant,God sent an angel to do the warfare.
And then after the newcovenant of his blood, he commissioned
you to do the warfare.
That's why you have the fullarmor of God.
Because the first time Michaeldid it, but this time, you're gonna
(02:02):
do it.
I got any fighters here?
I got any spiritual assassins here?
Do I got anybody?
Like, I ain't no punk.
I wasn't a punk in the street,so I'm not gonna be a punk in the
spirit.
Come on, y'all, hear what I'm saying.
I wasn't a punk in the streets.
I'm not going to be a punk inthe spirit.
(02:25):
Somebody's like, this pastoris gangster.
Okay, let me break thescriptures down for you briefly.
We're going to look at John,chapter 7, verse 38 now, but let's
unpack it.
John, chapter 37, verse 38.
Now, when you read the Bible,if you read the Bible like you eat,
(02:48):
sometimes you eat for hungerand don't eat for taste.
And so have you ever eatensomething and not even realized what
it tasted like.
So sometimes when people readthe Bible, they're reading it for
hunger, not for taste.
Ideally, you would do both.
You know, you ever tell yourkids, chew your food.
Chew your food.
You ever see them?
(03:08):
Okay, so we're gonna take amoment and take a familiar passage,
but give you an unfamiliar new revelation.
Whoever believes in me, as thescripture said, out of his heart.
Whose heart?
Yeah, he's talking about us.
Will flow, not might, not.
(03:30):
Maybe will flow rivers.
Okay, let me ask you a question.
Is it will flow a river, or isit will flow rivers, plural?
Okay, some of you right now, your whole life, you've been quoting
that sermon and have neverrealized it's plural, not singular.
Because when I say out of theheart will flow rivers of living
(03:52):
water, sometimes we thinkabout it as a river.
I want you to see it as streams.
Right now, rivers, plural.
And I want to submit to youthe idea that it might be possible.
Just like your physical body, you don't have a vein.
You have veins.
You have rivers of blood.
(04:14):
Y'all picking up on what I'mputting down?
You have rivers of blood.
So it's not a blockage.
Sometimes it's multipleblockages that we have, multiple
restriction that we have thatcould be our undoing.
And so I believe that there'smany rivers in your life, and the
Lord wants to flow all those rivers.
I've met people that can loveGod but not love their spouse.
(04:39):
None of them are here.
Jules.
We're good.
Probably Miami campus.
I got you Brooklyn.
But I've met people that canprophesy over my wife, but not their
own.
So one river is open, but oneriver is blocked.
Oh, come on.
(04:59):
I'm trying to talk to somebody.
Or I know some people who canserve God with their talent, and
they can serve God with theirtime, but they can never serve God
with their treasure.
So it's like, oh, I'm generous.
I'll show up early and I'llleave late, but don't you dare ask
me to give my money.
So two out of the three riversare open, but one river's blocked.
(05:20):
Okay, Is this helping you?
So rivers of living water.
Now, I want to break thisdown, because there are three things
that block the flow of living water.
Three things.
Number one, for the notetakers, a hardened heart.
A hardened heart blocks theflow of water in your life.
(05:41):
It blocks the flow of water inyour life.
Now, I want to tell you astory about a man named Nabal.
Now, Nabal might have wellbeen a New Yorker.
Here's what I like about Nabal.
Nabal was a hard working man.
Nabal would go out every dayand he would fight through traffic.
Just stay with me.
(06:03):
He would fight through traffic.
He would commute to his joband back.
Nabal was a good man.
He took care of his children,he took care of his wife.
I mean, Nabal was a Jets fan.
Nabal, he liked the Knicks, you know, he was definitely a Knicks
guy.
Not a Nets guy.
Nabal, okay, they're not withme here, but Nabal was a good man
(06:26):
by everyone's account.
But what happens is sometimesthe harder you work for yourself
to provide for your family, you can limit an understanding of
the fullness of what God has.
So sometimes it's notnecessarily that you're selfish,
but you're so hardworking, youmight start saying things like, I'm
(06:47):
gonna take care of my own, I'mgonna take care of myself.
All these people living offthe government.
I work hard for what?
I'm saying it to the wall.
I work hard for myself.
I ain't gonna pay their bills.
Have you heard statements like that?
What happens is usually thosethings are the reflection of somebody
(07:10):
who's saying, hey, I love people.
I just really love my own people.
I love people.
I just love my own people.
And it doesn't necessarilymean that they're selfish.
It just means there's levelsof generosity.
And their family might knowthem as the most selfless person,
(07:30):
but the world knew them as themost selfish.
Because one river can be open, one river can be blocked.
So Nabal, in a lot of ways, isan honorable man, but he dealt with
something in his corazon.
Am I saying that right?
See, I'm getting ready for Wednesday.
(07:54):
Okay, let me read theScriptures to you.
And I thinned it out for thesake of time.
I'm just going to give you thenarrative so you can read and hear
this with me.
I want you to look at 1stSamuel 25, verse 10.
And Nabal answered, david's servants.
Who's David?
Who's the son of Jesse?
Who does this fool think he isup in here, huh?
(08:19):
Who's this guy?
That's literally the what he's saying.
If you read the text, it's thesame attitude.
Who's this guy?
Who does this guy think he is?
Who's this guy?
Who's the son of Jesse?
Who's David?
There are many.
I'm about to get in so much trouble.
There's many servants thesedays who are breaking away from their
(08:40):
masters.
Shall I Take my bread and my.
My, my.
Look.
He says my three times.
Shall I take my bread and mywater and my meat and give it to
men from who?
I don't know where they're from.
Look at the text.
I'm barely even adding to it.
(09:00):
He says, it's my bread, mywater, and my meat.
Here's the problem.
When I first showed up to NewYork, who does this guy think he
is?
Everybody's starting churches.
He's probably lazy and doesn'twant to work.
What?
You want me to give my moneyto you, bro?
I would get up to do theoffering, and I would literally go
(09:24):
home and there would alreadybe people on Facebook.
Yeah, the dude took fourminutes to ask me for my money.
Might as well mugged me.
I'm like, well, as far as I'mconcerned, we are giving our money
to God.
But that mindset, who doesthis church think they are?
Oh, yeah, you go to V1, theyonly want your money while they're
(09:45):
sipping on a Bud Light thatthey gave their money to a multinational
company while they orderedtheir Uber eats that's coming from
another company while theywork for another company that takes
advantage of other peoplewhile their whole life is compromised.
But heaven forbid you giveyour money to the church, and then
while they type in that onFacebook, they go over and open up
(10:07):
the lottery app and give tothe lottery for years.
So they spent $300 onmeaningless stuff the day they told
you they're mad cause you gave$50 in an offering.
What kind of spirit is that?
Who does this guy think he is?
(10:27):
That's.
But Nabal did that to David.
He literally did that to King David.
And I'm trying to make lightof it because I don't think that
Nabal was an evil man.
But I think what happened washe wasn't understanding kingdom principles,
and he didn't realize, youcan't hurt David because David is
doing the will of Kingdom God.
(10:49):
But you have an opportunity tosow into David, and you will end
up reaping more.
And so you.
You.
You're.
You're blocking yourself.
Because what happened wasDavid was going to and doing all
these military strategicthings, and he was conquering different
armies for the Lord.
David was not doing his own plan.
He was doing God's will.
(11:10):
But what happened was, whilehe was in the journey of doing that,
his men got hungry, his menwere tired, and David said, well,
go ask Nabal to send hissupplies to me.
So that way, all of these menwho are fighting for the people of
Israel can be fed so we can godo more warfare.
So David wasn't asking, hey,Nabal, we're going to all go on vacation.
(11:33):
Can you lay out a buffet forus and give us back massages while
we're out laying down?
What David was saying is, bro,we're killing all the enemies of
Israel right now, but we're hungry.
Can you help feed us?
And so in a lot of ways, whenI first showed up to New York, it's
like I live in an apartmentthe size of this stage.
I make less than $50,000 ayear with a family of four, no health
(11:56):
benefits.
I cashed out my retirement andI sold my four bedroom house with
a half acre backyard to haveno parking spot in these streets.
I'm not asking you for moneyso I can be rich.
I'm asking you to sow intoGod's will so I can keep assassinating
demons and making disciplesand lead the lost to the cross at
any.
(12:18):
And a lot of the feedback inthose days was like, who do you think
you are?
And you know what's sad issome of those people left the church.
And the thing is, I didn't suffer.
V.1 church lodged anothercampus and another one, and another
one.
And we filled a stadium and wemade a movie and the movie was in
(12:39):
theaters three times.
I didn't suffer.
Why?
Because the favor of God, it'snot on me.
The favor of God is on his will.
And if I do his will, thefavor starts splashing on me.
And so the thing is, it's notabout who's right, it's about who's
in the will, who's doing theLord's will.
(12:59):
So I was like, I'm here tolead as many people to the cross
before I die.
And I know that God willprovision that mission.
And I'm not asking you to giveto me, but I'm asking you to give
to the house of God.
And I felt like when I wouldgo back to the story of Nabal, it
would help me.
But let me just tell you whathappened, because this is deep.
This is deep.
(13:20):
This is what it said.
It says.
But one of the young men toldAbigail, Nabal's wife, behold, David
sent the messengers out to thewilderness to greet your master.
And he railed at him.
He went off on him.
This is first Samuel 25:14.
Then Abigail made haste andtook 200 loaves and two skins of
(13:41):
wine and five sheep alreadyprepared, and five season parched
grain and hundred clusters ofraisins, and 200 cakes of figs and
13 chopped cheeses and 12Burger King.
I'm just kidding.
But she basically startedloading up with all the food because
she realized, oh no, myhusband messed up.
(14:04):
And how many wives feel likethey have to see in the spirit?
For a carnal husband who can'tsee in the spirit, Abigail knows
exactly what it's like.
Abigail had to fix a situationthat her testosterone driven, fleshly,
carnal husband created becausehe couldn't see that God was laying
(14:28):
an opportunity in disguised as generosity.
God was laying an opportunitydisguised as generosity, but the
husband couldn't see it.
And man, I want to talk to youbecause I'm trying to honor you,
not dishonor you.
And I don't want you to be madat me.
That's why I gave a verythorough character description to
(14:48):
Nabal that although I can'tprove it biblically, I have a pretty
good context for.
He clearly had a lot to give.
The only way you have a lot togive is if you earn a lot.
So the guy was a hard worker.
But can I tell you, in all myyears of pastoring, it has been more
often than not statistically, and this is my experience, it's been
(15:11):
the woman wanting to begenerous and give to the local church,
and it's been the husbandgetting extremely angry and fighting
the wife over it.
And that same husband will goand spend all kinds of money.
And even if they don't spendthe money, sometimes they just feel
like, I work so hard, I don'twant to see it go to that which is
(15:32):
actually revealing that thehusband can't see in the spirit because
there are eternal rewards.
And so I believe that if we'regoing to lead our wives, we must
lead them.
Because it's funny how youtried to lead her into sex.
We have no problem taking risks.
I mean, many men, I mean, women do it too.
(15:54):
So don't get me wrong, I'm nottrying to be reverse sexist here,
but I'm saying it's funny howwe will have unprotected sex and
possibly get AIDS as a resultof it.
We'll have unprotected sex, exposing ourself to herpes.
And we don't care in thatmoment because of the instant gratification,
we're willing to take thegreatest risks, but we can't do that
financially.
(16:15):
And a lot of it comes down toone simple thing, is we have not
been fathered to understandthat delayed gratification is how
you produce investment, andinvestment is how you produce wealth.
And Wisdom attracts wealth, and foolishness repels it.
And what happens is when we gointo the instant, that's the carnal,
(16:37):
that's the fleshly.
I wanna feel this right now.
I wanna do this right now.
We've drank.
Some of us guys, we would takea risk where we drank so much alcohol,
we could have died of alcohol poisoning.
But we will not transfer thatrisk taking into financial generosity
to the local church.
But what it goes to show youis which kingdom you're operating
in.
The physical or the spiritual.
(16:59):
Because when you move into thespiritual, you break free from that
and you start seeing in the spirit.
And then you start leading inall ways.
And I think a powerful momentthat happens in every marriage is
when the husband says, I ledyou into fornication, but now I'm
gonna lead you into generosity.
I'm gonna lead you into covenant.
(17:20):
I'm gonna lead you into.
And I believe that our house, the mint of valor of our house.
And I want to prophesy overeach and every one of you are some
of you are gonna be the firstman in your lineage to be completely
whole in all things andlacking in nothing.
And you may have startedwrong, but you are gonna finish right.
You may have started in a deficit.
(17:42):
Your.
Listen, my dad has been deadfor over a decade.
I didn't inherit nothing.
As a part of the divorcedecree, I was supposed to get money
that literally got spentbefore I got it.
I didn't get nothing but kick.
My name was deleted from theobituary of my dad's death.
Will you talk about the rootof rejection?
(18:04):
You ain't going to tell me nothing.
I have been rejected deeply.
And I had to make up my mind, you know, what?
I might have to be like Abraham.
Abraham was the first.
There was no Mosaic Law.
It was literally Abrahamsaying, I don't know.
I don't know what to do.
I just know that I can't servethe idols of my father.
And I have to walk in thisdifferent direction.
(18:26):
And I don't know who I came totalk to, but I'm looking for some
men who will rise up likeAbraham and.
And say, I may not have it allfigured out, but I know I'm not bending
my knees to the idols of my forefathers.
I'll walk in this different direction.
I feel uncomfortable.
I feel scared.
I feel lost.
But I also feel free.
(18:48):
And that's why I say yourdestiny is not going to be that.
You're a nabal, mad at yourwife because she gave $50 when you
used to snort 500 on a Friday night.
You will not go down like Nabal.
Come on.
I'm fighting for your destiny.
And do you feel loved, men?
(19:08):
Do you feel loved?
Okay, one guy in the backwent, now I do.
He looked at me like this.
You're right.
You're all right.
You're all right.
I'll stay a little longer.
He did like this.
He did like this.
You all right now.
But we haven't been taught.
We're a whole bunch of orphansthat were raised by orphans that
(19:32):
were raised by orphans.
We don't.
I come from the culture of the poor.
My mom raised us on foodstamps back in the day.
There was no card.
It was a book.
And you tore the coupons outof the book.
I had never even seen no realdollar bill till I was a teenager,
started working for myself.
Y'all don't know about that.
And we went to the cornerstore in South Chicago, got ourselves
(19:55):
some limon, got ourself, allthe good stuff.
That's how we lived.
Hood rats eating government cheese.
It comes in a block.
And that cheese tastes good.
I don't care who you are.
Comes in a block.
That's what I was raised on.
Come on.
That's how you get a physiquelike this.
Why are you laughing?
Rejected me deeper on stage.
(20:17):
But you think I'm joking, butI'm trying.
When I'm preaching on Sunday, this pulpit is sacred because I've
got to go back in time.
And I'm not speaking to the 38year old man in the seat.
I'm speaking to the nine yearold boy in his heart.
And I'm saying, you can.
There's enough time.
You can get it right.
(20:37):
And I believe in you becausethe Holy Spirit is in you and you
can change.
And I grieved for all theseyears, I've been grieved as a pastor
to see the men struggle.
And this is the year.
Our men are going all the way.
I believe it.
This is the year.
And I'm preaching to myself.
Cause there were years where Isaid, oh, Julie, we don't need to
tithe.
(20:58):
And she said, yes, we do.
And I was like Nabothmanifesting, but look how it ends.
And in the morning, when thewine had gone out of Naboth, his
wife told him these thingsthat she had gone and given all this
stuff.
And then his heart died within him.
So the heart died within himand became as a stone.
(21:20):
And then 10 years, 10 dayslater, the Lord struck Nabal and
he died.
That's first Samuel, chapter25, verse 36.
So let me tell you, accordingto the American Heart association,
they.
And this is crazy becausethese are doctors and scientists,
they say when you don'tforgive, when you hold all that bitterness
(21:40):
and resentment in, they'veactually seen on a physiological
body, it goes from your mindinto your veins and there's a hardening
and a calcification thathappens and a stiffening of your
actual arteries.
And the number one killer inAmerica is what heart disease.
And this is.
It's not just our dietphysically, it's our diet spiritually.
(22:04):
And so when you're holdingthat, I mean, I told this story,
I did that interview with CarlLentz a couple weeks ago, which many
people are getting free about.
And I'll never forget my firstday in counseling.
I had developed full blownalcoholism, destroyed my marriage,
destroyed my life.
And, you know, and I wasdrinking a lot of alcohol every day,
(22:25):
all day.
And I was in that firstcounseling session because I was
basically like, I'm eithergonna kill myself or go to counseling.
And you ever been like 1% alive?
You're like, it's not 100%dead, but I got 1% alive.
I came out on my last threadand I sat down in front of that dude
and I'll never forget, I lookat this counselor and while he's
(22:47):
talking to me, I had just paid money.
I had just paid money to meetwith him.
And at that time I had verylittle money.
And I remember being so angrybecause it was like my dad had just
recently died.
That's really what started all this.
That chaos was when my daddied, it triggered me.
I basically had like apsychotic break, like a nervous breakdown.
(23:08):
And all of a sudden I'm incounseling and I'm looking at this
man and I am filling with somuch rage because I'm like, nobody's
ever cared about me my whole life.
I mean, and I was like, andnow I have to give you money.
I have to, I mean, to.
To another man.
I mean, I was enraged.
I wanted to destroy the wholeroom because there was something,
(23:30):
there was so much injusticewhere I was like, all I've ever tried
to be was a good man.
And it doesn't add up.
I went to college like theytold me to, and I don't get paid
enough money and I havestudent loan debt and I have to live
in this stupid.
I mean, I was going crazy andI was like, and now I've got to give
you my money.
You M, A, F, B, D, every cussword, unloaded on this dude.
(23:55):
And when I was done, heliterally never even moved.
And I was up, ranting aroundthe room, pushing the furniture.
I mean, imagine being in acounseling office and a young Mike
Signorelli's in the other room.
And you think Legion is in there.
I'm trying to accuratelyportray it.
And when I was all done and hehas his legs crossed, and the more
(24:15):
calm he was, the more dickedoff I was.
And all of a sudden he said, are you done?
I said, yeah, I'm done.
And he said, okay, I don'twant you to ever pay me ever again.
Because I didn't get into thisfor money.
And I will meet with you everysingle week until you're completely
free.
And then I'll meet with youafter that, and I'll try to be for
(24:37):
you what you didn't have.
So you gotta understand, whenI came to New York, I came with that
in my heart of saying, I wannabe that for a group of men.
Or I'll say, I'll meet youhere every week at this campus.
I'll meet you in Miami.
I'll meet you in Indiana.
I'll meet you every week untilyou get free.
And if you don't ever givemoney, I truly don't care.
Cause it ain't gonna stop whatGod is doing through this church.
(25:01):
And there's something holyabout that, because you break an
orphan spirit.
And that's what that guy did.
He broke an orphan spirit offof me.
And then, of course, I went onthis counseling journey.
It was Christian counseling.
And finally I got free from alcoholism.
It was a major thing I never wanted.
How I knew it was different issomething changed in my taste.
(25:24):
Like, I get sick, I getnauseous thinking about drinking.
I actually get nauseous.
Which, as somebody who used tobe an alcoholic, that in and of itself
is a crazy statement.
Cause I was a connoisseur.
To go from a connoisseur toget nauseous thinking about it is
the Holy Ghost.
But it worked with thiscounseling journey.
Why did I spend so much timeon this?
(25:46):
Let me just finish, because Igot a few more things to say, and
then we're out.
Nabal died because of ahardened heart.
What if I told you you've beentelling people that your dad died
of alcoholism, but your dadactually died of a hardened heart?
What if you think you've beentelling people your dad died of suicide,
(26:08):
but your dad actually died ofa hardened heart?
You know how you get a hard heart?
It's called a callous.
I'm not going to let anybodyhurt me.
So if I protect me, nobody canhurt me.
If I don't let myself jointhis church, this church can't hurt
me.
If I don't let myself, likeMike, Mike can't disappoint me.
(26:30):
If I don't let myself get myexpectations up, then nobody.
I'm speaking into somethingdeep right now.
But see, the only thing thathappens is a calloused heart turns
into a hardened heart.
A hardened heart turns into adead heart.
And that's what happened with Naboth.
David didn't need his stuff.
(26:51):
And let me just give you theother story.
One of the favorite ways Iexegete the scriptures is I like
to do fiction, Christian fiction.
So, for example, I've donethis many, many times on stage.
I'm not gonna do it today.
But imagine if Judas believedthat the cross was for him too, and
accepted the redemption of the blood.
(27:11):
And in Acts, chapter two, instead of Peter preaching the sermon,
it was Judas.
How much more powerful wouldthat have been?
I'm the one who sold him out,but all of you sell them out too.
And the freedom was for me,and the freedom is for you.
I mean, I've thought aboutJudas preaching instead of Peter,
and I think it would have beena better sermon.
(27:34):
That's all Christian fiction.
But think about Nabal.
Now, Nabal never gives to David.
His heart is hardened when hehears that his wife gave his stuff
to David.
And then he dies literally 10days later.
Let's do the other story.
David is not king yet.
Saul is king while thisstory's happening.
So David's doing theseexploits and he hears that Nabal
(27:57):
has given as much stuff aspossible, even to the detriment of
his own family, potentiallyhaving reserves.
And just.
Nabal blessed the army underDavid and sent everything he had.
And then all of a sudden, inthe years to come, David becomes
king.
And now David owns everything.
What do you think happens to Nabal?
(28:19):
What do you think happens?
Nabal's minding his business, watching the jets, just got home
from fighting through traffic, getting ready to watch the Knicks
game, and all of a sudden hegets a call.
It's David.
I haven't forgotten whatyou've done for me.
Come meet me in the palace.
And then all of a sudden,Nabal gets to come back to his kids.
(28:42):
Kids.
I had an opportunity I gotasked to give to David when David
was not king.
Oh, I didn't wanna do it.
I was so scared.
Do you know our rent inJerusalem was $3,000 a month that
time.
Come on.
I'm trying to help you.
But I gave it because Ibelieved in what God was doing.
(29:03):
And now, all of a sudden, it'scome back to us a hundredfold.
See, there's always a crossroads.
Many of you are in thatcrossroads right now.
Some of you at every campusare listening to me and the whole
service.
You're saying, I don't like him.
I don't agree with him.
I don't believe anything he's saying.
I can't wait for this to beover and I'm gonna leave.
(29:23):
And that's okay, becausethat's your choice.
We all get a choice.
But guess what?
In the future, you won't get achoice for the repercussions of the
decision that you made wrong today.
But let me give you hope.
The hope is sometimes you makea decision today that ends up being
(29:44):
something you reap tomorrow.
And sometimes when yourchildren come to you and say, dad,
I don't understand.
No one like our family liveslike this.
No one like our family hasthis joy, this peace.
What is the difference?
Oh, let me tell you.
When I was in another season,I made that decision.
And I'm reaping off of what I sowed.
Don't be like Nabal.
(30:09):
Don't be like Nabal.
With the last few minutes, there's two more things.
I wanted to spend most of mytime there because I think that's
the most important.
But number two is very simple.
Closed hands will block living water.
Closed hands will block living water.
(30:29):
In Second Kings, chapter four, you actually see that there is this
widow, and she was in afinancial crisis.
As a matter of fact, shecouldn't pay the debt that she owed.
Oh, man.
I know what it's like to beunder debilitating debt.
I know what it's like tooverextend yourself.
But let me just tell you, sometimes in America, we don't understand
how deep the consequences go.
(30:51):
And I'm just like Sallie Mae.
You ain't getting your money.
I tell you what.
Sallie Mae's calling.
Sally, I broke up with you along time ago.
Sally.
Sally.
I'll be dead by the time.
You know how it is.
Yeah.
Come on.
Casting that demon out.
What's your name?
Sally.
Some of you know, if you'renot laughing, it's because you're
(31:12):
freer than us.
If you don't know who she is,you're freer than us.
But why do I say that?
Because the consequences ofnot paying this debt for this woman
was that her children weregoing to be taken into slavery.
So she's faced with thisimpossible situation.
I cannot pay this debt, andbecause of that, my children are
(31:35):
going to go into slavery.
And she comes to Elijah, the prophet.
Prophet, please.
You know God.
You know how the spiritual works.
I don't understand it.
Tell me what to do.
And this is what he says.
I want to read the Scripturesto you.
Now.
The wife of one of the sons ofthe prophets cried to Elijah, your
(31:55):
servant, my husband.
My husband's dead, so she's a widow.
And you know that your servantfeared the Lord.
In other words, my husbandfeared the Lord.
But now I'm on my own.
For those of you who aresingle mothers, I want you to read
2nd Kings, chapter 4, verse 1.
Because you see a singlemother reaching out to the prophet,
saying, I don't have a husbandand my kids are going to get sold
(32:16):
into slavery.
I don't know what to do.
I feel the anointing on this.
And then he said, go outside, borrow vessels.
Somebody say, borrow, borrowvessels from all your neighbors.
Empty vessels, and not too few.
Then go in and shut the doorbehind yourself and your sons and
(32:38):
pour into all these vessels.
And when one is full, set it aside.
See, sometimes you gotta shutthe door and get into the private,
secret place to get into aplace where oil is produced.
Sometimes you got to go see,the prophet said, go get your vessels
and then shut the door.
Somebody say, shut the door.
(33:00):
Right now you have a digitaldoor open called Instagram.
Shut that door and get yourbutt in prayer.
Some of you got a digital doorcalled YouTube.
Open, shut the door and getinto the place where oil is produced.
Some of you got a digital doorcalled calling all your friends to
talk about your problem.
If you want to solve yourproblem, Shut the door and get into
(33:23):
prayer and get off the phone, shut the door.
Then all of a sudden, she'sgot these empty vessels.
Oh, Lord, show your peoplewhat you can do with empty vessels.
See, the most important partwas in the preparation.
Somebody say preparation?
(33:44):
The most important part was inthe preparation because you understand
that when the widow went to goget the vessels.
Julie.
It looks stupid because whenyou get vessels that are empty, I'm
sure the neighbors weretalking about her.
Oh, you know the single momthat lives on our block?
Oh, she asked me for an empty vessel.
(34:05):
She actually thinks that thatmiracle, miraculously oil is gonna
be filled in this vessel.
Oh, she's a lunatic.
Oh, she.
Oh, come on.
I'm talking to some of thewomen in this house.
Oh, yeah.
You know, she's going to thischurch V1.
She actually thinks God.
She actually thinks God'sgonna heal her body.
(34:26):
She actually thinks God'sgonna meet her need.
See, sometimes when you go tothe neighbors and you ask the neighbors
for help, all you're gonna getis gossip.
That's why the last step ofthe preparation was, shut the door.
Shut the door.
This is a job for Jesus.
Shut the door.
This is a job for Jesus.
(34:48):
I'll never forget my single mother.
She played the piano like youplay the piano.
And the Holy Ghost taught herhow to play the piano.
And I remember we were onwelfare, peeling off those food stamps
from that book, the coupons.
My momma didn't have no money.
She.
She.
My stepdad left, and she put asign on the wall that said, thank
you, Lord, for my piano.
(35:09):
That's an empty jar.
That's an empty jar.
I got somebody sitting in thiscampus right now that I just released
a vlog that showed how she gotblessed with a car and somebody gave
her a car.
See, this is an empty vessel.
So what happens is, I feel the anointing.
I love being surrounded bywidows who know how to gather empty
(35:35):
vessels.
Oh, those people are my kindof people.
I want to be surrounded bythose kind of people.
And I remember my mom put onthat sign, thank you, Lord, for my
piano.
Well, somebody came over toour house to install a new stove
because we rented the house.
And the guy who came over todeliver that stove was a pastor of
a local church.
(35:55):
He asked her, what does thissign mean?
But what's funny is, just theday before, my uncle, who's now passed,
was in our house and literallylooked at that sign and ruthlessly
made fun of my mother while hewas drinking beer and said, sandra,
you're so stupid.
Your husband left you becauseyou're stupid.
Your husband left becauseyou're stupid, Sandra.
(36:17):
I remember being so mad at himfor talking to my mom.
But I was a little kid.
I couldn't do nothing about it.
God ain't gonna give you no piano.
Well, you're stupid.
I mean, he was going in on my mom.
Then the next day, this pastorwho's actually working a job to install
appliances, comes in our houseand says, what is this sign?
(36:37):
And she says, well, I'm a Christian.
I play the piano, but I don'thave a piano.
This is before keyboards.
That's how old we are around here.
And she said, and I believethat God's gonna give me a piano.
And you Know what that pastor said?
I'm a pastor.
You don't know I'm a pastor.
But I have an extra piano atmy church, and I'm going to go pick
it up right now, and I'm goingto bring it back and I'm going to
(37:00):
put it on that wall.
And the very next day, thatday, my mom was playing that piano
before the Lord.
And I remember the worshipfill in our house, my mother's piano.
But it was an empty vessel.
She shut the door, she said,God, I believe.
And guess what?
That pastor now watch.
Watch the dominoes.
That pastor was Hidasmo Eddie.
(37:22):
That pastor Eddie, his namewas, and he was a Spanish pastor.
And we joined his church, andthat's where my family went on our
journey.
And then my youth pastorbecame Joey Miranda.
And Joey Miranda mentored me,and he raised me in the faith.
And when I preached my firstsermon at 15 years old, it was Joey
Miranda who was.
Was there for it.
(37:43):
So you see, the dominoes were dropping.
But it started with my mombeing crazy enough to be like, God
can give me a piano.
See, by the way, in a fewmonths, Joey Miranda is coming to
preach here in New York.
And we're going to talk about heritage.
We're going to talk about heritage.
But you got to shut the doorand say, I believe.
(38:04):
Here's my empty vessel.
So what happens?
She begin to pull.
It would be like you coming tome and saying, pastor Mike, I'm broke.
What do I do?
Go to Chase bank and openseven accounts.
I told you I was poor.
I told you I didn't haveenough money.
Yes, open seven bank accounts.
The preparation is where themiracle starts happening.
(38:25):
The preparation is where themiracle starts happening.
You've got to prepare.
So when you're giving in theoffering, every week, you're preparing
for more.
What you're saying is, God,I'm getting used to giving.
Because giving is not an action.
It is an identity.
Did you hear what I just said?
Giving is not an action.
(38:45):
Giving is an identity.
It's who I am.
I give.
And this is what the Lord'sdoing as he's preparing.
So I want you to clench yourfist like this and just hold it out
like this.
Like this.
Right now you have some things.
You have a car, you have anapartment, a house.
(39:06):
Across every location, just dolike this.
You have kids, a spouse.
You have.
You all have stuff.
Computers, laptops, phones.
You all have stuff.
But let me tell you, if youkeep your hand like this, you will
only have what you have.
Now Go like this.
(39:27):
See, this is the process of freedom.
This is the process of freedom.
But let me tell you what theLord wants to do now.
Go like this.
This is the posture receiving.
And if you're willing.
If you're willing.
See, the Bible says when youlet your life go, that's when you
find it.
(39:48):
Oh, I remember.
I don't think you guys fullyget it.
I went through so much abuseand trauma that I overcompensated
when I became an adult.
I bought a house at 22 years old.
And that house was an idolbecause I said, nobody's gonna hurt
me in this house.
This is my house.
This is my house.
(40:08):
I'm safe.
And I mean, it literally waslike an idol.
So when the Lord says, mike, move to New York and give and sell
your house.
I.
I was like, no, God, no, the idol.
But when I left go of theidol, when I lost my life, that's
when he says, I want to giveyou your true life.
(40:32):
And did you know that rightnow in Valparaiso, Indiana, down
the street from where I soldmy house, I now own another house.
And in New York City, I ownanother house.
He will give you double foryour trouble.
(40:53):
He's the God of more than enough.
He's the God of overflow.
Mike, if you let go of theidol and you learn that under the
shadow of my wings, you're safe.
And no house saved you.
But I saved you.
If you'll learn that it's notabout how much you have, it's about
how much you flow, Then I'llflow the resources of the nations
(41:15):
through you.
Oh, I feel the anointing.
It's not about how much you have.
It's about how much you give.
Last paralyzed tongue.
Would you stand to your feetwith me?
Come on.
Across every location.
Turn that piano up.
(41:36):
There's a grace on the piano today.
Yeah, Come on.
It only was the blood.
Come on.
He's prophesying.
Wow.
Come on.
(41:58):
We're removing the blockagesfrom our soul.
We're about to take communionin a few moments.
But the last one that we'vegot to deal with is a paralyzed tongue.
There was this high rankingmilitary leader named Naaman in 2nd
Kings 5.
And Naaman was a bad dude.
(42:18):
He was tough.
But he had a hidden conditioncalled leprosy.
It was a skin condition.
Men, there are some thingsthat we can hide for a long time.
Sometimes we have a hiddencondition called addiction.
Sometimes we have a hiddencondition called lust and perversion.
Sometimes we have a hiddencondition called Woundedness, shame,
(42:42):
depression, anxiety.
You can hide anxiety for along time.
Trust me, I know.
I had it.
And he had leprosy.
But eventually that leprosystarts growing over your hands, and
you can't put a shirt over it.
Eventually it starts growingup on your face.
You can't hide it under your collar.
(43:04):
See, I hid my drinking untilmy drinking couldn't be hidden anymore.
My wife was literally clearing.
I'm so ashamed of it sometimeswhen I think about it, because it's
like, how could you get to thepoint where she's getting in the
car and there's beer cans everywhere?
Y'all don't know.
(43:25):
You try to hide it, but it'llfind you and it'll expose you.
But the exposure is the firststep to freedom, because you can't.
It's like sometimes it's gottacome out.
And so what happens is, youknow, this leprosy in Naaman gets
exposed, and he's like, well,I'm this mighty man.
(43:46):
I'm a big bad dude.
But I can't hide my physical condition.
So he goes to Elisha, same person.
The last woman went to same person.
And Elijah does what prophets do.
And prophets ask you to do thething that requires faith.
Say faith.
Faith.
They ask you to do the thingsthat require faith.
(44:09):
And so he says, okay, yougotta go to the Jordan.
And by the way, I've been inthe Jordan.
As a matter of fact, I had afriend that was in Israel with me
on my last tour, and he had anextreme gluten allergy.
If he would have one morsel ofgluten, it would have put him in
the bed with a debilitatingmigraine for days.
So he was completely glutenfree and had to be extremely regimented
(44:33):
when he went into the river.
He asked me in the RiverJordan to baptize him.
Soon as he came up out of thewater, he said, the Lord just freed
me from my gluten intoleranceand I'm healed.
And I said, bro, if you'regoing to test that, that's on you
and God, because I ain't goingto tend to you in the bed for the
next three days.
And we were joking.
That guy started eating glutenitems with gluten that day.
(44:55):
It has now been more than fiveyears, and he's never once had a
sign or symptom of glutenintolerance since then.
And it happened in the River Jordan.
But the prophet Elijah said, Iwant you to go to Jordan, and I want
you to dip seven times.
How many?
Some miracles are instant, some are progressive.
(45:17):
And the Lord is telling manyof you right now that I'm gonna bring
you into a progressive miraclebecause you're gonna have to dip
seven times.
What does that mean?
It's not gonna happen thefirst time.
First time I went tocounseling, I didn't come out be
like, man, it's crazy.
I'm sober.
I love my wife, I forgive myfather, and.
And I'm ready to rock.
Jules, you wanna go to Disneyand celebrate?
(45:38):
Second time I went to counseling.
Same.
Third time, Fourth time.
See, some miracles are progressive.
Why?
Cause the Lord's humbling us.
Mike, go down in that water.
Matter of fact, can youimagine how tough he felt under all
his armor?
He couldn't take the armor inthe water.
(45:58):
He had to strip down naked.
So sometimes you got to takeall that armor off and get down in
that water and make yourself afool for a little while.
You know, when you're gettingfree from addiction, the first thing
they tell you is you have toadmit you have a problem.
I was clinically diagnosedwith alcoholism.
If I would have not done amedically supervised detox, I would
(46:21):
have died like Amy Winehouse.
And I remember, at the heightof that experience, me saying, I'm
not an alcoholic.
I was drunk when I said it.
This is how much denial we're in.
Denial.
And the guy remember saying, mike, you are clinically diagnosable.
We have to take you through amedical supervision to detox.
(46:42):
Of course, this was 15 plusyears ago.
But he's like, we have to takeyou through a medical verification
of this process because youcould die.
And my body, I remember thatgoing through my body.
It was terrible.
Terrible.
But the thing was, I didn'tbecome an alcoholic instantly, and
I didn't break alcoholism instantly.
(47:05):
My miracle was in motion.
My miracle was in the movement.
My miracle.
So some of you.
God deliver me from lust.
I am delivering you one day ata time.
God deliver me from greed.
I am delivering you everysingle time you get paid.
God deliver me.
It's like, yes, I'm doing itin motion.
(47:27):
It takes time.
God help me in my marriage.
I am every single day.
So what I love about Naamanand I wanted to end this sermon on
encouragement is Naaman does it.
Even though he got mad, justlike the first guy.
Nabal.
Nabal and Naaman, two namesfor your kids.
(47:50):
The first guy got mad and disobeyed.
The second guy got mad and obeyed.
See, the thing is, when Godcalls you to do something Supernatural.
You're probably going to get mad.
The question is not about howyou feel.
It's about what you do.
And I know that God willsometimes anger me.
Why God?
Why do you want me to do this?
(48:11):
God?
But I'm the second guy.
I'm the guy who obeys.
I'm the guy's like, I'm mad,but I'm taking my armor off.
I'm mad, but I'm getting inthe water.
I'm mad because I didn't gethealed the first time.
I'm mad because I didn't gethealed the second time.
I'm mad because I didn't gethealed the third time.
And I'll do it the whole time, mad, until I get my breakthrough.
(48:34):
I don't know who that's for,but that's for somebody.
Keep coming to church.
Keep sowing.
Keep tithing.
Keep serving.
Keep loving your spouse.
Keep forgiving.
You are doing it.
You're a legend in your family.
I'm telling you, the Lord'salready shown me my fate.
(48:57):
And I'm supposed to lead the breakers.
That's why I'm on planet Earth.
And I'm looking out at thiscrowd in Brooklyn.
I'm looking out at this crowdin Indiana.
I'm looking out of this crowdin Miami.
And you are the legend of your family.
And it hurts the most for you.
It hurts the most for you.
(49:17):
Congratulations.
You get to be the breaker.
Oh, yeah.
It'll be a lot easier for them.
But you're different.
You're the legend.
Nobody could tell Abrahamwhere to go.
But guess what?
You're gonna have arelationship with the Lord unlike
any other.
Cause you're gonna have to.
Oh, I feel something breakingin the spirit.
(49:38):
We're about to take communion.
I feel.
I feel the flow.
Soften your heart.
Soften your heart.
Open your hands.
The reason why there's I'mshaking up here is because I've walked
this thing out myself.
So I'm speaking from a realmof authority.
(49:59):
This has been the hardestthing I've ever had to do in my life.
And unparalyze your tongue.
In other words, start speaking life.
Start speaking life.
Here's what we're gonna fast from.
We're gonna fast from negativity.
Don't just fast from food andnot fast from negativity.
(50:22):
I want you to get your tonguespeaking and declaring the word of
the Lord.
Speaking affirmation, Speaking.
Declaration, speaking.
I can, I, will, I shall.
I can, I will, I shall.
I can, I, will, I, shall.
I.
There's you got to get yourtongue unparalyzed.
I can, I will, I shall.
I'm doing this thing, Lord.
(50:45):
These are the three thingswe're about to do.
So take your communion cup,get the wafer ready.
Turn that piano up a littlebit more.
Across every location, I just.
I feel a grace.
(51:06):
Some of you are like.
But I don't ever feel like Ifit in.
That is on purpose.
Stop trying to fit in.
You're an original.
You're not a duplicate.
There is only one of you.
That's the point.
But there won't be.
But there won't be one for long.
Because you're about toreplicate what can't be duplicated.
(51:29):
Yeah, there's only one of you.
That's the point.
But there's gonna be manypeople who identify with you.
Our church is rich.
Rich in books, rich in songs,Rich in businesses, rich.
Rich in events.
Our church is rich.
And my destiny is to get yourdestiny unlocked.
(51:50):
I'm declaring under the soundof my voice that you are going to
live in overflow.
And the books will be written, and the songs will be written, and
the doors will be open.
Properties will be purchased.
Then, yes, you will not go tothe grave with it on the inside of
you dying because of stagnation.
But it will flow.
Rivers of living water.
(52:12):
Flow from our heart.
Rivers.
A river of finances.
A river of poetry.
A river of song.
A river of dancing.
We're opening up all the rivers.
(52:32):
Rivers of liver water.
I'm unlocking the dam this month.
I'm unlocking the dam this month.
It may have been dammed up inyour family for six generations,
but we're breaking the damnloose this month.
(52:53):
Overflow.
Overflow.
Oh, I feel it.
I got.
Okay, hold on.
I gotta tell you this story.
I debated on whether or not Ishould tell you.
We're gonna do community.
It's the best way to do communion.
You guys know Denise and RickRenner, right?
How amazing were they?
(53:15):
So Denise and Rick Renner were here.
You gotta understand this guy.
Internationally syndicatedChristian television.
Offices in over a dozen nations.
The first earned doctorate inthe entire country of Russia.
They're doing an approvedinterpretation of the Bible called
the Riv.
People will preach out of hisinterpretation of the Bible for generations
(53:37):
to come.
He's a living legend himself.
I spent all weekend and theyasked me every question under the
sun.
I told them about the sold out stadium.
We did.
I told him about the bestselling book I have.
I told him about the sevenlocations, the seven campuses I planted.
I told Them about the movie Imade that was in theaters for, you
know, three times, 2,000theaters plus.
(53:59):
And I thought I was tellingthem how amazing God had been in
and through our lives.
But this is.
There's levels to this thing, y'all.
There's levels.
When we got to the end Sundaynight in Manhattan, Denise said,
hey, can I pray for you andyour wife before we leave, before
we part ways?
(54:20):
And she looks at me and she'slike, Mike.
And it was almost with thedemeanor of like, I've listened to
you all weekend and I trulyfeel sorry for you because you think
too small and she's older inher face.
She's been around the block.
And it was so shocking to mebecause in my circles, I scare everybody
(54:41):
with how big I dream.
In my circles, I'm like.
I mean, even when I talk toVladimir, Isaiah Pagani, all those
guys, I mean, I'm the onewho's always scaring them.
Vlad, you need to go multi site.
I don't know if I can do that yet.
No, Vlad, you can do it now.
He's doing it.
You know, Pagani, write thatbook, do this.
We're always pushing eachother, but I'm always the one in
(55:02):
the group that's dreaming the biggest.
So you gotta understand, whenDenise came to me and said, mike,
your mind, it's so limited.
You remember this moment?
I didn't even.
I was like, this is theprophetic word.
Because it took somebody in awhole nother realm of faith to see
that what I thought was bigwas still limiting God.
(55:25):
So she said, I'm here onassignment to lay my hand on you,
and I'm gonna break that smallthinking off of your mind.
She is the first person in myentire life that has ever told me
I think small.
But that was a sign to me thatGod was trying to say, mike, you're
acting like you're at the end,but you're actually at the beginning.
(55:48):
And I'm going to doexceedingly greater, more than you
can think.
And I didn't even see it.
I needed freedom last week anddidn't even see it.
So I don't care where you'reat, I'm going to be Denise Renner
for you today.
And I'm going to pray for your mind.
And I'm going to pray thatwhen we take communion, just like
(56:08):
when Jesus body was broken, the blood had to pour out.
He couldn't give you a drop,he had to give you a flow.
I pray that when we takecommunion, the flow starts in Your
life.
And God breaks this smallthinking off of you like he's breaking
it off of me.
(56:29):
Oh, I feel the Holy Ghost.
Anybody else take this wafer?
I want you guys to repeat thiswith me.
Heavenly Father.
Come on.
I can't hear you in Indiana.
Heavenly Father, this is yourbody that was broken for me so that
your blood would flow for myredemption, for my healing, for my
(56:55):
deliverance.
And now I offer my life to bebroken for the flow for what you
have, God to be done in theearth through me.
And Father, I ask your will bedone on earth as it is in heaven.
(57:16):
Amen.
Let's take this wafer.
His body that was broken.
Come on.
It is finished.
And now let's take this cupwhich represents the blood.
(57:37):
Oh, wow.
Now we're going to take 60 seconds.
I'm going to time it, andwe're going to allow the Lord to
minister to us.
Because you shifted now intothe flesh flow.
So across every location.
Let's reverence the Holy Spirit.
For 60 seconds.
(57:57):
We're going to reverence theHoly Spirit.
So this is finding him instillness, finding him in this moment.
Because when you tookcommunion, it was an acknowledgment
of, yes, Lord, I receive.
You opened your hands.
When I had you confess, yourtongue was no longer paralyzed, and
(58:19):
you softened your heart.
So you did all three.
And so we're gonna take 60seconds and just say, okay, Lord.
Now.
Now that there's no blockage, speak.
Now that there's no blockage, minister.
Now that there's no blockage, confirm.
And so we're gonna take 60seconds and just listen to the music.
(58:40):
Listen to the voice of the Lord.
And I want you to take thattime right now.
(59:10):
Sa.
(59:46):
Come on.
That was just one minute.
The Lord is so proud of you.
Oh, yes.
So proud of you.
So proud of you.
Oh, Lord, how long am I goingto be alone when you allow me to
be your whole portion, oh,Lord, how long am I going to be in
(01:00:10):
lack until you overcome thisfear of finances and trust me fully,
oh, Lord, how long am I goingto be confused until you shut the
door and let me speak whatonly I can speak?
Yes, yes.
This is the time that he'sordained for you.
(01:00:30):
The time in your life.
A healing time, A time ofrestoration, time of renewal.
Let them dress those wounds.
Let them stitch you up.
Let them bring you to thathyperbaric chamber.
Time of healing.
Time of healing.
Time of healing.
(01:00:50):
Oh, your feathers will grow back.
Oh, your beak will grow back stronger.
Oh, yes, you'll Fly again.
Oh, yes, you'll preach again.
Oh yes, you'll teach again.
Oh yes, you'll lead worship again.
Oh yes, you'll write again.
Oh yes, you'll say poetry again.
Oh, yes, you'll sing again.
(01:01:12):
Oh, yes, you'll dance again.
Oh, yes, you'll do it again.
But the Lord says, I broughtyou here to make you complete in
the area of sonship, to makeyou complete in the area of being
a daughter.
To burn some things down andthen finally rebuild the waste places
(01:01:35):
of your foundation.
Some of you say, God, I feellike a beginner.
And the Lord says, I'm takingyou back to the beginning.
Oh, Lord, I feel like a rookie.
Lord says, I brought you to aplace of humility because I'm gonna
strengthen every place that'sbeen brought low.
Clear the rubble of your pastlife away.
(01:01:57):
Yes, you've been through a demolition.
Yes, you've been through atime of demolition.
But the Lord is clearing therubble of your last.
Some of you have been like, but there's still remnants of it.
Lord, I still talk a certainway every once in a while.
I still do things.
There's remnants of it.
But the Lord says, I'mclearing the remnants, rest of it
away.
And then I'm going to rebuildthe foundations.
(01:02:20):
And then upon thesefoundations that I'm rebuilding,
I will begin to build thatwhich I have prophesied through my
prophets.
Oh, for many of you said, lord, but I thought your prophet
prophesied accurately.
But Lord, I thought that Idreamt in a dream that you've given
(01:02:44):
me.
But I hear the Lord saying, but they spoke of what they saw after
the foundation.
And now I'll go back andfinish the foundation.
So then that which was spokencan be built.
(01:03:13):
This is revival, by the way.
This is revival.
You're about to flow.
You're about to flow.
You're about to flow.
You're about to flow.
You're about to flow.
This is revival.
You're about to flow.
It's funny because the Lordshowed me that even the most skeptical
(01:03:34):
people of our church areactually starting to get swept into
the presence he's showing.
Even the most skeptical peopleare like, I'm about to blow.
I'm about to believe it.
Somebody say in their heart, Ican hear your thoughts.
I somebody, I'm hearing manypeople saying, I'm about to believe
this preacher.
I'm about to believe it.
(01:03:54):
Yes, yes, you're about to believe.
There's faith that's comingupon you right now.
This is not hype.
This Is hope.
Hope is.
I expect the promises of Godto be fulfilled.
(01:04:15):
You know, yesterday I was on awalk and while I was walking, the
Lord was speaking to me.
And anybody, the Holy Ghostjust talks to you at random times.
You're like, why don't youtalk to me when I want you to?
But then when I don't want youto, you're always on me.
So the Holy Spirit's talkingto me and he said, mike, you're a
man of great faith, but you donot have hope.
(01:04:38):
And I said, what?
I said, lord, isn't that thesame thing, faith and hope?
He says, no, look it up.
So I start looking it up.
Watch this.
Faith is when you actuallybelieve in the promises of God, but
hope is when you allowyourself to expect them to come to
(01:05:01):
pass.
And many of you have hadfaith, but you don't have hope.
You believe in the promises ofGod, maybe even for other people,
but you are not expecting themto come to pass for yourself.
And even as the father of thishouse, if I'm getting my butt whooped,
(01:05:21):
you're all getting a whoopingwith me.
We have been operating ingreat faith, but not operating in
great hope.
But I speak to the north, tothe south, to the east and the west.
That V1 church will rise upwith hope.
And we will put our hope inthe Lord and we will be in expectation
(01:05:41):
of every single one of hispromises coming to pass.
Lord, I expect you to do whatyou said you were going to do.
Come on, who wants hope?
Come on, let's grow together.
Lord, I pray for all of uswho, all of us former orphans who
have constantly had ourexpectations broken, who have constantly
(01:06:06):
had our hearts broken, Lord, that we would not be hardened in
our hearts, but that we wouldexpect again like children.
Now I understand the word thatsays, unless you become like a child
because children have not hadtheir expectations broken yet.
(01:06:27):
So, Lord, I pray over mychurch, every single one of these
precious ones, Lord, that theywould become like children again
and that they would go backbefore their expectations were broken
and they would begin tooperate within the realm of hope.
(01:06:47):
Wouldn't it be just like you,God, to raise up a people of hope
in the hardest places of theUnited States where the most people
are hopeless, we are the mosthope filled.
Wouldn't it be just like you,Jesus, to do it in Miami, to do it
in Brooklyn, in Manhattan andLong island, in northwest Indiana,
(01:07:09):
in some of the most hopeless places?
Places is where you wouldbring the most hope filled people.
But it's gotta it's gotta flowthrough us.
If you want to come intoagreement with this, would you say,
God, let it be so that I wouldflow in Jesus name, sa.
