Veľa ľudí zo Slovenska má Egypt zafixovaný ako top dovolenkovú destináciu. Už menej ako miesto na expedičný výlet a ešte zriedkavejšie ako výlet za rodinnou históriou. Mirka Hamárová sa tam vybrala práve za spomienkami na detstvo, ktoré strávila s rodičmi a dvoma súrodencami v Káhire. Celkovo tam žili päť rokov, od roku 1966. Otec pracoval v strojárenskom priemysle v rámci sovietskej spolupráce so severoafrickými krajinami, deti chodili do československej škôlky a školy.
Návrat do minulosti bol súčasťou narodeninového prekvapenia, ktoré Mirke a jej sestre Lydke sprostredkovala naša moderátorka Tina.
